{"To live is the rarest thing in the world. Most people exist, that is all.” }
-Oscar Wilde
Liam is a friendly guy who would talk to you, even if he didn't know you, if only he wasn't so shy. He hates to start conversations because he always thinks he's doing it wrong yet craves to have as many friends as possible. He only has enough courage to ever start talking to people he doesn't know when his brother around, making everything easier on him. Liam is very competitive with his brother and is very aggressive in the sports he plays because of this. He loves to help others when he has the time and is always offering his help to the teachers or his friends should they need it for anything.

New York, New York
{History}
Liam was born in New York City with his twin brother Lucas. The two were born as identical twins and looked alike in every single way. The children were born to the CEO of a successful, worldwide science corporation and the owner of one of the largest fashion lines in the world. Their father was always in the lab or in his office while their mother was always at her store or studio.
The twins spent their days in their penthouse apartment with their nanny. Growing up, the two were constantly in trouble with the nanny because they both hated her. She was extremely strict and would punish them for offenses that were not even theirs, but the nanny's. The twins mother didn't believe their claims though their father did and tried to convince his wife to fire the woman.
When the twins were ten, there was a large fire in the house from the nanny falling asleep with a lit cigarette. Lucas pulled Liam out of the fire and into the stairwell just as the fire was reaching a peak. The apartment was lost and within, the nanny was killed. The two were injured badly as Lucas received severe burns on his back from where he had gotten snagged on a jagged piece of wood in the apartment while Liam was left unconscious from smoke inhalation. The two were taken to the hospital where their father arrived though their mother didn't, claiming she was too busy and that the boys were probably fine, the person who had called having lied to her.
The two were able to leave the hospital after a week, for Liam, and two weeks, for Lucas. The two went through physical, and mental, therapy as they tried to recuperate. They moved into a new apartment as the old one was totaled. The divorce between their parents began to take place around then. Their mother, wanting to spite the boys' father, took the twins and moved them into a large house in a smaller town where they began middle school with their mother supposedly "raising" them. Their mother never told the boys' father where they went and refused to contact him, lying to her sons in order to make them not want to contact their father.
The boys' mother was an alcoholic after her fashion line crashed and became worthless. She continued to use her husband's money and the twins' father continued to supply it, fearing the boys wouldn't be okay without it. The twins would come home to their mother yelling at them and making them do everything for her. Often times she would bring home someone and force the boys to be silent and "pretend they don't exist" until her guest left.
The boys, in order to stay away from their mother, both took up sports to get away from her. Lucas, excelled at baseball while Liam excelled at basketball, but both were very good at football. They both played wide receiver and on occasion, during desperate times, were thrown in as quarterback and corner back. Every season the twins tried out for sports and made the team except their freshman year of high school. The twins, both trying out for basketball, were rather short and didn't make the cut. That season was the worst as when they were home, their mother hated them and usually tried to beat them or make them too busy to do anything else so their lives would be miserable as she now saw them as their father, not two young boys.
The twins got better and made the team every time after that. The only reason their mother let them try out was so that she could have her alone time with her various boyfriends. The twins began living in the garage around the time the started high school. Their mother locked the door to the house through the mud room and gave them a debit card. They lived, ate, and had everything in the garage with a door that led to the mud room (and bath room) but no access to the house.
Their coaches wondered why they never saw or met the twins' parents and looked into it to see that their mother was an abusive mother and their father was out of the picture. The coaches talked with the boys and said they were going to the police though the boys begged them not to, saying they were doing fine and that their mother wasn't that terrible, though neither believed it. The coaches took it upon themselves to help the boys, buying the entire team dinner after a game and the entire team new equipment to keep the boys from having to pay for their own without getting suspicious of the help.
Both took up a different kind of hobby when they didn't feel pressured to not come home anymore since they rarely had to see their mother. Lucas took up photography and drawing while Liam was more of a guitar player, singer, and songwriter.
{Family Tree : People of Importance}
Lucas Woods
Lucas is Liam's twin brother. The two look exactly alike and do everything together. They've been through a lot together and Liam would never give him up for anything. Lucas is Liam's anchor and what keeps Liam around.
Elizabeth Woods
Liam's abusive, alcoholic, and negligent mother who would probably be happier to see Liam dead before she would hug him. Liam hates her more than anyone else, including his father.
Joseph Woods
Liam is under the impression that his father had abandoned him and his brother to their mother leaving them to suffer her wrath. He dislikes him greatly yet still hopes that he'll come back one day to get him and his brother out of the mess they're in.
{Happiest Memory}
Finally getting a place with Lucas where they wouldn't see there mother often.
{Saddest Memory}
Nearly loosing his brother during the fire, knowing he was in the hospital for so long because he risked himself to save Liam.
