Description: Melissa has long dark brown hair and a tanned complection. She is very pretty and have soft brown eyes which seem to draw you in as the focal point of her face. Melissa is five foot six with a skinny frame. She is very concious of her weight and sometimes she can look just that little bit too thin.

Bio: Melissa was born on the 2nd of May 1993 to Adam and Julie Harper. The first thing you have to know about Melissa was that she was a mistake. Her parents didn’t want a child. Both of her parents had demanding career in both business and the legal areas of society. They didn’t have time for a child so when Melissa was born she was practically given straight into the arms of a Nanny.

Melissa was raised by a serious of about six different nannies. They never lasted too long and the year she started high school was the year that here parents just stopped hiring them. Her parents just never had the time for her and they didn’t really want to have the time for her either. She was given money instead of affection and this emotionally took its toll on the girl. Without parental support it was no wonder Melissa has had her troubles.

High school was where Melissa really found her calling. She was pretty and she could move so she was quickly invited to join the cheerleaders, something which she had been wanting for so long. Melissa also had an empty house a lot of the time with her parents going away on long trips for business so parties were often held at her house. Melissa loved being popular and soon this turned into a fear of one day being rejected. She had to make sure she had all the new fashions and only hung out with the right people. Melissa also had to make sure that she looked her best at all times.

Last summer though Melissa went to spend a little over a month with her Grandmother, well that was the story which everyone else was told. Instead Melissa was hospitalised after collapsing at home due to a lack of food. She had been starving herself. Her parents were furious with her and did their best to “cover it up” not wanting to look bad in the community or deal with the gossip. Instead they sent her away, hoping that when she came back she would be better.

Now that she is back though, will the pressures of school life and cheerleading send her back down the path of starving herself to fit in? Or will Melissa learn that it’s what’s on the inside that counts.
