Description

Lacus stand at a mere 5'4" and weighs just over 100 pounds. She has long black hair that she keeps tied in a ponytail in the back with the sides being shoulder length. Her eyes are a sparkling silver color that seem to have an unnaturally intense gaze. Lacus has a few scars here and there from mishaps during her work, but has mostly clear skin. Most of the time Lacus can be seen wearing her priestess robes, a mixture of red and white. She often carries around a wooden staff with gold rings attached to the top. Of course during school she dresses in normal clothes; usually a T-Shirt and a pair of jeans.

Personality

Lacus is a kind and sweet girl, going out of her way to help those around her that she sees could use and extra hand. She tends to be more shy around straightforward people and tends to keep her thoughts to herself. However, her sweet and shy demeanor go out the window when she starts her job of keeping the towns strange and freaky at bay. When she's busy at work she become calm and confident....well for the most part. Lacus has a habit getting worked up and in her line of work she has a lot of comical mishaps.

Equipment

Lacus's main piece of equipment is her priestess's staff she carries. It is said to be carve from the wood of a sacred tree and imbued with holy power. Add with the power of the metal talismans in the shape of golden rings at the top and you've got a potent magical item. Useful for performing exorcisms or chasing down aliens and monsters. A must have item for a magical girl. Aside from her staff, Lacus also carries paper talismans to help in various situations as well as a canteen of Holy Water.

History

Lacus was born and raised in Bay City; the child of John and Maria Allens. Lacus's parents are the keepers of the towns holy shrine and since she was young Lacus was taught to be a priestess. Her parents were the people the towns folk called to purify their homes or seek a blessing for a special occasion. Every now and then though they would have to go out and perform an exorcism. Lacus didn't notice, but her mother was often gone for longer periods of time than her father. She just wrote it off as more priestess work. Then she discovered the truth when she turned thirteen. Lacus's mother was the previous magical girl. Her job was to keep the magical world hidden from other people and she did a good job at it for the most part.

One day Maria called Lacus into her room and explained everything to her. After they were done talking her mother handed her her staff. "Now it's your turn. I've had a good run, but now it's time to pass my duties off to you," her mother told her. Since then her mother started training her on how to use magic as well as her abilities as a priestess better. Lacus was also given a black cat named Kana as a familiar. It took a while to get used to the fact that it could talk, but now its a part of everyday life. Since then Lacus has been doing her best to keep the weird and creepy at bay, but lately things are starting to get out of hand. What's a magical girl to do?
