Introduction
The one enjoyment I had left of which I cherished so much was watching motorists and or they’re passenger’s stairs as they passed by me as if they had never seen a wolf or a large dog before in their life. One little girl I remembered quite well; she looked at me and smiled pointing out to me and saying something. I wish I knew what she said so badly because she was the only one who stared at me with a smile. One group of younger skinnier looking humans stopped to feed me. They wore many green colored and green shaded clothing with plenty of peace signs adorning them. One of them cupped some water in their hand for me to drink from and gave me a pop-tart which to me was a five star meal considering the last thing I had was a starved bunny. They petted me and talked to me as if I was human and asked me if I liked the pop-tart, I of cores gave them a happy bark yes. I was so thankful but my happiness was very short live because I would never see these nice people again and I noticed one of the male humans was looking at his watch and telling the others they had to leave. I turned away and began walking away not caring if I let on that I understood them, as the young female human that fed me said bye, calling me Tommy and telling me to be careful. I wanted so bad to turn around and pouncing my whole body into her arms and licking her face all over but I had become so callous I already wanted them out of my life. And soon there car would speed past me and they would be gone forever.
For a short time I wondered what it would be like to play the part of a domesticated pet living with that friendly human female, it seemed like the easy way out at the same time though. After all I was a monster and I had fed on human flesh before but I believed I could endure the simple life of a humans pet. The idea was something I could hold onto a sort of backup plan if I couldn’t cut it as a human anymore.
The high way was starting to get thinner and more crowded and offered to rams on either side leading up to a gas station and fast food restaurant and road that went up in the mountains. At first I cringed my sharp canine teeth at the idea of being around so many humans at once the feral side of me hated crowds which was really the only part of me left besides the urge to talk to someone.
As I walked up the highway off ramp cars would honk at me and swerve away before hitting me. I did my best to ignore them growling from time to time. I would wait my turn in the intersection but I soon grew impatient and ran into the street evading the cars and causing some to squeaking their tires. The gas station seemed to be less crowded or at least more thinned out then the fast food place of which was littered with overweight horrid looking humans. Instead the gas station was filled with stressed out looking busy humans to few to bother with my presences. I had no clue how to approach the place and not a clue why I was here. I swallowed deeply with my worn starchy feral throat.
I could find a way to become a human. I could fade into a crowd, have a job and be lost in society. I schemed. But this task wouldn’t be an easy one; first I would have to acquire some clothing to wear. Humans are very uptight about nudity. Next I would have to find a job and a house.
The only problem with this plan of mine was I was in the middle of nowhere. I thought for a short time as I sat in the bushes while witnessing a small young human girl step out of her over packed caravan. She seemed almost instinctively drawn to him whipping her head around looking at me. She smiled and trotted over to me cheerfully. Stupid human look were you are walking. I thought as I watched for her luckily she was speared of a horrible death at the hands of a carless drive. She closed the last few inches between me and her. “Hi doggy” she spoke with as soft friendly tone. I would curse her and scold her for running through gas station parking lot if I had a voice and mind to but I only gave her a growl of frustration while I crotched close to the grass with my belly and muzzle resting on the ground. She didn’t seem to notice my growling as her smooth tiny finger stroked slowly at my matted grimy furred head while extended out her sandwich out to me. Really? For me? I prayed to her. She released it to land on my paws. I tore in the sandwich eating it within 10 seconds or so as she watched in delight. “Yummy huh boy?” she smiled. I would look up to her with puppy dog eyes. “I don’t have any more, boy” she frowned. A large older human shouted at her to come inside and she quickly turned the other way and began trotting to the entrance of the stations food mart. “There’s a doggy over there” I hear her state as the mother pulled her inside and gave me a stair.
I slowly approached the door to the food mart staring in watching the busy humans moving around inside some standing in line. I turned my head to the caravan the small girl came from there was a stack of cloths inside and the door didn’t look fully closed; A flannel shirt on the top of the stack, red and black. I looked back into the store looking for the small child and her mother. They were no were to be found.
The pavement seemed to be drawing me to the van. I was a curl and twist monster and enjoyed the taste of blood and rare flesh but petty theft seemed a little beneath me but my choices were limited. I hope there are boots in there too…
THERE YEARS LATER
The time was eleven forty five; I was restless rolling over in my bedroom. It was a full moon and I was having trouble holding him from bursting through my skin. It was getting easier though. I barely still hear his voice and when I do hear it he normally only comments on the food I eat. My job as a cashier had successfully curbed my appetite for hunting and running the forest being a beast. The draw backs few, one namely being reprimand on regular bases by the store manager for problems I’m not having and mistakes I’m not making.
My apartment was quite the and the mixture of darkness and naked walls made me feel nearly the same as I did on the highway but on the brighter side I had more or less made friends at work. The bank account, credit card and job also put me on what humans call ‘The Grind’ which helped create the human Tommy Jordanson ruse. I chose Tommy because that’s what the female who feed me on the highway called me and the Jordanson was just some standard generic last name.
Everyday day I was scheduled for work I would drive with my stereo blaring and my mirrored aviator glasses. I felt stylish. This was something I never really considering when choosing my new life path, whether or not to become a human’s pet, to become human or to stay on the run. I rather enjoyed dressing and choosing cloths. It certainly beat being naked, which was how I spent most of my time as a werewolf. Even when I was out on the town in skin I never wore a shirt, just some tattered jeans.
When I would arrive at work I would always have to deal with the store manager or the supervisors informing me on how there were changes to how I must do my job or what I did wrong last shift. It never really got under my nerves but I always got the scene that it was all building up. And when I got abuse from the customers that idea always seem to be underlined in my mind. It was funny how the customers always thought I cared about the competition across the street.
“Its cheaper across the street at the other store. Sorry” the customer spoke dropping off merchandise off at my register and walking out.
“You’ll probably get it there for cheaper.” I mumbled tossing merchandise under my register
“Tommy, did you ask if they wanted the extended warranty?” I nodded in response to see my supervisor.
“No you didn’t. You didn’t ask her for an email or savings card to didn’t you?” over weight female asked crossing her arms. Heh it’s funny how special you think you are when really any drop out could do your job.
“She wasn’t buying anything and if you knew I didn’t ask any questions then why did you even bother to ask me if I did?” I spoke raising my brow as if I had a dull and surprised expression all at once.
“Don’t talk back to me. You know you aren’t going to get any hours without any credit card apps and that attitude of yours” she narrowed her brow.
It was about Five o’clock, I had 2 hours left of my shift and the little voice in the back of my head already started to scream I need to get out of here. But of course there wasn’t really anything to come home to, basically I wanted to rush to get home and do nothing alone, of which I was very good at I might added. But honestly I’d rather be doing just about anything including high school for the second time at least then I’d be sitting all day instead of standing.
“Hello, how are you” the fake smile contorted over my face as I greeted the customer. I was a cashier at my local, heartless, superstore. I just assumed they didn’t hear me when they didn’t answer my convince friendly; so I just began scanning there items. And of course I could tell with each item I scanned whether or not the person I was checking out was single or not. Cat food, cat food, cat food, romance novel, insta-noodles- yeah this person was single and it really didn’t take a genius to know that just by looking at them either.

"What a nice awakening." She muttered as she slipped out of her bed. Running her fingers though her hair, she made her way to her closet.
It seemed longer than it was, she mused as she changed. She winced as her fingers ran over the stitches on her arm and whimpered.
"Gotta be careful next time..." She murmured as she slipped on a hooded sweater. She zipped it up and walked out of her closet, looking for her shoes.
"Ahhh-hah!" She cried in victory when she noticed the heel of her black converse sticking out from under her bed. She danced over and sat herself on the wooden floor, pulling out each Canvas shoe with care and slipping them on.
She glanced over at her vial on the night stand. Sighing, she stood and walked over, picking it up and opening the lid.
"Almost out..." She muttered as she licked the rim, the sticky blood coating her tongue.
She closed the cap and returned the vial to the chain, slipping it around her neck as it hung down between her breasts.
"Time for school," She sighed, walking towards her desk chair and picking up here backpack, slinging it over her shoulder as she took a long glance around her bare room. She walked out of the room without a second glance.
Later that Day
Justine sighed as she flipped though her book at lunch. An uneaten apple sat next to her as she laid her back against the rough tree bark. Her pack sitting next to her lifelessly.
She folded the page she was on and closed the book, running her finger tips over the hard cover as she placed it next to her leg. Leaning over, she took her soda and sipped it, leaning her head back on the bark as she stared up at the tree branches above her.
Sitting her soda down, she hugged her knees to her chest, the glass vial touching her bare knees.
She wipped her nose as she laid her head on the tops of her knees.
"If I'm immortal," She muttered to herself as the bell rang; three long demanding rings. "Why do I have to go to school?" She stood and brushed the dirt off her skirt before she grabbed her backpack and book, stuffing her empty soda and uneaten apple back in the brown bag and carried it with her to dump into the nearest trash can.
OOC Notes
He turns up the volume of his custom stereo just little passed the point of 'to loud' as he made a left turn onto the street with the high school. He turned his head to the few passing tree.
"I remember those..." he spoke out loud to comfort himself some.
Trees where one of his favorite things and also one of the number one reasons he hated humans and their wastefulness. The scent of grass fill his trained nose. The trees the wet soil. So rare in a town like this.
And then something else. The scent of another. No stray dog or some lost wolf this was a werewolf. His brow tightened, his nose was out of practice though to place it to one of the many students around. Its female he thought.
He quickly pulled over, his hands gripping at the steering wheel. he chewed his lips for a moment of thought.
"what the hell am i doing" he muttered parked next to that tree.
OOC Notes
Notcing a car parked close to the tree she was at only a few moments before. She grabbed her backpack, slipped her sketch pad inside and almost raced out the door.
Walking outside, she slowly approached the tree, giving it a wide bearth, looking around for a moment, trying to figure out who the scent was coming from.
She walked closer to the tree, pressing her palm against the bark and taking a large sniff. She only smelt herself on the tree, along with the scents of the fellow human students.
not here... She thought, looking around, her eyes darting to every corner of the courtyard.

She slowed down about a mile or two away from the school. Her footsteps were more lighter than before, and she shook her body, her fur fluffing out. She walked in circles for a few moments then sat herself onto the soil, laying her head on her paws.
what was that scent? It was another werewolf, I was positive of that. But who was it? Was it that guy? she thought as she closed her eyes and let the sun warm her fur completely.
OOC Notes
Suddenly everything was exactly the same again although he couldn't stop thinking about this mysterious girl and why he never caught the scent before.

"Dad's gonna kill me." She said, running back towards the school.
By the time she got back to the school, it was sundown. She walked over to her backpack and slung it over her shoulder as she made her way to the sidewalk, positive her dad was gonna be furious with her.
As she walked, she couldn't help but think of the male in the car. Was he a werewolf like her? She was positive. No human could smell like that; it was distinctive. She shook her head and pulled out her i-pod, slipping in the ear buds and turning it on.

"excuse me how much is this?" a women came into my line with a cart full of merchandise. Oh god this will take hours. I scanned the graphic t she held and scanned it.
"its nine ninety five."
"oh i don't want it"
of corse i stuffed it down under my register. She started packing all of the items in her cart on my convery-belt . i sighed silently to myself as i scanned each item.
This day we never end...
OOC Notes
Her stomach growled. Fortunately, it was only hungry for food. Still, it had been a few weeks since she last took blood, and any day now, the Hunger would come upon her again. Then she'd have to do the unpleasant business of seducing some poor dope and getting him (or her) close enough so she could get at thier necks. Scarlet looked at the sky and noted the sun was starting to slope downwards. It was getting late. No wonder I'm hungry! It's almost dinner time. Scarlet checked through her pack for some food. Much to her dismay, all she had was some trailmix and some granola bars. Damnit! I need more supplies! And I'm almost due for my Hunger too. Scarlet didn't think she had enough money for a good shop. She missed the days when she could simply shoot herself a fur bearing animal like a beaver or a wolf and exchange it's pelt for fresh food. Then again, food for backpackers in this day and age was much better than the pemmican she would have gotten back in the days of the fur trade.
Looking at her map, Scarlet noted she was close to a town. Convenient for supplies and for earning money to buy them. I only wish it were bigger. Normally, Scarlet wouldn't have minded spending some time in a small town earning some money and resting from her travels. Unfortunately, in this day and age, small towns were more like the country villages in England than the settlements she'd found in rural North America when she first arrived here. If she didn't take care of her Hunger immediately, people would start to notice her abnormal mannerisms as she fought to suppress it. Back when Western America, Western Canada, and Northern Mexico were still frontiers, no one would have noticed. Now they'd think she was mentally ill, and be more inclined to inadvertently tempt her with their concern rather than leave her alone so she could scope out the proper victim to take. American small towns, like English villages, were too tight knit. Big cities and wild frontier settlements were more impersonal. Scarlet had never liked cities that much, and she missed the days of the wild frontier. But, she was short on food and short on cash. She'd just have to suck it up and settle down for a bit, and hope she could keep a low profile until she decided to leave again; while at the same time dealing with her Hunger.
OOC Notes
She walked into the doors as they opened for her and grabbed a cart, wheeling it though the aisles as she looked for the things she wanted. She stopped at the Oriental aisle and went straight to the pocky, picking up three double packs and a pack of yan yans.
She walked back to the cashiers and noticed all of them were mainly full. She sighed, shaking her head.
"Yo!" She heard someone call from behind her. Turning around, she was met with one of the guys from her school; Jake, she suddenly remembered.
"Hey.." She said, shifting her weight onto her other foot. "What's up?" As if he didn't hear her, he walked straight past her, to another girl who was in the next line over. She sighed and tightened he hand on the cart, shaking her head. "When is it ever me?"

"Oh great he's stopping" the customer complained crossing her fat arms over her fat body. Arrow was lift breathless as he stared.
"Its her again" he mumbled. His line of course got longer as people didn't seem to notice is lack of movement. The hackles raising under his shirt. He had to get away there was no going back to normal in this environment.
"I- I'm sorry i have to use the bathroom." he said as his register still showed the items in mid transaction. This was very improper to say the very least. He took the longest path to the bathroom furthest from the girl. But by this point his wolf musk was so potent a vampire from a mile away go smell this mangy dog.
OOC Notes
"it's him..." She muttered to herself as she looked away, moving into a new line. "Must not act like I noticed.." She murmured as she remained otherwise frozen in her spot.

And in an instant it was over...

"Are you okay Ma'am?!" One man cried as he put a hand on her shoulder and helped her up.
I belong to him now.... she thought, chewing on her cheek. "huh? Oh..yeah." She nodded and smiled a grim smile before she ran out the door.
She stopped and sank onto the floor, pressing her back against the cool wall of the front of the store. She touched her ear and whimpered again. She was marked, and she was marked for life.

She rose her head and took a long sniff before she let out a whimper. She bowed her head and scratched at her ear.
She ran though the trees, following the scent. Soon, she found herself near an apartment complex. She sat down, her ears pressed against her head as she let out a low whine. She knew she shouldn't be here, she wasn't supposed to. But she had to, she didn't know why, but she felt a pull as she followed his scent, and now, where it was the strongest, she felt a slight comfort.
She laid on the floor and laid her hands on her paws, her eyes locked on one of the windows of the complex.

laboring to the bathroom he looked over his form he tasted blood animal but another type. it was potent and clearly werewolf. His eyes went wide. Suddenly everything became clear. He remembered now. He remember how he left his register, he remembered how he phased in the bathroom stall and he remembered attacking that girl.

Re: READ BEFORE APPLYING [OOC] auditions (werewolf/vampire ONLY)
1. Vampires are created, never born. there are no such things as half-vampires. no one knows who the first vampire was
2. Vampires cannot change form. they cannot turn into bats, wolves, mist, or more pleasing features
3. Vampires are allowed one ability hypnotize victims, telepathy etc.. (MUST relevant to there personality and MUST be approved by Roleplay master demawolf.)
4. Vampires have no super speed or strength.
5. Vampires can go out in sunlight for as long as they want with no ill effects other than normal sunburn
6. Vampires can go into churches, come in contact with holy water, and touch a crucifix; however most are too ashamed at what they are to be closer to a church than they have to be
7. Vampires can tolerate - even enjoy - garlic
8. Vampires are immortal and cannot be killed, even by a stake to the heart. they are already, literally, dead. the only way to ever destroy them is to incinerate them, encase them in concrete, shove them in a woodchipper, or otherwise grind thier bodies into tiny pieces
9. Vampires do not have to take blood every night, only when they get the "hunger". When they get this, one victim is sufficient. Some sadistic vampires try to take more, but this usually leads to an upset stomach that lasts for days. Because of this, only those vampires who were sick, perverted, psychopaths in life relish the thrill of taking human blood. The rest either see the hunger as a chore they have to take care of, or the crowning horror of thier nightmarish existance.
10. In between cravings, vampires can eat normal food
11. Vampires cannot ignore the hunger. They can resist for days or even weeks, but eventually, they must take blood. taking animal blood is no substitute - the hunger can only be overcome by taking human blood
12. Vampires do not have blood of thier own. A vampire cannot take the blood of another vampire, and they cannot bleed
13. A person becomes a vampire when thier blood has been taken by a vampire. The vampire must suck a person dry, or the victim will bleed to death and truly die. When a vampire drains a person's blood, the victim "dies". However, a few hours later, they will wake up as if from sleep with little or no memory of what just happened. By this time, the conversion is complete, and that person is a vampire. However, they will not realize it until they have taken their first victim.
In short, a vampire appears like a normal person until one tries to kill them, or until the hunger comes to them.
