Four humans. Four supernatural creatures. And they are all in love. And not just any love. Supernatural love.
But when a war breaks out between these four supernatural creatures; and others are forced to take sides, will these four friends with a loving bond break apart and become enemies for the sake of their lovers? Or will they join forces to bring their beloved's back to peace? Will lives be lost when the chaos is too much to control?
Who knows. It's up to you.
In Supernatural love.
--------------------------------------------------------------
So basicially it's a roleplay about four humans who each have a supernatural lover. And these humans are all friends; the creatures, not so much. And when a world wide war breaks out between these four creatures, these humans are faces by choosing which side to be on... and this might even break their friendship apart. And as family members and other creatures move into the town, battles and murders take place all around them, and they must decide whether to run away with their lover... or to join forces together and get their lovers to work together. They live in a town called Wood-Bank, Oregon. [Made up] It's right on the cold gray ocean; a medium sized town but not large. They also have a large forest near by.
But even their lives may be lost as well.
--------------------------------------------------------------
Alright so; the descriptions of the humans and the creatures... I just kind of made up. So if you want to make up the personality as something different, let me know and I shall change the description of the human/creature you want to be... from... stylish and naughty to... sweet and considerate or something like that. I MIGHT change genders for a few people but... most likely not. I wanted each side to be even. Anyway, onto character descriptions!
Character Descriptions:
The Four Humans - These four humans are between the ages of 16 - 18. I'd prefer 16-17 though. They must be between 10th grade and 12th grade, obviously. Try to make their profiles at detailed as possibly, make it creative and add good real life pictures or expert drawings for them. Remember; they love their supernatural boyfriend/girlfriend dearly and would do anything for them but these four humans have been friends for a while now. They have a strong bond.
The Supernatural Creatures- Age is unlimited. A vampire can be however old you want. The witch... eh. Keep it like the kids, same with the werewolf but the demon and vampire can be immortal and love longer. But if you want to make the witch and the werewolf immortal too, go ahead. That's just... it doesn't fit, if you know what I mean. Keep their powers to a max of 3. Make sure you describe them well; use interesting pictures. Remember they do love their girlfriend/boyfriend alot and would do anything for them... and when the war breaks loose, it's literally all four creatures have gone into war. It's not just these four. It's their entire race. I'm expecting family members to even come and get them; which might lead to a bloody battle in the woods. Just a warning.
Other - These can be hunters... or other creatures that are around. Or even other kids that learn the secrets of these kids and their lovers. These would be more minor characters or family members... anything you can think of. Yes; you may make more then one character if you want.

OOC Notes
After struggling futilely for a few moments, she heaved a sigh before perking up a little. At least she'd slept until ten. She ran a hand through her hair and headed to the bathroom. She emerged twenty minutes later. She decided to let her hair dry on it's own, shoving her legs in worn jeans and putting on a simple blue tanktop and little white jacket. There were few hints of summer left, but not much. It was too close to winter. She glanced up at the clouds through her window and noticed they were starting to let loose small drops. She smiled.
Ivory headed downstairs, where her youngest brother was pacing. "What?" she asked as she popped some bread in the toaster before sitting down with a dead look. Well, after all that she was still tired. It figured. "I don't know if I should go to the party tonight," Blake said.
"Why wouldn't you?" Blake was thirteen and just starting to head out for Saturday nights. The nervousness he was expressing- it wasn't new.
"Because Bekka might be there."
Ah, thought Ivory. His old girlfriend.
"You'll regret it if you don't. 'Sides, I heard she was sick." Of course, Ivory had never even met the girl, but if it would soothe her brother...
"Really?" He nodded as if he'd come to some conclusion, though he didn't bother to share it. She finished her toast and stifled a yawn before yanking a silky cap over her head. Her hair was already starting to dry around her clothes, waving down to her waist. Needa cut that, she promised herself. The oak door slid open silently as she emerged from the house. Her black pickup truck was sitting there, looking forlorn in the face of the rain. She walked out and entered the cab before setting her bag beside her and sticking her key in the ignition. She needed somewhere to go. She flipped open her phone and sent Anna a quick text.
I'm coming over.
OOC Notes
She landed in the middle of the woods, on hard dead leaves and branches that cracked and crunched as she landed on them. She then heard a loud growling behind her, making her jump and slowly stand up. She would turn, seeing bright red eyes staring at her and teeth gleaming in the moonlight above the branches; ... and then she bolted. She was running. Running faster.
She was running even more. Until her foot caught on a log and she fell forward on her face, a pain surging through her head and chest. But she then rolled over and a large teeth filled mouth was coming down towards her head. A scream rang out as she tried to shield her face...
BEEEEP!!!! BEEEEEP!!! BEEEEP!!!
Requiem burst up at the sound of her alarm screaming in her ears, making her sit up as fast as a zombie would pop up from his grave. She would gaze around with her greenish eyes as her hair was sticking to her body, cold sweat cooling on her creamy pale skin. She slowly stood up, dizzy and almost falling over but caught herself against a wall. Another nightmare. She had been having them for a week now; the same one over and over; driving her to wake up at night or wake up breathing heavily. She would walk to the bathroom, looking at herself in the mirror as her eyes looked tired and she splashed some cold water on her face.
Requiem knew it was a Saturday; and a party was going on tonight, from rumors through text, Facebook, and eavesdropping. Wood Bank wasn't very big so it was easy to find out what was going on. Requiem walked to her closet, pulling out a tight tang-top that had the band Death Stars on it; in white writing in contrast to the black material. And then she would take out a pair of baggy black capris that were ripped in a few places but clung to her slender legs enough to wear they could hold onto her slim waist. She would do her hair into a simple ponytail, not feeling like getting all dressy until tonight. She didn't know if she would do; she loved parties but she honestly wasn't that social.
She smeared on some black eyeshadow evenly and then a strong line of eyeliner before she walked towards the door, grabbing her cell phone.
Requiem made her way down the stairs, almost slamming into her older brother Bryan who was coming out of his room in his boxers and a tang-top. "Watch it, and seriously... get some clothes on before you walk out of your man cave." Requiem said, giving him a look. He only smirked at her, ruffling the top of her hair and messing her ponytail up.
"Who are you, the woman of the house? I do what I want, Reqi. At least I'm not naked." he said before vanishing into the hallway bathroom. Requiem would redo her ponytail, growling slightly as she made her way to the kitchen. She would pop two slices of bread into the toaster and pull out the milk, pouring it into a small glass. She drank it slowly and leaned against the counter, looking at her phone, checking for any texts as she waited for her toast to be done.

He walked away from the window and scanned the bookshelves. It felt like a good day to sit and read, but there was nothing he could see that he hadn't read dozens of times before. There were classics, plays, histories, works of philosophy and theology spanning back hundreds of years. On one shelf sat a Kindle, which looked markedly out of place but was, itself, starting to gather dust. It had seemed like a good solution to him having to go out to acquire new things to read and finding space for new books, but it turned out that the kind of books Winter liked to read weren't generally available in eFormat.
A much better source was the book store Requiem worked at. It always had old books you couldn't get anywhere else. She often brought him ones she found that she knew would interest him, but he hadn't seen her in a few days. It was sometimes like that during the week. Nine hundred years of unlife had enabled him to patiently enjoy his own company...but after eight months of knowing Requiem has was still learning to understand the feeling of desiring to see and talk to a certain someone after only a couple of days of them being away. For that reason alone it had been an interesting year. How true the words of old St Papias, "I could not learn so much from books as from a true and abiding voice".
He wandered through to where he had left his phone in the kitchen - the room itself clearly scarcely used over the past few days. Picking it up he nimbly tapped in a text message.
Will you be there if I stop by the book store today? Any evening plans? - Winn
He wasn't much a one for text 'conversations', but it was a convenient way to arrange to meet. And being a smartphone it meant that he wasn't tied to checking the computer daily for Council messages. Happily, he could see that they were still leaving him alone too.
Placing the phone in his pocket, he pulled out a cafetiére and a cup, and put the kettle on to boil. Caffeine had no effect on the undead, but the taste of North African coffee was a personal pleasure of his, as well as a reminder of his families roots.
Having made up the coffee, he returned to the lounge and sank into one of the chairs, looking at the fireplace which had also not been used in several nights. He didn't want to get too deeply occupied in anything just yet; Requiem never took too long to reply.

Now; Requiem was a girl who loved to text when she was in the mood. She would grin, texting back quickly with a smirk.
Yus. I shall be there from 1-4. ... Um. There is a party going on tonight. Would you like to go with me? Or we could just spend the evening alone together. c;
Requiem loved to use little faces in her texts. She grinned and she pressed the green button, watching the message send and then become apart of her outbox. She would then tilt her head and she sighed, looking up the stairs and then down at her outfit. She needed to put on a black and white tang-top to go with this outfit; because black and black just didn't go well for her on a warmish day like this. She bounded up the stair, swerving past Bryan as he walked out with a towel around his body and she pretended to gag at him, before closing her door. She changed her entire outfit; which was something she often did.
She put on some black blue skinny jeans with a white tang-top and then a thin black and gray checkered jacket that remained unbuttoned. She slipped on some converse shoes before walking down the stairs and she kept her hair in a ponytail. Why was it she was always changing? She didn't know. Maybe it was because she just was so indecisive... she was indeed indecisive. She ran back to her phone, waiting to see if Winter had replied but then she glanced at the clock. It was... 11. She looked out the window; seeing rain falling down from the sky in soft droplets. She sulked slightly. Always rain.
She sighed and she would sit down on a chair at the counter. She then heard snoring and jumped, turning her head to see her mom asleep on the couch, holding a bag of chips and beer was sitting on the table... she was still in her nurse outfit. Mother had been working over time at a hospital that was an hour away at a small city that was always getting people in at the hospital. She sighed and walked over, taking the chips and beer away before tucking a blanket over her mother's sleeping body. Poor woman. Ever since father had left them, it had been especially hard for mom to make money. Requiem made sure the t.v. was off before she took the chips and beer to the trashcan.
She then heard Bryan stomping down the stairs. "Bryan! Be quiet!" she snapped in a soft voice, Bryan freezing at the bottom of the stairs with a surprised look on his face. She pointed to mother sleeping, and he rolled his eyes, walking to the fridge and pulling out the milk. He guzzled it straight from the carton. Requiem stared at him with an irritated face and sat back down at the chair at the counter, scrolling through her phone.

He began to punch in a reply, telling her he’d see her at the store and that he’d rather pass on the party. But before sending, he looked up thoughtfully. He considered how much more he’d learned from being with Requiem as opposed to just sitting around reading books. And how much more there could be to learn about human experience by actually being around them. Requiem was a night person, like him, but even with that considered she still made considerable compromises in order to enter into his world. Perhaps it was only fair that he should do the same for her once in a while.
So he changed his text:
Party sounds good, I’ll see you in the store and we’ll make plans. Alone time too...the party won’t outlast us.
His grin widened slightly as he hit ‘send’. He drank up the coffee and walked back over to the window, this time at the front of the house. The rain had picked up slightly, and he could see a couple of young parents dashing frantically about outside their house, trying to keep their kids dry as they ushered them into the car, whilst themselves getting soaked. He shook his head in bemusement. Humans...so easily perturbed. Small mercy for them that most of them didn’t believe in some of the scarier beings that existed among them.

"Come on then Luna. Up and at em." She gently stroked the cats soft white fur, allowing it to caress her fingertips. The cat moved after a few moments and then let out a long meow before sitting up on the pillow. Anna got up from the bed, swinging her pale legs forward and putting on her black morning slippers.
"Briiiiiiing"BRINNNG"! Anna turned her head towards the sound and found her phone going off wildly on top of her vanity. She walked quickly towards it and picked up the phone.
Ivory-
I'm coming over.
Anna raised an eyebrow and then smiled before quickly pushing up her phone and typing into the keyboard to send her friend a reply.
"Roger that.I'll make some coffee :)
She hit the send button and then decided to send a message to Requiem since she had already started messaging.
Good Morning! Hope you finished your History homework or Mr. Hamlin is going to be >:[.
She closed her phone and laughed after sending it message, placing it on the vanity and moving back towards the bed."Come on Luna dear, lets go get ready for the day. She reached down and picked up the white cat into her arms, watching as it purred and snuggled against her.
Anna let out long yawn as she carried her cat towards the bathroom, placing Luna onto a small purple pillow and moving towards the shower.
It didn't take long for Anna to get ready after showering. Her hair naturally curled and all she had to do was brush it, brush her teeth, and apply her chap stick.
"Perfect!" She said slapping down her cherry flavored lip balm and making a kissy face at the mirror. Luna let out a meow of appreciation and jumped off her pillow to
move around Anna's legs, gently nudging her.
"Well shall we go make coffee and get ready for Ivory then?"
She walked quickly down the stairs, her brown curly hair bouncing lightly as she moved. She moved towards the kitchen and proceeded to begin making coffee.
"I wonder if Ali is awake yet..."
OOC Notes
Alright. Sounds good! I'm excited to see you. I'll see you at the book store in a while. <3 -
Requiem pressed send, watching the message send and then her phone buzzed again in her hands and she would tilt her head, looking down to see it was from... Anna! Requiem smiled, looking at the text and she giggled at it, biting her lip with a grin.
Morning, Anna. And yes, yes. I did. Everything is finished and in my back pack; ready for Monday. Are you going to the party tonight?
Requiem sent that message then she would run over to the counter, grabbing her small black messenger bag with skulls and pretend blood splatters on the sides. She watched as Bryan would walk upstairs, carrying a huge bag of popcorn and some pop. How did he stay so fit and eat so much junk food? She would never understand. Requiem shook her head and grabbed her name tag for the book store, and she made her way over to the couch and shook her mom gently.
Her mother stirred. "Requiem... oh god. What time is it?" her mother said, struggling to sit up. Requiem helped her, looking at her with a sympathetic frown.
"Nearly 12, mom... you got home late again didn't you?" Her mom only needed to look Requiem in the eyes; and Requiem sighed. "You should go upstairs, get some sleep and I'll make dinner tonight for Bryan and I. But you need to get some rest before your shift starts again." Requiem helped her mother up, gently nudging her towards the stairs.
"Alright... thank you dear. .. Have a good day, okay?" her mother said with a scratchy voice and then Requiem watched her stumble up the stairs and into her room, the door barely closing and then a small bump... meaning her mother had just collapsed on her bed. Requiem sighed sadly; her mother had been exhausted every morning, every night. Trying to keep up with the bills and food. Requiem was working to help out too; but Bryan was still always on his lazy ass. Requiem would sigh again and make her way to the door, walking outside and she instantly felt rain pouring down on her head.
She bolted to her electric blue pontiac vibe, jumping into the driver's seat and she would lean back, huffing as she saw Bryan closing the door to the house and glaring at Requiem for letting the cold air in. Requiem only rolled her eyes, clipped her seat belt, and pulled out of the driveway and headed down the street, rain pounding on her windows.

He frowned as he started running his fingers through his hair, it was starting to curl a little. Time for a cut. He yawned before standing up and saying, "What is it?" He wasn't trying to be rude, of course, he was just asking what he had to go fix. He was sure it was just a busted heater or something, but he never knew.
"Mrs. Webber's heaters out, I need you to go fix it for me. It'll be easy for you, and it's my day off." He really hated when his dad used that card to guilt him into going, "Then you can do whatever. Go hang out with Anna or something." Ali nodded and went to get dressed, there was no point in taking a shower before working after all. After he was dressed, he headed out to his truck and began to drive. It was almost noon, but he was still tired, he was still a teenager.
He was extremely happy to find the heater was an easy fix, he managed to get in, fix it, and get out in about a half hour. Got a cookie, too. His job had some perks to it on occasion. His truck needed gas so he stopped for that before going home. It really wasn't that odd to see him absently chewing on a cookie or something of the sort while pumping his gas, he tended to sort of zone out while he waited. Anna would tell you that much, it was like his mind had just completely left the picture. Once the gas was done pumping, however, Ali came back to life.
He paid for his gas and decided to text Anna, hoping he wouldn't be waking her up or anything.
Hey beautiful, you up yet? Maybe? Yeah...So, what's up?
He re-read his text and frowned, ah well, his texts to Anna always seemed awkward, though he didn't know why. He wasn't nearly that awkward while he was talking to Anna (Most of the time) so he had no idea why his texts were. He chuckled to himself as he started his drive back home. Maybe his mom would make him some tea, or maybe he'd just go back to half sleep, half text Anna mode. He wasn't sure at the time.

Nogond went into the shower to make himself ready for the day. He needed to gain access into Lance life as a friend and find out what his weakness was.
After finishing his breakfast he sat down and began meditating about his next step.
OOC Notes
She had two messages , one from Requiem and one from Ali. She glanced at both messages and then smiled before eagerly typing away first to Req.
I think I might go. I'll drag Ali with me, try to get him to meet some new people:).What are you wearing though? Is it formal or...oh sorry I'm babbling aren't I?<3
Anna giggled as she hit send and glanced at Ali's message.
Hey beautiful, you up yet? Maybe? Yeah...So, what's up?"
Anna felt lucky she had Ali. He called her beautiful and gorgeous instead of hot.He brought her soup on the very rare occasions she was sick. He was a wonderful boyfriend all in all.
Heya handsome! Yes I'm up, and I'm just making coffee for Ivory and I. By the way do you want to go to the party with me tonight?:)<3
She didn't know if he would say yes but she had a fair amount of hope. Ali was quiet but that didn't make him antisocial! She paused before hitting send and decided to write more.
You did your history homework right?:)
She smirked and then hit send, her nails clicking lightly agaisnt the button. Everyone knew her as the motherly type. She made sure EVERYONE did their homework whether they liked it or not.
OOC Notes
He waited about a half hour before getting to his feet again. If he went at a leisurely pace then by the time he reached the book store, she should be just starting work. He checked himself in the mirror. For a man of his lifestyle it was hardly necessary to worry about one’s presentation to others, but for him it was a matter of pride. With a nod he grabbed a coat and an umbrella, and stepped out the front door.
The rain seemed to have picked up further still. Nobody else was venturing out of their houses. It was, after all, a weekend, and very few people had to. Which was the best thing about foul weather – the streets could be as solitary as they were at night. With a satisfied grin, he began the walk into town.
OOC Notes
Roger that.I'll make some coffee :)
She let her fingers move swiftly over the keyboard in response.
Non-fat, please. Extra caffeine. Thank ya. :D
The party was still on her mind. One of the local schoolgirls, Emma What's-Her-Name, was hosting a Winter party that night. She'd honestly forgotten about it since Blake remineded her. It was still on her mind when she arrived at Anna's house and parked on the side of the driveway. She sat in the warm cab for a moment, sending the same text to a few different people, hoping it would wake them all up and smiling mischeviously.
Yo. Going to the party?
Then she yanked the hood of her jacket over her head and rushed over to Anna's porch, tapping on her door.
OOC Notes
You know...the usual. I got a cookie though! :D You and Ivory can have the coffee...Not that there's anything WRONG with coffee, but, you know. Party? Well, you know I can't say no to you. Want to show up in my ugly beat up pickup? Erm, ALMOST done with my history homework. Just have a tiny bit more to do. Tell Ivory I said hi, btw.
His love of sweets certainly showed through his text messaging, he always had to point out when he got a cookie or anything of the sort. He managed to get most of the way back home before his phone went off again, he waited until he got home and sat there by the curb, reading it. "Oh, Ivory..." He mumbled to himself as he quickly tapped back his response.
Yep.
His texts were never particularly long, unless he was texting Anna. He could text Anna forever, no joke. He would, too, if he didn't have to pay every minute he went over his monthly allowance. Actually, he didn't have to pay, he just had to work extra hours. He would honestly rather pay the money, but oh well. After insuring the text was good and sent, he headed inside his house where he got the greeting, "Why the hell aren't you at least wearing a hood?!" From his mom.
He shrugged, "I was tired." Was his response before he headed upstairs to take a quick shower. Before he did he grabbed his phone and send a message to Gabe.
Hey. I have nothing to do and Anna's hanging with Ivory. Wanna come over or something?
OOC Notes
The smell of the coffee seemed to awaken his senses just a little, as well as the hot liquid itself that was now sliding down his throat. He set the mug on the counter and patted the sides of his dark plaid pajama pants, forgetting he didn't have pockets, and therefore didn't have his phone on him. He scooped his mug from the counter and padded back down the hallway to his bedroom. His covers were a mess, as well as the rest of his room, which he usually liked to keep neat and organized. The caffeine from the coffee was slowly starting to take effect as his mind cleared from it's morning fog and popped back into action. He grabbed his phone, his first thought was to text Anna. When he checked his phone though, he noticed a message from Ali.
Hey. I have nothing to do and Anna's hanging with Ivory. Wanna come over or something?
Gabe thought for a moment, trying to recall any plans he had already made. When he was sure he didn't have any except for maybe that night, he slid his phone up as his thumbs started moving across the keys.
Sure. I'll be there in twenty.
He typed back quickly, then sent it. He had plenty of time to take a shower and get to Ali's house in twenty minutes. Ali lived a street over, and Gabe could get to his house within three minutes when walking. He grabbed a towel and slung it over his shoulder, heading for the bathroom for a quick, ten minute shower. On the way, he slid his phone up again, deciding to see if Ember was awake yet. He knew she probably was, and was more than likely hanging out with Ivory, Anna, and Requi.
Mornin, Love. Sleep well?
Gabe wasn't one for texting. He enjoyed it as much as he liked talking on the phone, which wasn't saying much. He preferred to see the person he was talking to face-to-face. He set his phone on the bathroom counter as he stripped and stepped under the hot water, pushing his hair out of his face. Ten minutes later, he stepped out and dried off, then wrapped the towel around his waist as he headed back to his room to get changed.
OOC Notes
No. Just a fun party. I honestly don't know yet. I've never been a fan of getting all dressed up.
Requiem got out of the car, getting her name tag and pinning it on her shirt. The rain was still pouring and she had to bolt towards the store crawling through the door as she bounded into the dry air of the store. There were a few people there; some sitting at the cafe on their laptops, others shopping around and looking through the isles of books throughout the store.
She would walk over to the counter at the cash registers, smiling at Dave, one of her friends who was working there. "Hey Dave; I know. I'm early." she said, smiling at him as she slid her phone into her right pocket and tightened the ponytail on her hair.
Dave grinned at her. "We all know why you come here early. So where is Mr. Dark, tall, and handsome?" Dave teased, running a hand through his curly black brown hair and his brown eyes sparkled at her. She would tilt her head with a grin.
"He'll be here." she said as she pulled out her own book from under the counter and began reading.
OOC Notes
When he was a block from the precinct where the book store was, he pulled on his coat to straighten it and looked ahead. Only a few cars in the car park, but one of them was Requiem's. So he knew he hadn't set out too early.
He slipped into the store quietly, immediately spotting Requiem behind the counter reading. He cast an eye over the new releases, though as usual there was little to grab his attention immediately in that section. So instead he sidled up to the counter in front of her.
"Anything behind the counter that might interest me?" he said, allowing the ambiguity to sit for a moment before tilting his head towards the book in her hand, and suppressing a wry grin.
OOC Notes
Requiem glanced at Dave, who was giving her a smirk as Requiem would roll her eyes and she looked back up at Winter. "I missed you." she said, a sincere smile on her lips as she tilted her head slightly while she gazed at him.
OOC Notes
"Me too." he said gently. "These daywalkers keep you far too busy. Or perhaps I just need to 'get a life'."
It was Requiem who'd originally pointed out the irony of him using that phrase.
In the moment he forgot completely about books, and his mind turned instead to when the obstacle of the shop counter could eventually be removed.
"So tell me about this to-do later today." he said slyly, "Do you think it will be able to handle us?"

She was about to respond when she heard a knock at the door to which she responded by yelling."If your here to sell religion or any other service leave. If your Ivory come on in girly!" She smirked and then started typing a message back to Ali.
Haha I'm glad you got a cookie! And hey I love that pickup!I'll tell Ivory you said hi so tell Gabe and Lance I said hi too:). Make sure Gabe and Lance finish their history Hw too love.TTYL!!
Anna giggled as she shut the phone and placed it into her jeans pocket. She glanced at the clock and then let out a sigh as she saw how late it was getting, for the afternoon at least.
"Time for Jeopardy!" She said slightly excited as she turned on the small plasma her dad had placed in the kitchen.
Anna was constantly being made fun of for her love of trivia games and Scrabble. She couldn't help liking to learn new things or the fact she actually enjoyed school.
She moved to go sit on one of the stools and watched as Alex Trebeck, the host of Jeopardy began asking questions.
"THESE 3 NATIONS EACH BORDER THE WORLD'S LARGEST & SMALLEST OCEANS"
Anna smirked and then responded to the question by saying"What are the United States, Canada & Russia?"
"What are,Canada,Russia, and the United States?"
"Correct!"
Of course it was right. Anna usually was after all.
Anna let out a laugh and continued watching, waiting for Ivory to get her butt inside so they could drink the coffee she had made.

Ivory laughed.
"This is the largest dork in the world," she announced playfully in a voice shockingly like the host's. She strode over to the coffee machine and grabbed a mug from the cupboard, pouring the coffee in and adding a dose of creamer. She wrapped her hands around the mug to warm them and took a seat at the counter, eyes flickering from the game show to the girl who looked engrossed in the show. "Enjoying yourself?" she smiled.

It was simple enough. He got a message back from Ivory, he didn't bother responding to that one, either. She knew him, so she hopefully wouldn't get her feelings hurt over it or anything. Then he headed to take himself a quick shower, no more than ten minutes, tops, and getting re-dressed in the bathroom. His parents would love any opportunity to tease their shy son, so he tried not to give them any, sure, he often failed in that endeavor, especially when he had Anna over, but at least she handled it well. He was honestly scared to hear what they would say this time Gabe came over. They always had something to say when he had friends over. He just hoped it wouldn't be too bad, but since his dad was home, you never knew.
Then his phone went in his pocket and he headed to the kitchen. He smelled two of his favorite things in there: brownies and tea. He grinned and asked, "How long 'till everything's done?" Then as an afterthought, "Gabe's coming over, by-the-way."
His mom laughed, "It'll be done soon enough and good, I like to see you with your friends. Honestly, I don't know how you turned out so shy with me as your mother!"
Ali wasn't to say it was probably because she was his mother that he was so shy, but instead he just shrugged and said, "I don't know."

But then she looked back at him, smiling softly. "I think it will be okay... and of course, we can go have our own alone time afterwards... the woods sound okay?" she asked, before she noticed a few more people were walking into the store. She sighed and she would take his right hand in her left. "Come on... let's go to the cafe area." she said, and she started pulling him away from the counter, not wanting to work yet.
OOC Notes
He refrained from answering her 'thinking-out-loud' comment on what she should wear. Her style of dress was a part of what made her unique, and he would never dream of denying himself the surprise of seeing what she would come up with herself. And then to what she said next he answered:
"You sure about the woods?" he asked with a wink, "I hear at night you can run into all sorts of ghosts, ghouls, vampires and the like. If you believe in such things." He then added in a low voice, "But perhaps that's why you like to go there so much...for the company."
He allowed himself to be led by the hand over to the café area, but as he walked he felt his phone buzz in his pocket. He knew Requiem only had a short time before she would be on the clock, so he decided to check it later. What could be so important after all...
He recalled the name's she'd mentioned; Anna and Ali. Ali he knew vaguely, having been left alone with him at Requiem's house one time whilst Anna and Reqi had gone briefly out to the store. They'd talked a little, nothing seriously, he seemed like a decent guy. Anna, he hardly knew at all apart from to recognise. It was odd, since as far as humans went she was clearly pleasant enough, but there was, nevertheless, something about her which bothered him. Something he couldn't place...something almost instinctual...
"It will be nice to get to know Ali a little better." he said obtusely, "And Anna, that's his girlfriend right? Whom you know through Ali?"
He kept the questions gentle, since he was sure if there was anything to be concerned about it would come to light in due course. But an impatient curiosity was something else he'd gleamed from Requiem during their time together.
OOC Notes
"Yes. Anna and Ali. And Ivory should be there... I don't know who else will join us though. There will be some people from school too." she shrugged lightly and smiled. "We'll see how it goes." she would then look down at her shoes as they sat down at a small table and she looked over at the cafe area where people were getting coffee and other treats. She would tiredly yawn and then she would rub her eyes a bit, trying not to smear her makeup and sighed, looking at him.
"I had the nightmare again." she said tiredly, looking at him with a sad and slightly irritated face.
OOC Notes
"The wood...the eyes...the teeth..." he said empathetically, "Common images of fear for one who enjoys the company of the night. But you know that the perk of being a human is that your dreams don't have to mean anything beyond what is in your heart and mind."
He squeezed her hand encouragingly, rubbing his thumb over the surface of hers.
"Do you feel afraid of anything?"

Maybe it could start out all selective like that and end up as a war between all four?

Re: [OOC] Events and Ideas
Are we going to say that the conflict is 'all out' between the four, or maybe circular? Like, vampire vs werewolves, werewolves vs witches, witches vs demons, demons vs vampires?
