Maggie, while no where near the fair and awe inspiring beauty her sister is, has a certain prettiness to her, and would not be considered plain. She is of average height at 5'6, and has long dark brown hair usually tied back in a neat braid that falls to the middle of her back. She has brown eyes that are only a few shades lighter than her hair, with dark brows and a pert feminine nose. Unlike her sister, Maggie prefers more simple clothing in understated colors and tones. She is also impeccably tidy, and is generally a very cleanly person. At twenty six, Maggie has lost any girlish features, and very much has a woman's physique.
Maggie is considered somewhat of a spinster, at twenty six without a husband she has long since been shelved from the marriage market, but she hardly cares, having always been far too independent for the restricting constrains of marriage. She is also very businesslike, having always had a talent for the craft from her father, and can be at times rather bossy. She is also not very good at taking orders from other people, and will often simply do as she pleases if she does not agree with another's argument. Her one soft spot is her family, her niece and nephews in particular, and is generally very warm and affectionate with them. She can also have a rather wonderful sense of humor when in intelligent company, though some people who don't know her well don't always get her quips. Maggie also has a temper, and when riled, she has been compared to a wild raging gryphon.
Witts, a sharp tongue, and her brother-in-laws vast business resources.
Maggie is the younger of Jonathon Thimbleton's, a successful business man heavily involved in trade, two daughters. She grew up with her sister Amy in a middle class home in the country of Elmdelem. She had a fairly normal childhood up to when she and her sister (who was only a year older) entered the late teens. Her mother, Elizabeth Thimbleton died before she and Amy entered their first season, leaving the aukward transition from child to woman for the girls to sort out for themselves. Amy, who was graced with her mothers delicate powder blond hair, blue eyes, and graceful features, took to womanhood (and her flocks of male suitors) like a swan, and married after only two seasons. Maggie however, was far less comfortable with the setting, and often overshadowed by her sister, found little enjoyment to be found in the grand parties of the social whorl.
Luckily, after Amy's marriage, Maggie did not have to endure any additional seasons, and moved in with her sister and brother-in-law at his family home. Oddly enough, Amy did not marry a man from Elmdelem, but from Usttor. Aaron Cameron, Amy's husband, was a red haired giant of a man with piercing blue eyes and a devilish sense of humor and a knack for charming people's socks off. They had a whorl wind romance that ended in elopement. Aaron also was the heir to his family's vast business empire, owning a great many stores and shops selling anything from common goods to fine china and jewelry. Maggie, hungry for a real job, started helping with the management of the business, and he was glad to have her. Maggie soon proved highly adept at business dealings, perhaps even more so than Aaron, and they both have formed a kind of partnership in running the businesses; Maggie with the natural talent and tenacity, and Aaron with the old connections and people skills. The result had been Cameron Trading Company has expanded to four nations, and that they having become a powerful name in the trade world.
