Factions, Families, Clans, and Empires
Inu is average hight, around 5'6" with bobbed white-blond hair. She is thin with strong legs and arms. Her eyes tend to change between green and an amber color. She likes wearing tight clothing but also wears things that are lose and baggy, for comfort reasons. However, she is never seen without a pair of stilettos. She keeps her claws painted red and her canines sharp. She wears a custom made engagement ring on a chain around her neck. The ring is a silver band with five stones:(from left to right) a ruby spade, sapphire diamond, diamond star, emerald club and amber heart(engraved on the inner part of the ring are the words "Be mine?") She wears this despite the fact that she and her husband split up.
Claws, fangs, swords, knives, bows, anything sharp.
We all know her story so I'm not getting into it.
Inu woke with a groan and sat up, rubbing her head. Her shoes were kicked off somewhere near the bedroom door, her jacket was thrown over the chair and she had lost one of her thigh highs in the night. She shook her head, her earring jingled softly. She stood up and stumbled to her bedroom door, opening it to find her apartment was a mess.
"What in the world happened here last night?!" She shrieked. Someone stirred and sat up from the sofa. Tallon's soft lavender hair was a mess, just like the rest of her face and Inu's apartment.
"Stop screaming." She moaned sitting forward.
After successfully regaining her memories of the party thrown the night before and waking Tallon and getting her to help clean up the mess, Inu dressed and readied herself for another exciting day in Bayville. She shook her head and slipped her arms into her beat up leather jacket-that she had stolen from her ex- and left the apartment with Tallon at her heals.
"When I get my hands on Ria I am going to ring her neck." She grumbled.
"Didn't that jacket belong to Tai at some point?" Tallon asked, avoiding the topic of Ria's death. Inu rolled her golden eyes.
"It was...like six years ago."
She pushed open the back door to "The Dagger" and hurried up the stairs. "For the record!" Tallon called after her. "You gave her permission!" Inu ignored her and followed the long narrow hallway to the stage door, where she heard music playing and Ria's musical voice calling out orders to the other dancers. She pulled open the door with a grunt and found herself on a platform, ten feet off the ground. The wrote iron banister spanned the platform and came to an end at either side where two "firemen" poles allowed access to the ground. From there, the stage jutted out into the seating area above which hung three cages.
"Angela Rianne Shadowa you got some 'splaning to do!" Inu barked, jumping from the platform. Ria turned and smiled.
"Morning Inu. So, how'd you like the party."
"That's what I'm here to talk to you about." Inu hissed. "My office. Now."
After a good tongue lashing, Inu sent Ria back on stage to run drills with the girls while she gathered her work things and headed into the lower half of the night club. Several of her workers were there, wiping down tables and cleaning dishes. Her bartenders were checking stock and readying themselves for the evening. Knowing that several of them had been there since the bar had closed at 4am, Inu took over, sending three bartenders home.
"You're feeling generous today." Inu looked up at the hispanic girl who came down the glass staircase from the offices, carrying a tray and a jar of tips.
"Not really, Maya, just avoiding Ria."
"What happened, Kitten?"
"She trashed my apartment last night with that damn party of hers." Maya shook her head.
"The party you were apart of?"
"I was already under the influence. My judgment was off."
Maya came out from the back room, a case of beer in her hands, stopping suddenly. "Gentlemen, how can we help you this morning?" She asked, stepping behind the bar. Inu turned from where she stood, fixing one a blown light bulb above the bar. She jumped down and glanced at Maya who just grinned.
"Sorry boys." Inu said, pointing to a table near the bar. "Happy hours are only on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. So, what can I get ya to drink?" Maya leaned against the bar, her back to the two and shook her head, stifling a laugh. Inu rolled her eyes.
"I'll go let Brick know in the kitchen." Maya said before disappearing behind the swinging double doors. Inu set to work on that drink. "Bit early for all this whiskey, don't you think?" she asked, circling the bar and setting the drink down on the table.
"I can tell." Inu returned to the bar and was in the middle of putting away a new bottle of Southern Comfort when she heard the upstairs doors closing. She sighed and whipped out seven shot glasses, popping open the So.Co. and pouring the shots. Maya came out of the kitchen with a tray and took the food to the table.
"Here ya go." She said, setting the burger and fries down. "Anything else I ca--" She was cut off as seven woman cam down the glass stair cases laughing and calling to each other. She sighed. "If I can get ya' anything else just let know." She said with a smile. Turning to the bar she said, "I hate rehearsal days." Inu laughed and poured an eighth shot.
"Give me thirty seconds." She called, raising her shot glass. All the girls-even Maya- mirrored her and they threw back their heads and downed the whiskey. "If you're going to be down here, you're going to work. If you don't want to work you can rehearse. Either way it benefits me and the club." She said, preparing a second drink. A couple of the girls set off to do odd jobs around the club while the rest returned to the upper portion. "How are the new girls doing?" Inu asked Ria. Ria shrugged.
"We could really use you up there tonight, Kitten."
"On a Saturday night? I don't think so. My bar is going to be packed. I think you can handle it." She delivered the drink, lifting the empty glass in her free hand. "Here ya go."
She paused. Ria turned from the bar and Maya choked on her soda.
"How in the hell..."Ria mumbled, her dark eyes finding Maya's brown ones. The brown eyed girl shrugged her shoulders. Inu just chuckled and shook her head. "Ria, pour me another shot, would ya?" She asked stepping away. /
Inu leaned against the bar and downed another shot of Soco and looked to Ria, who was giving her the puppy dog look.
"Oh please. I invented that look. I'm not coming up tonight."
"You know...you suck."
Inu looked up at the ceiling. "You're killing me, Ria. You're really killing me."
"Pleeeeeaaaassseeee?!" Ria begged. Inu grabbed the smaller girl by the arm and dragged her away from the bar and toward the glass staircase. "Killjoy...."
"Immature runt." Ria stomped up the stairs and Inu shook her head.
Inu turned from the staircase and made her way to the table, still shaking her head about Ria. "What can I do for you?"
"You know, the hookers don't really come out until around eight or so...but I could direct you to some really desperate girls. There's a whole flock of them living in my apartment building." She said, raising one eyebrow.
She laughed. "The best night club in Bayview." She set the bill down on the table with a smirk. "How bout you come back here in a few hours and you can tell me where you think the best night club is." She turned and walked away. "Maya, will you take care of the bill. I have errands to run before we open tonight."
"Sure thing, Inu.'
Inu slid into a pair of gray skinny jeans, a black tank-top and a pair of black and red chucks. She pulled her hair back and grabbed her jacket and hurried from her apartment and down the street, the two blocks to The Dagger. The club was packed with bodies and people were rushing between tables in the bar area while the the dance floor was an ocean of bumping and grinding. "You gotta love the nightlife." She laughed, making her way toward the bar. Maya looked up from making a Jager bomb and sighed.
"Took you long enough." She said, thrusting a tray in Inu's direction. "Tallon is on the floor and Ria just left for the upstairs."
"Don't you just love Saturdays?"
"No. I hate them. That goes to table seven."
Inu bolted from one table to the next, taking orders, picking up tips and avoiding those who were a bit to drunk for her liking. She switched out with Maya and took over making drinks. The bass was so intense it had her all her booze vibrating on the shelves.
Inu looked up and cocked her head slightly. She strode past on of the other bartenders and leaned against the bar, crossing her arms. "Well, well, well, look who's back. What can I get you boys this time around?"
"Personally? I'd stick to hard whiskey. It makes everything so much more...enjoyable." She reached under the bar and pulled out two glasses and a bottle of Wild Turkey. She dropped a couple ice cubes in each glass and poured the whiskey in. "Here ya go."
"I'm a bartender. It's what I do." She said with a half shrug.
Maya looked up at him, surprised. She had figured that a guy like Tony would have had woman throwing themselves at him. "Really? You've been alone that long?"
Inu raised an eyebrow and grabbed a glass off the shelf. "Here." She called, filling the glass with whiskey. "What ever it is thats on your mind, you look like you really want it to be gone. This'll help."
"Wouldn't you like to know?" Inu chuckled. She was aware of someone calling her name over the crowd, but she chose to ignore it. That is until she hear,
"ANGEL SAMANTHA-REI SUNICO! TURN AROUND!" Ria's voice rang clear above the noise of the music and the voices. Inu spun to find her friend pushing through the crowd in a black silk robe that came just to her knees. Inu reached out and grabbed Ria's hand, pulling her through the throng of people.
"What is it? What's wrong?" She asked, scanning Ria's face.
"Jan screwed up her ankle. We're down a girl and no one else knows your part like she did. We need you upstairs now." Inu groaned.
"Ang please." Ria pleaded.
"First of all," Inu snapped. "Don't call me that. I hate it when you call me that. Second off...look at my bar Ria. I can't just leave."
"The bar will be fine without you, your dancers however..." Inu hesitated. The bar was packed, but Maya and Rob seemed to be doing just fine on their own, and Tallon was flying by tables...but still.
"Alright fine." She removed her apron and threw it on her tray which she handed to a passing waitress. "Sorry boys, gotta cut this short." She mumbled. "I've got another club to save." She winked and dove into the crowd after Ria.
Maya stood behind the bar and shook her head. She would always give in when Ria pulled the act. When would that girl learn?
Inu was stripping herself of her tank top as she climbed the stairs, not caring about those who noticed and stared at her. She followed Ria down the hall to the main dressing room where all the dancers were getting ready.
"You girls are hopeless..." She said with a grin, grabbing a leather skirt.
