Introduction
Unfortunately, he had more important business to tend to; once he realized the people of the realm caused their own destruction.
Nearly six months later he has returned; in hopes of seeing the grand city rebuilt. To his dismay, it continued to decay. He discovered small metallic life forms tunneling about. Sera had been lost in thought over the remains of her once grand city. It did not take long for her to spot him digging around for these 'shiny bastards', as he called them.
However, their second encounter grew more dark and sinister as their conversation continued. He questioned if these beings helped cause the destruction of the city. Vexar even questioned Sera's pride and faith. However, she gave him a reply that he could not believe. She told him she didn't care about this place.
For this, Vexar would put her through a test of truth; to see if she really meant what she told him. He let her choose to planeswalk with him into the unknown; or if she would stay behind and sulk in the remains of her once grand city.
Sera chose to join him... She would venture through the darkness and into another, even more, grand city. They ventured to the City of Guilds; Ravnica. What would be her reaction to planeswalking? Or, the new city? Or even... What awaited her there?

OOC Notes
Vexar quickly chose a path for them to walk along. Time did not exist here so travel, that would seem to take them a day or even five minutes, would be nearly instantaneous to those on the other side of the planes.
To Sera, they had simply 'warped' or 'teleported' to the grand City of Guilds. It was only a mere blink, while Vexar had walked her by his side for almost twenty minutes. "Here we are." He spoke softly. They were in front of a large building. In fact, the were in front of one of the largest buildings within the Dimir owned region of Ravnica.
This place was, simply put, a library of all. Vexar turned to Sera as a small emerald orb rushed to his left shoulder. The orb skittered on three legs, but remained quiet, which was not normal for the little companion.
"Miss, I'm glad you chose to join me." He gave a very slight smile. Perhaps even he was humbled by the magnificence of Ravnica; or it could have been that he helped found much of what was around. Two armed guards had wandered by, and gave a curt salute to Vexar. He felt that was still un-deserved of him. "Welcome to the City of Guilds..." He stretched back. He stood just over eight feet tall. Vexar widened his arms, proud of the city. "Welcome to Ravnica."
OOC Notes
Sera allowed herself to bend slightly at the knees so that she may rest her hands on there, leaned over in case such an event like her becoming ill were to happen soon. The woman would not even reply to her "companion" at that time as... well, what had happened was just not normal even by a Mystique's standards; a people who lived and thrived in illusionary magicks. All she could do more was to whisper something beneath her breath, "That was unexpected", and raise her eyebrows in disbelief for a short second. ”

With this he gave only a slight glance over her before he turned his back. He began his ascent up the flight of stairs that led into the massive library. He had one task to finish before he would fully devote his time to the woman that chose a new fate with him.
OOC Notes
Sera, though, mustered up what she had to compose herself something close to her previous self and began to follow him, not as if she had no choice, but as if she were someone important enough to be escorted by this very large man. She could only hope with her vanity and pride this was able to be pulled off.
The look on her face didn't help it though as it seemed something was terribly foul in the air.
OOC Notes
Vexar walked at a slow pace, passing up wing after wing of different parts of the library. He was on a mission to reach the end of this vast hall. He adjusted the strap that held the large book on his back, and the staff.
"We are almost there..." He paused. "These men, you must be confident in your mind. They hear what you think as if it were you talking..." Vexar grew more confident in his step. "These sages, they like to toy with the mind. It is their life to know all... Even your deepest and most unwavering thoughts." He gave one small glance back to Sera. "If you don't feel confident enough in your own mind. I suggest you do not attempt to enter with me."
OOC Notes
"I am not afraid."
Casting those cobalt eyes up to Vexar's tall frame, it was almost a dare for him to contrast what she had said. Her gaze though would drop down to somewhere along his jaw for what seemed a long moment, and finally coming to rest before her again; their destination perhaps?
OOC Notes
They entered an open chamber that seemed to reach up into the heights of the city. There, three men stood. They were even taller than Vexar. He gave a slight bow, and they responded with a modest nod. This was more respect than most Filigree would give anyone.

Their enlongated heads tilted at the new arrival. Vexar did nothing to stop them from attempting to probe Sera. Yet, he still managed to distract their attention by unhooking the large book from his back. He laid it on a large table in the center of the chamber.
His body language suggested that he were in deep conversation with them. And, theirs suggested the same back to him.
But, these sages liked to toy with the mind. And, with Vexar distracted; would they be tempted to reach into Sera's?
OOC Notes
The woman dumped all forethought in her mind though, filling it with ridiculous nonsense such as making fun of Vexar's appearance and critiquing it cruelly, yet humorously as well as her surroundings. Maybe if they had thought her just a silly woman with no secrets to hide, these "men" would not venture too far into her recesses.
Though in the back of her mind, through all her defenses, a small voice was pleading for them to not discover that hurt which left Sera fractured. Bragnus.
OOC Notes
He dropped his hands and the unspoken conversation. His words echoed throughout the chamber. "I brought you here to study the books of worlds..." This did not cause any of the figures to hesitate. Instead the last three attempted to stride past him.
Vexar reached for the staff on his back. A click resounded from it as he unsnapped it from its binding. The clear orb floating in the center, at the top, of the staff began to dimly turn blue.
He slowly brought the staff in front of him. "I give you your final warning. I will not take your lives... But, your very knowledge will be lost without trace..." His voice was low, a tone not heard by Sera. It was of madness, of seething hatred.
OOC Notes
'Don't do it Samaire... you cannot do this. How can you kill your own father? For a game?' The silent words to herself were spoken as the long knife's point was driven into Bragnus's heart. Shock stuck upon his face as he fell to the floor, dragging his killer's disguise away from their face. A sorrow that Sera had never before seen duplicated was at that moment forever seared into her mind; only her's being greater.
Forgive me...
Then as if it were clear as daylight, Sera could feel the Enclave's hands grasping her arms to shake sense into her, taking her away to safety as their most valuable assassin.
OOC Notes
The sages fell into a pool of metal and artifact. Their memories erasing away the very thoughts that kept them bound together. This would be worse than death for a Filigree sage, left to exist until they could re-create what they once were.
The light slowly grew dim as the last of the sages melted away. "So much for getting this book figured out..." His voice was still low. Vexar was highly dissapointed in Sera. He slowly strode forward and strapped his staff, and book.
OOC Notes
Sera stood there with raised expression and eyes moving calculatingly between the two beings left behind in the room.
OOC Notes
The last remark was only to reassure himself. "You are not ready for the vault if that is how you feel."
Vexar's eyes, not hidden by his shades, shifted back to Sera. "We now have yet another step in front of us." He took a step toward her. "It would seem you also have much to learn. "
His next words were calculated, a response to trigger admission from Sera. "I know you still care, so you must still have some faith for your people and your land." He paused. "I know you felt forced to lie to me." The evidence of a tear was still on her cheek; and glistened as if a tell tale proof that she still had a heart for the Celestial Realm.

An unsure, and revealing glance was directed towards Vexar before she shifted it quickly away from him to the woman. "I suppose I should introduce myself since you seem to know him as well..." Sera's lips moved to do just that very thing, but found herself tongue tied and unable to do so.
Sera couldn't even remember her own name.
OOC Notes
He was lost in the confusions of what he would be able to do for her. For when memories were taken, there was no easy task to get them back.
Vexar's eyes wandered back to Rozwell. "This is my apprentice, Rozwell." He paused, still studying Sera. He could imagine the change would be better for him. Yet, he had no idea where it could bring her; if she even wanted to remember.
OOC Notes
"It is a pleasure to meet you~" She spoke softly as she stood straight again. She then silently spoke to Vexar, asking questions, and hoping she could be of use from all of the studying she did while he was absent.
OOC Notes
"Well... I suppose that the next question to be asked is where are we heading." Sera was watching the two, that woman speaking to Vexar so personally, stroking further her ego against women especially. It didn't even bother her to so rudely interrupt her either, as it felt natural for anything she had to say was far more important. If only Vexar could have made her forget her pride, or perhaps it was so grand now, that trait was embedded into her very being.
OOC Notes
"I believe that will be left up to fate..." He spoke, eying Sera before turning his full attention to Rozwell. "If you've come across anything in your recent studies..." He trailed off as if she should know the rest of his question or statement.
OOC Notes
Tilting her head slightly to the side, she raised a single finger with thumb extended as well... then stared for the longest time. It had been awhile since it was last used, but being in this strange place... there just might be the need to use Altering again. Sera's index finger glowed a red before she relaxed the hand to her side. Maybe not... only time would tell.
OOC Notes
The Orzhov were capitalist, politicians of all, they believed power was everything. With this, Vexar strode forward, heading out of the chamber. The steel on his boots clacking against the floor as he picked up his pace.
OOC Notes
"Greedy bastards.."~ She muttered under her breath. She turned to Vexar, watching him leave the room. She sighed, as she began to follow after him, her long tail swaying with each step behind her.
OOC Notes
Sera followed after the two, more so paying attention to her surroundings and cataloging each footstep with great detail. Crossing her arms beneath her bust, Sera remained silent echoing the footsteps behind Vexar and Rozwell with her soft leather boots. Her silence would only be broken every now and then with a low noise elicited in back of her thin throat; thoughts ever roaming aimlessly.
OOC Notes
It was only when an Orzhov Pontiff called out for him, that he was allowed in with the companions. "Ah, young Brhodof!" He made haste towards the man that was tall and slender as he.

"The only face I welcome in this capitalist hell."
