Factions, Families, Clans, and Empires
27 years old, 6'3", muscular, slightly pale. Blonde hair that goes a little passed his ears.
Cocky, arrogant. He's pretty much a loner, but comes to realize he needs people.
pocket knife, usually whisky, guns...
He woke up with a start, sweat on his face. For a few moments he laid in bed, rubbing his temples. It was only a dream He stumbled out of bed and walked to the bathroom. After sprinkling some water over his face, he looked in the mirror at his pale skin. His midnight blue eyes looked dark and distant and his blonde hair was tousled on his head. It was at this moment that he heard a load buzzing noise outside his window. He groaned, put on a t-shirt, and ran out into the sun.
A guy with brownish black hair was holding a leaf blower on the ground. "Phil? What the... what the hell are you doing?" Cam asked, breathless and grumpily.
"Huh?" Phil yelled. He turned off the leaf blower and turned to Cam. "I'm blowing leaves."
"It's July," Cam pressed.
"I just think it's kinda cool, don't you?"
"No..." Cam responded as he headed back into his home in Blueridge.
"You look like shit," Brian said as Cam re-entered the house. Brian sat at the island counter in the kitchen. He had a cup of coffee in front of him and a news paper. His bright blue eyes looked as if searching for something.
"Yeah? What else is new?" Cam began making his way back to his room.
"Wait," Brian called after him. He set down his cup of coffee, folded the news paper and walked to Cameron. "Koko wants to have a dinner later."
"That sounds erotic. let me know how that goes."
"I was hoping you could come with," Brian nodded.
"Sorry..." Cam turned and made his way up the stairs. "I'm taking a trip to the city today."
A honk sounded outside just as Cam had jumped out of the shower. He quickly stumbled to his closet where he found a black t-shirt and pants. He opened his front door to find Tony in a red G6 with dark sunglasses on. He honked the horn once more.
"I surrender," Cam put his hands up. He jumped in the seat next to Tony. "And I thought I was going to drive.
"This baby? Never." Tony laughed. He put the car into drive and drove away from Blueridge. "So, any ideas as to what we're doing?" Tony asked.
"I was thinking we could go to a rest stop and get one of those travel brochures. Should be some neat activities in there," Cam answered, looking out the window at the bridge ahead.
"Hell, no. We're getting wasted, my friend." Cam laughed.
"It's 11, Cam."
"But seriously, Cam, where are we going?" Tony asked, looking up at the city through his windshield. "I gotta know where to drive."
"Find a bar or something," Cam waved him off.
"Right... I'll just look for the big red X." Tony continued driving through the city. His eyes caught sight of a place called 'The Dagger'. "How about this place? Maybe they serve burgers too."
"Burgers, yeah. That's what I drove 20 miles for on a Saturday morning."
Tony Parked, payed the meter, and made his way towards the building followed by Cam who already seemed like he had a hangover. They entered the building, looking all around.
"Where do we sit?" Tony asked.
Cameron stifled a laugh, and continued grinning. "Table for two," Tony nodded.
"And do you have a happy hour special by chance?" Cam added in.
"I'll have boilermaker, extra whiskey," Cam said after a moment of thought. He rubbed his temples once more.
"Ugh... I'll just have a burger or whatever food you guys serve. A little to early for me," Tony nodded with a smile.
"A bartender with morals, what do you know?" Cam scratched the back of his head. He saw Tony at the corner of his eye making faces at him. stop Tony mouthed. Cam just rolled his eyes. "I'm a whiskey guy, what can I say."
Both Cam and Tony turned to view the woman coming down the stairs. Tony stopped mid-bite and Cam downed a drink and continued to stair. "Entertainment too? I'm loving this place even more," Cam laughed.
"Even the waitress is pretty," Tony agreed.
"Fuck, Tony, they're women. They're all pretty." He turned to look at the bartender. "Ugh... can I trouble you for another?"
"Mind keeping them coming, Angel?" Cam asked, taking the glass in his hand.
Tony chocked on his burger. Here he goes with the nicknames he thought to himself.
"So, what're the plans for tonight?" Tony asked Cam as he stuck a french fry in his mouth.
"Hit up the town tonight, that's what I was thinking, get wasted, buy a girl a drink or two, maybe get laid later on into the night." Cam took a swig of his drink. "You know, the usual."
Tony laughed, "Yeah, usual. We do this all the time, right?"
"We could, if you weren't such a hermit."
"Oh, I'm the hermit? When was the last time you saw the sun, Cam?"
"Wow, put away the machine gun, Capone. I'm just looking for a little fun."
Cam downed the rest of his drink. "I just want to live... for one night, you know?"
"Cam, you're gonna do something stupid and then you'll drag me into it like you always do," Tony shook his head, popping another fry in his mouth. "We've never even been to this part before. What if there isn't anything to do?"
"Tony... it's a huge city, I'm sure there's something."
"Excuse me, miss?" Tony yelled to the bartender.
"Great. She should know some hot spots..."
"You know any hot spots?" Cam asked. "You see me friend her," he nodded towards Tony, "he hasn't been laid in a really long time."
"Thanks, Cam." Tony sighed.
"Sound lovely," Cam nodded with a smile.
"No thanks," Tony shook his head. Cam turned to him, his eyebrows knitted together. "I don't need someone desperate."
"Alright... best night club. Have any of those in mind?" Cam asked, a little let down.
"Right then," Cam leaned back. "That wasn't so hard, was it?"
"Nope..." Tony Trailed off
Cam and Tony had gone back home to get a change of clothes. Phil begged to come with, but Tony and Cam refused to let him tag along. They drove out to the club, the sun setting the far west. "Ready to get laid?" Cam asked happily.
"Oh, I'm ready," Tony answered, not concentrating on what his friend had said. They parked a few blocks away from the club. The parking was packed.
"Here goes nothing," Cam smiled as he opened the door to The Dagger.
"I can't hear myself think!" Tony yelled to Cam. Cam signaled to Tony that he could hear him with a smile. He fought his way to the bar, setting his arms on the table. Tony reluctantly followed.
"Hey there," a lady next to him winked. She looked like a cougar, but Cam didn't care.
"God..." Tony trailed off.
"I won't," Cam laughed. "Not my type... Hey, Angel!" He called, recognizing the bartender from earlier.
"Well, what do you recommend?" Cam asked. He leaned on the bar across from her, Tony slowly taking a seat next to him.
Cam's eyes shot to the glass of whiskey. He half smiled. "Managed to pick out my favorite whiskey. You're good," he said, cheering to her.
"What else do you do?" Cam yelled above the crowds. Tony rolled his eyes and took out his phone. Of course he had no messages. When this usually happened, he'd text Phil 'What's up?'
"Yeah, maybe I do," Cam responded just as the bartender had turned. It was too loud to hear exactly what her and the other girl were saying. Cam shrugged and turned to Tony. "Ah... come one, Tony. Put the phone away. Text a girl, Phil can wait."
"You know, it scares me that you know so much about me," Tony said as he pocketed his phone.
"It's my business to know," Cam shrugged. " But really, look around. See if you see anyone you like... then use that business-like charm you have."
"Just like you were using your convict-like charm on miss bartender?" Tony nudged Cam in the shoulder.
"Oh, she hasn't even witnessed my charm yet."
Cam watched after the bartender as she disappeared into the crowd. "I don't know, Cam. Seems like a long shot to me," Tony said, taking a drink from his beer. (Because he randomly has a beer haha)
"What can I say," Cam half smiled as he stared into his glass of whiskey, "I have a taste for women I can't have."
"And what are you drinking? We're not watching the super bowl. Can we get some shots of vodka down here?" Cam shouted. "We'll start you off with baby steps."
"His a big guy, vodka is no match for him." Cam patted Tony on the back.
"Yeah, thanks." He picked up the glass and took the shot, his eyes squinting a little afterward. "Yummy." Cam shook his head and looked to Maya.
"So, where'd blondie go?"
