Factions, Families, Clans, and Empires
Tai is 6' with black hair and gold eyes. He's very well built from years of running and hunting in the mountains. He too sports claws and fangs, like most.
Depends on the day and who he's with.
His claws and fangs. He needs nothing else.
Maya sat in her living room, reading. Everything was quiet and she suppressed a yawn. Her Sundays were always long because they were the only days she could take off in the week and there never seemed like there was enough hours in the day to get everything done. She closed the book-A worn copy of "Pride and Prejudice"- and set it on the stand beside her. She closed her eyes and leaned back in her chair, curling up like a cat.
Tallon opened Inu's door and stepped back, allowing in the tall, African-American man that stood outside. His golden eyes swept the apartment before he looked at Tallon.
"Where's Inu?" He asked. Tallon shrugged her shoulders.
"I was hoping you would know, Tai."
When the alcohol finally wore off enough for her to see straight, Inu began her walk home. The streets were unusually quiet as she walked, or that is until the police cars sped passed. One. Two. Three. Four. She watched them as they drove by silently praying. "Don't turn...Don't turn....Damn it!" She cursed as the police cars turned. She sprinted down the sidewalk, running the two blocks to her Sunico Suites. The police cars and an ambulance were outside, along with Tallon, Ria and "Tai!" Inu called, sliding to a halt. "What the hell is going on?"
"Looks like there's been a shooting." Tai answered. Inu's brow furrowed.
"What?" She shook her head. "What do you mean?"
"I mean someone was shot, and by what the cops are saying...it wasn't an accident. It was a murder." Just as Tai finished, a man dressed in a suit appeared.
"Miss. Sunico?" He questioned. Inu nodded her head. "I'm Agent Young. I understand that you own this building."
"Good, I'm going to need to ask you some questions." Wonderful....
The cops didn't clear out until well into the night, leaving behind nothing but unease. Inu sat on the sidewalk in front of the building, knees drawn to her chest and her head resting in her arms. No one bothered her, not even Tai, who stood by watching her silently. She stood up silently, pulled a set of keys out of her pocket and climbed in to the red Mustang that sat at the curb.
"Where are you going?" Tai asked.
"I'm going to go wrap my car around a tree before my life can get any worse." She said, slamming her door shut she revved the engine and drove off into the dark hours of the morning.
Tai stood up slowly, covering Inu with the quilt she kept draped over the back of the couch. "Sometimes you push yourself to far, love." He murmured, kissin the side of her head before walking away. He pulled the drapes closed over the windows and cleaned up his mess in the kitchen before exiting the apartment quietly. He nearly ran head first into Ria, who was coming down the hall in a long black silk robe and black nighty. She arched her eye brow in confusion, something dark flashing in her eyes as she did. Jealousy? Tai chuckled. "Good morning my lovely." He grinned, draping his arm over Ria's shoulders.
"Morning. Uh...what's going on?"
"I was just making sure she was ok. She's asleep on the couch if you want to check." Ria shook her head and shuffled through the mail she carried in her hands.
Ria leaned against the bar, crossing her pale arms over the sleek wood. "What are you looking at, anyway?" She questioned.
"Bank statements." Inu said, rolling the pen from one side of her mouth to the other. "I'm trying to figure out where $25,000 went." Ria's eyes widened but Inu said nothing more. She gathered the papers up and sighed, laying across the bar. "I'm going to lose my club and then...my mind."
"Hate to brake it to ya' kitten, but you're minds already bit the dust." Inu's golden eyes found Tai's as he walked across the bar floor.
"Bite me Tai."
"When and where?"
Inu forced a smile and pocketed the money. "You generosity is appreciated." She mumbled. "If you need anything I'll be at the bar." She hurried away, thundering down the glass stairs with shiver. "Alright, excuse me while I go take an acidic shower." She muttered as she walked up to the bar. Tai wrapped an arm around her waist and pulled her close.
"She makes me want to run and hide." Inu shivered. "I seriously feel like I need to take a shower."
"Mind if I join." Inu laughed.
