Introduction

Before the wars leading up to the rebellion against the Confederacy and the creation of Kerrigan, Queen of Blades, there was another war. The war of the first encountered. This war was created when the Terran finally were able to perfect space travel, unbeknown to them of other aliens out in the distance. Once the humans fled earth to search the galaxy, they ran into warships and organic monsters who wanted nothing more than to destroy them. It was even worse when they tried to colonize on planets. They would only get so far as to build up a weak civilization, then get mercilessly massacred by the other races. Protoss wanted to keep their people safe from these new outsiders and Zerg just wanted their never ending supply of war and land. You are one of the first settlers to take off on the new spaceships formally called, "Battlecruisers." You must land on the new planet and fight to survive. Whether it be from war or diplomacy, you must bring peace to this new planet and call it your own.

Rules

I don't like cutting people from their creativity, but I do have some rules.
- No god modding
- Respect everyone. If you happen to get into a fight and get hit, don't pretend it didn't damage you in some way. Kinda goes along with num. 1.
- This is a realistic roleplay. You can be good, but not godly good.
- You can only respond to your character. You cannot take neutral parties or other individuals responses.
- Must have a minimum of 5 lines. It sucks to try and pick up a conversation when one person is doing nothing...
- Most of all, I prefer that you have played the game or read the books. If you haven't, this will all be confusing to you.

Re: [OOC] Starcraft: Origins

Sorry to double post but looking at the character sheet he just submitted, I'd say this is about the first ships that came to the Koprulu sector from Earth.

Re: [OOC] Starcraft: Origins

I may have only played the games not read the books but I think Skyflying-falcon has got a point. Though Imust say that it is possible that this occurred not long before the first game since they are colonising a new planet, their communications may have been damaged and not able to alert anyone of their peril until Mar Sara had already been infested and attacked. Still, I'm probably wrong so I'd like some clarification as well as to exactly when this is set so I might update my character a little to suit it. :P

Re: [OOC] Starcraft: Origins

Just a question. How long before the first game is this? Because I've read a few books and they, with the game suggest that the Confederacy's general population and even people like Raynor and Mengsk didn't know about them. So if it is the Zerg and Protoss they encountered there must be an enormous time gap for them to forget between this time period and the one of the first game. If so then the technology will be extremely different, specially for the Terrans. The Zerg also will have a whole new barrage of evolution forms, the precursors to all the ones present in the game.
I like to think I know quite a bit about the Starcraft universe, I may be wrong.
I'll be making a character once I get a grasp on the big picture.

BTW, St Vlad's is waiting for you.
