Introduction
No one knows how many lives have been lost and recreated in the fight against the shadows. They say that people have lost count, or that those who were counting have been lost.
My name; Bahkrunum. I mean death in the earliest possible language and to you I am the closest thing there is to a God. It is I who ferries souls from this world too the next, at least when there were few of you I did this with my own hand, now I implant a shadow into each of you and they do it for me. I just oversee the process. If you will not call me God then I think of me as Deaths boss, you know the personification of death? That skeletal figure with a cape and scythe? I help him bring you to the next stage of your lives, call it heaven, call it hell, it is the same place for you all.
Every human has a shadow that will stay with them throughout their lives, in this shadow is a being that is the humans opposite in every way. When a human dies only then can their shadow meld with them and allow their passage to the next life. The problem is that even in this world there are humans with pure hearts, who create black hearted shadows. So when their human dies this shadow with a black heart is likely to abandon its human counter part and go off on its own, taking human form. This creates a ghost, and an almost unstoppable shadow.
So you see that my system is corrupt, there are far too many shadows being produced thanks to humans who believe me to be a God who will take them to hell on judgement day. Therefore I have created an Organization, if you will, a team of humans with advanced powers all over the world to track down and kill these shadows. To become a Shadow Weaver you simply have to die, and fear this death so much that you make a deal with me. 500 years of service. Fun.
So come to me, you cowards, you beggars, you who love life so much. I can offer eternal youth, immortality, and more than a lifetime of servitude. Your soul for just 500 more years amongst those humans you loved so dearly.
Basically
You are a shadow, a shadow weaver or just a normal human trying to go about your normal day. Shadows are evil, there are no good shadows, or shadows that wish they are good because to be a good shadow all you have to do is go find your human and take them to the next world, and then you aren’t really a shadow, you’re a spirit.
Shadows can take on human form, and just as easily melt away into a puddle of darkness and slip between the smallest cracks.
They can only be stopped if shot/stabbed in their chest or head, this does not kill them, this simply paralyzes them and turns them into black puddles of uselessness. However if a shadow weaver touches a pure diamond to the shadow puddle the shadow is transferred into the diamond and therefore captured.
Shadow Weavers, our good friend Bahkrunum created these from the spirits of the dead. Once you die you follow your shadow to the next world but as shadows can break from humans, humans can break from their shadows. If a human fears death or feels like they have something to do in life that they haven’t done or just simply wants to stay on Earth a bit longer they simply sign a deal with Bahkrunum and then return home with a nice new body, super human senses and enhanced speed as well as the ability to transfer shadows into diamonds. Nifty. And all it takes is for you to give your soul to Bahkrunum for, say, five hundred years. Then you are assigned to an organisation, which can be anywhere in the world, although for this RP the shadow weavers will be based in London.
Shadow Weavers recover from minor injuries much faster than normal humans and can not be killed unless stabbed through the heart or beheaded, even then Bahkrunum just brings the Shadow weaver back to life, he intends to get the full 500 years out of his souls.
Humans, do they need any explanation? The humans are oblivious to the shadows, you do not find out about your shadow until you die. You know that white light people claim to see? That’s their shadow saying “Come on, hurry the fuck up I want to move on!”
A plot would be helpful?
In white chapel, England, present day, murders have been taking place, in the shocking style of those done by jack the ripper. Little do humans know that Jack was in fact a shadow captured 120 years ago. However the diamond was stolen and has not been found. Now these murders are re appearing, does this mean that jack is back or is something more sinister going on?

"Klaus."
The quiet whisper came from behind him, making him jump. He could feel the soft presence of his brother now and wondered why he hadn't felt it before. Maybe it was because he was focusing on the room in front of him, the room full of mingling young adults, all dancing close and drinking. His eyes were on the tall blonde in hot pants that resembled knickers, her long bare legs slender and heeled. She was beautiful, perfect, the most obvious give away. "Eiri." he hissed, "Don't do that!" He brushed a hand through his vibrant blue hair.
"Could she be more obvious?" Eiri sighed, the music was pounding but his quiet whisper was heard easily, partly because their connection was so strong that it seemed as if they talked directly into each others minds. "Must be a newb."
"I dont know," Klaus frowned as he straightened up, they were standing in the foyer of the club, peeking in and getting their bearings before leaping into action. "I think she is being too obvious."
"How can it be to obvious?"
"Dude, she just back flipped."
"Point taken."
Klaus grinned, "All right, obvious or not she needs to be taken out, you ready?" he turned to Eiri, having to look down ever so slightly to catch his brothers perfectly formed eyes, the eyes that matched his own, except for the fact that his were a slightly darker shade of honey.
"Of course," Eiri offered a small smile in return, the closest he'd get to a grin, "Be careful brother."
"I always am." Klaus replied confidently as he pulled Eiri into a hug. He kissed his forehead gently as he moved back and tugged his shirt over his belt. He gently touched his shoulder to make sure the hand gun was still there as he watched Eiri walk back outside. He took a deep breath before he entered the club. Klaus was slightly taller than the blonde, and he walked straight towards her as many other men had done, he caught her eye and took her hand, mesmerising her with his golden eyes as he pulled her away from the guy she was grinding against. He grabbed her hips and pulled them into his as her lips came close to his own. He could smell alcohol on her breath, mixed with skunk. Drugs gave her a small high, nothing compared to what they did to humans though. His hands clenched her arse as he skimmed his lips over her neck. Yeah she was glamorous and sexy but he was mesmerizing and she wanted him now. He felt one of her hands knot into his hair. She was going to kiss him, and the thought disgusted him, he let her lips get close then pulled away slightly, "Let's take this outside." he suggested.
She came willingly, out of an emergency exit and into the darkness of an alley, she pushed him against one of the grimy walls, he hated that. He took her hands as she whispered "I want you." yeah she wanted his death on her hands. That was all she needed. She moved close again, going in for the kiss, then suddenly he heard the light dance of feet and the squelch of a knife sinking through fake flesh. Her eyes flew wide and her mouth gaped open, black blood spilt from it, and he pushed her back. Hating the idea of that on his clothes. He moved off of the wall as she melted. Leaving Eiri standing just behind where she had been. He smiled.
"Don't." Klaus shuddered, he'd wanted to do that since the moment he had touched her. "Just capture it, before it reforms."
Eiri knelt down, he sheaved his blade and took a diamond from his belt, he touched it to the black puddle on the floor. It turned to what appeared to be smoke and slipped into the diamond, turning the priceless jewel black. He placed the diamond back onto his belt. "That was boring." he commented.
"Yeah it..." his phone was ringing, Klaus fished his silver motorola out of his pocket and answered with a flourish. "Yo."
"Klaus, you know its me." the voice sounded annoyed.
"Yo Boss."
A sigh, but instead of the 'all i want is a bit of respect' speech she said "How did it go."
"I think I caught an STI."
"Put Eiri on." obviously she wasn't in the mood for him. He handed the phone to Eiri who looked bored as he took it, removing his recently opened lolly from his mouth. Klaus watched him as he conversed with Theresa.
"Ma'am...yes...yes...no problem...Really?...since when?....no ma'am...of course...yes...yes...we'll be there." he disconnected and handed the phone back to Klaus who put it away looking annoyed.
"Yes ma'am no ma'am, you sound like her bitch." Eiri was walking away so Klaus hurried to catch up, "Oi Theresa's Bitch, where are you going?"
"White chapel."
Klaus stopped walking. "Bitch say what?"
Eiri turned, looking annoyed, "We are going to white chapel." and finally he smiled, a real smile that Klaus hardly ever saw, he could tell that this was going to be good.

In the quiet streets on the edge of Whitechapel, a rather loud giggling could be heard. Everything was peaceful and there was not a soul on the streets, well, except for two. One figure was obviously taller than the other, the taller recognisable as male from his build compared to the smaller person - who was the source of the loud laughter.
"Tommy, you're so funny..." Kaia sighed as she got over yet another fit of giggles. She didn't completely understand why this guy was so funny. It probably had something to do with the however many drinks she'd had tonight. Kaia might've been underage, but she was still able to get many drinks from her older friends. They found Tommy in the club they'd been to that night. When it was time to go home, seemingly sobre Tommy had offered to walk Kaia home.
Everyone else was too drunk to say no, and so here they were.
"Neaaaaaaaaaarly home!" Kaia sang, not caring if her high pitched voice woke anyone up. She practicly skipped along the pavement to keep up with Tommy's long strides, stumbling a couple of times as her heels weren't exactly made for skipping. Kaia was dressed for going out, denim short shorts and a bright red halter neck top with glitter hear and there, a red flower pinned into her soft blonde hair. A light black jacket hung on her frame.
Kaia paused for a moment, as she rummaged in her little bag to find her keys. This told Tommy that they were almost to her house.
Tommy pulled Kaia from the middle of the street, leaning her up against the wall of a building, holding her waist gently. Kaia looked up at him with curiosity. They weren't getting home by standing here. The thought seemed to slip away though as all she could see were his big dark eyes and mop of messy dark brown hair. The corner of his mouth tugged up in a crooked smile, seemingly amused by Kaia's sudden awestruck state.
"I really enjoyed tonight," He whispered, one hand reaching from her waist to hold her cheek. His touch chilled Kaia, though took no notice of the strange feeling that he gave her. She still gazed up at him,
"Same here..." Her voice was really quiet, as if lost in the moment of the situation. Tommy's smile grew a little more as he leant in close to her, noses touching,
"It can only get better..." He replied, closing the gap between them with his kiss. At first, Kaia was drawn in by it all, falling for Tommy's charm.
His grip on her waist tightened greatly, making Kaia gasp in pain. It felt like claws digging into her side. She tried to pull away so that she could check that she wasn't scratched, but Tommy didn't let go. His other hand took her arm, holding her against the wall with more force that there was no way she was going to be able to fight.
"Tommy let go..." Kaia told him, though he did not let go. The dark flash across his eyes worried her. Kaia squirmed in his grasp, the pain from his tight grip and the sudden worry of the situation made tears sting her eyes. "You're hurting me..." She cried, though Tommy ignored her, kissing her lower neck in a seductive manner in an attempt to shut her up. The claw like pain returned to her side as his grip on her waist tightened again, this time Kaia was able to feel blood warm her skin.

White Chapel wasn't too far away, with their enhanced speed and lucky breaks at catching buses just on time they were there within two hours, so it was around 3 AM. They walked slowly, at the outskirts of White Chapel now. Eiri was sucking on a lollipop as Klaus was busy looking around for where he thought they should be going. "You should ask for directions." Eiri suggested, the street light highlighting his hair as a breeze ruffled it. It seemed that around here the street lights were slightly too far apart so every now and then they were drenched in darkness.
"From who? It is 3 AM, I hardly think anyone will be awake, and if they are it is unlikely that they are coherent enough to even give directions."
"You just dont want to ask for directions" Eiri accused.
"I would, you know what, how about I do it right now?" he headed towards a house "I'm sure these people would love to be..."
Eiri had caught his brothers arm and pulled him back, "No need, there are some people." he pointed at two people leaning against a wall. His enhanced hearing kicked in so that he could hear their conversation I really enjoyed tonight the boy was saying and it made Eiri smile a little, how sweet. He watched as Klaus looked to them and knew what he was thinking. "Sadly, brother, we have neither a bucket or water."
"I could just knock here and ask to borrow..."
"Sh."
"Don't you sh me whilst I'm scheming!"
"Shut up Klaus." She sounded distressed, "Li..." but Klaus was already gone, heading towards the couple, Eiri followed and breathed in through his nose, finding the scent of blood in the air. His brother was rushing off to save the day. Eiri followed closely, ready to back him up if he needed to.
Klaus was moving low and fast, he vaulted a low wall and ducked behind it, he didn't know if this was a human or a shadow, from the spilling of blood and the sexual display he guessed shadow, but then again there were some sick humans out there. From what Klaus could see the guy was using his nails to cut her, most likely a shadow then, forming the tips of his fingers into points to hold her in place. He'd never understand why shadows liked the taste of blood so much. He felt his brother behind him. "Eiri I think it's a shadow." he said quietly, "Cover me." He knew that his brother would have preferred to plan a bit more but Klaus preferred to wing it, besides they worked so well together that a plan was hardly needed.
He jumped up and leapt over the low front garden wall he had been hiding behind, two more steps and he had his hand around the shadows wrist, he pushed down with his fingers snapping it so that the shadow cried out. When his claws were out of the girl he threw the shadow away. Eiri was on the shadow in seconds, a flash of metal in his hands as he brought the knife down and through his neck, black blood spewed out and he sighed, they had gotten it right.
Klaus took the girls arm encase she felt like falling over. "You ok?" he asked as Eiri rose to his feet, having captured the shadow, and approached. He stopped a good few feet away and surveyed her, she was pretty, but looked a little wasted. He had the feeling that Klaus would enjoy this.

Kaia couldn't stop herself from screaming as Tommy suddenly cried out, an after gasp escpaing her as she watched someone stab him through the neck. Then there was someone else blocking her veiw of him, but she'd already registered that Tommy was dead now. Her breathing was shallow and fast, eyes wide with fear as she tried to figure out what the hell was going on. It certainly wasn't normal for someone to attack her after a night out, and then for the attacker to be killed by two strangers. She knew that she had drunk a few tonight, but she didn't think that her imagination could have made this one up on its own.
It was noticable that she was trembling as one of the attacker's attacker held her arm, asking if she was okay. Well, would he have been okay if he'd just been attacked and then had a second attacker come along to apparently save the day? She was then reminded of the cuts in her side as her waist throbbed with pain, blood still warming the skin and soaking through her shirt.
She sniffled in an attempt to stop the tears from flowing, though it was a fail. Scared, confused, in pain and still rather tipsy did not make a good combo for while she was infront of two strangers.
Kaia looked up at the one that was holding her arm, swallowing hard as she tried to calm down. The colour of his eyes, they were a good pair of contacts to look so real. And what kind of dye did he use to get that shade of blue?
In attempt to make herself look a little less stupid, Kaia pushed herself away from the wall to stand by herself. She was a little wobbly at first, but she managed.
"I'm fi~" apparently walking and talking was not possible though, as she took a step forward to prove herself, though instead ended up stumbling so that she practically fell into whoever was holding her arm. There was no point in trying now, she couldn't make herself look any worse than she had done already. The muffled whimper into the stranger's shirt signified her giving up on trying to be fine on her own.
"No..." She admitted, whimpering back to crying again as she held onto this stranger. If they had saved her from Tommy's attack, they had to be people worth trusting - that was her mentality right now. "It hurts..." She didn't say what, but she meant her side hurt from Tommy's hands or claws, or whatever they were.
She was slowly breaking down, Klaus could see it when she looked up into his eyes. She was trying to act tough but there was nothing tough about her. She was drunk and in shock, trembling all over. She obviously wasn't okay, it was just an automatic question that he asked. He held her arm a little tighter as she tried to step away from the wall, failing terribly, she fell into him and he caught her with ease, as if he was used to catching falling girls. He wouldn't have minded if she wasn't crying uncontrollably and bleeding. He held her away from his body after she'd had a moment to cling onto his shirt. "Woah there, don't get blood on my shirt. Eiri, take care of this." he ordered, knowing that in the presence of other people Eiri was pretty much socially paralysed, "Just let her cry all over you for a bit, where is that diamond?"
Eiri moved forward, looking awkward he reached out to the girl and put his hand on her back, he took the diamond out and gave it to Klaus as if he was trading it for her. He took the girl into his arms and held her close as he'd seen others do, mainly others in films. He stroked her hair a little, watching Klaus over her head as he examined the diamond.
"This thing is still fighting." he commented, "That's crazy." he pressed his lips together then looked Eiri and the girl over, "You look like you were made to do that." Eiri ignored him, still not speaking much due to the girl still being present. He knew he should say something to her, ask her where her house was and things like that. Klaus seemed to read his mind and spoke for him, "So, where can we drop you off?" not exactly how he would have put it though.

Kaia wasn't sure what was going on, not understanding what was being said most of the time. She was just being passed on from one person to another. This other didn't say anything, but he seemed to be much more... comforting than the other guy. Instead of being held back, she was held close, allowed to cry into him. He even stroked her hair a little, giving her the chance to calm down on her own.
So, where can we drop you off?
They were going to leave her? After they had just come along and saved her from... god knows what. She had only been around them for like two minutes, but she didn't want them to go just yet. She felt safer now that they were here, and was scared to think what might happen if they left her so soon after the attack. Kaia knew that she couldn't make them stay though, and had to be glad that they were kind enough to help her the first time and take her home. She took in a deep breath, knowing that now she had to pull herself together. She then pulled herself away from the guy that was holding her, just enough so that she could look around and get a grip on where she was again.
"It's not far..." She said after a few moments of getting her boundries right, "23, Heartfilia Road. That way," She pointed in the direction she'd been heading in before Tommy had stopped them.
She then noticed that Tommy was not around at all. She looked around, incase he was out of her sight range, but he diffintely was not around. She blinked a couple of times, brow furrowed with confusion. She was sure that they had just killed Tommy. He surely couldn't have run off from a stab to the neck like she saw.
"Where did Tommy go?" Kaia felt the need to know what had happened to her attacker.

Klaus looked into the direction she had pointed in, not too far then. Which was good seeing as they really did have somewhere else to be. He then looked back to the girl, Eiri had let go of her as soon as she had pulled away, he was still feeling awkward as her arms were on him still. Klaus thought that he really needed to teach Eiri some social skills, as soon as they got to the organisation that had been set up in white chapel he would get right on that. "Eiri, maybe you should carry her." he suggested, remembering how bad she had been at walking before, then realising that asking Eiri to do it was probably the worst idea, he didn't know how to carry girls, reaching back into his memory Klaus realised that this was probably the 5th or 6th tie Eiri had come into contact with one. His brother preferred books.
Eiri looked startled for a moment by Klaus' suggestion, all he knew about carrying girls was how he had seen it done. So far movies seemed to have worked so he moved to bout one arm around her back, the next part was a little bit more tricky. He looked up at Klaus for assistance then realising he needed to say something he quickly let go of her, too much, fuck it Klaus could carry her. He was saved from having to say this when the girl asked where Tommy had gone, the brothers exchanged a glance before Klaus moved to put his own arm around her and swept her up into his arms so one arm held her legs whilst the over was around her back. She was so light that he nearly threw her, having not expected it.
"Tommy?" he question, sounding confused, "Who's Tommy?" His eyes met Eiri's, indicating that he should jump in and telling him exactly what to say.
When Eiri did speak his voice was soft and quiet. "Maybe it was that guy we saw, walking away."
"Some date," Klaus' eyes flashed to praise his brother. "He kissed you then went and left you, we came over because it looked like you couldn't walk."
"You were... you were in a right state,"
"Must have really been into him," Klaus and Eiri exchanged the words quickly, all the time moving in the direction she had indicated. Eiri was looking away from her as he spoke but Klaus was just glad he was joining in, life would be so hard without him. He adjusted his position a little, so he could get a better grip on the girl.

Kaia was about to tell them that there was no need to carry her and that she would be fine on her own, but before she could even get a word out she was swept off her feet by the one that had held her arm in the first place. She couldn't stop herself from squealing a little as he almost tossed her into the air. She hadn't got a chance to warn them that she wasn't exactly hard to carry.
She looked from one guy to the other as they spoke between them about what had happened to Tommy. It was then that she noticed that these two were brothers - perhaps even twins.
But... they had hurt Tommy, she had heard him cry out. One of them had pulled Tommy away, and she was sure that one of them had stabbed him. She couldn't have made that up, surely, even after drinking. The confusion by this was obviously plastered on her face. And if Tommy had just left after kissing her, then why did her side hurt?
"But... I saw one of you stab him in the neck..." She said, looking from one brother to the other, questionning their version of what happened. "And Tommy hurt me..." Now she was just confused.

Klaus rolled his eyes, why couldn't humans just accept what he told them? It would be so much easier. They were still walking down the street, Klaus slightly in front of Eiri, he didn't like the way that Eiri often acted like a subordinate when people were around but there was nothing he could do to stop that, he had tried. It was Eiri's only flaw but Klaus loved it as much as he loved his brother. "Just tell us when we get to your house." Klaus reminded her as he lifted her top a little. "Eiri?"
Eiri moved in front of them and walked backwards, looking at the marks on her side, other than those her skin was smooth and pale, he frowned as the thought entered his mind. He slipped his gaze away from her, "Looks like you fell." he said meekly, moving back to walk just behind Klaus.
"There you go." Klaus said as if that decided everything, "Looks like you just fell. And as for the stabbing, do we seriously look like violent people?" he offered her his best innocent face.

Kaia hissed through gritted teeth as her top brushed against the cuts on her side. She looked at them too as the other guy examined her. She'd had wounds from falling over, and found it rather odd to have got cuts like that on her side. She was pretty sure that they looked more like claw marks, but apparently she was in no fit state to judge what was right or not.
"I don't remember falling over though..." She thought aloud, trying really hard to remember what had happened. She frowned with effort, pretty sure that the only falling that she'd done was falling into this guy's arms. She was known to forget a few things on a night out though, so it was always a possibility. "Hmm. Maybe I should stop wearing heels then, they're obviously not doing me any good..." She continued to think aloud.
She then felt bad as the guy carrying her asked if they looked like violent people. If she had forgotten about falling over in the first place, perhaps she was also wrong about Tommy being attacked by these two - eventhough she was absolutely sure about that one. They'd been kind enough to help her home, so they couldn't have been that bad.
It was then that she saw her house from over Klaus's shoulder.
"Oh, we went past it..." She declared, "Sorry." If she'd been paying more attention to looking for her house rather than deciding whether she was making stuff up or not, then this poor guy wouldn't have to be carrying her for longer than needed.

"At least you didn't stand naked outside a primary school with your hair in bunches" Klaus commented, "Not that I know anyone who has done that." He caught Eiri smirking out of the corner of his eye. "And sweetie I think the heels look great." he tapped her leg a few times where he was holding it. Then shifted her non existent weight again, "I bet you can walk." he carried on, "Your just loving this far too much." he shook his head as Eiri offered him a lollipop. Eiri then skimmed his eyes over the girl and offered it to her instead.
Klaus stopped walking as she spoke, telling him that they had just gone passed her house. Klaus sighed and turned around coming face to face with Eiri. "About face" he smiled. Eiri frowned and stepped back, sucking on a lollipop he proceeded to follow Klaus. "Fabulous sense of direction by the way." Klaus commented. He liked the sound of his own voice, Eiri thought.

Kaia's brow rose slighlty as Klaus said something about standing outside a primary school naked with your hair in bunches. Uhm, whut? She blinked a couple of times in bewilderment at the comment. She wasn't sure whether she wanted to delve deeper into that story or not. Probably best not to. She then felt a rush of heat flood her cheeks as they turned red after his compliment.
"They look great, kill your feet though, and make you fall over..." She replied, looking up at Klaus with a small smile, "Just be glad I'm not fat..." She added with a giggle as she pictured Klaus trying to carry her if she was about four times her actual size.
She looked at Eiri with a slightly surprised expression as she was offered the lolly, eyes lighting up like a child's at the sight of it.
"Thank you..." She said as she gently took the lolly from him, fiddling with the wrapper as they turned around to go back to the house they'd walked past. She was quiet for a few more moments as she managed to uncover the lolly enough to pop it into her mouth, the stick poking out the corner of her mouth. She couldn't help but frown as he commented on her sense of direction, "Your fault for talking to me too much. Didn't let me concentrate on where - wait this one!" She yelled, not wanting to miss it again. Realising how loud she'd been, she suddenly clapped her hand over her mouth, looking a little more embarressed now. She looked to Klaus and Eiri, eyes squinting a little now as it was pretty obvious that she was smiling behind her hand.
She couldn't help but giggle now, finding it strangely amusing.
"Yeah, my house is right there..." She managed to talk through the giggles.

Klaus noted the slight flush of her cheeks as he complimented her and that gave him some satisfaction. Then something struck him, a curiosity that he couldn't shake. "So tell me, why is it that you are letting a complete stranger carry you about?" he asked, it was a curious question, perhaps this was what humans did to meet people, place trust in them. He listened to her comment on heels and nodded "yeh don't I know it." he agreed. "And if you were fat I'd still be able to carry you." he did have enhanced strength after all. She took Eiri's offered Lolly though, honestly it surprised him that Eiri even offered it to her, then again she had been all over him moments before.
She seemed to be a little careful when taking the lolly from Eiri, maybe she had sensed that gentleness was needed around him. Your fault for talking to me too much. Didn't let me concentrate on where - wait this one! He winced a little "Sweetie I have really good hearing, less of the shouting please." He was also going to comment on the accusation she had shot at him but she had her hand over her mouth, obviously a little embarrassed and trying not to laugh. She was kind of cute really. He stopped and carried her to her house, leaving Eiri standing at the top of the front garden, he finally set her down, stretching his arms out.
"Well then, this is it. I wont charge you for the ride."

Klaus's question about letting a stranger carry her. Honestly, she had no idea. It was not likly she had much choice in the matter, as before she could refuse his offer, he already had her in his arms and carrying her along. She dropped her hand from her mouth as she was sure that she wouldn't shout again,
"I guess you two feel like trustworthy people." She shrugged, feeling a little bad now for having shouted as he complained. She couldn't help but smile a little as he said that he'd still be able to carry her even if she was fat. "Look at Mr. Strong man, with his fat carrying ways." She giggled again, a little sad now that their little adventure to her house was over. She was having quite a bit of fun.
As soon as she was down on the ground again, Kaia wasted no time in taking off her heels, not caring if she was outside. At least there would be less chance of falling over. She couldn't help but sigh with relief as her bare feet were flat on the cold step.
"You have no idea how good that feels..." She said, holding her heels in one hand as she gazed up at Klaus, perhaps feeling a little more sobre now after their short journey to her house. It was probably now more noticeable how short she really was, having to make a real effort to look the guy in the eyes.
She frowned slightly as he said that he wouldn't charge for the ride,
"So how am I supposed to repay you and your... brother? I'd feel bad if I couldn't help you in any way after you two were nice to me for no real reason."

Trustworthy, wasn't that a nice word, if only everyone was trustworthy. He heard Eiri chuckle a little at the girls comment and he smiled along too. "So your good at being funny as well as being a damsel in distress." He watched as she took her shoes off and then sighed with relief, she dropped down to her real height and he was actually amazed at how short she was. He smiled a little, "Wow, you didn't tell me you were a dwarf." he commented. Resisting the urge to reach out and ruffle her hair.
And she wanted to repay him? Well he had a million answers for that but felt that none were really appropriate. Instead he just smiled at her and turned to walk away. Eiri was waiting for him at the end of the path looking suddenly bored. He clapped his hand to his shoulder as he approached, "Right where is this place again?"
"A run down looking apartment building, 23 Bankurn Lane." She was a little further away, he could talk with some comfort now. "I think its just a few roads down actually." he admitted.
"You knew this all along didn't you?" Klaus shot, remembering the direction argument they had been having.
"Of course." Eiri smiled.

Kaia was surprised as this guy said that she was good at being funny. Really? It wasn't her aim to be funny, although she guessed it wasn't exactly a bad thing to be able to make someone laugh. She couldn't stop herself from scowling though as he called her a dwarf.
"I prefer the term, vertically challenged." She corrected him, though her scowl didn't last long as he simply smiled at her and walked away without another word.
He was just leaving? Not even a goodbye? Not even a suggestion of how to repay them for their kindness? She couldn't even shout her thanks to them as he didn't exactly appreciate her shouting last time. Then she realised, why did she care whether he didn't like her shouting? It was doubtful that she'd see these two again, so it didn't really matter did it.
"Bye then!" She called to them, waving to them from the front doorstep, "Thanks for your help!" she added, flashing them the best smile she could muster.

Klaus looked over his shoulder and waved to the girl then turned away with Eiri, he put his arm around his brother as they walked away.

There it was, the white chapel organisation. It was a five story building disguised as run down flats with 'Sold' signs in the windows. Around it was an overgrown garden with creepers and moss covering the path to the door, giving it a springy feel underfoot. Klaus and Eiri made their way up the path, looking around cautiously, some shadows who knew where institutes were liked to hide outside in ambush.
"It's really quiet." Eiri said quietly.
"Too quiet." Klaus grinned.
"No I'm being serious, usually you'd expect some sort of noise or at least a car or two to go passed."
"Honestly Eiri, who would want to even drive through this area? Let alone live in it."
Eiri had to agree, it was disgusting, he'd seen men shooting up in alley ways and one woman on the corner had asked him if he'd like to lose his virginity. He'd blushed and carried on walking with his head down, Klaus had only just stopped taking the piss out of him for it. They approached the old looking door with its rusted handles but when Klaus tried to open it it did not budge, not in the slightest. No doubt this was just a crap door melded with a thick iron one. Klaus frowned at the door, Eiri rung the doorbell.
"Smart move."
"One of us needs to be smart." Eiri shot.
"Yeah mum must have given the looks to me."
"Klaus, we're..." but before Eiri could point out that they were identical twins the door swung inwards to reveal a large entry way, it was dark, the only light came from the gas lamp that the roundest woman Eiri had ever seen was carrying. Looking passed her the brothers could see that the room beyond was very glamorous, even the little amount of light showed her that.
"You run out of money for electricity?" Klaus questioned as he took in the gas lamp.
"Klaus Divine." the woman sighed, her large eyes, rounded by her glasses, flicked to Eiri, "I was warned about your brother." she told him. Eiri bit his lip, visibly shrinking back. He did not like to be directly talked to be strangers. "Well come inside then, before the bogey man gets you."
"Bogey man?" Klaus asked as he stepped into the warm foyer "I'm more worried about the crack addicts if I'm being honest." he felt Eiri close behind him, looking around he heard the click of the front door as she closed it.
"You are a bit later that Theresa said you would be," she said as she came to stand in front of the boys, holding the lamp up to get a better look at them. "I guess you came into a bit of trouble," she said as she flicked her eyes over the blood stains on Eiri's shirt. "You will be wanting to go to the medical floor, I'll..."
"No that wont be necessary." Klaus cut her off, "It's not his blood. Now if you don't mind i'm shattered, can we see our room?"
"Ah yes, his way boys, one room for the both of you Theresa said. Bit odd i thought but there yah go, i don't know, youth these days."
"I'm sorry, do you fight shadows?" Klaus asked abruptly, taking in her size, he felt Eiri put a hand on his arm to warn him.
"No no lad, you seen the state of me? No, I'm just Ol' Roberts wife you see? You'll meet him in the morning, he's the real hunter here." she came to a flight of stairs and began leading them up it. "I've put you boys on the first floor, one of the biggest rooms for you. I'll come and get you in the morning then Robert can explain to you what he'll be wanting you to do."
That made Klaus pause, "What do you mean what he wants us to do?"
"Your working under him, didn't you know?" she glanced over her shoulder, but Klaus was looking at Eiri's expression, he knew that face of innocence all too well.
"You bastard" Klaus hissed "Ouch!" the round woman had stopped and waited for them to catch up, then given Klaus a good thump round the side of the head.
"There will be no swearing in my house."
"For one thing..." Eiri tightened his grip on Klaus's arm, this wasn't the time to piss of the leader of the organisation's wife. "Whatever." Klaus pouted. They reached their room in silence and the woman opened the door for them.
"Oh, I'm Clara by the way." she introduced herself, "It's been nice meeting you boys, i'll see you in the morning." and that was where she left them.
Klaus and Eiri went into their room, they had no stuff on them but knew they didn't need it, when moving from one organisation to another their stuff was usually already moved for them and sure enough their separate wardrobes were full of clothes. And one had a huge pile of books stacked beside it, indicating that it was Eiri's. Eiri was quiet as he undressed, stripping down to his boxers, he then slipped into the double bed. This was all done in compete darkness with just the moon to light the room. It seemed a lovely room really, Eiri was sure he'd come to appreciate it soon. Organisations often had good taste in furnishings and decorations...
"So, we are working under the leader of this organisation are we?" Klaus asked as he slipped into the bed.
Eiri nodded, he hadn't told Klaus because he knew that Klaus would have whined like a bitch or just flat out refused to come on the mission. "Hows your head by the way?"
"You are such a bastard, and it hurts, a lot." he was sulking. Majorly.
"There will be no searing in this house." Eiri mimicked Clara's voice, making Klaus laugh. He felt himself relax a little more then, knowing that laughter meant that he was forgiven. He settled down, pulling the covers around him as Klaus did the same, he felt his covers snag. "Hey, stop hogging them." And so the nightly argument began.

Kaia watched as they walked away, disappearing down the street. She then realised that she didn't get a chance to find out their names. She frowned a little at the thought, before rummaging in her little bag for her keys. She quietly crept inside the house, unsure of why she was being so quiet, as he parents were on a long vacation to australia - something about visiting family out there. She had no idea.
She dropped her heels at the bottom of the stairs before clambering up the steps with hands and feet. Her side was really starting to sting now, so she needed to get that sorted.
Kaia plodded into the bathroom, peeling off her top and rummaging through the medicine cabinet till she found a big enough plaster to go over it. It was more like a gauze pad that she'd stick on with tape, but it would do the job so she didn't care. As carefully as she could, she cleaned the cuts, hissing at the stinging before putting the pad over the cuts and making sure it was stuck down firmly.
She could then wander into her room and find the biggest t-shirt that she owned, which wasn't hard really. She pulled it on over her head and pulled the bottom half of her clothes off so now she just had the oversized t-shirt on.
As soon as she fell into bed, she was asleep, not even bothering to pull the covers over herself till she became really cold.

Banging on the door woke them, Eiri started so violently that he fell out of the bed and onto the floor, pulling the covers with him. The sudden chill then fully roused Klaus who sat up straight and looked around, startled. "Eiri?" he questioned as he got off of the bed and went to the door one hand knitted into his hair. He opened it to face the round woman, still drowsy and in his superman pants. He watched as Clara took a step back, a little shocked. "It's 9 AM!" she cried, "Why aren't you dressed?" Klaus looked down at himself.
"I thought I'd just go out like this today."
If she had feathers she'd be ruffling them in agitation. "Robert is waiting for you, he has been waiting for you for the last hour, his shadow weavers are to be at breakfast by eight, you would do well to remember that in future." she huffed then stormed off. Klaus closed the door slowly, looking around he saw Eiri's blue head and honey coloured eyes peeking over the bed.
"Did you hear that? Did you hear what you have gotten us into?"

They reached the kitchen at ten, Klaus dressed in jeans and a white shirt with a black blazer. Eiri was dressed in jeans and a overly large jumper his glasses propped up in his hair. Robert was sitting at the table where two plates of ruined scrambled eggs sat waiting. The boys stood in the doorway, Eiri slightly behind Klaus, Klaus could feel his apprehension. Robert was a large man with what appeared to be a permanent scowl. He was a rather scary looking man.
"Sit down boys."
They sat opposite each other, behind the plates of eggs that there was no way that they were touching.
"You will be here at eight tomorrow." he told them, "Theresa has placed you in my charge whilst in white chapel," he turned the pages of a thick file in front of him and Klaus recognised it as their file. "It appears that you have not had much discipline when under Theresa's charge." he mused, "And you do everything together?" his voice was cool, calculating, chilling. "Highly recommended you two are." he nodded, "Klaus, you are a little bit more... unhinged?" Klaus frowned at him, not liking the choice of words he had used.
"Totally crazy I am." he commented.
"I see." he paid little attention to that. "Well boys you have pretty much been left to your own devices when given missions, I must warn you now that with me that wont be the case." he smiled.
"Lovely," Klaus stood up, telling Eiri with his eyes that he should too. Eiri went to get up but then Robert slammed his fist down on the table.
"Sit. Down."
Eiri remained in a half crouch, his hands on the table lifting himself off of the seat ever so slightly. Klaus locked his eyes with Robert, "We can work together, Robert, but I am afraid that we will not work under you."
Robert smiled, "Of course, I expected nothing less." he stood too and held his hand out to Klaus, "Partners it is then." Klaus studied his hand for a moment, unsure of whether to take it or not. "Now Klaus, this is no way to treat a partner." Klaus nodded and took his hand they shook but before he could pull back Robert tightened his hold to one of iron then brought his other hand down on Klaus's wrist, snapping a silver bracelet around it, the bracelet shrunk down so that it could not be removed by slipping it off. Klaus made a sound like a slow growl as he snatched his hand away, Eiri was fully on his feet now. He examined the bracelet. "Now, Klaus, sit down."
Klaus felt the bracelet go warm then suddenly an overwhelming urge to sit down hit him, he couldnt stop it, he pulled the chair out and sat in it. Eiri looked worried. Klaus said nothing as he sat there, staring up at Robert.
"Right then boys, I have a few locations I'd like you to check out." he handed a list of addresses to Eiri "There is a large amount of shadow activity, we fear that a very powerful shadow is rallying them. Klaus, go to each location and bring me back a sample of the soil there, if you see a shadow do everything that you can to capture it. Ok?"
Klaus felt the sting of the bracelet. He ground his teeth, but said nothing.
"Tell me that you understand, Klaus."
It stung again, "I understand."

They were outside, heading to the first location, Klaus was being unusually moody and Eiri walked slightly behind him, the first location was a large park with a play area.

Kaia woke to the sunlight filtering through her window, her reaction to it was a quiet moan as she rolled over, pulling the pillow round with her to block out the worst of the light. She felt a light throbbing in her head, which either meant she'd hurt her head or she'd drunk too much. She didn't know alcohol gave her funky dreams though, about boys with bright blue hair and golden eyes attacking people and carrying her home.
Moving round a little more, she felt a sharp dig in her side, curiosity making her lift her oversized shirt to see a patch on her side. Had she fallen over? She didn't remember that, didn't really remember much - weird dream though.
She dragged her phone from the beside table, peering at it through barely open eyes. 10:30am.
"OH MY GOD!" She almost fell out of bed with shock at the time. She can't believe she didn't set an alarm. "Gonna be late!" She scrambled out of bed, opening up her wardrobe and throwing clothes onto the bed. She jumped in and out the shower in the quickest time possible. Straightened her hair, fluffed it up, hairspray and a clip-in bow on the side. Little bit of eyeliner and mascara and a touch of pink lipgloss.
Before long she was rushing out of her house, clad in her cafe uniform - a light pink skirt, reaching a few inches above the knee with a few layers of lace underneath to give it a little bit of volume. A black short sleeved button up shirt with an open collar was tight against her small frame, little matching black pumps on her feet. It was warm enough not to need tights anymore - plus there wasn't the time to be dealing with that. Her small black messenger bag with all the essentials was slung across her torso, and now she was rushing down the roads to get to work.
If she stood any chance of getting to the cafe in the least possible time, she was going to have to cut through the park - there was no way of avoiding it. She had always been advised not to cut through the park, especially at night. She figured that she would be fine seeing as it was daytime. As soon as she got in, she was definitely going to take some painkillers, all this rushing around was starting to hurt her head even more than the hangover brought on.

Klaus crouched down by the play area and scooped a test tube of dirt up. He corked it then handed it to Eiri, he straightened up "Where's the next location?" he didn't even look at Eiri. Eiri stayed quiet, he didn't like to talk to Klaus when he was like this. Instead he held out the locations, Klaus snatched them from him and looked down at them. He scanned the page. "This is going to take all day." he grumbled. Eiri frowned, "And it doesn't help that you aren't talking to me." Eiri shrugged.
"It doesn't help that you are being a moody git."
Klaus looked like he was going to hit him. "let's just get on."
"Klaus if you talk to me about this we can work it out we always do."
"This? What exactly does this mean to you?" He held his arm up, showing the bracelet, "This means nothing to you."
"You are my brother, what effects you effects me."
"Shut up." Klaus fumed, he threw the vile of soil at the ground where it smashed. "You have no idea." He turned away, angry that he had been so stupid, angry at Eiri for being so calm. Angry because as soon as he smashed the vile he was reminded with a sting from the bracelet that he needed to collect another.
Eiri moved forward slowly and reached into Klaus' blazer and pulled out another vile he filled it with soil then corked it and handed it to Klaus. "I'll do everything he tells you to do." he promised, "So you dont have to." Eiri smiled as Klaus pulled him into a tight hug.

Kaia was a little out of breath by the time she got to the park, and she was still about twenty minutes away from work. Today was not going to be the best day. She should've just called in sick. If she didn't need the money, then she probably would have done. But she needed every penny she could get, so she would just have to suffer. At least tomorrow she could just chillax. Days off were the best.
She took her time going through the park, allowing herself to catch some of her breath back as she wandered along the paths. Children rushed around the grass, with footballs frisbees, or just chasing after eachother. Dogs were rushing round with their owners as well. It was a pretty nice day, so she wasn't too surprised that the park was pretty bustling even at this pretty early time of day.
She remembered coming here with her parents and her older brother when she was younger, remembering the games they used to play around the the swings and slides. Her gaze wandered across the place as she remembered it all quite well, though she paused as she saw two strangely familiar people by the play area. Bright blue hair - a shade that surely could not be natural, though she knew of no company that produced a dye as bright as that.
The same colour hair as those in her dream.
Her bright blue eyes widened slightly as she could see the flash of golden eyes as one looked over the other's shoulder as they hugged. Exactly like in the dream.
Everything from last night flashed before her eyes, Tommy, the attack, those two saving her, carrying her home. She was frozen still on the spot as she remembered it all so suddenly.

They pulled apart, smiling at each other and Eiri saw the familiar mischief in Klaus's eyes as he checked the list. "The next place looks a bit more interesting." he said, "It's a house in the back streets," Back streets were a little more out of the way so there were a lot of things that could happen, plus they could let themselves go a little more, around humans they had to be so restrained.
"Well let's go then." Eiri linked his arm through Klaus's happy that he seemed to be back to normal. They walked out of the park and into a main street on the other side of the park, Klaus pulled away from Eiri then and Eiri fell behind him a little. There were a lot of people on the street so he kept his head down, hair falling into his face as he let Klaus take the lead. He paused for a moment and looked back into the park as he felt as if someone was watching him. Then again a lot of people were watching them, boys with blue hair often attracted a lot of attention.
"Eiri?" Klaus questioned, he looked to Klaus and then stepped up to his side. Klaus smiled at him as they turned into the back street.

Kaia was somewhat glad that they had no spotted her. Though she guessed that it was probably harder for them to pick her out of a crowd than it was to find them. She swallowed hard as they began to walk to the other side of the park, seemingly having better things to do than hang around in a park. She felt the urge to follow them, see where they were going. Perhaps if she 'ran into them' again, there would be more of a conversation between them and she might've even got to know the name of her rescuers. That would've been nice enough, but it seemed a little too... fairytale. Though she doubted that they would think of it that way - more like stalker-ish on her part.
Plus, if she was anymore late to work, then there was no chance of her making up the time tonight. She already planned to make up her hours tonight rather than leaving them for another day.
Shaking her head lightly, she forced herself to keep walking. She refused to let herself wander off course just because of a strange situation the night before. She couldn't help but think it strange how Tommy disappeared like that though. She remembered them saying that he'd just left her, but why would they just throw him away when he'd attacked her? She was sure that something had happened to him, something more than just walking away.
Stop it!
She demanded that she stopped stressing about this, it was only going to make work drag on for even longer than it was already going to do.
Eventually, she did make it to the little cafe, creatively called Cafe Londres by her less than imaginative boss. Though it was a nice enough place, with enough business to keep her in work, so she didn't complain.
"Sorry I'm late..." She called as she rushed behind the counter, hanging up her bag and pulling off the little white apron from the hooks in the little space behind the actual cafe. "I forgot to set an alarm." She wouldn't lie about it, no point.
"Just don't make it a habit, Kaia." Her boss, Iliana, replied. Iliana was italian looking, with the accent to go with it. She was tall, worryingly thin, with a long face and dark hair scraped back into a tight bun at the top of her head. She could finally move away from the counter now that she had staff there. "I have other things to deal with, Kaia. You'll be fine on your own, right?"
"Yeah, I've got it all under control." Kaia said, putting the best smile she had on her face, reassuring Iliana that all was well enough for her to leave.

"I have other things to deal with, Kaia. You'll be fine on your own, right?"
"Yeah, I've got it all under control." Kaia said, putting the best smile she had on her face, reassuring Iliana that all was well enough for her to leave.
OOC Notes
They came out of the back streets with two more samples, Klaus really not understanding exactly what the point in them was. Sure you could collect information on shadows through the soil they have touched but surely Robert already knew where they were? Then again that might just be it, maybe this new threat had not yet been detected, maybe the shadows involved had left no trace at the scenes of crime. That made him shudder, scary really. They had to walk back through the park to get to the next location, they came out onto a different street, Eiri walking along side Klaus now as he was feeling confident.
"Eiri, maybe we should take a break." Klaus suggested, it was midday, they had three of the eight needed samples and Klaus had spied a nice looking cafe, he suddenly fancied tea and a muffin. It was called Cafe Londres, which didn't sound very original but oh well. Tea cravings had hit. They entered together, glancing around Klaus noticed that he recieved a few strange looks but that wasn't unordinary. He asked Eiri what he wanted then sent him off to settle at a small round table by the window. Eiri had no hope of actually ordering anything.
Klaus sauntered up to the server and stared up at the menu, without looking at the person serving him he ordered, moving from looking to the menu to looking through his wallet and picking out the money. "Cup of tea, double chocolate muffin, milk and do you do cookies?" he had a ten pound note in his hand now and finally he looked at the server.
