Personality

Nature:
- Personality:Masaru is a formal, serious figure that carries himself with a certain air of dignity. Despite his respectable mannerisms many consider him to be an eccentric, maybe due to his... elegant, dress code, and sometimes incomprehensible beliefs. What Masaru speaks he does so as if communicating with higher beings, and little he says has any relation with simple matters. He has a firm philosophical argument for everything at any time. Don't have your homework? Then prepare to be lectured on social duties and the effects of one's actions on the rest of the world. Masaru's views, at face value, appear to be very conservative ones, but unless he reveals the deeper significance behind his thoughts there is no way of knowing fully his intentions. That said, even though he claims to be an intellectual, and one capable of understanding anything put before him, he is usually incapable of comprehending the views of others. His arrogance has caused many to give up arguing or debating with Masaru. Nor is he shy about expressing his opinion. If he sees that one is unsure about their own beliefs he will impose and force his own upon you, whether you want him to or not.
This is the portion of him that students and other teachers see. For those that know him as a Luminescence Elite his is a figure of power and grandiose force of will, mainly due to his acquired Personae. He has surpassed many in combat potency, and he knows it. His pride shows through, reaching limits of even making him seem evil.
- Likes: Most forms of elegance, reading, sport, debating, hunting (as a sport), art, history, philosophy, teaching and seeing ambition in others.
- Dislikes: Immaturity, chatterboxes, defeat(in combat or debate), biology, simplicity, boredom, stupidity and some forms of music such as modern pop, rock and rap.
- Fears: Anything that could permanently harm his appearance, deep water and out of control situations.
- Goals: To destroy the Prediction worlds, to prove that his three personae are the strongest of all, to influence the flowing tale of history, to achieve full intellectual mastery and to become the leader of Luminescence.
- Alignment: Lawful-Neutral
- Communication Skill: Force of Will. It is difficult to argue with Masaru, maybe to his arguments, maybe due to his imposing tone, or maybe even because of his intimidating nature. However he does it, it works, and is sometimes more of a weapon than his guns or Personae.

Equipment

Persona Information: Masaru is a multiple Persona wielder, though he has settled with just three (Hecatondies, Noth and Solus) that he feels represent his greatest qualities and are powerful enough to reach his standard. Though Masaru's Personae are truly fierce, each calling fatigues him greatly, and some of the stronger abilties render him too tired to act briefly afterwards. He can be described as a slow fighter, but devestating if his skills can take effect.
- Source: Philemon
- Summoning: Masaru shatters a Tarot card with a gunshot.

Persona:

- Name: Hecatondies
- Arcana: The Chariot
- Appearance: http://i173.photobucket.com/albums/w77/ ... _Wen_M.jpg
- Background: Like all of Masaru's personae, instead of being figures from the past they are unique individuals, mainly because Masaru knows the past, and considers that no mythological figure is equal to his psyche. The manifestations his mind creates are his own.
- Relation: Hecatondies represents victory, something that Masaru strives constantly for. Though far from going undefeated, Masaru mostly emerges as the winner in most situations, and more often than not finds advantage in apparent defeat.
- Elemental Resistances: Almighty, Lightning and Wind
- Elemental Weaknesses: Expel, Death and Curse
- Skills:
Purging Light: A lightning element attack that can strike at range and has a chance of briefly stunning the target.
Purging Wind: A wind element attack that is not instant. A summoned storm damages over time. Purging Light is powered up is used while Purging Wind is active. This attack deals area damage.
Divine Transition: A physical strike attack that infuses strength with the Almighty element. Divine Transition is a rapid blow that rarely misses but requires time to charge.

Name: Noth
- Arcana: Justice
- Appearance: http://i173.photobucket.com/albums/w77/ ... _Wen_M.jpg
- Background: The same background as the other three.
- Relation: Masaru knows exactly what is correct and what isn't. Noth is the executioner and the manifestation of Masaru's will.
- Elemental Resistances: Slash
- Elemental Weaknesses: Lightning
- Skills: Fortitude's Guillotine: Deals sever physical damage to a single opponent with a chance of causing instant death. (Slash).
The Driving Force of Duty: Noth buffs Masaru's agility, strength and defense for a while. This ability activates automatically if Masaru reaches death once, reviving him and giving him the stated buffs.
The Judge's Reaper (Just Sacrifice): Causes severe physical Slash damage in area with a chance of causing instant death to all, including Masaru.

Name: Solus
- Arcana: The Sun
- Appearance: http://i173.photobucket.com/albums/w77/ ... _Wen_M.jpg
- Background: Same as the other three.
- Relation: Solus is the representation of the night future Masaru knows he will bring to the world, and the shining present that he causes. It also shows his burning desire to achieve, and his enormous (Supposedly) accumulation of knowledge. Solus is probably Masaru's most powerful Persona, though easily the slowest.
- Elemental Resistances: Fire, Almighty and Expel
- Elemental Weaknesses: Earth, Water and Ice
- Skills: The Gleaming Path: Solus charges before releasing a large beam of radiating energy that deals massive fire element damage.
The Accumulation of Power: Solus charges. Masaru's next action double it's potency. Masaru also gains fire absorption and higher defense.
Fate: Requires additional charging. Fate the uses the power of the sun itself to deal fire and almighty damage, with a small chance of expelling, in area, including to Masaru. Fate can be easily interrupted, and if the attack is unsuccessful instead it will summon Solar Armour to protect Masaru from threats, giving him fire absorption and physical defense, but vastly reducing his agility.

History

Background:
- Birthday: 28th of December, 1962
- Nationality: Japanese
- History: Masaru was born into an expecting family that immediately, upon birth, began to apply educational methods that would convert him into an intellectual young lad. Whether due to his parents or his own merits, Masaru proved that was more than academically capable, and wasn't too bad at physical activities either. Masaru only had trouble in subjects such as art and music. They were forms of elegance that he could appreciate, but could never partake in. Masaru's childhood was a disciplined one, with the occasional beating and the odd event of verbal abuse taking place that made him into the loyal, controlled man he is today. Masaru believed and still believes fully in authority, but disagrees with lawful justice. Masaru quickly began to show that he would disregard a law completely if he did not consider it to follow a rigid moral code set in by his own deep thought and his parents' manners.
No tragedies or life changing events have affected Masaru psychologically. As of such, he is unaware of what it means to be in true emotional pain and considers states such as depression to be the weak rendition of an incapable mind. Power is important to Masaru, as is truth.
At the end of his adolescent years Masaru began to study philosophy and world history at university. Rapidly he earned his place as an authority on moral judgment, and on more than one occasion has aided in local legislation. Given his age, his parents have passed away, something that he took fully within his stride and accepted as another stage in life. What truly affected Masaru was the acquisition of his first Persona, Hecatondies, however. At first Masaru did not understand why he possessed such a power. Then, he discovered the Prediction Worlds, the Shadows, and vowed that such realities, possible destinies of the human race, needed to be ended. No already created worlds could exist. As a self-proclaimed philosopher, Masaru considers that humanity must create it's own future. Alternate realities that depict what is to come mean a destiny, and Masaru believes in writing one's own way. For that reason, he was attracted to Luminescence, and the destruction of both the worlds and the Shadows. Masaru also wishes to investigate the Predictions, to find out why they exist and their meaning as a whole. Due to the Prediction World gates and Shadow presence in Yamaeshin Masaru has taken up a position as a local World History and Philosophy teacher, not only to further his investigations, but also to seek out new recruits for Luminescence. More portals and more Shadows mean more possible Persona users, and the more that form part of Luminescence, the higher their chances.
In short, Masaru is not an evil figure. He has no reason to be. He is simply doing what he believes is right by the only means he knows are effective. Philemon may have made a mistake in presenting Masaru with the power he wields... or maybe there is something better planned for him.
- Residence: Yamaeshin’s High Class Residential Area.
- Other: Teacher info.
Teaches: History and Philosophy, Senior. (Plus classes regarding the occult to interested students as an extracurricular activity. The objective is to seek out future Persona users for Luminescence.)
