Raiden Kuroki

The sound of Raiden's boots echoed in the metallic halls of Easter's new headquarters.

"Raiden~ please calm down," a tiny voice cried out near him.

Raiden scowled at the guardian character flitting about frivolously in the air, "Quiet, Monster," he flicked his small guardian away, "I'm fine."

Monster tugged desperately on Raiden's finger, tears flowing from his large eyes, "No, Raiden~! You're still mad about this morning, aren't you? I'm sorry! Monster's very, very sorry~!"

Raiden stopped walking, his long coat swirling behind him, and sighed, "Monster..."
He lifted up the pouting, wolf-like creature to his eye-level, "I'm not mad about the cookies. I don't care if you ate them all. I told you already that I don't even like raisins."

Monster's furry, white ears perked up, "Then... you forgive me?"

Raiden face-palmed as he started walking again, "Monster, I wasn't mad at you. I was mad at Uncle."

"But I'm fine now," he quickly added after noticing Monster's worried expression, "I understand what Uncle was saying now. I'm not ready. Easter has a plan, and it would only get messed up if a low-ranking employee like me learned what it was... even if I am the boss's nephew."

"Oh~" Monster rested contentedly on Raiden's shoulder, "no wonder you were grumpy~! You hate being left outta stuff 'cause yer not important enough!"

Embarrassed, Raiden glared at his guardian character, who laughed nervously in response, "Ehe~ so, what're we doin' today, Raiden~?"

The silver-haired teenage boy raised his eyebrow, "The same thing we do every day, Monster. Collect X-eggs."

Yuuki exited the dance studio while smiling. It had been a refreshing lesson eve if she knew her body would ache a little bit tomorrow. She hummed a small piece of the music that had been played today and smiled as Kirari came flying on her broomstick to fly right above Yuuki's right shoulder. Chou was sitting on her left shoulder. The black-haired guardian character was waving at all the passíng butterflies and once in a whil she looked at Yuuki. Yuuki smiled gently and took out her cellphone. She flipped it open, turned it off and placed it by her ear. When she did this, she could talk to her guardian characters without it looking like she was talking to herself like a crazy person. "So, what to you guy want to do today?" she asked and smiled. "Wanna go to the park, or go shopping or something like that?" she asked and looked to the two guardian characters.

Chou, the black-haired butterfly-girl, was shy but she had a quiet grace about it. She didn't really speak much and was much more in synch with nature than withother people and guardian characters. Yuuki had wished to have a quiet grace about her shy nature, but she always just ended up being clumsey and become a laughing stock. The there was Kirari, the pink-haired witch. She was not shy at all. She was loud, outgoing and tempered. She always knew what to say and she never backed down from anything or let anyone push her around. Yuuki smiled and heaved a light sigh. Again, something she would want to be. Yuuki blinked and snapped out of her train of thoughts to listen to what her 2 guardian characters had to say. Chou was pointing at butterflies and Kirari smiled. "Me and Chou wanna go to the park"

Yuuki smiled gently. "Okay, then we're going to the park, but no funny buisness. I don't want trouble, okay?" She said and smiled. The 2 guardian characters nodded and together the 3 of them walkd to the park. They found a quiet spot in the crowded park filled with children playing, couples taking a romantic walk and people walking their dogs. Chou floated from Yuuki's shoulder down to the soft grass. She sat down and looked at some flowers where a couple of butterflies were sitting. Kirari was looking at Yuuki and suddenly asked. "Yuuki, why are you ot more serious about dancing? You're good at it" Yuuki smiled. "It's just not my big thing. It's something I enjoy doing, but I'm not passionate about it. It's just something I do to have something inn my free-time, nothing else" Kirari sighed. "Well, maybe you could have a new guardan character" Yuuki smiled. "I already have you two. I don't need anymore than that" she said and relaxed in the grass enjoying the sunshine.

A sad tune was heard outside, and it came from a huge group of people, no what was in the middle was the source.It was a girl with long dark blue hair and she was in a white sun dress. She was playing a violin quiet well, and people seemed to group up around her to listen.

People threw in coins and bills into the violin case, the case was black and had a small name engraved into it, "Mitsuki". After the tune ended, the group begin to leave, and she begin to pack up. Slinging the case over her shoulder, Mitsuki started to walk down the streets, counting the money. 2 small charas floated to her shoulder. One had cat ears, tail, and a blue loose pony tail. the other one had long black hair, but the hair looked like feathers, and she had two small pairs of wings. "You did good Mitsuki-chan!" The bird chara said. "mhm-nya.." The other said rather quietly. Mitsuki smiled softly, "Thanks Tsubasa, Kuro ill get you things later.." They both cheered.

What she earned was a decent amount maybe more then decent. Mitsuki placed the money in a small wallet, then continue down the street to a huge building. Going up some step a sign appeared in her view. Ignoring it, she walked in and looked around. No one was in she assumed but chit chatting hit her ears.

Going toward the noise, Mitsuki saw white hair and a small white haired chara. Not feeling for the mood to talk to them, she just left to find another place she can play for, because Easter was not the place she wanted to be. Tsubasa seemed to be curios and ask "Mitsuki-chan why didnt you talk to them?" Kuro answered for her, "Because she is not comfortable around them..baka-nya.." The two begin to fight, Mitsuki begin to laugh quietly. how i love them..

A young man was splayed over his bed, looking blankly up and the barren ceiling above him. Although the rest of him didn't move, his pupils looked out of the corner of his eyes to the left. Those brown orbs locked onto a dark grey egg-shaped object. Tsuneni.... He recalled for what must have been the millionth time the only and apparently last words Nashi's first chara has left him.

"My name is Tsuneni... I thought that you were ready... but you don't believe in me... Kesshite... he's your real chara... goodbye Nashi..."

The young man sat up, pushing the words out of his head. They're nonsense... from a nonsense chara... Nashi held Tsuneni's egg in one hand.

"What Gaurdian Character would abandon their kid...?" he whispered softly to the egg.

Kesshite's yellow eye's flashed. He hated it when Nashi forgot about him. Did he abandon Nashi? No. Did he refuse to come out of his egg? No. And did he have the gall to hide behind an X? No! Kesshite swooped in front of Nashi's face, effectively blocking his view of Tsuneni's egg. The chara snickered. "Obviously Tsuneni!" Kesshite pushed the dark grey egg off of Nashi's hand and tugged on his index finger.

"C'mon Nashi, I'm boooooooored! This isn't like you! Usually we would be outside doing stuff! C'moooooooooooon!" Nashi gave his quirky half-smile. "Your right. This is boring." He yawned and stretched comically. "Ah... I guess I'm still a bit tired from our last Character Transformation..." Kesshite grinned. "That punk didn't see us coming! These southern people are so soft!" Nashi's smile widened. It was so nice to be in a place where police didn't pull out their batons out as soon as you showed up. Nashi had only just moved down here on Easter's orders. Apparently the nearby school had an club called the 'Gaurdians' that had a history of making trouble and Easter wanted another man on the job. Nobody here knew what to expect....

"NASHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII!!!! I'M BOR-" Nashi grabbed Kesshite, effectively shutting up the little chara. "I know. I'm going." Kesshite knew not to push it Nashi got 'the look' on his face. The Easter Employee began buttoning up his signature white shirt that had previously hung loosely around him. Kesshite waited patiently as his Nashi tugged on his black blazer and shoes. With that done, Nashi left his apartment building at a brisk pace. Another good part of working for Easter- they pay for lodgings.

It was satisfyingly dark outside when Nashi stepped outside, breathing in the fresh clean air. Now... what trouble can I stir up tonight....? Nashi looked around the street. So many opportunities for mischief! Nobody here was watching him suspiciously! Lovely! Simply lovely! Nashi had the look of a child with a huge mount of presents before him. He was torn between all these options that now lay to perfectly around him when he remembered. It was like a punch in the gut. He punched the wall. "Awwww man!"

Kesshite looked worried. "Nashi! What's wrong!?" Nashi rubbed his fist. "I still have to do my stupid quota...."

"Eh! No way! Your still recovering from yesterday!"

"Kesshite, I have a daily quota. I haven't used Toxic Genesis here, so there are no X-eggs everywhere like there is back home." Nashi looked annoyed. Toxic Genesis took time to develop on a kid. Nashi wouldn't be able to collect them till a few days, and that would lower his funds drastically. Of course. a normal easter employee would just Character Transform and do whatever they do to get the X-eggs.

A brilliant idea struck Kesshite. two birds with one stone. "Nashi! You could give them Tsuneni! Sense he is a Shugo Chara and an X-egg, he'll be enough to cover your quota until Toxic Genesis works!"

Nashi's bangs covered his eyes. "I can't do that."

"But whhhhhy!?"

Nashi snatched Kessite from the air, and whispered ferociously to him with barely contained rage. "Because he's mine, stupid! I wouldn't give you, him, or anything that's mine to anybody! And that includes Easter!" Nashi threw Kesshite away from him with disgust on his face. "Jeez... how the heck am I supposed to find an X-egg!"

Kesshite flew back to Nashi with a desperate look on his face. "Nuuuuuuuuuh! Nashi! I-I'm sorry! I-i can sense X-eggs!" Nashi turned to Kesshite. "Really?" Then backed away with suspicion flooding his expression. "Then how come you didn't tell me!?"

"All chara's can! It's just that we never needed it before!" Nashi narrowed his eyes. "Are you sure?" Kesshite nodded. "Fine. Let's go."

As she walked down the street, she heard someone calling her name.

“Yamiko…Yamiko!”

She turns around to see her brother Shoichi calling for her. Shoichi was wearing his usual black coat with his long black hair covering his forehead and parts of his eyes, but she could see his dark circles.

“O nīsan, what is it?” She asked worriedly. Then before he could answer her, someone rushed past Shoichi, bumping into him.

“HEY WATCH IT!” she yells. Then the person ran off.

“Yamiko, I was wondering if you and the Dreaded Thorn would like to work with Easter on a gig.”

Wakumi and Hoshi told her that Easter was evil but that would mean that her brother was evil too, which Yamiko refused to believe, because ever since her parents went missing her only real family has been her brothers.

“Um… Sure I guess that would be great, I still have to ask them, but are you sure Easter wants Dreaded Thorn?!”

Dreaded Thorn was my band. The band involves me as the Singer, Kazuhiro on the bass, Kazuki, Kazuhiro’s younger brother, on the drums, and my boyfriend Zeke on the electric guitar, though I'm not quite sure if he still counts me as his girlfriend.

“Yes, well I hope you’ll think about it.” He walks away.

“Keiko. Keiko. KEIKO!” Yelled a small mean voice. Keiko flew from her bed in shock. She saw her two little shugo charas, Maria and Yume, floating in front of her. “Maria, what is it?” Keiko said with a yawn and robbing her eyes from exhaustion.

“Maria wanted to wake you up because you’re going to be late for school.” The little witch named Yume said in her shy quiet voice.“What?!” Keiko jumped out of her bed. She grabbed her school uniform and put them on. When she ran out of room she tripped on something then faceplanted the hard wooden floor.

“Eh..? Keiko! What are you doing?” She the blonde girl with her foot far out in the hall. She started to rub her foot and stared at Keiko. “Oh nothing, except tripping over your foot, Lei!” Keiko yelled to the the other girl “Sorry!” Lei said shrugging her shoulders.

“Keiko what are you doing on the ground? Both of you come down mom and I made breakfast.” A third blonde girl in a scarf said to the two that were yelling at eachother. Keiko and Lei walked down the stairs to the dinning room. The pushed eachother and kicked eachother's feet.

“Glad you got up Keiko.”Papa said sarcastically. “Kyoko and your mother made breakfast.” The blonde man in a blue suit said with a grin.

Keiko didn't stop to eat. She just grabbed her bag and put her shoes on. “Bye mother, bye papa.” She ran out of the house with a piece of toast in her mouth.

“She left and we made a big breakfast for her." Kyoko said with a frustrated sigh and started to speak. "Well I’m off too.”

Keiko ran as fast as she could to school. Her golden hair flowed back. She tried to avoid the other people on the street. “Keiko-Chan why are you running so fast?” Yume said with her little pink witch hat covering her face. “I have to meet up with Kenji-Kun up ahead. I promised I would.” Keiko said to Yume taking a big breath as she spoke. Keiko ran through a crowd trying not to hit anyone. Despite her efforts she bumped into a guy and a girl. “Oh, sorry!” she heard one of them say 'HEY WATCH IT!' Keiko just kept running.

She finally caught up to Kenji. A boy in the male uniform and brown hair that went straight down past his glasses looked up to her. “Hey Keiko, your late.” The serious boy said to her in annoyed tone. “Sorry I’m late. I had a little trouble with the crowd... and reading.” Keiko put her hand on her head and made a small laugh. Kenji grinned then covered his mouth with his hand. “Next time you’re late, make a better excuse and stop watching the anime.” Kenji knew she would always stay up untill 3:00 am reading and watching that stuff.

During Class

In class she sits next to one of her friends Emi. Keiko was still pretty tried during the class.

“Keiko, I have a good test grade.”

“You do? That is really awesome.”

Emi held her test to Keiko. In big red letters was a D- .

“That isn’t good. It’s a D.”

“I get F’s all the times. Hey I take what I get. You got a C- . Sorry.”

“What! Eh. Mother is going to be so mad.”

“You should study and not read manga. Kenji told me.”

Keiko’s friend Adam Kawano walked up to her.

“Hey Keiko, do you want to go to the mall with some friends?”

“Sure can Emi come with us?”

“If she wants to.”

When she was walking out of the classroom Maria and Yume came out of her bag.

“Eh! Keiko I didn’t think of you as the cheater type. I’m proud.”

“Keiko don’t believe Maria, she is a devil. DON’T CHEAT ON KENJI-KUN!”

“Yume, Maria, I’m not going on a date with him. We are going with Emi-Chan. Besides Kawano is just a friend.”

“Sure, you say that now but not when you tell Emi to leave and start kissing. Hehehe!”

“Maria, Yume that’s enough!”

Keiko was walking down the street and saw two guys from school being mean to a kid.

“Hey, you didn’t buy us our lunches. So give us the money now!”

“I’ll do it tomorrow. I promise!”

“I didn’t know there were bullies at the school.”

“Keiko – Chan we have to help him.”

“Yume, I got it.”

Maria Chara Changed with Keiko.

“Hey! Stop picking on him. Come get me instead!”

Keiko ran and the guys were after her.

“See, problem solved the kid is fine. One point for Maria.”

“BUT NOW THERE AFTER ME!!!”

“Oh sorry, minus one point for Maria.”

Keiko turned a corner then chara changed with Yume. She used the broom stick and hide on top of a nearby building.

“Phew! Next TIME DON’T DO THAT!”

Kesshite felt panic welling up inside him. Strangely, there were no X-egg in the area.... He gulped, unable to meet Nashi's expectant look. "Well....? Can you sense one? Honestly, they shouldn't be that hard to find. There were X-eggs all over the place up north."

"That was because of us, Nashi...."

"Oh yes. But does that mean you can't find one?" Stupid Kesshite, leading him on like that.

"Uhh.... yes?" Nashi formed his hand into a fist and sent it towards Kesshite's head. The chara winced, but the blow didn't come. Kesshite looked up cautiously, only to see Nashi's fist inches away from his face. Nashi smiled sadly, and resumed rubbing it. "It's... it's fine. I don't like hurting you, Kesshite." Kesshite's chin quivered. Nashi is a nice guy... he doesn't deserve to be punished for not fulfilling his quota.... Nashi continued. "I wanna be left alone for a bit... I'll just go lurk around somewhere...."

Kesshite gasped. Nashi never wanted to be alone. But there he was, heading purposely to some place. Alone. The chara floated there, stunned. And then some crazy lady on broom swooshed past him. Kesshite was angry. What gave her the right to do that!? Huh!? Didn't she know he was sad at the moment!? The chara followed her, rage allowing him to go faster than usual. Finally he found them hiding from some low-class bullies on the top a roof. Kesshite laughed inwardly. Here was his chance to vent out some frustration! And on another chara, no less! Oh so quietly, Kesshite snuck up behind the devilish chara and pinched her cheeks, pulling them into a smile. He cackled, and flew in front of her. "Hah! You don't stand a chance against me!"

Nashi sighed. He hated, hated, hated having to care about Easter and their stupid X-eggs before his own fun. He hated that they had that kind of power over him. He kicked a rock, 'accidently' hitting one of two guys running after something. They turned towards him. "Hey punk! You kicked that didn't you!?" Nashi smirked, and continued on his way. Nothing like aggravating the neighborhood bullies. They blocked his way. "I haven't seen you around, so you must be new 'round here. So we'll give you a break. Cough up your cash, say your sorry and we'll let you live." He held out his chubby hand, wagging his sausage-like fingers.

Ew.... Nashi took the guy's hand between his thumb and forefinger, moving it out of his way while trying his hardest not to touch him. "I have no idea what you are talking about, but even if I did kick a rock at you it wouldn't be personal. It's just that you two are so incredibly ugly that I probably wouldn't have been able to help myself. In fact..." Nashi bent down and plopped a rock in the guy's waiting hand. "Hit yourself with this a few times and maybe people won't kick things at you anymore. Good day."

Nashi shouldered past the bullies, leaving them in shock. He had a new spring in his step. Ah.... idiots. Nothing like them!

Mitsuki was walking down streets, followed by her charas. She was looking for a place to play, and luckily she found a perfect spot. It wasent too crowed but enough people to listen to her. Placing her case down gently, her charas unstrapped her case and opened it. Mitsuki took out the violin, taking out the bow she placed it on the strings. The two charas were seating in the case looking at her to listen to her play.

It was quiet then finally the bow slid across the strings making a loud yet gently sound. Her fingers begin to go to action and with her bow movements it created a lively song. The song was called, "Canterella" and it was quiet popular. People around her walked toward her or sat near by to listen to the fast beat song. Once in awhile as she played people tossed in money in the case and the chara started to roll around in the cash. Mitsuki continued to play, her eyes closed. The song was heard from all around her, this was the time when she didnt have to concentrate on Easter she can ber herself.

"And then I said 'Oh! You mean the chicken under his hat? It was there last week!'" Monster howled with laughter as he recited the punchline to the joke.

Raiden smiled and chuckled breathlessly, amused by his guardian character's antics.

"Wanna hear another one, Raiden?" Monster flew through the air happily. He was pleased that Raiden had found his joke humorous. "I overheard this really funny joke from this one guy who was talking to himself! It goes like thi-- Raiden? Raaaaiden~? What is it?"

Raiden had stopped walking and was looking behind himself warily, "Nothing. I just thought there was someone behind us."

Monster's ears flattened with worry, "Raiden, you're so paranoid! Lots of people work at Easter!" The wolf-like creature waved his arms frantically, "You've been paranoid a lot lately! And yer really jumpy too! Raideeeen~ what's the matter?"

"Pft," the silver-haired 17 year-old snickered at his overprotective guardian character, "I'm not paranoid, Monster. You're just being over-emotional like usual. I was just worried that that freak Nashi was behind me," he smirked, "You know how much I hate that guy."

"Haha, yeah," Monster laughed nervously, "He's scary~!"

Monster rested himself atop Raiden's shoulder, and the two left the building. They walked across the street to a nearby, somewhat crowded park. Raiden yawned. He wasn't up for a fight today. He resolved to wander the park. If an X-egg happened to jump out at him, he'd grab it. But, otherwise, he decided he didn't feel like doing Easter's dirty work right now. He scratched behind Monster's ears one last time and set off. He was off-duty.

Yuuki stretched after a while and smiled gently at her 2 guardian characters. She eventually got up and brushed of her clothes. "Come on, let's go" she said and looked at the 2 small girls. Chou floated up and sat on Yuuki's shoulder so she could hide behind Yuuki's red hair. Kirari flew around on her broomstick looking around. "Yuuki... There is a guarsian character nearby... Can we go meet it, can we can we can? Pleeeeaaase? Pretty Pleeeaaase?" the little witch said and tried to look cute. Yuuki chuckled gently. "Okay okay, easy Kirari. We can go say hello" she said and smiled. "Just don't scare them" she said and smiled as she followed Kirari towards the guardian character she could feel.

After a while of looking Kirari spotted a silver-haired boy with a guardian character by his side. "Oh... he's cuuuuuuuuute" the witch said and flew in circle all excited. Yuuki looked at the 2 males from a distance. Chou was gently pulling her hair and looked at Yuuki. Yuuki sighed. "You're nervous too?" she asked and getly patted the black-haired guardian character's head with her index-finger. "Kirari, stay close. There's something that's making both me and Chou nervous, so don't..." Yuuki looked around for Kirari and realised she had already flown over towards the 2 males to say hello. Kirari flew in and blocked off the path in front of the 2 white-haired males "Heeellooo" she flew in a loop. "My name is Kirari, the Magnificent" she said and smiled. "What are your names?" she asked and smiled as she striked a pose on her broom.

Monster flailed wildly in the air as he twirled around Raiden, singing a loud, tuneless song, "LA la la~ la LA lala laaaa~!"

"Monster," Raiden smirked, "I think you've confused singing with howling," he teased.

With a devilish grin, Monster flew right up to the boy's ear and continued screeching his song, "LA! LA! LA! LAAA~!"

"Oh, now you're gonna get it, you mutt!" Raiden spun around and dextrously caught the playful pup, "Gotcha."

Monster giggled, poking his small head out between two of Raiden's fingers, and stuck his tongue out with a tease. It was at that moment that a high-pitched voice squealed out with excitement in front of the two.

"Heeellooo! My name is Kirari, the Magnificent! What are your names?"

Monster and Raiden both looked at the bubbly shugo chara, and then back at each other. The small witch wasn't the guardian character of anyone from Easter, but she didn't seem to know that Monster was. As long as they didn't give the small creature any reason to suspect, they would be fine. Raiden smirked. He didn't feel up to a fight, but perhaps it'd be interesting if he played a little game.

Raiden released Monster from his grasp. The little wolf quickly flew behind him, clinging to the boy's silver hair with an expression of worry.

"You'll have to forgive him," Raiden began with an amused look, "my guardian character is a bit shy." He turned to coax Monster out from hiding with a whisper, "Come on, you coward. We're fine."

Monster shook his head stubbornly. The silver-haired teen sighed and began to look around suspiciously. The park was filled with people of all ages. This little witch could belong to any of the younger generation here.

"Raiden," he pointed to himself in introduction, "and this furball of cowardice back here is Monster." He held out a finger to shake hands with the posing girl, "Kirari, was it? Where's your, hm, master at?"

Kirari smiled gently. "Yuuki? Oh she's hiding in the bushes" she said carelessly and shaked Raideen's finger before she flew around on her broom giggling. "She's very very shy, so please, do excuse her. She'll come around though" the little witch said. "She and Chou thought you were giving off some sort of bad vibe or something like that. I don't though" she said. "So, Monster... What type of character are you?" she asked and smiled. "Oh, can you do a chara change? Maybe even a Character Transformation?"

Kirari started blabbering a lot while randomly flying around on her broomstick while Yuuki and Chou were watching from the bushes. "Arg, she's so careless" the redhaired human mumbled before runing out of the bushes to fetch her guardian character. She ran over and grabbed the little witch not really thinking. "Kirari, quiet" she said and eyed Raideen. She quickly blushed and felt her entire body tense up. She really was bad with people. "Oh hello... Errm... Sorry if Kirari bothered you... She has a habit of flying off on her own..." Yuuki's eyes were wandering from one place to another as she was unsure where she should look.

Shinu sighed as he entered the Easter building to recieve his orders. He ended up in a room where there was a piano. He sat down and started playing while Sasete was listening and drinking tea. "Hey Shinu... Can you play that one song that I really like?" the little guy asked and looked at his master with his big dark eyes. Shinu smiled gently. "Sure... I'm in the mood for a slow sad song anyway" he mumbled and started plaing Moonlight Sonata as he knew Sasete loved that song for some odd reason and it often fit his mood quite nicely.

Maho! Maho! MAHOOO! Hana yelled in the ear of her best friend.Maho was quietly taking notes in her note book while the teacher talked about today's lesson."I'm hungry" Hana said with a wimper." Okay, I have a snack bar in the front pocket of my back pack you can have that until lunch time" Maho said quietly so no one in her class would think she was talking to herself." Yay" Hana said with a big grin on her face. Hana flew over to Maho's back pack then grabbed the bar out of the front pocket. Then flew back over to Maho's desk where she unwrapped the bar and stuck the entire thing in her mouth." Be careful Hana don't choke." Hana swallowed the entire thing "I won't choke I'm the incredible Hana nothing can hurt me."Maho smiled gently at Hana.

The lunch time bell rang as everyone in the classroom got out of their seat. Maho closed her note as she gave a big sigh."Maho the bell rang you know what that means" Hana gave a short pause "LUNCH.""Okay,for lunch I made rice balls with shrimp inside. Maho got out of her seat, grabbed her lunch box then exited the classroom."Oh yah rice balls my favorite, Maho you're the best. Can we eat outside today?" Of coarse, Maho said with a gentle grin. As both of them exited the school they had the exact strange feeling. "Maho do you sense that, their are other guardian characters close by. Let's go check it out.

"Yuuki? Oh she's hiding in the bushes. She's very very shy, so please, do excuse her. She'll come around though. She and Chou thought you were giving off some sort of bad vibe or something like that. I don't though."

Raiden eyed the bushes nearby suspiciously. This Yuuki and Chou thought he gave a bad vibe, huh? Who was this Chou? Someone with a guardian character of her own? Or another shugo chara like Kirari and Monster? If the latter was true, and this Yuuki person had two shugo chara, then she had the potential to be extremely powerful. He needed to be careful she didn't discover his loyalties. Besides, she could be useful to Easter. This idea made Raiden smirk.

"So, Monster... What type of character are you? Oh, can you do a chara change? Maybe even a Character Transformation?"

Monster's ears perked up, and he nervously poked his furry head out to respond. Just as Monster opened his mouth to speak, Raiden quickly interrupted, "Oh, no! Nothing like that! We're just learning. I'm actually really bad at this whole 'shugo chara' thing," the teen lied with a convincing smile.

In the corner of Raiden's eye, a red-haired girl, about a year younger than him, came running out from the bushes toward them. "Kirari, quiet." The girl immediately became stiff and nervous as she looked at Raiden. What was the matter? Had she realized he was an agent of Easter? No. That couldn't be possible. "Oh hello... Errm... Sorry if Kirari bothered you... She has a habit of flying off on her own..."

Monster squeaked, tears welling up in his eyes again. He flew out from his hiding place, crying, "No~! Kirari isn't bothering us! She's nice~! And Raiden likes her too! Please don't be mad at heeer~!"

"Monster," Raiden sighed as he pat his sniffling guardian character, "you're overreacting again. Does she look mad? Silly, mutt."

"Oh~ I am?" Monster wiped away his tears, "You're not mad? Oh, I'm sorry~!!!"

Raiden, once again, face-palmed, "And don't apologize either. You haven't done anything wrong."

Monster sniffled one last time, blushing all over and embarrassed that he had overreacted in front of these strangers--especially when it was such a delicate situation. If they were to find out that Raiden and him worked at Easter, it could be disastrous.

Nashi looked down at Tsuneni's egg in his pant's pocket. Great. So why exactly did he bring this worthless lump along? No idea. Nashi frowned, pondering what to do. Tsuneni would attract other people with charas. But Tsuneni could't help Nashi against them. And he couldn't come crawling back to Kesshite, not only would that effectively kill Nashi's pride but the little brat would have already have taken off by then. Useless peice of trash! Nashi considered throwing Tsuneni's egg into a wall, but where would that get him?

The young man stuffed the egg back into his pocket, then sneezed. Was somebody talking about him? No doubt they were commenting on his dashing good looks. Nashi resumed walking glumly down the street. His day had gone from pathetic, to amazing, to more pathetic. Yaaaay. He rolled his eyes. Everybody knows wallowing self-pity fixes everything! Nashi froze. Out of the corner of his eye he could see a cute-loking girl with a shugo chara! Was she coming for him? Did that pretty head somehow know that Nashi was at he weakest and most vulnerable at this very moment? That Nashi would put her through pain itself without even blinking? Of course not.

All she saw was an -though admittedly suspicious- handsome young man with an X-egg. She would see a... victim. An unholy, wolfish smile spread across Nashi's face. Time to put on an act.... He inspected the girl. She's very cute... too cute. It was risky dealing with her type... the cute type. Her brown pigtails swung merrily as she exited what appeared to be her school. Nashi's eyes widened as he felt the presence of gaurdian characters other than hers. Powerful gaurdian characters. In fact, they overrode Tsuneni's presence completely.

So she was going towards them after all.... Nashi felt a slight pull in is chest, feeling suddenly sad and... something else. He smashed that feeling. Of course I'm sad! I was going to all this trouble to put on a show and know it's going to be ruined! Nashi covered up his strange feelings with all sorts of excuses, each one crazier than the last. Why was he feeling this way!? With a start, Nashi looked down.

Tsuneni's egg was wiggling. Nashi was devoid of thoughts and emotions, just staring blankly at the egg. It gave a small noise, and Nashi could make out a faint crack in the side of the egg. Tsuneni... is hatching...? But... he's an X-egg...? Apparently it didn't matter, because even though the wiggling stopped, the egg still had a crack. A crack! Nashi was filled with happiness. Finally! A breakthrough! (pun intended) Nashi lifted the egg close to his face, and peered inside. A flash of white, then black again. Nashi could feel Tsuneni's presence leaking through the crack, allowing other people to sense him through the power of the other shugo charas.

Nashi was suddenly filled with hope. Perhaps the girl would come over to him after all...? Hope!? Since when did I ever indulge in the use of hope!? Pathetic! And to prove his point, Nashi whirled around intending to head back and beat the daylights out of a couple idiots.

Yuuki looked at the small furry as he came out crying asking her not to bed mad. She smiled and evenually bursted out laughing. The whole situation made her laugh for some reason she couldn't explain. She got a grip of herself and smiled. "Sorry... But that was just too cute" she smiled gently but sudddenly shaked her hand. "OW!" she opened her hand revealing Kirari with her tiny teeth burried in Yuuki's pinky. The tiny witch had bitted Yuuki. "Kirari honestly..." She blushed deeply as Kirari flew away from the hand snickering. "hat's what you get for trapping me. Kirari The Magificent always find a way to escape" Kirari said and giggled.

Chou suddenly flew out from her hideout behind Yuuki's hair to help Yuuki and blow gently on the injured pinky. She sent Kirari a look that said "It was your own fault you got captured" Kirari sighed and looked down without saying a word. Yuuki smiled gently. "Thank you, Chou" she said and sighed before lookign at Raideen. "This is chou, my second guardian character. Don't worry, she never speaks" Yuuki said and smiled as the small girl tride to hide behind Yuuki's thumb.

"So... You're new with guardian characters? Ah, me too, but I can character transform with Kirari. Chou and I still can't do anything, not even a chara change, but one day we will" Yuuki said. "I just know it" she smiled and looked down. "I probably sound stupid, but I have faith in her" she said and smiled gently. Chou looked up at Yuuki and release a very faint smile before she floated up and pecked Yuuki's cheek gently. She then went back to Yuuki's hand and sat down to just looked at the events play out. Yuuki smiled gently and sighed. "So, Raideen correct? And Monster if memory serves me right. How did you two meet? I mean what was Monster born from?" she asked. "If it's okay I ask of course... You don't have to tell me, if you don't want to" Yuuki looked down and suddenly felt stupid that she had aske dthe question. Not only that but she had been bitten by her own guardian character. She was convinced she looked pathetic right now.

Shinu sighed as he finished the song on the piano. Sasete looked at him and pushed a cup of steaming tea towards his master. "Today's brew is Darjeeling" the little guy said and smiled. "I know you like that one" he said and nodded. Shinu smiled gently. "Thank you Sasete" he said and took a relaxed sip. Sasete sat down to also drink from his own cup. "Looks like it'll be aboring day today" he said. Shinu nodded. "Yeah, let's hope it stays that way" he said and looked out a window. "I don't like my job here" he said and sighed. Sasete looked at his master. "Then quit... You shouldn't have to do anything for them" Sasete said looked at his master with worry. "You can make it on your own, I know it" Shinu sighed. "Without a company to back me up, I can't" he said. "We'll find another company. Shinu come one, let's go outside and find a company that will support you and..." he was interrupted by a sharp look from Shinu. "Be quiet, Sasete. We're here now and we'll honour our end of the contract" Sasete looked down. "Yes sir" he said and took another sip of his tea.

Maho walked down the steps of her school to see a guy with dark hair." Maho that guy has a guardian character with him" Hana whispered in Maho's ear." Do you think he's part of the guardians, Hana?" Maho began to walk over to him. Maho noticed he look kind of around her age." Maho look his egg is hatching, look at what's in his hands", Hana shouted." Do you think he could be new, Hana, Maho whispered in Her ear. Maho kept walking towards him she didn't exactly know what to say to him since this was her first time talking to someone around her age, so she got a little nervous. Maho blushed a little and said to him "Is that your guardian character?"

"Is that your guardian character?" Nashi scowled and turned around slowly. "No. It's my cousin Fredrick's. Of course it's mine!" He mentally slapped himself. "Sorry...." Nashi held Tsuneni's egg out, his voice coming out softer than he intended, letting some of his affection for his chara leek. "His name is Tsuneni." Nashi smiled warmly and looked down at the girl. "He's one of two. The other one's name is Kesshite." Nashi snarled inwardly. Now why did he tell her that!? That was completely unnecessary information! "And I'm Nashi, nice to meet you." He took a step closer to her, peering at her guardian character. A pretty, if not weak-looking thing. "And who might you be?"

Nashi straightened. "Excuse me, but I'm new here. I haven't got any friends yet, so, would you like to show me around?" He hooked his arm around hers. "It'll be like a date!"

"No. It's my cousin Fredrick's. Of course it's mine!" Maho could sense she was bothering him." I am really sorry I shouldn't have asked you such a personal question, you must think I'm a total stranger" Maho said with a soft voice and gentle smile.

"Sorry...." "No it was my fault I shouldn't have came up to you so suddenly." Hana was hidding behind Maho's shoulder while she was talking to the guy.

"His name is Tsuneni."" That's a cute name for a shugo chara" Maho said in a soft tone.

"He's one of two. The other one's name is Kesshite." " That's amazing you have two shugo charas" Maho said in a soft voice.

"And I'm Nashi, nice to meet you."" I'm Maho, I go to school hear."

"And who might you be?"" This is Hana my shugo chara" Maho said in a soft voice. Hana floated in front of Nashi then turned around to Maho. " He is cute" Hana shouted. Maho blushed.

"Excuse me, but I'm new here. I haven't got any friends yet, so, would you like to show me around?" " Sure" Maho said in a gentle voice.

"It'll be like a date!" "Yeah, wait a minute what", Maho's face was so red she looked like a cherry." Ohhhh Maho got date" Hana said in a sly voice."Wait a minute you two what about lunch" Hana shouted.

The song was finished and people begin to leave again. The charas pushed all the money into a small blue pouch. Closing her case, Mitsuki picked it up from the charas. She shook it, alot of noises were heard from inside the bag. Alot of noise= alot of money. "Good.." She looked around to see no one. Turning toward the chara and begin to speck. "W-" before she can finish Tsubasa shouted. "Me!"
Kuro pouted, "oh come on.." Tsubasa giggled and looked toward Mitsuki readsy. Mitsuki took in a deep breath and spoke. "Fly, free, freedom..!"Small Black wings that had a few blue feathers popped out of her back. She jumped into the air flying with no effort. The charas follow as she begins to go higher into the sky. Mitsuki looked down and saw many people. But some people caught her eye, they had small figures floating near them. She looked closely some of them are from easter but the others she wasent sure of. "hm..." Mitsuki flew up higher as she thinks.

Nashi's cell phone jingle came on, "~A million little pieces, we've broken into~" Nashi tugged his phone out of his back pocket. Ew. Easter. "~A million little pieces, I've stolen from you!~" He considered letting the message go to voice mail, but since he wasn't going to be able to fill his quota.... "Sorry, I've gotta take this." He flipped it open. It was a text, a long one. Did he really want to take the time to read it, here and now? No way. It would make things awkward. But just incase, Nashi scrolled through the text, skimming it for anything important. Guardians... don't let them know... X-egg... quota... Toxic Genesis... spy... school... blah... blah... blah.... Nashi rolled his eyes. By the looks of it, he had no idea what the text would mean until he read it. How annoying, it was probably a complicated list of instructions that only resulted in Nashi deciding not to read it and winging it instead. Heck, it worked most of the time.

Nashi coughed, and shut his phone. What a cute name.... Nashi inwardly stabbed himself. How many times had he said cute today? Too many. Nashi looked down and returned his attention to Maho. She's blushing! Nashi blinked, caught off guard. So easily? How... how adorable! Wow. At least I didn't say cute, but it's the truth.... Well since when did Nashi care about telling the truth. He looked at the girl with narrowed eyes. Her being around... her being so cute... making him want to tell the truth... who gave her the right?

Nashi glanced at Hana, returning the sly smile. "Lunch... that would be nice. I am rather hungry." Nashi's gut told him he had to find Kesshite. And when he needs to find his guardian character, it means a fight is on the horizon. "But my other chara, he's lost... hold on." Nashi took a step back and took a deep breath. KESSHITE!!!!!! YOU GET YOUR BUT OVER HERE RIGHT NOW!!!!!! He screamed out mentally. Kesshite wouldn't be able to hear his actual thoughts, but he would sense Kesshite's desire for his return.

Kesshite gasped. Nashi was calling him back! Some sucker is in for some pain.... Kesshite flew as fast as he could, happy Nashi was finally wanting him back. He finally saw the back of his beloved Nashi's head. "NASHI!!!! I MISSED YOU!!!!" He shot straight into Nashi's gloriously soft mane of hair. Kesshite noticed a girl with a chara. "Nashi.... what's with her?" Nashi rolled his eyes. "Her name is Maho. Maho, this is Kasshite. Kesshite, her chara's name is Hana. Be nice." Kesshite frowned. Interlopers. He hated it when Nashi talked to people.... Kesshite flew up and floated directly in front of Hana, only a centimeter in between them. "Hana, huh? You don't look that strong." Kesshite turned to face Nashi. "Hey Nashi, why are you hanging around these people? We could beat them so easily! Heck, she probably can't even-" Nashi snatched Kesshite from the air with practiced ease.

"Ignore him. He gets jealous easily."

"Her name is Maho. Maho, this is Kasshite. Kesshite, her chara's name is Hana. Be nice."
"Nice to meet you kesshite" Maho said in a soft voice.

"Hana, huh? You don't look that strong."" OHH NOO, I know this boy did not just call me weak" Hana shouted."Maho you better hold me back before I kick this shugo chara's butt."Hana started to run for him, but Maho Held her back with her hand."Hana be nice their new and they don't know anyone" Maho said in a soft whisper."But Maho I'm starting to get a wierd vibe from this guy's shugo chara, I don't trust them" Hana whispered in Maho's ears." You're just saying that because he called you weak" maho said in a soft voice." Yes I am, no one calls Hana the magnificent weak" Hana shouted.

"Hey Nashi, why are you hanging around these people? We could beat them so easily! Heck, she probably can't even-". "We so can characte-" Hana yelled but before she could finish Maho gave her a sorrowful look that said please Hana this could be my first friend. Then hana shut her mouth. But, when Maho wasn't looking Hana floated over to Kesshite and said "you're going down man" Hana said in a deep voice.

"Ignore him. He gets jealous easily." "No, please forgive Hana she can be a little temper mental some times" Maho said in a soft voice. Maho felt so sorry for the way Hana acted towards him and his shugo charas." Do you still want me to show you around the school" Maho said with a sorrowful look on her face.

"You're going down man." Hana said in a deep voice. Kesshite snapped. "I'M GONNA PUT YOU THROUGH SOME PAIN!!!!!!!! NASHI LET'S GET EM!!!!!" He struggled against Nashi's grip, kicking and screaming. Kesshite didn't want to do this, but sometimes he just had to. He would force a Character Change, and if need be a Character Transformation. Nashi gave his chara the 'look', his eyes narrow and angry. He was going to kill the whole plan! Options raced through the young man's mind until he realized with a start he was Character Changed. Nashi's eyes were glowing yellow, with a very small pupil, and his mind was twisted to be more... poisonous.

"Do you still want me to show you around the school?" Nashi stepped very, very close to Maho, looking down at her as if she was a Thanksgiving dinner and he was starving. Kesshite cackled. "He's gonna kill me for this, but YOUR GONNA GET IT!!! BWAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!! YOU CAN'T STAND A-" BAM! Kesshite was knocked from the air, hit by Tsuneni's egg. "EH!?" Kesshite stared to the numerous cracks that were now running through the egg. A soft voice issued from them.

"Kesshite, you should be ashamed! Your ruining Nashi's chances of making friends with your idiotic selfishness! Now, undo the Change before I have to make you!" Keshite blinked, and an unholy smirk spread across his face. "Oh ya? I'd like to see you try! Nashi is mine, and you know he is more like me!" Tsuneni sighed. "Kesshite, can't you feel it? Deep down, Nashi really wants a friend. Now, get him away from the girl!" To punctuate his sentence, a few more cracks appeared on the egg. Kesshite laughed. "Hah! You know as well as I that you can't do anything!" In response, there was a loud POP and Nashi's eyes returned back to normal. He stumbled backward, holding his head between his hands. Nashi's eyes had black lines underneath them, and he was taking deep, shuddering breaths. "Kesshite... I'm... going to... get you... for this....." The forced Character Changes and Transformations were always the most toll-taking. Nashi was bubbling with rage, but didn't have the strength to display it.

Tsuneni turned to Hana. "And you, please don't get Kesshite riled up. His Character Changes and Transformations come a great cost to Nashi's health, and he is very good at forcing them if need be. I do not want to come out and teach anybody a lesson." Kesshite snarled. "Shut up! Your only a stupid goody-goody! Nashi doesn't need someone like you!" Tsuneni shoved him again. "Yes he does, now more than ever!" Nashi righted himself, but his eyes were still rimmed with black. "Thank you Tsuneni. Kesshite, You are a disgrace." Kesshite winced. Nashi turned back to Maho, but looked away with a pained expression on his face. Anybody who looked closely might have seen his blush.

"The fact that Kesshite... it isn't really known. Neither is Tsuneni. So, uhm, could you keep my secret?" Kesshite stared. It was rare to see Nashi so unsure of himself, and even rarer to see him blush. Nashi finally looked at Maho. "And...." He coughed. "Sorry... for acting weird.... I'll, uh, be going now...."

Just when Maho was about to say something Nashi stepped closer to her.

"He's gonna kill me for this, but YOUR GONNA GET IT!""Uhmmmm......Nashi" Maho said in a soft worried voice.

"And you, please don't get Kesshite riled up. His character changes and transformation come a great cost to Nahi's health, and he is very good at forcing them if need be." " Listen buddy you need to teach your friend some manners"Hana said in a angry voice. Hana floated right in front of Kesshite "he is the one who started it" Hana said in a mad voice.

" Thank you Tsuneni. Kesshite, You are a disgrace"" Are you okay Nashi you don't look well?" In a irritated tone Hana said "He'll be fine."

" Sorry...... for acting weird..... I'll ,uh, be going now...." "oh" Maho said in a soft voice. " I hope I can see you again Nashi" Maho said with a blushed smile.
