He had to admit that he was rather disappointed at the lack of running and screaming, but you couldn't have everything. Besides, this was proving to be most enjoyable.

Kellyn felt the wall seem to vibrate behind her and she struggled to keep standing and having her knees fall out beneath her. He could kill her he said. But he also said he wouldn't because it would be no fun. At this point she pretty much believed anything that he said since all this was pretty much as imaginable as it gets. She tried to straighten herself up a little bit but it made the pretty much touching when she moved off the wall at all. Instead she made contact with his eyes for as long as she could and said in the harshest tone she could make at the moment, "You could back up for starters." She didn't squeak and she was glad. But she found that her eye contact fell astray after she finished her statement. She made sure to not change her expression though.

Valentine only laughed, exposing rows of razor-sharp teeth. "Oh, so that's how it's going to be, is it?" he asked, stepping away, but blocking the entrance with one of his wings. "Well, I suppose I'll acquiesce to your wishes now, won't I?"
He figured that, as long as his wing was in place, she couldn't go anywhere.

Valentine saw her go for the light, and thought fast. The light was dangerous to him; his powers were heavily reduced if exposed to it directly. But killing her would ruin his fun, and he couldn't teleport out fast enough. Therefore, he did the one thing he could; he switched back to human form. His wings retracted, and the darkness around him disappeared as the lights turned on. He pretended to look around, bewildered.
"Wait, what the hell am I doing in here?" he asked, feigning shock.

Kellyn looked at him as normal Valentine and just stared for a second. The she slid down the wall, putting her head in her hands. What the hell just happened? It was impossible to think anything other than what had to of happened. He really was a demon, but it was to much to believe. How long had she even been down here? Probably thirty minutes or so, but she had all that happen in half the time she had to stay down here. This light wasn't enough to make her feel safer. She wouldn't even look at Valentine, even for the slightest chance that he wasn't a human. But she managed to say, "What the hell are you doing here? What the hell just happened!?" Her hands were shaking slightly but she made them stay still. You aren't supposed to show negative emotions to anybody, especially not in these situations.
