Back-story: Johnathon is one of the hunted by the nightingale but does not really understand why. He is what he is, a cross bred vampire. But he doesn't know that he is hunted because of his race. He wanders from place to place without really staying in anyone place for more than a week. Johnathon is half vampire half faery. This means that he not only gets injured by sunlight, though his resistance is higher than most vamps, he also gets burnt by iron. He gets treated badly because of the vampire dna. Not many people know what he is.
