Introduction
The change has happened. No one knows how, or why. It happened so suddenly. 10 years ago, the change happened, and everyone over fourteen years old just simply....dissapeared. After that, people came, no one knew who those people were, or where they came from. They arrived in buses and promised everyone safety. These people were lying. They took the people to places called 'the dorms' and there, humans were taught simple things and were trained. The reason for this was so that they could have good brains for their creatures. The kinds of creatures are mentioned below.
The creatures:
Tracker: These are the 'hunting dogs'. They tell the myrmidons when people are nearby. They are quite vulnerable, but are still able to kill an unarmed person. They track in packs of 3.
Myrmidon: The hunters. They are incredibly strong, they carry a broadsword and a net-gun. They are responsible for hunting down humans who escape the dorms, are the guards and teachers at the dorms, and are also the overlords' main unit when fighting other overlords. They hunt in packs of 7. There are master myrmidons that are significantly stronger, but those are kept on reserve.
Winger: They are birds that strike from the sky. They carry off humans to the meat factory and are scouts for the overlords. It is very hard to kill them. They fly in packs of 9. There are versions of wingers that are gargantuan compared to the others, but they are only used for carrying overlords.
Screamer: These beings help find the humans that escape. They can emit loud, ear-piercing screams that can stun most beings that are near it. They walk alone, and have no line of attacking anything.
Ferret: These creatures hunt at night, and are one of the most feared. They love dry places, and can easily rip a human to shreds. They do not capture the human, rather, they use the human for food. They travel in packs of 5.
Mammoth: These beasts roam around, looking for humans. If they see one, they will charge, destroying anything in their way with their pike-like tusks. They hunt either alone or in packs of 11. It is random which ones they choose, making them even more threatening.
Esters: These are giant, snake-like creatures that are extremely rare. It is almost impossible to see them until it is too late. They are extremely agile and very, very hard to kill.
Overlord: These control and make all of the other creatures. It is said that they made the change happened, and are impossible to kill. There are eight overlords.

Locations
These are the important locations in the roleplay.
The dorms: This is where the majority of the humans are. It is where they are raised until they are old enough to be made into a creature.
The meat factory: This is where the muscles and the brains of the humans from the dorms go. Creatures are made here.
The mating place: Some females don't go to the meat factory. If they are strong or smart enough, they get put here to be mated and supply more children. Usually from 4-6.
The muscle dorms: Where humans are trained to become very strong. The muscles of these humans go into the creatures.
Shade's base: Where humans saved by shade live. This is truly a safe-haven.
These are the starting places available for your character:
The dorms
The mating place
The muscle dorms
A note: in your starting location, you will have a tracker that will make it impossible for you to leave. Your first post should be how you remove it.

Re: [OOC] Shade's Children
To what degree does the shapeshifting work? Are we talking looking like anything, does it need to be living, or roughly the same size? Also, can they shift parts, or only their whole being? (i.e. shifting an arm or legs for a specific purpose.) It does look interesting, but maybe more specifics on the powers extent would be useful...
Re: [OOC] Shade's children: the RP
When you join, your first post will be how you escaped the dorms. After that, you are on the run, and you find shade. He takes care of you and sends you on various missions.
