Introduction
It has been three years since the first Chuunin Exams held in the Land of Seasons. Thanks to this event all countries involved have developed a treaty with one another, and now the Kage Summit is made up of every kage, not just those from the five most powerful countries. To make this happen, once every year, a few months before the first Chuunin Exam of the year, they all meet in the Land of Iron and discuss how many genin should be allowed to enter the exams, how tight security should be, and so on. And because of the incidents of the first exams, namely the genjutsu using Megumi, from Iwagakure, killing tens of genin for seemingly no good reason.
Megumi was, after being nearly killed in the exams by the Amegakure-nin Kiyoko, was taken in for questioning, but they could never get anything out of her. Then, one day, she was dead. No wounds, no poisons in her body, nothing. It was as if her chakra had just disappeared completely, and furthermore there was no sign of anyone other than the shinobi guards who had been to her cell.
During the last matches of the exam Gyaku revealed himself, although still in his transformed state, and tried to steal away Kiyoko, to learn the secrets of her blood jutsu. However, he was stopped by a seemingly random group of genin from several different lands who, when asked why they were so willing to help, said that it was simply because they were friends. It was hard, at first, for the elder shinobi to understand how they could become friends so close that they would risk their lives for one another, but now, seeing this happen over the years, they understand, yet still cannot explain.
Due to this fact they have instated a policy that, whenever a team of shinobi enter into another Land on a mission they gain another teammate, a shinobi from that land, who stays with them until the end of the mission. Thanks to this the relationships between the Hidden Villages has never been better. Even Shinotogakure, New Hidden Sound Village, has joined in these efforts. At this point there are now more jutsu in the world then there has ever been before, because as the shinobi of different villages spend time together they learn from one another, finding ways to develop their neighbors more simple techniques, which allows them to create completely new jutsu unique to that person.
There has been someone else though, someone who has known this fact for a long time. Over the last few years he has gained many more techniques and members for his organization, and now he has made his move, going after the Kage Summit. As of yet it is not clear weather or not he plans to kill them or hold them hostage, but that doesn't matter, as so far they have not been harmed, or even seen the leader of this gang. They have all simply been trapped inside a barrier, which suppresses their chakra enough that they cannot break it, or even use most jutsu.
Now, the elders of each village have decided that a team of highly skilled shinobi should be brought together and sent to the Land of Iron to fix this mess. This team is made up of several shinobi, from all over the ninja world. They will come together just north of the Land of Fire, in a small ghost town village known as Rakkahai no Sato, or the Village of Falling Ash. From here they will move north, to the Land of Iron, where their mission will really begin.

This is a squeal roleplay based on Chuunin exams in the Land of Seasons. All characters from the original rp are welcome, as are the roleplayers who created them. However, we will also be accepting one or two new characters, depending on how many characters follow over.
Story wise, this is an S-Rank Mission, and only those shinobi of great skill have been chosen for this. That means characters have to be of at least Chuunin level, but can also, and more than likely should be, of Jonin level. Over the last 3 years your characters will have gotten stronger, smarter, and developed more powerful jutsu along the way. Because of the teamwork between villages, they may also know jutsu they normally would not learn within their own village

The Village of Falling Ash had been named correctly. From somewhere to the west, maybe on the borders of Fire and Earth, a wind brought with it the ash from some ancient volcano. The streets were covered in ash, the buildings were all gray and black from the stuff, those that were left at least. When the Kyuubi had attacked long ago and the people of this village had fled they never came back, so the buildings that had been wrecked were now ruins, the streets still had cracks running through them, and there were even claws and bite marks here and there. Jin could only imagine the carnage this place had seen, all before his time.
"I can't even imagine what this place must have once looked like..." Jin said, thinking aloud, as he looked down on the village from the roof of what he thought might once have been a temple. It was hard to tell anymore.
The wind picked up, causing a rain of ash to coat his cloak. Straightening up he gave it a shake, and was glad he had kept his mask on as a cloud of dust surrounded him. This caused the village to be cast in a haze, but even through this the figure that suddenly appeared out of the shadows of a ruined shop could be recognised. It was short, bulky, and red. Yes, he was sure it was Ichiro, and when he jumped down from the temple roof to land on the ground below with a thud his assumption was confirmed.
"Good to see you once again, Jin-kun." Ichiro said, bowing slightly to him. "It's bee a while since you last came to visit me. I have missed training with you."
"Even with my mask on, huh?" Jin asks, chuckling a little as he takes the mask off, revealing his face to the light of day at least. "I was wondering who my new teammates would be."
"Yes, there is someone with a black aura here as well, hiding." Ichiro then said, looking around. The short man moves an arm out of his oversized cloak to reveal a glass senbon. He looked about to throw it, but Jin raised his hand.
"That would be Shibotsu, let him be. We'll see him when night comes. He doesn't much like the light of day, so he'll stay hidden until then." Jin said, amazed as always by his friends ability to sence chakras so clearly as to be able to identify peopple by them, as well as tell how far away they were from his person. "I wonder if it will be just the three of us. I hope not..."
"No, I believe more are on their way. I can't be sure if they are coming here or not though." Ichiro said, opening his hand and allowing Jin to watch the glass senbon melt back into his Armor of Glass. "Would you like to have a match while we wait?"
Jin could tell Ichiro was itching to get started. He wouldn't show it, but he was very worried about his uncle, and he was anxious to head to the Land of Iron to rescue him. Jin couldn't blame the guy. A year or so ago he'd had to rescue the Tsuchikage from an assassination attempt by one of Gyaku's men. And now he'd allowed the man to be taken hostage. he has to be honest with himself, his blood was boiling.
Instead of giving him a yes or no answer Jin flung back his cloak and began make a few handsigns. he then held his right hand palm up. "Hokori Tsudoi no Jutsu!" Jin spoke, as a large amount of the plentiful dust in the area around him gathered in an orb on his palm. Once he had enough he focused his chakra into it more, shaping it, as he spoke, "Ryushiton: Ken!" and with that the sword became solid, taking the form of a gray katana with no guard or details. This took less than a minute to do, but by then Ichiro was ready for him.
"Hariton: Hariryuheki!" Ichiro spoke quietly, kneeling and placing his hands on the ground as Jin charged him, sword at the ready.
Before Jin could reach him a large wall of glass rose up from the earth. It was crystal clear and he couldn't stop in time, so he ran into it, bumping his head before he could catch himself and move back.

"My turn!" yelled a voice as a lightning bolt shaped around a fist smashed into the glass wall and through it, being of a stronger element. As glass fragments rained down onto the dirt, he grinned at Jin. "Long time no see, Jin. I saw you guys having fun and decided to have a quick shot before you called it quits - like I should have done 3 years ago in the forest of death, maybe then i would have got some more fighting done," he said with a laugh, "but it did help, I suppose, no one knew my jutsu so I was able to take down Ken without too much trouble." He glanced around. "Shady still hiding? We should just get the dude some sunblock for his next birthday." he said, laughing again.

Sora looked down on the battle from a near by building, his feet hung from the side of the building as the wind blew and some ash whipped through his hair. Sora shook his head in disappointment and said “ you know if the enemy was watching you guys would have made yourselves perfect targets. He threw Kunai at each of their feet and then stood up on the building. He smiled and then disappeared in a bright blaze of flames. He then appeared next to Roku and said “ your as rash as ever, you haven’t changed much.” Sora then jumped up to a near by tree and watched, he then said “ let the battle continue I want to see how this fight is going to end.” Sora chuckled, he hadn’t seen Roku or Jin in a while and seeing them again brought back a lot of memories.

Ichiro watched Jin to see how he reacted to this. When he saw that his friend seemed to know these two strangers he smiled a little, and began making handsigns. When finished he looked at Roku and said, "Thank you for destroying my wall." And then he placed his wrists together and spoke the name of his next jutsu, as the winds began to pick up, spinning around him until they became a small tornado, with Ichiro at it's center. "Futon: Kagayaki Tanto Ame!"
By now Jin was already making handseals, knowing what was about to come. "Doton: Doryuheki." he said this quickly, then ducked behind the thick earthen wall that rose up. At the same time those shards of glass began to float up into the tornado around Ichiro, and as he moves his arms they sailed up into the air and the strong winds shifted and began blowing towards both Jin and Roku.
As the wind hit both men the shards of glass began to rain down atop them, each shimmering so brightly in the light that they made a sort of mirage, so that you couldn't tell where exactly they were just by looking.
"Damnit, I hate it when he does that." Jin said, reaching out and placing hsi hand on the dust around him, using his clan's hidan jutsu to gather it up, prepareing to form it into a shield, even as the sharp, jagged shards fell towards him, moving at their terminal velosity for maximum damage.

Roku flipped a kunai from his leg holster, spun it on one finger then caught it, alternatively dodging and deflecting the glass shrapnel with his kunai as it rained down. Granted, he could have just used his Lightning Armor - since it was a copy of the Raikage's own Armor most days he could take a nap in dangerous zones like this without much trouble as long as his kept the Armor up - but not needed just yet. Back in the village he once got a joke about his "lightning" reflexes after testing his own speed by having 10 ninja throw multiple kunai at him from different directions.

"Hey Roku, watch your back!" Jin yells, standing and allowing the wall to fall apart, the shards trapped in it. "He's about to-"
"Hari Bunshin no Jutsu!" Ichiro yelld, before Jin could finish his warning. This caused all of the glass shards to begin to move and grow, raising up to be come clear, hollow, glass clones of Ichiro. There were at least ten all around Roku before he had time to reach, and at Ichiro's word they began to move in towards him. "It's not nice to spoil the suprises in life Jin, isn't that what you told me once before?"
"Yeah, yeah..." Jin said, holding his right fist close to his body, sending a large amount of chakra into it. "Hope you got good balance! Ryushiton: Massive Impact!" And with that he slammed his fist into the ground. Immediately the area around him in a diameter large enough to encompass both Ichiro and Roku, the ground shattered, turning to dust, and sank as it begin to gather nearer the center of the large pit he'd just created, which would be filled half way with dust. The only solid piece of land was where he stood, and it was just big enough for him.
Jin watched as the two of them began to fall into the pit, then, just for good measure, he tossed in a stone shark, which began to grow to the size of an adult great white. "That guy can swim through dust like water, watch out!"
From the shadows Shibotsu moved, until he was standing at the base of the tree where Sora was watching thw whole affair from.
"Long time no see..." He says quietly, now leaning against the tree and sighing. "Hakatsukuru is hungry...I'll be glad when I can kill again...this match is just boring...why did you encourage it to go on?"

Roku leapt into the air as the ground started to cave in and pointed both hands at the ground, into the pit at the glass clones, not wanting to stick around and see if that shark could tell friend from foe, before forming a ball of air in each hands, sparks running through it, as he yelled, "Double Thunder!" and two balls of air flew down, expanding and slamming into the clones with the sound of shattering glass and a thunderclap, before he reached toward the wall with one hand, a hand of forked lightning reaching from his own hand to grasp the edge of a building nearby, pulling him towards to to cling to the wall, one hand on the roof's lip as he perched on the wall's sides.
"Careful with the earthquakes, Jin, these buildings have seen better days!" Roku yelled from his perch.

As the two orbs created through Raiton flew into the pit the stone shark moved from the dust into the earth itself, swimming away towards Ichiro. The unsuspecting shinobi was caught off guard as the shark then exploded underneath him. This caused a shockwave to travel up through his glass armor, cracking it, causing him to look like a shattered mirrior for a moment, before he flew back, flipping as he did, to land in a crouch.
"I want you guys to meet my new friends!" Jin said, making a long series of handseals before slaming his fisits onto the ground. From each of them flowed, onto the ground, the symboles of a summoning. "Earth Style: Dual Summoning: Shisa!"
And with that the ground began to shake, then, on either side of him, from a large puff of smoke, appeared a Shisa as tall as he was while they sat down. One of them was smiling happily, the other growling fiercely. Each were living beings, not stone as many of jin's other talents involved, and they each wore an Iwagakure headband around their neck like a collar. The growling one looked up suddenly in the direction of Ichiro and from his mouth came a ball of wind that blasted something. a second later glass rained down everywhere around jin and his Shisa.
"Senso is just as quick as ever I see." Ichiro was saying, his armor returned to it's normal near invisability, all but hic face which looked like a shattered mask. "And I can see Heion is already at work taking in the natural chakra of this place to fual Senso's jutsu. What a great team the three of you make. Too bad you are surrounded once more. And Roku-chan, I would advise you to take care with these clones."
Jin nodded. He and his Shisa were surrounded by several glass clones, however this time they were glowing red, filled with fire chakra. If they were to be destroyed they would each explode in an individual, massive fireball.

Roku hopped down and landed right in front of Jin and his two summonings. "Leave the Christmas ornaments to me, you handle Ichiro." He made a few handsigns, then clapped his hands together. "Raiton: Thunder Dome Jutsu!" A solid cloud of black formed around Roku, Jin, and the summonings, forming a dome over them as lightning crackled through it, then lashed out at half the clones, smacking them into the next clone in the group, cracking them both as they began to explode. The fireballs raged around the dome but was kept at bay by the dome, though the ground still cracked and burned around the dome. When the flames subsided, he dismissed the dome with a whirl of his hands, the moist clouds meeting the last of the flames and dousing them as Roku leapt aside to give Jin and the two summonings a clear shot at Ichiro.

Sora laughed at what Shibotsu said, Sora then responded by saying “well they looked like they were enjoying themselves, plus watching them fight will just give me ideas on how to combine our abilities and make ourselves that much stronger. Sora then sat down on the branch and let his legs hang, he started to stretch and yawn. He then said “you are right though, this fight is a little boring, I’m thinking about taking a nap, wake me up when they finish.” Sora brought his legs up on the branch and he placed his back against the trunk of the tree and he started to fall asleep.

"Never let him out of your sight Roku..." Jin said, annoyed with his friend. "We're trapped now. You can't see them really, but we're surrounded by glass walls that cannot be broken from the inside. And don't think your lightning attacks will work on them either. He once used this to capture three S-rank criminals who'd run from Lightning Country."
"He's right you know." Ichiro said, walking over and knocking on the huge glass box. "You'll have a hard time getting out of there, especially now that Jin has spent his energy on his summons."
Senso growled at the short ninja and proceeded to let out a very high powered blast of wind chakra from his mouth. The sphere of wildly swirling chakra collided with the class and the resulting sound echoed very loudly inside of the box, a defening noice that made both the Shisa cower a little, and caused Jin to actually fall over.
As Jin got up and was about to yell at his summon he looked over and noticed Shibotsu walking over, one hand up before him, with black chakra swirling around it. The chakra began to flatten out, forming a sort of disk, and when he seemed to think it was the right consistancy, he placed it, what now looked like a blackhole, against the glass. Immediately the glass did something odd. it didn't shatter, it simply turned to sand and fell apart, however that wasn't whrre the attack stopped. Both of the summoned Shisa were unsummoned, and even Ichiro's glass armor was dispelled.
"This is my All Consuming Darkness technique. With it I can absorb all chakra in the area, and any jutsu cast by it will be destroyed..." Shibotsu said. "Now, if you children don't mind, we need to be getting ready to go. I don't know how long we can wait for the others before we must leave."

Roku sighed as the windstorm echoed through the box. True, it was loud, but considering his thunder techniques resulted in a thunderclap - usually at closer ranges - he was used to loud sounds. Granted, he admitted letting the glass-user out of sight for a moment wasn't perhaps the best move he could have made - he could have just buzzed up his lightning armor and crashed into the glass clones and been okay, but Jin and his summonings would have been caught in the blast, at that range. And a lightning-proof glass box? Roku mentally snorted. Maybe he did capture 3 S ranks from his village with this, but unless one was the Raikage, he doubted a full power shot from the lightning armor wouldn't have made a rather large dent. Besides, lightning jutsu wasn't his only strength - not that he planned to show it off before it was needed, however.
Roku sighed again. "Damn, that was actually getting fun. Oh well. I guess we should get going." he said.

"You think you're going to leave without me? Ha, good luck with that!!" a voice called out. She was behind Jin and she placed a hand on his shoulder. "Long time, no see. For any of you." Kiyoko looked at all of the ninjas, guessing that probably none of them knew her anymore. Her white hair was covered in ashes, but her outfit was similar to the one she used to wear, but she had no headband anymore. "NOW we can go. Besides, I have a score to settle with Gyaku. Since you guys stepped in and didn't let me fight the guy."
Short, but I wanna see if they recognize her.

"Hey hey! Wait up little Ms. Legend..." he called out from behind Kiyoko, walking slowly throught he ash. Decked out in dark blues and black, it wasn't too hard to distinguished Sho Amegame against the pale backdrop of the Village of Falling Ash. As he caught up with her, the jonin wrapped his arm around his fellow Ame-nin. Looking down on her with a smirk he added; "You really think granny would let you go without some protection? Mifune was s'pose to come too but..." he shrugged, "I guess he didn't want to see you again..." he hugged Kiyoko tightly before moving on "I can't say i felt the same way though!" Sho's gaze met with those of each shinobi at the gathering, holding on sone longer than others. "Hm. Hey Jin, Roku." the greeting was left at that, no honorfics or any further comment. Poking at his eyebrow piercing, the Amegakure shinobi brushed some hair out of his face before speaking again. "Sooo...where to? I was told I wouldn't be leading this, so can we move along? I'd rather not taste and smell burnt corpse for any longer than I have to."
Sho walked into the room of his grandmother, expecting to be commended on another job well done...as if he was some child that needed praise. To his surprise, Konan waited silently from behind her desk watching his approach. "You called?" he said in a playful tone. Konan crushed any cheerfulness the moment may have had with her stern voice. She proceeded to explain a mission of the utmost importance, detailing each and every objective that had to be accomplished for Amegakure to survive unscathed. At the end of the lengthy exchange Sho simply stood staring. "I...don't think i'm the right man for this miss-"
"Kiyoko-san will be there, and you will act as her guard and escort, never to leave her side at any given moment."
"Done." he said, swiftly leaving the room to prepare for travel. As he exited the room, Konan smiled and added something about a lovesick fool.

Just to mess with Kiyoko Jin used the Body Replacement jutsu, replacing himself with a Dust Clone. He then appeared on the ruined roof of the nearest building, letting his clone fall apart.
"Well, honestly, I doubt that I would recognize you if it wasn't for that pervy Sho." Jin said with a laugh. During the replacement he had replaced his mask as well, but now he took it off. At the same time the Dust Clone fell apart. "I must say, you've really changed. I bet you've gotten alot stronger sinse we last met as well. You two remember Shibotsu, I suppose. This is Sabaku Ichiro, grandnephew of Gaara. I picked him up in Sunagakure."
"It is nice to meet the two of you." Ichiro said respectively, bowing slightly to the both of them. His armor was still reforming, so he seemed to be shimmering a little, but soon enough it was back, and he now looked slightly gray thanks to the ash accidentally gathered up by his sand as it reformed. "If I am not mistake Jin will be guiding us to the Land of Iron. He was promoted to ANBU, so he may have more details than the rest of us as well."
Shibotsu simply crossed his arms, nodding to Sho and Kiyoko when the Rain-nin's eyes met his own. It was true that he had much more control over himself than he did before, but he was still filled with hate, and a sense that he needed to kill.
"Right, well, I think it would be for the best if I told you all on the way." Jin said, leaping back down again. As he lands he makes a few handseals, then slams his hands on the ground. "Doton: Erasing of the Tracks." With that a wave of chakra washed over the area where he and the others had been fighting, and any trace of their battle dissapeared, even their chakra signatures which would normaly be left behind. "Now, let's get going. I'll lead, Shibotsu, pull up the real, and the rest of you fall in where ever you like."
Placing his mask back on and pulling his hood up he nods to his friends, then turns and starts off. Ichiro follows quickly behind him, while Shibotsu uncrosses his arms and waits for the others to go before he moves.

"Nice of you to show up, Sho." Kiyoko smiled at him, and then took off after Jin. She caught up to him quickly, not even bothering to stay behind him. "So, how have you been for the past three years, Jin?" Kiyoko looked at him curiously. She remembered him defending her, although she had just almost killed his teammate. Hell, she barely knew the guy and he still fought for her. "I hate being known in my village though. It makes it impossible to stay hidden well. And it makes it even harder because my hair turned white."

A muttered obscenity was the first action that would've come to mind, had they still been genin...but now all Sho could do was laugh. His attention was drawn to Ichiro and his face turned into a mask of genuine surprise. "The Gaara? Hm. You've got alot to live up to buddy. Anyways, nice ta' meet'cha." he said with a bow and a light-hearted grin. The shadow-child meeting his gaze was a bit unsettling though, and Sho made a mental note not to get on Shibotsu's bad side. Before he could say anymore, the group was already on the move. Jin and Kiyoko had taken up point, and he felt that she was safe enough with the anbu and easy to watch from there. Sho kept up with the tail of the pack, guarding the rear and listening over the wind to what explanation Jin had for the rest of them. No more words for him, only work.
Several sharp gestures of the hand brought chakra flowing to the back of the Ame-nin's head and eyes. Hogosha Metsuki no Jutsu; Guardian Eyes... a pair of glowing azure eyes appeared on the back of Sho's head briefly before fading away. The technique would allow for him to watch the back and front of the formation without any trouble. Well...time to get down to buisness I suppose.

Roku gave a laugh as they set off, seeing Jin use the Erasing Tracks jutsu. "A dust-jutsu user who has a jutsu to sweep the area clean - that's hilarious." he said, chuckling as they moved. Smile fading for a moment, he asked, "How's Jari doing? didn't see him much after we fought in the exams back then."
"And grats on being made ANBU, Jin," he said with seriousness, "no small feat. My village toyed with the idea of making me one but i got turned down, but i dont blame them - when your main defense lights you up like a Christmas tree and half your jutsu make thunderclaps, it's hard to do stealth missions," he laughed.

Jin laughed. He wasn't sure who to answer first, so he tried to go in order. To Kiyoko he said, "The thing with your hair is a bit odd. Do you think it has something to do with your blood illness? As for me, well, I barely ever have any down time anymore. Now that I'm a member of the Iwagakure ANBU, and the head of my own squad, I get all the tough missions that usually take me to far off lands. That's how I came across those two." He nodded back towards Ichiro and Shiboysu.
Then to Roku, "First of all, I'm not just a dust user, that's just my clan's hidden technique set, and second, Gyaku's men are crawling all over the place, spying on us, so that track covering jutsu will buy us some time to get away. You've got no idea how serious this really is." He paused then and thought about Jari for a second. "And Jari, he and Shinshi left after the exams, going back to the Kitichi family home in the mountains of Earth Country. After the battle between you two he needed several surgeries to repair torn muscles, he he got better. He and the bear went into the mountains to train, and I have heard from them since about two years ago."
He paused for a moment as they exited the Village of Falling Ash. They continued to move, but he stoped talking long enough to take off his now soot covered mask and get a breath of fresh air. Once he had done this his mask was back in place and he went on.
"Now, for the details of this mess. It seems that Gyaku had thousands of members in a secret organization he runs called the Uragiri, the Betrayed. It's made up of shinobi from all over the world who left their home villages and lands. Some are still considered to be alive, listed in the BINGO books as S-Rank Missing-nin, but most, as far as anyone is concerned, are dead." Jin says. "Gyaku uses these shinobi to infiltrate all of the organizations of each Hidden Village, getting his men close to the Kage. They eventually get the position of the Kage's guards to the Summit, where he already had a few samurai on his side as well. Between the two, and him showing up in person, the Kage can't make a move on their own."
"We must reach them before it is too late...Gyaku is a madman." Ichiro said, anger actually flooding into his voice, causing the glass armor over his face to contort, momentarily, into the face of an oni. Looking back and seeing it made Jin shiver. "If his demands are not met within the week, he will kill them all, but I believe that even if they are he will kill them anyway, just for the fun of it..."

"So Gyaku's group is similar to the old Akatsuki, just with more henchmen? At least it's the Kages this time and not some 'control the earth with the moon jutsu' grand scheme - makes things a bit simpler." said Roku. Still, his own Kage, the Raikage, was there - he thought the Raikage at least, might be able to escape alive - he had copied his lightning armor from him, after all.
"And Jari's torn muscles are not my fault," said Roku, "granted my Thunder Crunch and Guillotine Drop did some damage to him, but that was mostly bone damage - it was the Inner Gates opening that took an axe to his muscles. Kudos to him for going all out but it sure took it's toll on him."

Nodding, Kiyoko shook off the memories of Gyaku. "I should know him well by now, I guess. I haven't the slightest clue if he's still trying to get me into his organization, because Konan doesn't tell me anything about it. I'm really just a 'princess' I suppose. Have you ever heard of the Ketsueki Hime, or Himes I suppose. There is only one every 20 generations or so...I guess. They are apparently 'highly respected, no matter what Clan' and 'must be taken with caution' or 'must be guarded'. It gets annoying. So, I have guards around me at all times, and I'm usually not allowed out of the village." Sighing and thinking she was babbling, Kiyoko shut her mouth. She listened to Roku, and nodded. "Too bad I have barely any Genjutsu, because I can't see if it even works or not."
OOC Notes
Roku nodded. "Not much of a Genjutsu type myself - my chakra control is just fine, just never had an aptitude for genjutsu. Another reason im not the best for stealth missions," he said with a laugh.
"But why can't you see if it works or not? Something to do with your blood abilities or it is just hard to tell?" he asked.

"We're getting close." Jin spoke up.
It was beginning to get colder the further north they moved. He shivered a little, having always hated the cold, and knowing the place they were going, known as 'Three Wolves' mountains, would be at the heart of the frozen land, and very cold. This is where the Kage Summit was always held after the Madara incient so long ago.
"Basically," Jin began, not meaning to cut off the conversation, but feeling he should go ahead and tell them as much of the plan as he knew, "The plan is this, survive until we get to the mountains, then scout out the situation. Along the way we will have to face groups of shinobi with dangerous skill sets from all over the world. There's a very good chance that they will all be S-Rank, or higher, and that Gyaku will have choosen them to best our group. He already saw our abilities in the arena three years ago..."
Jin stopped speaking and glanced behind them, towards the rear of the group. He felt as if they were being watched, but from where he stood he could see nothing. Shrugging it off he turned back and watched as the clear skies darkened up ahead, and in the distance snow was falling already. "We'll be in the Land of Iron soon, right across the border. This is where we need to expect and ambush, so keep sharp everyone.

Nodding to Jin, and looking at Roku for a second, she simply said: "I can naturally see through Genjutsu." She fell back to where Sho was. "You excited?" she asked, knowing that her old friend loved fights. "You don't have to be my guard and you know it. I think I know why Konan put you on this mission actually." Chuckling, she dragged Sho forward, back up to where Jin was. "Join our briefing so we can get to work, Sho." She repeated the plan and then let go of Sho. Hoping he could run on his own two feet, Kiyoko looked back to where she was running.
OOC Notes
Roku grinned. Despite how serious this was, he always liked a challenge - kept his mind and skills sharp. "So soon as we hit the mountains, we should expect heavy resistance? Or at least highly skilled resistance? Good to know." he said as they moved.
"Who will be doing the scouting? You, Jin?" Roku asked.
"Who will be doing the scouting? You, Jin?" Roku asked.

I think I do...from somewhere....BLEH.
Yes, this is the OOC. Yes, I think we are accepting new characters. If you've read the other RP:
The Chuunin Exams in the Land of Seasons
Then I think you are able to join. :D That RP is closed already, this is the sequel.

Re: [OOC] S-Rank Mission in the Land of Iron
okay, so far i've got 3 baddies done, once i get them all i'll post them, and i'll be putting one up as an actually character, that Keiji guy i mentioned earlier in the rp.
as for the eel-nin, just one of the tougher chuunin. he is a freak, and resistant to both suiton and raiton, but aside from that, and his hydra-like ability, he's actually really weak. think of it as a challange :D
find a new way to beat an enemy, without using your elemental jutsu

Re: [OOC] S-Rank Mission in the Land of Iron
