RPG [LIVE] is an unofficial live show dedicated to helping role players both old and new. It is coming soon, to a Saturday near you! We'll be working on this role play tab in the mean time; getting everything up to par and making sure everything is in running order before we start our first show of the new year!

Keeping your role play on topic! - 4/9/11: 8PM EST This coming Saturday. We're talking all about how to enjoy role playing more. Whether you are new or old to role play, keeping interest can be tough; tune in to see what you can do to love role playing even more!

This is being used through the role play tab for multiple reasons. One, so people can chat during the show, live, without having to sign up on another site. Another reason is we can show live examples, both in and out of character. Consider this a help tab for your role play needs. All characters are welcome, if you have any questions about role playing or role play design feel free to send a message my way!

Rules

  • There are going to be multiple places to practice role playing in. Keep in mind that role playing in the RPG [LIVE] rooms is to better yourself as a role player. If you do not have something constructive to say about how someone else is doing, please keep it to yourself.
  • The age restriction of this site is PG-13, the same goes for the chat, role playing, and the show.

Character Application

You can't post in this roleplay until you submit a profile for approval. Fill out the following form with your character information:

Basic Information


It is recommended you use your character's full name. You cannot change this in the future. Pick wisely.

Give a brief overview of your character. This is used as your introduction in our roleplay chat when you type the following command to go In Character (IC):
/ic Character Name

Upload a small 100x100 avatar for your character. This will be displayed in various places around your roleplay, such as dialogue.

Important Details

Filling one or more of these fields out will allow it to display on your character's profile, but leaving it empty will prevent it from being displayed. If you so choose, you can use the "Description" field to add any detailed information that does not fit into other fields. BBcode is enabled in these fields.


Describe the physical appearance of your character. Words are better than pictures.

Describe your character's personality and general demeanor.

Describe your character's equipment and tools.

Describe your character's history and background.

Good stuff last night. Not too bad for our first reboot. Unfortunately our video server gave out 3/4s the way through the cast so it didn't get saved for re-watching.

Stay tuned for next week as we go over how to be and make better villains in role plays!

Hope we can still get at least ten people watching! We achieved that last week so maybe we get 15 this week.

A RPG [LIVE] re-boot is due! I finally have some spare time so tell yo' friends. This Saturday at 8pm EST, I'll be doing a live cast on the importance of simple and short posts in role plays as well as keeping your role plays more fun to post in!

Our goal for this episode is 10 people! Let's get it higher than that, the more people, the more likely I'll continue RPG [LIVE]. Also, it makes for a better Q&A segment of the show.
