The year is 3051. The place is Ryūjin City, an American city modeled in the likes of Feudal Japan. Emperor Tatsu (birth name Richard Philips) rules in fear of an uprising between humans and spirits, both of which occupy the city. His main concern is to keep the haggle of evil spirits at bay. They reside in the slums outside of the city, which are referred to simply as The Void. The Emperor has recruited humans to serve on several gangs, which have specific jobs. The groups are as follows:

The Sentinels - a gang that keeps watch over the several temples located in the city

The Patrol - a gang responsible for basically patrolling the city (cops, for a lack of a better word)

The Wildcats - a gang responsible for seeking out evil spirits and getting rid of them

Also, Emperor Tatsu has a group of giant, robotic samurai (yes, borrowed from Sucker Punch), that are called in when things really get bad. They are feared by nearly everyone in the city.

• All characters will be submitted for approval.
• Since the setting if a futuristic version of Feudal Japan, characters need to have at least one Japanese name. First, last, middle, nickname, whatever.
• Characters may be of any nationality, race, gender, sexuality, etc.
• Your character must be in one of the listed groups
• You may have up to 2 characters if you'd like.
• Violence is encouraged. So are romances. Just don't let the romances get too out of hand.
• Please stay within whatever plot line you're currently in the midst of. Jumping around gets confusing for everyone.
• Last but not least, have fun!
