They destroyed everything. Our homes. Our families. Our lives. They dropped some kind of bomb that killed most of us. Anyone else was captured, mutated into creatures, twisted beyond recognition into mindless monsters. Now they patrol the streets, looking for us, "Runners". Most of the time, they catch at least one of us, and the poor soul is never seen again. What happens to them? The same thing that happened to the first humans that they captured.We call the creatures "Strangers", but some of them have haunting similarities to our old comrades.

We are Runners. We live on quick thinking, and quicker feet. We salvage what we can from the deteriorating buildings around us, and try to survive day-to-day life. We try not to get close to others, knowing they could be gone any moment. This makes our lives lonely, but some of us are starting to band together, training to fight whatever we're up against. We have begun to make a base. We call it Runner's Avenue. This is where you'll live for a while. Get used to it. This ordeal won't be over shortly.


So basically all of that meant...

Your world was destroyed. You now live the life of a Runner, what used to be a solitary existence. Now, you are forming something of an army, getting ready to fight for your freedom one last time. Good luck.

A note on characters
There will be no character skeleton, but please put in what you believe is necessary. If you think you need age, full name, DOB, and sexual orientation, put it in there. If you believe your character needs a photograph and a theme song, go for it. The more we all know about each other, the better.q
