Description

Age: 29
Race: Satyr
Physical Description: This satyr stands tall and displays a confident, casual posture. His skin is tanned a rich beige. If one were to remove his glamour, horns, hooves, and legs furred in black would be revealed. His mottled green eyes possess an unusual brightness despite their dark color. Lines are somewhat evident on his face, but it is more with laughter and naturally deep features than age. Thick, wavy, black hair just reaches his shoulders and is almost always tied back.
Powers and Abilities: Marlow can cast a glamour on himself as well as some other rudimentary illusions.
Profession: Co-owner of the Café Enchanté
Any Other Info: Marlow is the older brother of Morris Gray, and despite the obvious differences between the two, there is a family resemblance.

Personality

In a word, Marlow is celebratory. Good food, good wine, and good companions (not to mention a good arm ornament or two of either gender) are his passions. The cafe, being an opportunity to provide all three of these pleasures, appeals to him. To be fair, he does put a lot of time and effort into his work. He jokes that he's secretly married "Ms. E." Still, he does make sure to find the time to relax. He's very talkative; in fact, he could likely drive someone mad if he were shut in a room with them for an extended period. Also, he tends to stick his nose into things, but he does know when to take a hint - usually.

History

Marlow has had about as normal a life as a supernatural being can expect. His family, lacking much magic or cunning, tends to do things as humans do, and Marlow is no exception. He went to business school and upon graduation scrimped and saved, dreaming of the day he would own his own business. Eventually he met some like-minded friends and, pooling their resources, they opened Café Enchanté when the time was ripe. That was when Marlow was 27, and it's done well for him thus far.

When Morris, Marlow's younger brother, began college, he moved in with Marlow to be closer to the campus. Now Morris has graduated, but the younger brother has yet to find a career in his field, so Marlow continues to house him.
