Adrian wearing his armor: Image

Name - Adrian Norwood
Title - (Will think up one)
Faction - Plenoran
Role - Rook
Race - Human
Gender - Male

Appearance - A man of a younger age, say about 27. He is of avergae height say about 6'1 to 6'2, weighs in at about 220 lbs, mostly because of his lean yet muscular build. He has Reddish-Brown hair that grows down to the back of his neck, past his ears and bangs down past his eyes near the nose. He has reddish eyes and a pale complexion. A notable feature on his body however is the appearance of long tatto that resembles a black dragon, the tatto extends from its head on his right cheek down the neck and behind his right shoulder to his back. He often wears black and red, such as long-sleeve black shirts, his red leather vest, black leather pants, boots and fingerless black leather gloves. He sometimes wears a black collar. When Adrian goes out to battle he wears a complete suit of black plated armor, that is lined with silverish plate that outlines the designs of each piece of the suit, such as the pauldrons, the grieves, the gauntlets, etc. He wears his black helmet that shields his entire head and often hides his facial features, making it hard to gain a reading of Adrian's emotions. He is adorned with a long red cape that flows from the neck all of they way down past his waist. He weilds a longsword with a golden handguard and handle. Yet his most notable piece of equipment is his sheild.

Personality - At first he may seem like a quiet and solem person, but he is a strong and honorable individual. He always placed others before himself, even with people that were undesriable at best. He is undoubteably loyal and trustworthy, and will sacrifice anything in the name of his beliefs. Morally refined and intelligent, Adrian always lived by three principals that dictated everything he does, honesty, integrity, and honor. Normally when he is alone he recites his vows his moral principals and trains to become better. When he is around others, people can feel the care and respect he shows to his friends and his allies. Adrain may not know why he is thrusted into this battle, but he will defend the Plenorans and their leaders with fierce tenacity, all in order to not disappoint them and to redeem himself from a past failure.

Weapon(s) - Wields a longsword and has a mighty shield. The shield is mostly black, except the edges that encompass the shield is a golden-platinum as well as the crest that is built into the center, it too is golden-platinum. The crest has the symbol of a castle and gryphon at parallel angles.

Shield: Image

Fighting Style- An extremely techincal fighter, Adrain has an extensive knowledge of battle strategies and tatics. Knows many attacks and counter-attacks that is mainly based on sword and shield use. He also has grappling knowledge and boxing. He knows a little bit of martial arts, but that is mostly in defensive techniques than offensive ones.

--Abilities--
Role Abilities)
1) Sense pressence - Can feel the spiritual pressences of the other "pieces".
2) Castling - Use the crest's power to forcefully swap areas with the king. This can only be used when the king is truly in danger.
3) Detect the king - Can sense if your King is in danger
Ability Name: (1). Protective Aura: A magical barrier surrounds Adrian keeping him protected from attacks. This aura is activated by Adrian calling up the spiritual power that he has been storing as quickly forms a barrier around his entire body. The barrier is self-sustaining not requiring his spiritual energy but it does have a duration, it can only last for 30 minutes . Now the barrier is penetrable from any attack physical or magical, depending upon the power of the attack is how much damage will be done to the aura. Now the aura has two functions that will cost him. Strengthening and Repair. Strengthening will draw upon his spiritual reserves making the aura harder to destroy. The cap of hardening it is three times its original power, each cost is 10% of his reserves. Note that one cost does not make the barrier three times more powerful. Repair is much more costly at 25% of his reserves, but it will cover any damage done to it. Repair can only happen twice. One more note even though the barrier is self-sustaining at first, if the aura suffers contiuous damage, it will make it disintegrate as it cannot possibly withstand an onslaught of attacks as it falls apart.
(2). Regeneration: Through an astounding ability to manipulate his cells through magical influnece he can heal most wounds. Yet these wounds do not heal instantly but rather over time since it does take a while for the magic to connect with the cells. It also depends on the seriousness of the wound, a small scratch will take less than a minute, but a stab through the shoulder will take 10 minutes to heal completely. But if they are fatal injuries, he cannot muster enough magic to force the cells to regenerate such grievous harm. The cost of this is rather insignificant since it is only taking less than 0.01% of his energy. This regeneration pratically uses natural healing just at a more accelerated pace (this is what uses the cost of energy.)
(3). Gryphon's Attributes: In response to his crest he may call upon the guardian gryphon to lend him power. From their he gains the strength and dexterity of a lion and the perfect sight of the eagle, as well as temporary flight. This state of enhancement does not last forever and will fade from his body over a period of time. This does not call upon his energy but rather an external source, (The Crest) therefor a time limit is imposed, the limit is 25 minutes. He could extend that time period but that is incredibly taxing on the body and will not prove fruitful, especially in long battles. The length of extension would only be 5 minutes more, any more and he could seriously cripple himself or worse kill himself since it does require his energy to extend it. The cost would be 20% per minute for extension.
(4). Imprisonment: In a sense this similar to protective aura, but instead its a barrier that surrounds the enemy and instead of protecting him to keeps him trapped in one spot. This barrier is stronger and larger than the protective aura and is meant as more of a delay tatic to keep an opponent busy on destroying the barrier around. However there is one way that it can be used offensively. The Imprisonment starts of in a large containment field, but that size can be altered, if so it can be used to crush the opponent by reducing the size and more enclosing on the opponent. The drawback to this variation of Imprisonment is that the containment field is at its weakest when its changing its size. The reason being is that instead of the magic being concentrated solely on hardening the field making it difficult to break, it must split up that concentration shrinking it, this may weaken the structure from a quarter to half of its original power, making escape much more likely. The cost of casting would be an immediate 40% of his reserves. The cost of channeling will be 2% per minute. Shrinking does not induce a casting cost since it manipulates what is already there, channeling cost remains the same. Also let it be known that unlike the protective aura, Imprisonment cannot be hardened. The strength of Imprisonment is already at its maximum , but it is stronger than the aura. Also it cannot be repaired once its decimated its gone, unless he wishes to subtract another 40% to cast it again. The number of casts cannot exceed two times.

Adrian

In the dark of the night, in his bed, Adrian was tossing and turning, having a horrendous nightmare. The thunder clashed and the rain poured down heavily outside his bedroom window, the storm front that has be reigning over his hometown and has returned for another round and with a vengeance. Images in Adrian's head flashed violently as he sees his beloved in a hospital bed. "I'm sorry....I never should have yelled." His fight with Susan rang clearly despite the interference of the tempestuous storm. "Can't you ever think about anything else besides yourself!?" yelled Susan. "It isn't I who is obessive over thereself!" Adrian retorted almost venomously. More of their fight continued and it was over a stupid subject, that should have never escalated to yelling. "I don't even know why I agreed to marry you!" And with those devastating words Susan walks out into the night and drives away. Tears of anguish, of regret, trickled down Adrian's face in his sleep. Images of a car crash appear, continuously. The doctor's diagnoises continues to be repeated into infinity as he aggressively squirms in the middle of his bed. Then Adrian hears gunshots as he comes to the wounded body of his partner Arthur Kingsbury. "It isn't your fault...this...happened...Adrian..." Arthur's dying words spoken again and again, almost as if he were watching a movie being rewinded obsessively, like a toddler wishing to see a funny part over and over again. The storm clashed with a mighty roar as the dark, and dismal pictures turn black.

In the midsts of absolute darkeness, Adrian hears the words...Chess...and Rook. Before he knows it a Rook Chess Piece appears out from the nothingness. Adrian attempts to touch the Rook as if he felt connected to it, but everything turned back in to black and then came the rain. Adrian felt wet, cold, miserable, and confused. Then came another thunderous roar and Adrian awakens in the middle of a field. Bolting straight up from the moist grass he inspects his new surroundings. "This isn't my home. Where am I?" Adrian puzzled by this strange phenomenon, he walks about sluggishly as if he were dazed. "Susan...Arthur..." Adrian still plagued with thoughts from his old world came to a wooden gate, Adrian pushed the wooden exit and stumbled on to a cobblestone street. "Susan...Arthur..." He continued to repeat their names like a broken record, until he came upon a puddle made by the rain. Even though the raindrops distorted his reflection he could see the old tattoo of the black dragon's head on his right cheek as it stretches down past his neck to his back. Yet a new tattoo was present on his left cheek. "Chess..." He thought as he peered at the Rook's Crest on his face.

"What does all of this mean?" Even more puzzled by this series of strange events, he continues to inspect the environment. Adrian wandered down a alleyway and saw people rushing to find cover as he discovers an massive city. "What is this place?" Adrian asks to himself, but he cannot yield an answer. Adrian wanders towards a corner store window as he peers at his reflection, much more vivid he investigates the new mark on his face, "When did I get this?" Adrian suddenly remebers the image of the rook piece. "Was it then?" "Ugh, I cannot remember...my head feels like someone hammered a hot nail into my skull then ripped it out, and hammered it down again." Adrian clutches his head in pain. "Ugh, A Rook?" "Hm..." "That must be my....uh...my...position?" Adrian having difficulty assessing the significance of the Rook, then Adrian immediately thought of his profession, "Yes, I was a man of the law, a detective to be exact." Adrian remembers being drilled at the academy. "Heh, yes...to serve and protect...that was...or...is my duty." "To serve and protect, heh its almost like a prayer to me, second nature." A thunder clap snapped Adrian out of his reminicing. "Arthur...is this my chance for redemption?" He wandered to the main street were he saw a bell tower from a church standing down at the end in front of a fountain. With an inexplicable urge Adrian ran for the church. Gathering into a full sprint Adrian entered the confines of the building. No one was inside, or no one that he could see at the moment, no parishoners, nor reverends, or deacons. Still his mission was to climb the bell tower, he ran down the hall as the rain dripped from the the stained glass windows, almost appearing as if angels were crying. Adrian dashed up the bell tower's stair case and reached the top were he could see two castles in direct opposite sides. He saw the white castle and felt no connection with it, then he glanced over to the black castle and with a flash of lightning he felt an undeniable urge to move towards that particular castle.

"So that is where I need to be." Adrian set on his course left the empty church and headed for the Plenoran castle. "Susan...is this my chance for forgiveness?" With that Adrian started his journey to the castle in the pouring rain.

Adrian

"Argh!" Adrian bellows as he firmly grips the left side of his head near the Rook tattoo on his cheek. "Why do I keep have this odd feeling that someone or something is always near me?" "Maybe even watching me?" Adrian thought as he glanced around to see if he was alone, he was. "If no one is here then why do I feel like someone is right next to me all the time!?" This strange sensation has been nothing short of an annoyance, as Adrian felt multiple prescences, some more further away than others. "No time to be standing out here in the middle of a street, I could be hit by a car." Then Adrian immediately thought of Susan. "I wonder how she is doing right now." With the castle still in Adrian's sight above some of the buildings he presses onward. Adrian crosses another street as he looks over his right shoulder and saw two people a man with brown hair and a woman with an old color of white or perhaps pinkish hair?" (Roy & Katsuya) "There's something...nah there just a couple probably." Adrian, even though he feels something odd about the two, felt that the desire to reach the castle was more important. Adrian continued to walk as he made his way of the city and the presences he felt earlier where dwindling but never disappearing. "Well at least my head has become more bearable." Adrian reaches a walkway that leads to the castle.

The walkway was made of stone and is much more neat than the cobblestone streets of the city behind him. He followed the path to an archway from their he could see a black castle elevated above a dark lake. He continued the follow the road as moved past the lake and moved upwards against the hill. As he made it to the top, he looked down over the cliffside and saw the lake. The body of water is more larger than previously believed, it stretched from the archway and it appears to even go under the castle, it may even continue on to the other side of the castle. As he turns around Adrian gazes upon the Plenoran castle. The castle itself was dark, mystifying, forbodding, and even ominious, yet he felt at home with the strutcture. Adrian walks up the solem steps and opens the doors to the dark castle. As Adrian steps inside he notice a grand hall that extends throughout the castle. "I better close the door, no need to let the cold of this storm enter." As he closes the entrance behind him, Adrian walks down the hall and peers about the castle, it was elaborate, vast and gothic. Adrian felt lonesome in this huge structure, then he reached what appeared to be a lounge. Adrian entered and found a fireplace, "Well what luck is this, with this huge fireplace I should be able to keep warm." There was wood inside surprisingly, but what was missing was some way to ignite the wood. "Heh, where's a match when you need one?"

Stumbling around in the dark lounge, he found a cabinet near the fireplace, he opened one of the drawers and chanced upon a matchbox. "Well my luck seems to be changing." Adrian procures a match and takes it by the fireplace. With a scratch against the stone covering at the top of the fireplace, the match ignites into a small fire. Adrian tosses the match into the fireplace, the fire begins to grow and soon enough the an inferno engulfs the wood and becomes a raging blaze. The fireplace itself seemed to come alive as a ferocious dragon with it's mouth opened wide and is about to set Adrian on fire with it's terrible breath. Taking a few steps back, Adrian immediately feels warmth overriding his senses and bringing them back to life from the cold, dead grip of the rainstorm. Adrian began to dry as he felt, for once, comfortable, yes comfortable, it was nice to feel comfortable again. "I have no clue why I'm here or why I choose to come here, for all I know I could be trespassing on someone's property." "There is funiture and expensive furniture at that." As Adrian can see the lounge clearly thanks to the light of the fire. There was handsome taprestry that hung from the windows and a luxurious couch sat in front of an ornate, wooden table, both looking towards the mouth of the fireplace. Adrian, feeling that his clothes have become dry, sat upon the couch, it's cushions a dark red, were soft, comfy, and relaxing. Adrian would doze off and take a much need nap, but the thought of being caught in someone's home just made Adrian nervous. "I probably should leave before I am discovered, but I just feel like I shouldn't, that I belong here..." contemplating his perdicament, Adrian stares deeply into the yellow fire keeping him warm.

As he sat upon the red cushioned couch, Adrian noticed a bird pecking at the window off in the corner. Tap! Tap! It went as Adrian decided to go and investigate. "What...a bird...its a rather large one...may be a raven?" Adrian stared at the large black bird as it fluttered off back into the storm. Adrian turned around as the shadows began to creep in from where he sat. "The fires dying out...I better leave...I've already long since, overstayed my welcome." Adrian moved back into the hall as he stared at the grand doors he first entered though. "Why do I still have this feeling though that my place is here?" Then Adrian turned his head towards the opposite direction, as he stared down the vast hallway into the nothingness of the shadows that lingered there. "I wonder...whats over here?" "Something feels...oddly familiar..." , Adrian moved down the hall as he came by rows of doors and eventually reached a staircase. "Its so dark in here, the light from the windows makes anything barely visible, thanks to the storm." Adrien discovered a candlestick atop a golden candelabra, Adrien then took one of the matches he retrieved from the drawer and lit the candle. "Thats better." Adrien climbed the stairs and moved towards the right wing. On the otherside he discovered a door with markings, one them had what looked like a horse designed on the door. "Odd, I don't believe that would be a stable...I wonder if theres others?" Adrian roamed the hallways until he found a door with the same Tower design that is upon his left cheek. "A castle tower...or should I say a rook?" Adrian felt compeled to enter. "For the life of me...why do I feel of these strange urges!?" "Its becoming absurd!" "Here I am inside of somebody's castle and I'm prowling around like some sort of cat burgluar!" Adrian's gazed was fixiated on the door for long time, until finally he entered...

Adrian

As he entered the room, from first impressions, it seemed to be just a normal room. There was nothing particulary extraordinary, there was a full-size bed, a closet, and a door that he can only assume leads to a bathroom of sorts. The bed though beckoned him, he felt weary, a nice relaxing nap could be what Adrian needs. After all he hasn't been getting much sleep anyway. When he went by the bed he noticed the closet door behind him was slightly open. I wonder why this was left open? he thought as he touched the door. Before he closed it he discovered a strange object, curiousity taking over, he opened the door fully to unveil a sword. Well, a sword, must be a collectors., Adrian assumes. He then discovered what looked like a long, draping article of clothing. Hm, it looks like its covering something. Adrian proceeds to open the other door. After the matter he discovered a shield, and next to it a cape covering what appears to be a black suit of armor.

Well, whoever he is certainly went all out with the medieval theme., Adrian touched the armor and had a strange sensation as if it belonged to him. He gaze deeply at the attire as the sword and shield seem to emitt signal to his soul as he felt connected to the weapons. What? Ugh, I don't understand a thing about this world, its all so alien..., he thought a bit frustrated, as he closed the closet door. He turned his attention back to the bed as he once again considered falling asleep, then lightning stuck him out of his trance as he looked out the window. It's still raining...is it ever going to stop?, he asked as if he felt this storm has lasted for days. Adrian wandered up to the wind peered out. It was dark and the rain still fierce as he could make out the shape of the grounds, as his gaze wandered he could barely make out, what seemed to be people. They were by the gate Adrian passed on his way to the castle entrance, immediately apprehension over took Adrian's senses. Oh no! It must be the people that live here! I knew this castle couldn't have been abandoned with all of the furnishing and cleanliness of the building. I've got to get out of here! Adrian charged out of the bedroom as he searched frantically thoughout the castle corridors for an escape.

Roy's eyes widened. One person hearing things was a coincidence, but two meant there was a wolf behind you. Er, so to speak. "Yeah. There must be somebody else in the castle." He turned towards the castle, where the gates stood open and inviting.

Here we go, storming our own castle. Great start, guys. "I dunno about you all, but getting out of the rain sounds great too." He grinned. "Besides. This place is ours, I think. We probably should check it out, no?"

He hurried inside, coming into a large entrance chamber. (Sorry, GM, but I want to move this along.) A large open space with chairs along the walls and, at the back, a large, doubled staircase to the next floor. Doors were located along all walls, to who knows where- None had any markings to discern their purpose. Black was, of course, the dominant color, but it was by no means the only one. The warm browns, reds, and whites of oak and mahogany decorated the stairs and banisters, while golden tapestries depicting...

Roy found his eyes dancing over the embroidery, unable to focus on it. Whatever it showed, he could not for the life of him see it. Perhaps that was a good thing.

"Hello?" he called out, unusually brave for once. "Is anyone there?" The sound of movement was still audible from nearby...

Katsuya

Katsuya hesitated a moment before following Roy into the castle, though she was distracted by so many things. "Hm." She grunted, resting her head in her hand. "I do wonder about these things sometimes." She proceeded, laughing to herself as she went through the giant doors. "Roy?" She asked around, losing him, occasionally seeing outlines of things as her eyes slowly adjusted to the darkness. It was one one of the things she hated more than her fear of drowning, or dying.

The darkness seemed to close in on her, practically suffocating her in it's grasp. "N-No." She charged forward, smacking her head into a pillar. Her forehead had a bump on it and she feel backwards on top of that. "It hurts!" She cried out like a small child who had just scraped their knee. "ROY!" She screamed this time, wanting someone to be there to comfort her and tell her it would all be alright.

After a few moments of silence, she pulled her knees to her chest and started crying. "I want to go home. Back to Kanavan." She hiccuped in between a few words, but she knew that wasn't going to happen. It pained her to think that she would never she her family again. None of the friendly neighbors. None of the Palace Personnel. "My heart truly hearts." She sobbed a bit more, letting her face face on her knees. "I don't know anyone here! I probably won't make any friends!" She screamed angrily, her legs making it quiet so it wouldn't echo. Her body could be seen shaking up and down, and she continued to wail quietly.

He heard voices. This wasn't good it must be the owners of this castle. Adrian's mind racing he was running out of options. Who was he kidding, he was no criminal and he wasn't going to act like one. He may as well come clean.
Adrian moved towards the first voice he heard that called,

"Hello?" he called out, unusually brave for once. "Is anyone there?" The sound of movement was still audible from nearby...

Adrian moved towards the voice and he could see the silhouette of a person. Slowly Adrian crept from the shadows with both his hands raised in the air in a "don't shoot" pose. As he moved into the light of a nearby torch he lit some time ago. "Please I am sorry for intruding into your home...I will come quietly." Adrian spoke towards Roy as he surrendered himself. "There is no need for you too shoot me or anything, I am unarmed." Adrian spoke as he kept his distance from Roy as to not startle him. Adrian then heard crying, that made him felt bad. Perhaps it is another resident maybe worried that I stole something. He felt nothing but guilt but he he oh he was being stupid. Entering another home like this. "Stupid, stupid." Adrian spoke softly to himself.

Roy frowned. The man gave off that same aura of 'instant trust', but at the same time so did the rest of the castle. He had no way of knowing whose side this man was on. "It's not our home, not exactly. And, you know what a gun-?"

Roy twisted around at Katsuya's cry, shocked. "Miss Hirano?!" he gasped, seeing her curled up on the floor. He hesitated, then rushed over, dropping to his knees beside her. "What happened?" he asked, softly, as if treating a patient. A nervous breakdown? But why? Maybe... No, no time for speculation.

He couldn't fix her mind, if that was indeed the source of this, with what he could do, no, but he could at least stop the pain from the bruise. "Konpundo," he whispered, and tapped her forehead. Katsuya would feel an odd warmth spread from the contact, as any bruises or cuts on her body would start to mend. The magic drained him a little, and he felt itchy, but ignored it. Can't afford to lose a teammate. Especially if there's a 'white' to this board...

Roy then looked up, staring at Adrian. He didn't move from Katsuya's side, but he raised a hand protectively. "Who are you? D-did you do this to her?" He tried to keep the fear out of his voice, but it showed through a little.

Something nagged at the back of his brain. White makes first move. "You have a mark, don't you? Show it!"

Adrian surprised was bit startled by Roy's remarks. "No I swear I didn't do anything to her!" "I-I didn't even steal anything from this castle!" Adrian said trying to plead for his innocence. The only thing he was guilty of was trespassing. Adrian then heard Roy make and odd request.

"You have a mark, don't you? Show it!"

Adrian again was surprised by the request and wasn't sure what he meant. Maybe he was talking about his tattoos. "What do you mean my tattoos?" Adrian asked tried to quickly answer the man's questions. "Uh I have this dragon tattoo on my right cheek that shows it's head and it moves down to my back shoulder." Adrian explained as he turned his face to his right cheek in the light to show the dragon's head. "And well I do have this other one but I don't remember when I got it." He turned his face to the other side to reveal another black tattoo. There was the crest of a Rook present on his left cheek. "That is all of the tattoos I have, I swear!" Adrian spoke still pleading. Adrian worried about what might happen next. This woman crying might be his girlfriend or worse his wife. He knows how protective one can be over the one they love. So much so that they would go to extreme lengths to protect them. "Please I didn't do anything." "I was just trying to escape the rain...please just don't shoot me." "I will submit myself to the authorities even!" Adrian spoke tying to make himself sound convincing but at this moment it is all up to Roy on how he decides his fate.

Calliope grinned as she leaned back against the wall, they only had been a minute in the castle but they already had trouble. I just love a good drama, that is if it does not involve people i know. She thought while the grin dissapeared making place for her normal charming smile.
'Roy,Please calm down. Can't you sense it? This person belongs with us,The Plenoran group. See he has a mark on his hand. The sweetheart is so scared that he's as pale as a corpse.
Oh wait you don't say it like that in the English language. It was as pale as a ghost. Sorry,it seems like I've been in Belgium for a little too long.
They always say there "Zo bleek als een lijk." Which means as pale as a corpse in English.
Well,Whatever. Our Cute little lady Katsuya just is a little bit homesick and worried that she won't make any friends.'
She slowly walked towards Katsuya. Calliope knelt before the girl and took her by her armpits so that she could pull her up. Once she had done that she lightly hit the dust out of Katsuya's clothes making sure she didn't hurt her.

Then she directed her words towards Katsuya.
'Sweetie,I am going to be a little bit hard now but I'm sure you'll be able to take it. You're a daughter of nobility, right? So start acting like it!
Honestly,I'm not sure what you're parents were teaching you but I'm quite sure that it wasn't to be this easily discouraged. And why are worrying about making friends? look just how much Roy cares about you,I'm quite sure he already sees you as a friend. And I wouldn't be acting like this if i didn't regard to you as a friend. So that already makes 2 friends.....' Now directing her words towards the one who's name she didn't now yet (Adrian) 'O by the way,you can let your hands down. I doubt the fact that Roy has a gun strongly. Plus this is also your Castle.' Adrian

Adrian was taken back by the woman's sudden appearance. Whoever she was she acted like she knew these people. He watched her take charge of the situation calling of, well, Roy and calming down Katsuya. Adrian watched her walked about as she spoke to him.

'O by the way,you can let your hands down. I doubt the fact that Roy has a gun strongly. Plus this is also your Castle.'

Adrian let down his hands as he watched her walk towards him. He was little bit worried that she might snap at him too. But before he could speak in his defense she immediately grabbed his hand. What is she doing!? Adrian thought as he had a dumbfounded look upon his face.

'Alright we got another hottie in our team! Welcome to Plenoran.'

"Uh...thank you?" Adrian said as he lifted his eyebrow in confusion. When he heard her talk she seemed to know some things he didn't. Perhaps she could answer some questions.

"Um I don't mean to be rude or anything but could you answer me some questions?" Adrian said as he pulled away his "stolen" hand from Calliope's grasp.

"Um what did you mean by it being "my" castle?" Adrian asked, "Also what is this Plenoran?" Adrian asked as he lifted up his shoulders in a shrug.

Calliope raised an eyebrow.
"Are you telling me you don't know? Normally you know the purpose of why you were send here. Did you hit your head or anything?"

She sighed,somewhat tired.
"Well, whatever. Let me explain you. You're in the city named Gardenia.
You are here to fight for the Plenoran side of the city.
This battle takes place every 100 years,It's winners deciding who will rule the city until the next battle. This castle is the base of the Plenoran team. Which you are in. Look at your hand. You're a rook."

Wondering what his reaction would be she looked closely at his face.
