Adrian finished the last set of his math homework before closing his book and sighing. He stretched and looked out the window, seeing the sun was starting to set. He got up from his chair and walked out of his room. The house was quiet, which meant mother wasnt home. All his brothers were probably in their rooms studying, or doing whatever. Adrian walked downstairs and into the kitchen for a drink of water. He backtracked when he thought he saw something layong on the table. Picking it up, he quickly read over it. Not much of a surprise to hear that his mother was going on a vacation.... again. What surprised him was that their mother actually left them to deal with a guest. He rubbed the back of his neck and looked around the kitchen. "Make dinner?" he mumbled. With a small sigh he started to dig through the fridge. It wouldnt be nice to make the guests starve... whoever it was. Adrian just hoped his mother didnt do anything stupid.

Nova stared off into the distance, watching the sun set slowly. "Wonderful," he whispered softly, "Simply wonderful. A shame that my brothers are not here to watch the sun set with me." He turned his back on the setting sun, and walked up the drive way with a smile. He noticed someone in the window and smile softly. Upon entering the mansion, he immediately went to the kitchen for a drink.

Stopping in the entryway, Nova noticed Adrian digging through the fridge. "Hungry again, Adrian?" He chuckled softly, walking to the cupboard and taking out a glass. Pouring himself a glass of water from the faucet, he sipped at it and noticed the piece of paper on the table. "Another note from Mother, eh?" He picked it up and began to read it slowly. "She needs to learn how to spell, our mother does," he pointed at a spot on the paper, "Flavor instead of favor? Ridiculous." He tossed the paper onto the table, and stared at the fridge. Sighing heavily, he walked towards it, saying, "Let me help you with that, Adrian. Don't you remember? I'm the best cook out of all of you."

Rune sat on his bed reading the final pages of his book. As he closed his book and put it down he triggered a avalanche of Manga. "Woah that was close...Hey there's that book I was looking for yesterday, who would have thought it would be in that pile." He heard pans crashing and such which made him realize how hungery he, himself was. He walked do to the kitchen to find Adien and Nova cooking. As he walked in he stepped on a piece of crumpled paper. He opened it to revile a letter from they're mother. "Again, alright I'll go set the table."

Adrian looked back at his brother with a bored expression, "What are you making for dinner? Cant we just order pizza?" he asked with a small sigh. He was pretty good at cooking, not as good as Nova, but he was often lazy. He stretched before closing the fridge door. "Nothing to eat anyways.." he muttered before walking into the livingroom. He found a seat on the couch and turned on the tv, flipping through the channels. "Boring, boring.... boring.." he mumbled to himself. With a small sigh, he put the remote down and layed down on the couch with his arms over his eyes.
Adrian tapped his feet silently wondering who the guests might be.

Nova sighed heavily at his brother's laziness. He went to the pantry and lifted out a small, secret box from the very top shelf in the back. Taking out a key that hung from his neck, he opened the box slowly, so as to not alert Adrian. Pulling open the lid, he looked down at the small assortments of chocolates that he had made. 'The guests will sure to enjoy these,' he thought quietly, a smile spreading across his face. Taking out a chocolate truffle, he closed and locked the box up again, placing it back on the top shelf.

"Oh Adrian," Nova sang softly, "Look what I have." He exited the pantry, holding the truffle in his hands and on a small napkin. He held it out in front of him and said, "Greet the guests when they arrive, leave me to the food, and I'll give you more, ok?" He smiled a cold, but cheerful smile at Adrian. "You are to be on your best behavior, understand? If you don't," his cold smile became an evil grin, "I'll not allow you near anymore chocolate for a month. I'll make sure everyone at school, and all your little friends, know that you are not to have any chocolate for 30 days. Do I make myself clear?"

Adrian sat up, "No fair!! Even mother doesnt use chocolate against me!!" he whinned. "What if some weirdo comes to our house? You cant expect me to be nice to a weirdo." he said putting a hand in his pocket. "Rune, tell Nova not to use chocolate against me anymore!! And what makes you think my friends will actually listen to you?" he asked raising an eyebrow. Adrian then grinned, "But you do know I have my ways of getting chocolate."
With a small yawn Adrian got up. "Fine... I'll behave.." he mumbled scratching his head. He looked at the clock and turned the tv off. "So all I need to do is greet our guests right?" Adrian grabbed the truffle from the napkin before putting it in his mouth. A small smile grew on his lips at the sweet taste.

Kass got out of the taxi. She grabbed her single huge duffel bag. She rang the doorbell while reading the note over from her mother again. "Okay, whatever." she shrugged. Kass waited outside in baggy pants that hung off her hips, black converse and top that fell off her shoulders and exposed her stomach that had stars tattooed on it on the right side. She had huge headphones around her neck and her bag was on her shoulder. Her long white hair was wavy and she had her tongue pierced. Well this should be interesting she told herself.

Adrian looked towards the door at the sound of doorbells. He walked over and opened the door, expecting it to be one of the guests. "Hello...?" he said sounding unsure as he looked at the girl. "Um... uh.." he made a face wondering if she was supposed to be the "guest" mother was talking about. Instead of keeping her standing there he opened the door wide and step aside, "Come on in.." he said with a small smile. Then it hit him. "Damn it mother..." he growled under his breath.
Adrian continued to put on the smile, though, waiting for the girl to walk in. "You're early.. the others arent here yet. Make yourself comfortable." he said trying to be polite.

Kass nodded her head and walked inside. She held out her hand as she looked the boy up and down. "I'm Kass. Your new house mate er whatever." she said as she dropped her bag. "Anywhere, like perhaps, a room I can throw this in? " she asked with a smile.

Nova chuckled as he began to chop some fresh vegetables. He was wearing their mother's frilly pink apron, because his was still missing from the last time he cooked. "Just my luck," he muttered when he couldn't find his apron. Taking out some lettuce, he started to make a fresh green salad. He started tossing the salad when the door knocked, and he muttered, "Better behave Adrian, or I'll expose your secret caches of chocolate to mother."

After hearing the door open, feet walking into the house, and the door shut, Nova wondered who was the person who came into their home. "Yo Adrian, who's our guest?" He called out from the kitchen. He set the salad aside and went to the back of the fridge, pulling out a pot roast that hid under some butter. He smiled as he began to take out the pot for it from it's resting place. He turned on the oven, and waited for it heat itself up.

"Uh.. some girl." he answered before pointing upstairs. "Uh... pick a room... wait what?! Whoa hold it." he said before closing the door. "What's that bag for? I thought you're just having dinner.." Adrian said looking at his brothers if they had any ideas what was going on. Shaking his head he sighed, "Just pick a room..." he mumbled. He'll just have to deal with it... for now.

"Dude, chill." Kass laughed. "I never knew a boy who was upset to be alone with chicks." she said as she shook her head with an amused smile on her face. "You'll get use to me." she said with a wink before going in where the guy with the apron was cooking. "Hi. I'm Kass." she said with a smile and wave. "I'm going to go 'pick a room.' See ya." she laughed before walking upstairs to drop her stuff.

Nova stared after the girl, as she disappeared up the stairs. "Kass huh," he grinned slightly, "This should be interesting." He turned to Adrian, his eyes drooping in a scowl. "Adrian," he called out to his brother, "Mother has been planning this for a while, it seems. We just have to ride it out and get mother back when she comes home." An evil thought came to his mind, and he grinned just as evily.

Turning back to the oven, Nova placed the roast inside, turned on the timer, and began to clean up. "Adrian," he called out once more, pulling out another chocolate, "Catch," he tossed the cocolate towards his brother, and turned away. "Looks like we still have some chocolate ice cream," he sang lightly, opening the freezer, "And, its unopened." He chuckled softly, knowing how his brother loved his chocolate.

Miranda read her mothers note one last time before getting out of the taxi and knocking on the door politely hopping she was not early or late a small black cat jumped on her shoulder and lay there silently at time attacking her hair Miranda looked down at her clothes hoping they weren't to shabby they were very odd for a person with a tuque on her head and a sort of punkish clothing style and a bunch of books poking out of her bag from cooking books to her favorite murder mystery's...

As Wu Zenian drove up the driveway to the mansion mentioned in her mother's note, she glared at the piece of paper once more. Once again her mother had gone and made a decision for Wu herself--and doing that was unexcusable. It violated her privacy, it completely took away her choice for what she wanted to do, and it utterly destroyed all the plans Wu could have made for herself for that time. Not that she had made any, really, but it would have been nice to be asked for once in her life...

Sighing bitterly, cursing the world at her own (lack of) fortune, Wu parked her car, a 1970 Plymouth Roadrunner, in front of the mansion, and got out of the car. From her trunk she took only two things: a case, clearly containing a guitar, and a backpack. The guitar wasn't necessary--perhaps it was even just weighting her down--but if she happened to run out of books to read (which happened often) it would at least be good to be able to jam on her own. "Man, who the hell sends their daughter to some mansion to stay with people their daughter doesn't even know while she goes off on some mad vacation..." It made no sense to her. Wu and her mother had their fair share of fights--mostly over her mother trying to make Wu do something she really did not want to do--but Wu never thought her mother would inflict this on her.

As she came to the front door, she realised there was another girl at the door. Looks like my mother isn't the only one pulling this crap on their daughter... As she came up to the front door, she glanced down at Miranda, noting the strange but interesting clothing. Wu herself wore a brown leather jacket, jeans, and converses--her usual and beloved outfit. Well, if the girl wanted to talk to me, she'd be talking, Wu made up an excuse to herself, as if hoping the excuse for not talking to Miranda would be apparent. She then turned and rang the doorbell, a scowl and glare already fixed on her face.

Nova danced from the kitchen, around his brother, and opened the door. "Well well well," he smiled softly, looking down at the two girls in front of him. "Sorry to keep you waiting for so long," he smiled softly, stepping back to let the two girls inside. "Mother does seem to have an interesting way of trying to get us to date," He muttered under his breath. "I believe that we are expecting both of you, perhaps more, perhaps not," he chuckled softly.

"Dinner will be ready upon the next hour," Nova said, grinning slightly, "Dress is, whatever you wish it to be." He shrugged his shoulders lightly, and shook his head. "Tonight, we shall be having a light green salad, and a pot roast. For dessert, we have an assortment of ice creams, and chocolate truffles. Bare in mind, please, that my brother," he pointed at Adrian, "Will be able to distinguish the different chocolates that I have made." Smiling sweetly, he placed his right hand over his heart and bowed slightly. "Welcome, my ladies, to the Trevino Mansion."

I'll be going on a trip with my friend. Sorry for leaving without informing you first. Dont worry, I have a friend who agreed to let you stay in her house.

She couldn't believe it, the woman obviously abandoned her to the dogs. Rayne gritted her teeth in annoyance as she crumpled the note within her hand. Admitedly this wasn't the first time her dear mother pulled the fast one on her. But... To drop her own daughter in a country she had no idea off, now thats just freaking cruel! for a moment the young girl pondered if the someone slipped the woman too much to drink. But knowing her mother's crazyiness... She doubt it. Yeah like she could be drunk. She thought sarcastically as the taxi stopped in front of a large manor.

Casually Rayne got off, pushing the taxi door open, she breath in the fresh wind. Twelve hours in the plane could do that to you. From her home country to the middle of the rich suburds in the west.... Boy does her mother love her... Casting her gaze over at the manor she sighed. Here she was, not even a few days away from her home and she was already beginning to miss her dear friends. "Can't do anything about it now..." She mumbled to herself as she grabbed her bag. She didn't bring all that much... A large stroller bag that held her clothes, a laptop bag that held her precious Acer laptop and her ever trusted guitar. With those in her hands she paid the driver before walking over to the door. Might as well get this over with.. She was stuck here. Not that she could ever complain to the woman that brought her to this world.

Adrian caught the chocolate in his mouth as his brother tossed it over to him. He looked over at the other girls before walking over to the fridge and taking the chocolate ice cream out. "Skipping dinner, have fun with our... guests." he said with a sarcastic smile. With the ice cream in his mouth, he walked up to his room and closed the door behind him. Adrian grabbed the book he was reading, and sat himself down on the bed with his legs stretched out.
In matter of minutes, he was done eating the ice cream. "That was good..." he commented before closing the book and stretching. With a small sigh he walked over to the window, tapping his fingers on the window sill.

Alex sat on grass, as he gulped down the bottle of water. "Good game Alex. See you in school." his friend said before running off. The boy waved before standing up. He grabbed his bag and swung it on his shoulders before starting to head home. "Ah, today was tiring." he mumbled. There was a small growl, which told him he was hungry. Knowing Nova will make dinner he ran home. "Hungry.. hungry..." he said to himself as he ran up the steps into the house. "I'm ho--" Alex stopped as he stared at the girls. He stepped outside and made sure it was the right house before walking in. "Uh... guests?" he asked looking at his brothers. It was something he didnt expect since his brothers never brought girls to the house.

Nova gave a mental sigh as he watched Adrian walk up the stairs, and called out, "I'm surprised your not already fat from your chocolate consumption." Turning back, with a smile on his face, he waved a greeting at the other girl coming up the drive way. "Another one, eh?" He whispered quietly, "Strange for mother to invite so many girls to our home. Doesn't she even know that many of them..." his voice trailed off as he noticed Alex standing in the doorway.

Tilting his head to the side, Nova grinned slightly at Alex. "Aye, Alex, guests," he drawled, "And these guests are from mother. Who, apparently, want us to," he lifted up two fingers from each hand, making quoting symbols from them while continuing with, "have fun," he dropped his hands, "while these lovely young ladies enjoy their stay here." He sighed dramatically, "Our brother Adrian got scared when Kass showed up, and ran to his bedroom with the quart of chocolate ice cream." He raised his voice so that his brother upstairs could hear him, "Guess I'll have to tell mother about all his secret caches of chocolate, and keep him from it for 30 days." He grinned evilly at Alex, "Wont that be fun?"

Crap mom, I'm so.... Going to get you back for this, Just wait for it you insensible vecchia megera! Rayne thought to herself mixing in her native tongue. She shook her head, pushing her annoyance at her mother's antics at the back of her mind. She didn't need them thinking she was some weird foreigner. She got that a lot already just because she was too lazy to find a date. The young girl broke out of her musings as she looked ahead, a boy waved at her as she forced a smile before waving back.

So she was going to room with boys... Why was she not surprise? Her mother had been trying or more likely failing to hook her up with someone for years. This must be one of the woman's plan B... God, why didn't she move in with her grandfather?... She pulled her her bag as she walked inside the large house. "H-Hi." She greeted her voice lighted with a slight italian accent she couldn't seem to get rid of at the moment.

Kass jogged down stairs and into the kitchen. "Mmm, smells good." she stated before jumping up to sit on an open space of the counter. "Hi! I'm Kass." she said to Nova and the girl. "But I think I already told you that?" she said to Nova.

For a moment, Wu simply could not speak--she was too utterly shocked. Not only had her mother sent her to some mansion to stay with people she had never met before, those people were all high school age boys around her age (Wu had graduated high school at 18, but that was beside the point). For a moment, she could only gape at the boys, not even moving through the threshold before at last she walked into the mansion, having made up her mind about what she was going to do: she could demand an explanation for this outrage from her mother later, but for now this problem had to be addressed.

"Look, I'm sorry," she began, trying to keep anger out of her voice. "But I can't stay in some mansion with a bunch of guys I don't even know...so if you don't mind, I'll just be on my way home..." I can take care of myself perfectly fine...

Gavin Trevino

"Greetings," Nova mused lightly, "Dinner shall be ready soon," he turned his head towards the kitchen and tilted his head. "I'd say, about 20 minutes," he smiled back at the girl, his nostrils flared gently. His head swerved towards the girl who just spoke, and whispered, "Nonsense, you must stay. Everyone, except for Alex," he glared at his younger brother, "knows how to behave themselves around beautiful young ladies, such as yourself." He reached out to the girl, and gently took her arm. "Stay," he smiled sweetly, "I insist."

"Hello Kass," Nova turned to smile at Kass. "Dinner shall be ready in about 20 minutes, ok?" He turned back to the girl, whos arm he held, and gently pulled her into the mansion.

I would damn love to head back home but my place is fourteen hours away Europe bound.... Rayne thought sarcastically hearing the girl's comment. She wasn't the only one unamused by this arrangement after all.. She sighed watching in silence as the guy grabbed the girl's arm before pulling him inside the mansion. If she stayed quiet enough then maybe they would just pretend she didn't exist before she chews out her mother when she gets a hold of her.

She ran her hand along her silky tresses as she leaned against the wall. Dinner in 20 minutes, perfect a chance to get to know her roomies while thinking of ways she could get back at her mother for this travesty! Screw motherly love! This is war!
