His hair is cropped short and chocolate brown. He has eyes the color of wild storms that always seem to have a twinkle in them. He has an easy, relaxed stance and an approachable quality about him.
Personality: When he was a young boy, Borse was overconfident and cunning. In his village, he was always at the heart of causing trouble. After he underwent the tragedy of losing his whole village, Borse lost a part of his carefree self and lusted after blood. However, as years passed and wounds healed, he grew tired of his lifestyle. Now at the age of 42, he acts like a person half his age. Chasing after women, drinking, gambling. He has released his burden and is back to the carefree self of his childhood.
Back story: Borse grew up in the small town of Inbern near the Summer-Winter border. As a result, he is no stranger to the art of war and fighting from an early age. However, it was always just small skirmishes, never anything serious. Sometimes there were injuries, but no one ever died on either side. However, at the young age of sixteen, Borse was returning from patrolling the border when he and his companions noticed smoke raising above the horizon. They galloped into their village to find it in flames. Loved ones lay in the streets where they had been cut down from behind. Those who survived, wept for the ones they lost that day. From that day on, the town of Inbern ceased to exist. Upon the blood of those he lost, Borse vowed revenge on those who had mercilessly murdered his younger sister and family. He organized a war party from those who he patrolled with. Together, the band set out on the trail of the murderers. Five days later, the blood thirsty young boys caught up with their prey. They left none alive. Women, children, babes, even the horses they rode upon. All were killed. When they realized what they had just done, many of the boys were disgusted and frightened with themselves. Some lay down their weapons and never picked them back up. For Borse, who knew of nothing but the sword, he road far to the south to escape the memory of what he had done. He was welcomed into the ranks of a rag tag group of bandits. It wasn’t long before he was leading the same group of outlaws down from the hills to attack unsuspecting merchants. With Borse leading the men, they soon garnered a fearsome reputation. After one raid, however, Borse would leave the group forever. And he has never looked back since that day.
Extra: He carries with him the stone figurine of a seagull. It was an heirloom that had been passed down through his grandmother’s side of the family who is said to have been one of the Sea folk. When the figurine is close to the waters of the ocean, the spirit that resides inside the stone can be called upon.
