Description: Kora is, shall we say,a rather distinct individual. Over six and a half feet tall, with wild, wavy red hair and pale skin, she comes across as pretty intimidating at first glance. And for many she only becomes more intimidating fro there.

Kora speaks with a distinct accent, closest to norwegian, and is able to speak in english, norwegian, and a strange dialect that is, in fact, Old Norse. She tends to shout whne annoyed, or excited, or trying to emphasize, so she'd rather hard to ignore.

Clothing-wise, most of the time Kora has little interest in dressing up, only tending to don anything very feminine when pressed. Most of the time she exists in a T-shirt and cargo pants. However she is rarely seen without her mjolnir, a little pewter charm in the shape of Thor's Hammer. She wears it nearly all the time, and tends to toy with it when nervous.

Personality: Kora is defined mostly be being quite...intense. In pretty much all ways. If she is angry she is screaming and shouting and breaking things. If she's happy she's also screaming and shouting and breaking things. Most extremes of emotion seem to manifest in destruction of some form, and when she isn't doing any of these she's often listening to far-too-loud heavy metal music or drinking other staffers under the table. She can...grate on people a little.

Kora has a serious trouble controlling her temper, and struggles not to fly into a rage at trivial matters.

Kora has been raised to see herself as destined for greatness. The child of 100 generations of selective werewolf breeding, she feels that she is special, that she is just waiting to show the world something amazing. Whether this is justified or not, remains to be seen.

Stemming from this, Kora is a little bit elitist in regard to werewolf bloodlines. She tends to see herself around the top spot, other old bloodlines below that, other born-wolves below that, and turned wolves at the very bottom. She doesn't mistreat them, but she will sometimes condescend to them and neglect to nderstand why they might be irritated by this. Additionally she tends to mistrust vampires, her bloodline having had a long running ancestral grudge with them, dating back to the roman era.

Whilst she has many faults, Kora is, if nothing else, extraordinarily brave and unflinchingly loyal. She will take a bullet for anyone in SCION, several bullets most likely, and will still probably have enough fight in her to stove in the face of whoever it was holding the gun in the first place.

Skills: Kora is the inheritor of the bloodline's much pried and cultivated power, the Berserker Rage. She is able to vastly increase her physical ability and become impervious to pain for temporary periods, making even her human form dangerous and her werewolf form like a furry tank. When this is invoked her body temperature spikes so high steam begins to rise from her nose and mouth, and contact with her skin will begin to burn and blister a person's skin. This combination results in unrivalled destruction, but is severely debilitating in the long run.

Weaknesses: The Norrvinter bloodline have been selectively breeding for the strongest and most dangerous werewolves for centuries. Unfortunately this sometimes involved marrying within the family. As a result a large number of health problems have been bred into those who inherit the berserker gene. Whilst most werewolves can live longer than the average human, the lifespan for a berserker is usually only around 30 years. Kora's blood vessels will often rupture in response to stress and power usage, and it's not unusual for her to vomit or cough up blood. Inviking berserkrgang only speeds this along, and puts additional pressure on her system, however the pain nullification effects of the ability often prevent her fro realizing this in battle. Kora is aware she doesn't have an awful lot of time left.

Brief History: The Norrevinter bloodline are one of the oldest unbroken lines of werewolves in the supernatural world, able to trace their ancestry back to a pack of germanic tribal werewolves captured by a roman general and transported to Britannia during their occupation for use as gladiators. Supposedly their captor, and keeper for many years, and general and lannister named Caius, was a disguised vampire, and, from this long-remembered act of cruelty, the family developed a long-lasing hostility to the 'parasites'.

During the dark ages, the family worked among humans as soldiers and raiders, becoing chiefs and heroes and sparking the historical accounts of the v 'ulfhednar', the 'men in wolf skin', otherwise known as the viking berserkers. They were revered among the norse culture as 'The Wolves of Odin' and remained in high regard until the norse religion fell into decline, as more of Scandinavia converted to christianity, a faith with no place for their kind.

In the modern era, the Norrevinter still retain quite a bit of political sway in supernatural society. This is despite their rather drastic decline over the years. Plagued by ill-health, very few still exist, but they remain the main link to the more...savage nordic wolves.

The Norrevinter reached an agreement with SCION back in its early days, to offer up their heirs for service with the organization. This allowed their sons and daughters to prove themselves on the field of battle without having to disguise their true natures...and without them having to start wars with other packs or species...something they weren't above doing in the past.

As such, when SCION was revitalized, the organization found themselves saddled with the newest addition to the family, a gangly, shouty and entitled teenager by the name of Kora. Over the next ten years said annoying gangling teenager because a pretty impressive asset to the organization. Kora was loud, uncouth and a stubborn as an ox, but she was also fearless and principled and an incredibly good fighter. She stands on the verge of being made a squad commander, something she's pretty keen on, but other things are also occupying her mind.

Sometime during the initial interrogation of Lulu Crystal had slipped away. The blood on her hands and clothing making her feel nauseated and bring up painful memories. The heat and noise of the shower as she scrubbed herself clean of the blood was therapeutic, and took her mind off the mission at hand. Or it did until the sound of screaming carried through the building and into the house.

With a sigh Crystal stepped out of the shower and changed into a new set of clothing before heading off to see what the comotion was about. Once she saw all the blood, another half dead person in the room she promptly got out of the way and went to the living room.

Beneath the smell of blood she could smell the sweet scent of pizza. Darting over to the box, Crystal grabbed a slice of meat pizza before darting away. She had no desire to be be near the person holding the box. Instead Crystal moved towards the other rookies in the room who must have arrived during her shower excursion.

"So uhh how did your questioning go? We found a vampire attacked by a werewolf pack and she mentioned something about green blood. So were pretty sure she knows something about the thing in the morgue." Said thing seemed to currently be in the house as the smell of it's putrid blood was unmistakable.

Even as she spoke more people enter the living room and a familiar scent hit her nose. Her eyes feel on Spire starring at the man for a moment before turning back to the two 'children'. As she spoke to them she slowly moved to a position where they were in-between her and the newest wolf entering the building.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Fel's eyes popped open as shouting and urge to heal pain started accompanied by her own pain. Shaking as she got up, Fel limped over to her back up wheel chair in the room. Exerting a ton of effort she managed to wheel the thing to the medical bay where a new wave pain washed over her.

Reaching out Fel touched Orren with a shaking hand trying to get the doctor's attention and healing her at the same time. "Arc got turned? Is he here? What happened? I think some vampire used some type of mind control because he started killed people."

Her hands shook more than they should and she started feeling nausea on top of the pain. This sickness was more than something caused by the wounds she had received something was wrong, very wrong. Focusing through the haze she eyed the person Madison was holding, instead of the urge to heal the person she was hit with a repulsion.

Her instincts took over and without realizing it Fel rolled her wheel chair away from Madison and the creature. Her own voice was loud and uncharacteristically cold "Let it die."

Fel blinked as if her own words surprised her, she felt guilty. Fel loved everyone vampires, werewolves, mages, and humans. Yet this one creature made her feel sick and want to run away. It was a confusing set of emotions to deal with.

To say Derrick was not happy was the understatement of the year. He had just gotten off the phone with his superior who was even less happy.

Over the phone he had been told two things. First was that he had to go lock-down the safe house. The second was to pick up Arcturus as no one else wanted to touch the newly turned vampire.

Before getting on the great task of transporting a vampire like some postal worker he instead went to the store. After all if he was going to be trapped with the rest of the crazy SCION folks he at least wanted to have snacks. After spending a little more time than necessary Derrick loaded up his black van with tinted windows and headed to pick up his 'package'.

Doing a quick check to make sure it was indeed Arcturus and not some random druggy or mobster he went to work. Pulling up his shirt to cover his mouth Derrick tossed a small charm onto the floor, the sound of glass shattering echoed on the walls of the empty warehouse. In the location where the bead broke black smoke came pouring out, heading towards the nearest target (which happened to be Arcturus). The black smoke was a short lasting knock-out gas that would insure Derrick's safety as he transported the new vampire to the safe-house.

Now the hard part was lifting, well dragging really, the fully grown man into a vehicle. After that was taken care of Derrick drove back to the safe-house wondering if he could bring Arc and his grocery into the house in one trip.

Arriving at the safe-house Derrick loaded four grocery bags around his arms before dragging the vamp in. Arcturus would probably have some bumps and bruises for being dragged around but that wasn't really Derrick's problem.

The moment Derrick was through the front door he unceremoniously dropped Arc, but not his grocery's, after all he had paid for those. Turning to a nearby wall he moved a pretty painting of a sunset of the beach to its side revealing a hidden rune beneath it. Reaching out Derrick traced the rune with his fingers and muttering something under his breath. As he muttered the rune glowed brighter and brighter until a blinding flash burst from it, spreading through the whole house.

With that down Derrick turned to those present in the room and spoke his voice a chiding tone like one would use on a toddler. "Alright children, you've been put in time out while our parents sort out the mess you made."

After that announcement he finally turned assessing the room and those in it. "I am going to put away my food and then we are going to all have a little pow-wow where everyone not involved in medical operations are going to tell me what the hell happened out there." Derrick's tone was condescending as he continued speaking."If you kiddies are good I may even share the candy I bought with you." His sunglasses turned clearly looking at Spire. "That pow-wow will also include how you ended up part of this mess Mr. Schippers."

Issac chortled ,offered a half hearted smile at the suggestion of a drink. He did need one, but he also didn't. Many nights had Issac simply drank his life away, he had stared up at the world from the bottom of a bottle more times than he cared to admit. At the moment however that suggestion pulled on him stronger than it had in years.

" Only if you go drinkin with me." He said in a joking tone.

She went on about the person she had found, Issac quickly drew the connection to the vampire Montana had been dealing with upon their arrival. The news she had been torn up after learning to much worried him. If who ever was willing to kill anyone with any idea as to what was going on, well then that just added another layer of shit to deal with. Not the fact that whom ever would kill, but rather how many of the bodies were just victims of the classic blunder of 'seeing to much'. Sure it'd be easier to figure out what was going on sense all the bodies and what not could be linked to the killings, but the killings with more purpose would be harder to find. More leads to chase down, more foot work. And here they were, stuck in timeout because of poor mission planning.
Figures.

" Have any leads on who did it? I know Alexander and Kora had talked with the wolves around here. They turn up anything?"

" Sounds like you two are gonna get a cookie out of this while mom and dad ground the rest of us. Where is the kid anyways? She do well or did she freeze up after finding what's her face?" Issac was curious how Crystal had handled the whole situation, with her being new to not only SCION but the whole supernatural world, and the gore that it came with it.

“What,” Stride began freely, “ya need me to hold your hair when ya start tossin’ up? Look, man, I know ya well ‘nough, but not that well.” She didn’t seem to notice much of Issac’s internal dialogue, attention currently stolen away by a can of soda she was reaching for. As her fingers wrapped about the black aluminum, she grinned, moving to pop the tab and relishing the soft hissing that followed.

“Accordin’ to Lulu,” she went on, taking a pause to pull away her mask, “it turns out that the York Pack ended up havin’ more of a hand in things than we thought.” A sip, fabric pulled up once again. “Some of ‘em were cartin’ off the cryptid when she saw ‘em, and when we found ‘er- our new source- she was in some alley somewhere. Fucked up pretty bad.”

Another pause, this time to lower the drink. Carefully, Stride lifted a finger, and, placing it against her collarbone, spoke again. “From here…” her finger traveled, then, mapping out the scratches inflicted on their guest. “To here. Had a buncha bites, too. Even if they weren’t the Yorks, some werewolves really wanted the chick dead.”

The can was returned to her hand. “Don’t know much about what they found out, but Kora said that the local packs would apparently stay outta things. ‘parrently not, though.” A shrug. “Thought she went off to talk to the Yorks, too, so it just makes things even more of a pain in the ass to deal with.”

At Issac’s next question, the woman’s grin returned, and, absentmindedly, she made a slight gesture with her soda. “Last I saw Crystal, she was hangin’ with the other rookies. Did pretty damn well out there, though, gotta give the kid that; was the one who found the body, ya know. Went and froze up a lil’ when she actually got there, but she did real good.” Stride gave a slight nod at her own words, admittedly proud of the young werewolf. After all, she had been one of the people often called in to deal with the girl, and with their similarities, it hadn’t taken long for Stride to take a shine to Crystal.

It was nice knowing the kid had true potential, and seemed to have enough of a stomach to at least keep from barfing at the sight of a mauling.

Derrick's lips curled up in a smirk at Alexander's statement "Yes well, I do enjoy being a courier and delivering packages." He was silent as Alexander dragged Arc off, and as Montana led away the wildcard known as Spire.

His silence was broken as he heard Stride's words about 'the bosses out to get them'. "Trust me Stride, your teammate has done enough of a job screwing things up for you then the bosses ever could."

Before anyone could go into a panic thinking that the teammate was them he turned to look at Issac and Stride. "And it's not either of you by the way, though everyone blundered a bit today it's the person who is not here right now that caused the most commotion." His voice took on a darker tone "I'll explain what happened when Christina is down, after all I want another mage around to confirm how inappropriate that medieval idiot acted before I decide the proper course of action next time I see him." His tone evened out after a quick pause. "Issac if possible could please tell Christina to come back down after you've apologized to her."

Pausing for a moment he reached into one of the grocery bags and pulled out a box of granola bars and passed it to Issac. "Oh and since you're headed in that direction could you please give her these, they should help with any energy drain by using magic she is experiencing." How Derrick knew Christina was experiencing energy drain was not explained as he moved on to his next task.

After he was done speaking he moved to Kora and handed her a bag of grocery that was full of various candy and chocolates. "Here, we are going to be stuck here for awhile I know werewolves have a higher metabolism. So I bought this for you and Crytsal, share it how you want." Truthfully Derrick just bought it because Kora liked candy, but he didn't need the others to know that he had a heart.

After giving one bag to Kora he then went to put the rest of the bags away in the kitchen. Putting them away consisted of placing the bags on the counter and then going back to the main room to have a chat with Stride.

Skipping the pleasantries the mage went straight to the point. "Do you feel up to donating some blood today? I was informed by the higher ups that we are running low on blood supplies in here. With two extra vampires joining us and one being heavily injured, we are in dire need of blood." His lips curled up once again as he spoke the next part. "So Stride are you willing to let me stab you? You can stab me back if you know how to draw blood."
