Introduction
PLOT:
A normal every day, or so it seems, brother and sister find themselves at a new school in the middle of nowhere, in a town called Dead Wood, Oregon. (not a real place btw) Their parents have just died and this town was the only place they could afford to live. They both live together and the brother goes to college, while the sister goes to high school.
They soon find that the people in this new town are nowhere near friendly, and they seem to not get along with one another in the least bit. They find that it is very difficult to make friends, until one day when three people decide it's time to change that. Three siblings, the Chesler children, have found themselves wanting to be closer to the Darwin siblings. They start following them around, threatening to kill them if they don't do as they say, and even attempting (and sometimes) succeeding in kidnapping them for 'dates' and 'parties'.
Will the Darwin siblings be able to handle the Chesler children? Will they be killed, fall in love, or end up just...disappearing off the face of the Earth. For there are many places to do horrid things to people in Dead Wood, without getting caught.

OOC Notes
Dead Wood, a place where your surroundings are strange and the people are stranger, at least to the outsiders they are, the locals think they are perfectly normal. But is it possible that they are right and you, the outsider, are the strange one?
Ember walked up to the school, just as she had the past two weeks, hating every single step involved in doing so. She had her eyes more aimed towards the ground in front of her than to the people around her, she didn't wish to make eye contact with any of them, as she assumed they didn't want to make eye contact with her either. They all made her feel very uneasy, on edge almost. She had felt like this ever since herself and her brother had arrived to this town, but the school just increased this feeling. Nobody seemed to care about one another at all in this place, they all seemed to despise each other, including her. The only people she had noticed that actually seemed to not want to kill each other when they were around each other, were two students that ate together at lunch (the twins), but besides them, everyone just ignored each other.
As she stepped through the main doors of the school her uneasy feeling increased even more. She lifted her eyes to see if there was a reason why, but she couldn't tell. She made her way to her locker and entered in the combination and opened the door half way, looking through her pile of books and papers. She then realized if she kept her locker like this, she would end up loosing most of her assignments. She started to remove papers and from her locker and wondered how, in only two weeks, she could have gotten her locker so messy.

It was an ordinary day for Damon. He just parked his Yamaha motorbike outside school, when he heard some girl scream his name. He rolled his eyes and smirked
"Girls, girls...don't worry I love you all" he said taking two of them by the waist and walking into the school. He was looking arround, when he spoted something different, interesting actually. A brown haired girl, owing a pair of interesting colured eyes. She was like a fresh breath of air comapred to the bleached blonde girls that were in school. He studied her from head to toe, and after passing her, turned to take a mental picture of her.
"She's gourgeous" he said to himself smirking. nOW his life wouldn't be boring anymore. He had a goal...to find who that girl was and talk to her.

Nic got off her bike and locked it up. She had a car, but she liked the exercise she got by riding her bike. She waved to a few of the girls on the basketball team and shouted a "Hey."
They all returned the greeting, but as always, kept on their ways, not bothering to stop for anyone, not even her. She shook her head and walked into the school, pulling her bag higher on her shoulders. She walked to her locker, seeing the girl that had gotten here a few weeks ago. She smirked as she watched the girl, opening her locker and shoving her bag in. She wondered if the beautiful girl ever noticed her stares. She chuckled softly to herself and grabbed the book for her first class, shutting her locker with a loud slam.

Ember hadn't really noticed anyone walking past, she just kept rearranging her locker. She finally grabbed the books to her first few classes and went to shut her locker until she heard a locker nearby slam shut and she jumped a bit and automatically turned and looked at the girl. Did she really have to slam it, she thought to herself. She looked at the girl curiously before shutting her locker and turning to leave for her first class. She held her books in front of her and she started to walk away. The people at this school are so strange, she thought to herself.

Nic laughed and waved at the girl before she turned away. She shook her head and followed the girl, staying a few feet behind. She weaved in and out of the crowd, always keeping an eye on her. She wondered if the girl would notice her, but let the thought drop from her mind. The girl didn't seem that observant. She smirked and got closer, walking just behind the girl, looking ahead as if it was normal for her to be right behind the girl. She had a sudden idea and tapped the girl on her left shoulder, then quickly darted a few feet off to the right.

Ember glanced back slightly every once and a while, noticing the locker-slamming girl walking nearby or right behind her. She just ignored her, figuring it meant nothing until she felt the tap on her shoulder and she turned to the left and didn't see anyone who seemed like they had done it. She paused for a moment before looking to the right and seeing the same girl and she stood there looking at her for a moment, getting bumped into by other students. She shook her head slightly and walked over to the girl, "are you following me?" She asked. Then she thought that probably sounded really stupid so she shook her head, "no, i'm sorry." She turned to walk away from the girl.

Nic laughed and smiled. She watched the girl turn around and spoke over the sounds of the surrounding crowd, "Figured that out on your own did you?"
She smirked and waited for the girl to turn around. She knew she would, she had to. If someone was following her, she would want to know why right? That's what Nic hoped anyway. She shifted so her arms were across her chest and the book was still clutched in her hand. Her smirk faded into a natural smile.

Ember thought about this for a moment, the girls response took her back a bit, she wasn't expecting her to say she was following her. She turned and looked at the girl again and shifted her weight to one side, her books still in her arms in front of her. "Well, why exactly are you following me?" She was curious now, she hadn't expected anyone to follow her while she was at school...or anywhere for that matter. She watched students pass by, practically running into her, not even caring that she was standing there.

Lorinda was pulling up at the colledge. She had five minutes before the bell rung and had no still needed to pick up her classes from the office. With a sigh she slowly made her way out of the car. She could see the cheerleaders dancing around the font of the school. Jocks were tossing footballs. She ignored them all making her way through them both. She was earing her blue jean shorts and her favorite purple top.While her blonde curls danced on her shoulders. She heard one of the jocks whistle and simply ignored him. Trying her hardest not to cause trouble on the first day.

She looked at her, "umm, okay then. I guess we can be friends, but can i know your name?" She still thought it was strange that the girl was following her, but she mentally shrugged it off. "My name is Ember." She gave her a light smile and watched as she jabbed one of the people walking by with her elbow and she looked at the person then back at the girl. I think this girl might have some anger issues, she thought to herself. The bell rang for the first class to start and the students started rushing to their classes.

Tired and distracted is how James felt, two weeks he had been here in Dead Wood and not a single friendly face. Somehow he had managed to get a part time job on his own and even his boss was gruff and hard to approach. Thermostat in hand he walked through the front door of the college passed a few peers throwing around a football, how he missed the days when he could play football. Alas those were different times and for now he had to focus on getting through his next lecture without dozing off in class. He hurried passed a girl in jeans who had become eye candie for the players, she seemed annoyed as he glanced her way for a second, but really it was none of his business and he continued on.

Lucinda watched as a boy rushed passed her ignoring the football players and not even taking a glance at the cheerleaders. Instantly a smile formed on her face when he glanced her way for that split second. When she realized what she had done she shook her head trying to escape the thought. "Remember what boys like that put you through." She thought to herself as she began to hum one of her favorite songs. (Walking on air by Keri Koiv). When she reached the front office to pick up her schedule she noticed that boy in the office again and quickly turned to the other administrator before he would make her do something else she didnt like.

I seemed like even the adults in this town were unpleasant there was not even an a smile or an offer for directions from the administrator, she just handed him his schedule and resumed typing away on the computer. On his way it he noticed Lucinda again retrieving her schedule, his glace this time lingered a little longer, she was indeed quite beautiful, but there was something else about her that caught his attention a certain something he couldn't put his finger on. Blaming his thoughts on lack of sleep he shrugged them off and took another sip of coffee from his thermostat as he averted his eyes to his schedule while paying little attention to where he was going.

Lucinda sighed when she got her schedule. Her electives where drawing and and some sort of marketing class. "Why dont I just go for dancing and piano?" She thought to herself but shivered at the idea. If people found out she danced and sing it would be an easy gateway through her life and that was something she didnt need. Her first class was chemistry then history and then math all before lunch. She felt a piece of her hair fall to her face and blew it out of the way. As she sat down in her chemistry class she saw those football players again and while they talked her dirty jokes. She just hummed and thought of all the ways she could torture them.

"Why must the first two years of college be a continuation of general education, it seems so pointless." He complained in his mind as he stepped into his first class, Science. Chemistry to be more exact, not that the subject particularly interested him in anyway it was just another requirement to meet his goal. Leaving his displeasure at the door he scanned the room for an open seat, he eyed on and took it quickly. Just after the fact he realized that another student who was almost assuredly on the football team growled in discontent, it seemed like James took the seat he wanted. "Strange to have such an angry look just for a seat." he thought and by chance looked to his left only to see the girl they were openly admiring earlier. "Oh. That's why" continuing the thought.

When Lucinda heard someone sitting next to her get cocky with one of the football players she looked up. Noticing that it was that same boy. She looked from him to the football player who glanced at her. She simply gave him a shrug and reached into her bag for her journal. Not bothering to listen to the teacher she began writting. Her hair constantly falling in her face that she soon gave up. She stole another glance at the boy next to her biting her lip. She could see his features so clear now. He was cray handsome. She wanted him and was going to do anything to take him.

In a different time he would gladly just float by on this class with a C, but that would not do it for him now he need his grades high and as such he began taking detailed notes. He missed her first glance, but caught the second just as she was looking away and he smiled warmly at here, not knowing if she caught that as she turned away. It was a pretty slandered college class, just an hour of the teacher talking at the students about the lesson and explaining it. As the class began to wind down he took out his schedule and looked at again for his next class and while he was reading it the teacher dismissed the class. Oblivious to his surroundings a three man group of football players approached his general direction.

Lucinda gathered her things as the class was being dismissed when she noticed three of the football players walking towards that mysterious boy. She sighed biting her lip debating on if she should just leave or help. "This would be a perfect excuse to find out more about him." Walking on her heel she groaned and went towards them. She pushed one of the football players out of the way and grabbed his hand. Feeling extremely awkward. "I'm sorry if my...boyfriend was bothering you." She said hesitating on the word. "It wont happen again." She guided them both out the door and when they were in the hallway she said. "Im sorry about saying that I..." She trailed of though when she turned to look at him. Words melting as she saw his face up close. "Dammit this is NOT happening!!!" She thought.

Nic smiled as Ember spoke. Her smile faded when the bell rang and she shook her head, sighing. "I'm Nicole, but call me Nic. Find me an my brother during lunch. Sit with us." She said, walking slowly in the direction of her first class.
She took one last look over her shoulder before turning her full attention to the hallway before her. She wondered what Ember's first class was, no matter, she would find out soon.

James felt a warm sensation on his hand and snapped back from his little world and before him were three players, one of them being the angry one from earlier. They were most likely here to 'persuade' him to change his seat, there was however something that demand more attention. His vision trailed from the players to his hand, only it wasn't just his hand he saw, trailing up the arm of the other hand he saw the blond girl who was glancing at him earlier. "I'm sorry if my...boyfriend was bothering you." The look on James' face must have been one of astonishment as he was speechless and more or less went along with the flow. After she lead him out of the class she apologized and continued to say something, but stopped mid-sentence. "Aheh.. umm." he struggled to find the right words for a moment to break the awkward silence that had developed. "Thank you for helping me out back there. My name is James. Whats yours?" though in truth she probably caused the players to resent him even more now, he would not cheapen the first act of kindness he had received by blurting that out.

Ember nodded when the girl introduced herself and walked off. She found it a bit strange that she didn't say you should sit with us, the way she said it sounded more like a demand. She shrugged it off figuring that at least she had a place to sit at lunch, instead of by herself. She made her way to her first class, math, not exactly her favorite or best subject.

All her classes seemed to drag on and on and...well you get the point. But after the third class was done she sighed, ready for lunch. "James" lorinda thought in her head so cute and simple. "My name is lorinda." She said with yet another smile. She glanced down to her feet not knowing exactly what to say. "If you want him to be yours you have to work on it." She thought to herself. She lifted her head back up. "So...umm...I should be getting to my next class." She said making herself sound nervous when she really wasn't. She slowly started to turn away regretting it deeply.

"A pleasure to meet you Lorinda." he said with a smile as the seconds ticked away and the alumni passed them by. "She looks even better up close." he thought to himself as she lifted her head to speak again. She sounded nervous it was actually kind of funny of how cliche the current turn of events was. As she turned to leave he spoke up one more time. "Thank you again Lorinda." he said before turning to go to his own class without a hint of regret at leaving this perfect opportunity as is. His next class was computer science and as he waled through the halls to his destination his thoughts wandered to Ember and how she was doing, hopefully she had found someone who was kind too.

Lorinda quickly turned around when she heard his voice again. The next two classes went by awfully slow. When they did finally finished she wasn't even in the mood to eat. She was thinking about just leaving all her main classes were done and there was no way she was taking those other two classes. Besides when you have at least 100students you can't notice one leaving. She shrugged deciding that she would just leave.

I was thinking maybe tommorow in the rp either just before or after James rejects Lorinda. James will probably do something to make Lorinda even more obssesed with him.

Tuesday is fine James can just make plan for the surprise today do it Wednesday along with most likely beginning the trigger with Lorinda's Stalker phase by rejecting her is the gentlest way possible and then Thursday will be dramatic event day and Friday be a teacher planning day (if all that's okay with you AJ. yes AJ im sorry if it is rude but i did not feel like typing out your name.)
