-Description: Ryoma's pale eyes mark his German heritage. His hair, however, seems to be a strange blend possibly due ot the Japanese mix in his blood. While his frame seems skinny beneath those layers, the truth is actually a rather toned body. Around his neck, usually hidden, is an heirloom from mother - A sapphire cross encased in silver. Finally, his headphones are waterproof and never leaves his head even while he sleeps.

-Personality: Due to his personality, Ryoma has many habits that are easily misunderstood. More often than not, when gaze meet, Royma's eyes would drift as if with disdain. But in reality, it is due to his insecurities that Ryoma subconsciously withdraws. Instead of having the courage to clear up the misunderstanding, the boy will often try to cover it up instead using hurtful words.
His chosen attire, also, follow the same pattern. The gloves, the jacket, even the headphones are there because they make him feel safer... more protected. Unfortunately, wearing that attire in the summer really makes him seem like a weirdo.
His headphones are usually not playing any music. However, he would at times pretend as if he could not hear them over the headphones. Sometimes, due again to personality, the unnatural lag before response would make it seem as if the lag was a lip reading proccess delay. When he is looking intently at you, however, that's when you know the music is on and he is truly reading your lips instead of listening.
Despite his strange personality, he is actually a softy inside who only wants to quell that loneliness. Only in times of need, however, will he forget about his insecurities and reveal his true heart from within the thorn cage used to protect it.
-Bio:Though of different origins, Ryoma's parents met in DWMA and eventually the partners fell in love. Though his father was always close to becoming a deathscythe, something would always happen and they would have to restart at zero. Listening to their stories, Ryoma believed that it his mom was already in love with his father even way back then. It made more sense that way because, he supposed, that his mom never wanted to share his father with the death god.
Together they gave birth to little Ryoma.
One day, in the midst of rain and thunder, his father came back wounded after a mission hoping to take his family into safety before the assassins arrived. It seems he had discovered a secret that he was never meant to. In the end, however, his father did not survive the ordeal having been killed while in his weapon form.
His mother changed since then.
She would have random emotional outbursts. Sometimes she bath in tears about how it was her fault that he was killed. Other times she would hug little Ryoma tightly in her arms shaking in fear that the assassins were out to get them. But most of all, while she had control over herself, she would beat into Ryoma everything she knew that he would be strong and survive.
What was a child to do?
Ryoma learned to stay strong in front of his mother. He endured all the inhuman ordeals his mother made him go through. He learned to perceive her soul to detect when she was about to break and therefore respond correspondingly to sooth her. Little Ryoma tried his best not to let mommy cry. But even then... the fear his mother instilled into him grew. And the whole combination of his efforts and fears twisted Ryoma's personality to what it is today.
When there was nothing left she could teach him. His mother sent him to DWMA.
It was her obsession that he would be strong; that he could hold his own even without a meister; that he would survive no matter the cost. And Ryoma... tried his best to live up to his mommy's expectation. He would become the death scythe that she had prevented his father to be... in hopes that one day his mom would be freed of her guilt and pain.

Walking through the halls, Ryoma could not help but feel unsettled. There were too many people. He knew DWMA is a safe place. He knew. But still.
"Hey! Watch where you're going!"
Ryoma ignored him only to be yanked and pushed into the wall. Looking up finally at the student with whom he bumped, their gaze met. Ryoma's eyes quickly drifted to the side as if with disdain. His arm wrapped his chest holding his shoulder as if subconsciously protecting himself.
"Could you stop breathing? You're polluting the environment."
