Player

Tall and blonde haired instead of white-haired like in the picture, Andelin is lean but muscular, built more for speed than for strength. Like all Caelians, he's about six feet tall with golden eyes and he prefers to dress in whites and blues. Andelin is considered handsome, even by Caelian standards, though he is not as handsome as some of the more charismatic and beautiful citizens.

Personality

Andelin is a nature-loving and peaceful person, despite having joined the guard force that protects the main landmass that his people live on. Instead, he enjoys hearing and telling stories and getting into debates about philosophy. He is troubled by murmurings of war and has always argued against it. Although a little snobbish in his attitude towards the other races, he's called into question whether Caelians are any better if they're considering war simply because they consider themselves better than the others. Others agree with him, but, to him, it seems like fewer and fewer people consider the old philosophies worthwhile. He is soft-hearted and fights to wound and immobilize, never to kill.

Equipment

Andelin is armed with a steel swords that glows silver in sunlight and moonlight as well as a golden shield emblazoned with an oak tree silvery lettering that was the symbol of an old Caelian philosopher. Around his neck, he wears a necklace with a small ruby denoting his status as a soldier of his people.

History

Andelin grew up as the third son of a prominent Caelian guard captain and a female philosopher. It from his father and his older brothers that he learned how to fight and it was from his mother that he learned the history and philosophies of his people, as well as to beware of his pride. He grew up happy and swallowed up everything he was taught by his parents. His skill with a sword rivaled that of his father's and his tongue became as sharp as his mother's. His mother, however, passed away when he was 12 and that made a strong impact on his life, especially when the philosophy his mother followed was no longer popular thanks to the arrogance of his people. He became slightly more withdrawn and paid more attention to nature and curious about the world outside his people's lands. He aims to make his father proud, but can't support a war that his mother would never approve of.
