Introduction
This roleplay was started about a year ago between Shohetsu and I.
Basic Plot:
Daniel Hosch was in a lot of debt when he decided to open his first restaurant, and he was in a gang called "Sex Money Murder" which was originally fathered by Peter Rollack (or "Pistol Pete") and was taken over by Sean 'Bullet' Mack. When meeting with Mack for a cover up on a murder investigation, Daniel found himself cornered and he couldn't get out of the situation. Daniel quickly left the state and moved down to Texas to start his life over as the owner of a restaurant called "Big Dan's House of Steak and Ribs" with money that he stole from Sean Mack's safe. When Sean Mack found out that Daniel was the one who stole his money, him and his gang members put out numerous hit attempts against Daniel Hosch. Hosch fought back with a small gang of his own: the S.W.A.T. team. He demolished each Hit plan that was put out on him for years. Years later, Daniel heard that Mack had died in a plane crash and was tempted to move back to Philly to continue his career as a restaurant owner. He succeeded in transferring his life back to Philly and re-opened his restaurant there, giving it a brighter name "Dan's Southern Steakhouse" and brought a new tradition and culture to Philly from the south. Little did Hosch know, Mack was in hiding and had covered his tracks almost completely. When Mack found out that Daniel had married and had two kids, he waited a while to call any shots against him. Daniel's wife, Farrah was kidnapped and a note was left in the mailbox claiming she'd left him. Being in depression for so long caused Daniel to become fed up with life and become suicidal. He gave his kids to an adoption agency where they were both adopted a few years later by a couple named Ezra and Richard Manter. The couple didn't care much for the kids and let them live in their household for about 2 years before kicking them out into the cold. From there, the two kids (Jayden, 13, and Scott,6, Hosch) fought their way through life with instincts and staying at homeless shelters, stealing food, etc. Since he got kicked out of his foster family's home, Jayden was a rough boy and knew how to survive, trying to teach his younger brother how to survive as well. Jayden planned his revenge on the family as he was curious to meet his real father and had been searching for him.
Current plot:
About a week ago, Jayden and Scott happened by a small corner store called "Dan's Convenience Store" and witnessed a shooting. The kids peered in at the scene and were also shot at. It was by coincidence that Scott had been shot in the neck, the bullet slicing through him, and him being Sean Mack's son. Sean Mack had no intention of having a kid and wanted it like this anyways. Just made the work easier on him. From there, people were constantly following Jayden around and Jayden became paranoid. He searched out his foster family because he knew what was going on, now. He was just trying to dig up more information.

OOC Notes
Okay it works.
OOC Notes
Officer Rob Parker nodded to Vaughn's suggestion and continued to advance towards the door. He was getting close to the room when a nurse stepped infront of him and asked him to step away from the room. "Excuse me, Miss, I need to get in that room." Parker said with a rude tone. "I'm sorry sir, but this room is quarantined. The boy must stay in his room. I'll lock the door so that no one can get inside." The nurse said and turned around to lock the door. "Fine, lock the door. That'll be best, anyways. Hopefully no one has a gun that can break the door handle." Parker said with an upset tone in his voice. He continued down the hallway to follow Vaughn, who was trying to see where the gun shot came from.
OOC Notes
Harold Weisner grinned as he listened to the conversation between the nurse and Officer Parker just outside the door. "Excellent," Harry whispered to himself. "Greg," Harry said in the walky-talky piece. "A nurse locked the door. So try to find a way over here. Go find a bathroom or something, man! Just try not to get caught. I'll try to get the kid out through the window."
OOC Notes
Gregory Newman whispered into his walky talky "Alright fine. I'll be around to the room in a few minutes just after I shake these cops." He shoved the device in his pocket and came to a stop in the middle of the hallway. There were 3 different ways he could go although he had no idea which one would lead him further away from the cops pursuing him. He heard some footsteps approaching and quickly decided to take the hallway on the right. In the distance he spotted an open custodial closet he could hide in for a few minutes. He grinned as he started to get closer to the small room.
OOC Notes
Officer Jason Vaughn swiftly maneuvered his way around the corners of the hallways looking for the source of the gunshot. "I think I heard them running this way, Parker!" He slowed down to a slow jog and eventually stopped. He took a few breaths and looked back at Parker who was following him. "We should probably split up, so if we find him we can have him cornered."
OOC Notes
Harold Weisner nodded in correspondence to Greg's response and grinned some as he looked down at Jayden who was lying in the bath tub. "Okay, Greg. Good luck, be careful." Harry said in the walky-talky piece. He kneeled down to pick Jayden back up out of the bath tub and carried him over to the open window. "Okay, buddy boy, time to fall out of the window." Harry whispered as he maneuvered Jayden up to the open window and slid him onto the roof. Harry jumped up on the window as well and slid down the roof some with Jayden. "Greg, I'm out on the roof. I'm going to lay low here for a couple minutes till you can get to safety. Try to get outside casually and help me get him down from the roof." Harry said into the walky-talky piece.
OOC Notes
Officer Rob Parker continued down the corridor where his partner was headed and was quick to catch up. "Hey, Vaughn, you see anything yet? I don't think there's anyone down here." Parker said, growing rather annoyed about the entire ordeal. "You think they got away?"
OOC Notes
Gregory Newman picked up his walky-talky and quickly looked around to see if anyone was around. "Alright. I'm going to be in the janitor's closet for a little bit until the coast is clear. Then I'll come out to the roof. Oh, and check to see if there's any officers down below. " Greg moved the supplies around in the closet and stuffed himself in, closing the door. He sighed and sat there in the uncomfortable spot waiting for the officers to pass.
OOC Notes
Officer Jason Vaughn looked around a little to see anyone suspicious. "No, I didn't see anything." He exhaled, putting his gun back in the holster. "They might have gotten away, sadly. They might have dropped something while they were running away though. But I doubt it." Vaughn walked around the hallway looking for any doctors or orderlies. "We should probably ask around to see if somebody saw anything."
OOC Notes
Harold Weisner nodded to Greg's words, although he couldn't see him, and stayed on the roof for a little while. "This kid's going to be out for a while. And even if he's not out, he's real fucked up so he'll be powerless against me." Harry reassured Greg.
OOC Notes
Officer Rob Parker approached Vaughn slowly and put a hand on his shoulder. "I didn't see anyone run this way, partner, and I was right behind you. But I did hear something in the stairwell. I'm going to get the rest of the team out here to investigate. This hospital may have to be shut down for now. We can't really allow any other patients to be admitted with this kind of danger. I'll alert the doctors and managers." Parker said and turned around to see if there were any doctors coming down the hall. None. He sighed and turned back around. "Don't worry, though, we'll catch 'em. For now, I'm just glad the kid's safe. I would check on him, but the nurse won't let me and I don't see anyone else around who's going to assist us. Well, whatever. Let's just make sure we catch this fuck."
OOC Notes
Officer Jason Vaughn nodded. "Yeah, I'm sure we'll get them sooner or later." He suddenly spotted Lt. Frank and his crew coming down the hallway with his crew, making sure everything was okay. "We should probably get back to HQ."
OOC Notes
Gregory Newman took a deep breath and slowly opened the door of the closet. He looked around too see if anyone was there. "All clear Harry. I'm going to start making my way up to the roof right now. Just stay where you are." He quietly moved out of the small, cluttered room and creeped down the hallway to Jayden's room. He tried to open the door, but it was locked. "Damn. How am I supposed to get out to the roof when this door is locked?"
OOC Notes
Officer Rob Parker sighed. "Well, we should probably stay here all night so we can keep watch. I'll monitor this floor with you, Vaughn. Let's get a couple of the others here." Parker said and reached into his pocket to take out his cell phone. He looked through his phone book and pressed the talk button, then put it up to his ear. He let it ring for a minute and then began to speak. "Hi, I need some other officers over here at the hospital to monitor the property." Parker said to the service lady who picked up the phone. "No problem" she said, and Parker hung up the phone.
OOC Notes
Harold Weisner nodded to Greg's orders and looked over to Jayden, who was lying there next to him, motionless and helpless. "You're fucked, kid." Harry said quietly and started picking at a scab on his elbow. "Hurry up though, it's cold as fuck out here and these shingles are making my back hurt like hell." Harry said quietly into the walky-talky piece. He laid there for a couple more moments then remembered the door was locked when Greg said something. Harry shook his head in dismay and sighed, climbing back into the room. "I'm coming to unlock the door." Harry headed over to the door, leaving Jayden on the roof, and unlocked it, then quickly rushed Greg into the room so he could lock it again. "I hope no one saw you."
OOC Notes
Officer Jason Vaughn nodded. "Alright, sounds like a plan. " He stood by and waited for Parker to finish the call. "So Lieutenant Frank, you and your soldiers find anything interesting downstairs by the lobby? There wasn't much up here, other than some bullet casings."
OOC Notes
Lt. Kilroy Frank shook his head and sighed "Nope. Nothing. The suspect got away? Damn. The boy is okay, right? Where is his room? We need to get some guys to guard that room, like Parker said."
OOC Notes
Officer Jason Vaughn scratched his head "Well, yeah. They got away. And Jayden's in his room recovering. He should be alright as long as he's not disturbed."
OOC Notes
Gregory Newman rushed over to the open window to see Jayden on the roof and began to climb out. "No, I don't think anyone saw me. Let's get outta here before one of the doctors come back and see that the kid is gone." Greg climbed out the window and carefully made it down on the roof, waiting for Harry to come down. "Get the boy, I'm going to go make sure there isn't anyone on the ground.
OOC Notes
Officer Rob Parker nodded along with Vaughn's words as he ended the phone call and listened to the ongoing conversation. "I just called for some back up, Lt. Frank. My team is going to be monitoring the hospital and patrolling so we can get some good security around here. No one gets past my men." Parker reassured him. He frowned some, thinking of the moment when Jayden was shot just outside his police station. He shook his head from the clouded memory that happened not even a day ago. He sighed softly and looked at Lt. Frank with concern. "I think that you should gather the information that Sgt. Rutherford's troops have accumulated. Remember, I asked you guys to send them out over a couple states?" Parker asked.
OOC Notes
Harold Weisner nodded his head in agreement and lifted Jayden's arm up so he could start sliding him down the roof. "I saw an emergency outside staircase on the side of the building when we snuck in, so we can just slide him on the roof over to the staircase and we'll be home free." Harry said, starting to nudge Jayden's dead-weight body over towards the west side of the hospital. He was more than certain this would be a clean get away. He heard some knocking coming from inside the room and instantly felt panic rushing through him. "Shit, we gotta hurry, I think someone's coming in the room." He quickly started pushing Jayden faster, and watched as Greg climbed down the roof. "Okay, I'll get him down fast."
Harry was quickly getting to the staircase, thankful that the windows of the patients were all closed and covered with curtains. He reached the staircase and climbed down to the first step and dragged Jayden down by his foot, catching him as he came crashing down ontop of Harry. Harry fell on the staircase with an 'oomph!' and picked himself up quickly. He dragged Jayden down the rest of the stairs and took a rest for a moment. "Meet me on the west side of the hospital. I'm walking towards the parking lot."
