Except obviously this is way too modern clothing. She really wears a simmilar style of clothing, but not as... modern.
Rayla is extremely hotheaded. She will be argumentative and she will rub people the wrong way. She firmly believes in her own point of view and will argue others on it until she is positive she is wrong. However, she also has a good head on her shoulders. She can reason out meaning behind actions and understand subtilty if needed. However that doesn't mean she will be subtile herself. She will speak her mind as she thinks it. And even she knows that can get into trouble sometimes and will apologize if she thinks that she went too far. She is loyal to her friends and will constantly watch out for them, even if they can look out for themselves.
Headstrong

As she grew older, she began to see the deterioration of the country for herself. And she didn't like it. She tried to keep her family together for as long as she could, but it was to no use. Her father died in a mining accident directly attributed to the fact that he was overworked and didn't have his strength. Soon, her mother passed away from malnutrition. With no means to support herself or her brothers she reluctantly gave her brothers into the care of some more well off neighbors. And so she moved to the northern ports of Kirtian.
