Introduction
Plot:
When they were younger they were all good friends from kindergarten to grade 7 they stayed together then they all went there separate ways they changed schools or moved away but recently they all moved back and they decided to spend some time together for the holidays so they decided who's house they would be going to and they sent invitations via email it been 4 years sense they last saw each other and theve only communicated threw the internet but thats when things go sour they all show up at the party and after an awkward evening they get ready to leave the cars wont start and a blizzard hits now there forced to spend a few day's together but for that many years can they learn to be friends all over again and will old pre school crushes resurface along with a few new ones...

Nanomi sat on the couch staring out the window as the snow fell down heavier and heavier it seemed that soon everyone would be leaving but with snow so thick Nanomi would be surprised if anyone made it out the door the warm house encouraged her to stay but her curfew clearly stated that unless she got snowed in she was to go home at 11:00 on the dot Nanomi yawned and curled up more on the couch not wanting to be the first or last one to leave or at least try to...

Jake was standing by the corner, leaning against the wall. They were all close friends, but now it felt like he was stuck in a room with complete strangers. His eyes drifted towards the window, where he can see nothing but darkness and well, snow. He looked at his watch before silently sighing. Maybe he should just leave now.. but then again... it wasnt like he can drive through all that snow. He knew he shouldnt have come. Annoyed by the situation, Jake pulled out his earphones and let the music fill his ears. His arms folded across his chest and closed his eyes.

Aaron looking at his cell phone and seeing no reception on it he decided to speak up “Well not that this hasn’t been... lets face it awkward, but I have to go and live my rather brilliant life”. Aaron puts his winter jacket on as he walks toward the door “Nanomi, thank you for the invite I had a wonderful time” (There was a hint of disbelief in his voice but he just wanted to be polite). Aaron looks around the room one more time “Anna, Roman, Everyone else... farewell” Aaron opens the door letting a small gust of snow in before quickly exiting.

Nanomi watched Aaron leave she looked outside the window with a smirk knowing full well the weather was not going to let the go anywhere she sipped her coco and began counting the seconds until Aaron would realize this and come back inside the house she grabbed a cookie and nibbled on it the night had been awkward but they had all changed in a way so it was odd for them yet the awkwardness they faced was somewhat familiar.

Seeing everyone getting up to leave, Anna stood up, brushing off the wrinkles on her skirt. There was an awkward silence in the room and she had grown to become uncomfortable even if these were her childhood friends. "I guess I should get going too." She smiled, putting on her black pea coat and mittens. "I had a great time and it was nice seeing everyone again. I hope we keep in touch." Anna waved goodbye and stepped out of the door, feeling the strong winds and the heavy snow. She pouted as she tried to get open her car but the snow had built up around. It was going to be difficult getting inside and getting out. Giving up, Anna walked back into the house, "My car is trapped."

Aaron entered straight after Anna with his head held low and snow over his shoulders. Wiping the snow off he looks up and raises his eye brow "My.. car wont start". Aaron looks at his cell phone and than throws it on a table. "Does anyone elses phone work out here?"

Jake opened his eyes when he felt a gust of wind. He pulled down his earphones and sighed. His uncle was supposed to pick him up since.. well, they didnt trust him with a drivers license. He sighed once more knowing he would probably have to stay here until the storm stops... which meant he was stuck here. Back in the old days, he would have done something stupid to lighten up the mood here, but now he really wasnt the type to do so. At Aaron's question he checked his phone and saw there was no connection. He shook his head and shoved his phone into his pocket.

Nanomi rummaged in her bag and looked at her phone "my phone has no connection either" Nanomi looked around everyone was so grim she jumped up and smiled "how bought i make some coco or tea while we wait for the weather to get better" Nanomi smiled and headed for the kitchen hoping the coco for cheer everyone up after the most awkward of evenings...

Disappointed with Jake and Nanomi's answers Aaron removed his jacket and hung it up next to the door. Smiling he announces "I suppose some more time with yous will not hurt". Aaron's eyes darted the room studying the people in the room. Jake seemed to be in his own little world not talking to anyone, to be frank hardly anyone was talking at this point. Seeing Nanomi walk to the kitchen he decided to follow her "I'll give you a hand with them", quickly getting one more look Anna's way to see what she was doing first.

Seeing that her phone had no signal as well, Anna decided that they were in fact, stuck there for the night or at least, until the storm got over. She sighed, standing up to glance out at the storm that was becoming heavier and heavier by the moment. "A cup of cocoa sounds great." Anna looked back to Nanomi and smiled, trying to hide the sadness, knowing how much work she could've been doing that night. She sat down on the couch, opposite of Jake, and crossed her legs while picking up one of the magazines sprawled across the table. "So how are you, Jake?" She said, not looking up as she flipped through the pages, deciding that a little small talk wouldn't hurt.

Jake's eyes flickered over to Anna for a second before staring at the ground as he answered her question. "I'm doing fine... I guess. You?" he asked. He leaned back against the couch trying to make himself a bit more comfortable.. not that he really was anyways.

Nanomi opened the cupboard and grabbed a few cups she carried them to the table and headed for the milk and coco powder the milk was easy to find but the coco powder had ran away "stupid coco powder always running away" she mumbled opening random cuboards in frustration.

Anna looked around, putting the magazine down and sighing to herself. "I'm fine, I guess." She leaned back on the couch and started tapping her fingers on her thighs, unsure of how to start a conversation. It had never been like this before they all separated. There used to be no awkwardness in the group of friends, but now, she wasn't sure how to even start talking to one of them. "Uhm, so what have you been up to since you know, we last saw each other?"

Aaron now leaning on the door frame, watched Nanomi as she ruffled through the cupboards talking to herself. "Thats quite funny. Losing the coco, when your the last one to use it" giving a little laugh to himself afterwards. He walks over to the sink and grabs a cup looking over it "Nanomi can I ask a question?" he starts rewiping the cup to get it extra clean than continues to talk without waiting for an answer "Now I know everyone has been behaving strangely but is it just me or is Anna acting a little more weirdly?". Aaron turns to Nanomi to await an answer

Nanomi finally pulled out the coco before looking at Aaron he had a point "you have a point there but many strange things have happened to us all sense we left so who knows" Nanomi started making the coco making sure not to add to much coco that it would make it bitter...
