Axleia was sitting down on a concrete fence type structure. Her bass laying next to her, a song book in her lap. She ran her fingers over the notes and then sat down her bass and played the few notes she had ran her finger over.

James Warhart sat next to Alexis, his favorite guitar, his Malmsteen Stratocaster, in hand. he absentmindedly plucked the intro to Blood Brothers by Iron Maiden. he stared off into the distance, listening to Alexis practice.

Flower Moreno quietly sat on the floor, tapping her pencil to the beat distractedly. She had several books open: an English-Spanish dictionary, a workbook, and a music theory book. She rubbed her head, pressing her eyes closed for a moment and just listening to the beat. "What is this?" she muttered quietly to herself, translating a few more lines of text. She began to hum her notes of the song tiredly. If only she could drag her piano around with her...

Axleia sighed as she messed up one of the chords. She picked back up the book and then tried again after looking at it. She messed up again. Finally, she got so frustrated, she threw her practice book on the ground and crossed her arms huffing.

James Warhart stopped playing and opend a can of soda. he took a swig of the soda and looks at the book, now lying on the ground. "would you like some help with that song?" he asks Alexis.

Flower Moreno pushed her book from her lap and sighed softly. "English makes no sense," she complained before crawling over and picking up the book again and setting it next to Alexis. "Don't hurt the book. It didn't do anything, I promise," she stated with a small smile at Alexis before reaching over and pulling the dictionary to herself again, pouring over the words.

Axleia looked between James and Flower. "I think the books broke. I have been practicing that chord just as it says, and yet, it still doesn't sound right. So yeah, I think I need some help." she said to James. She still glared at the book.

James Warhart pickes up the book and flipped open to the page Alexis had been on and studied it for a while. he fingers the written Chords on his guitar, while looking at the notes. then he digs in his pocket for a while, coming out with a pencil. he scribbles out the written fingering and writes a new one for the chord Alexis had been having trouble with. "try it now" he says, handing the book back to Alexis.

Axleia tried the new finger placements and smiled when the desired sound came from the bass. She smiled brightly, tucking some brown hair behind her ear. "Thanks James." she said as she continued to practice the new song.

James Warhart smiles and returns to his soda. he chugs the rest of the can and then goes back to playing Iron Maiden songs. somewhere in the Aces High he somehow switches to Blooddrunk by Children of Bodom.

Flower Moreno nodded along to the beat again, giving Alexis another slight smile as it sounded much better. She made a few notes in Spanish in her book and frowned, looking over a single word over and over..."Embelles...Embellesh...Embellishmente?" she verbally stumbled, rubbing her head again. Stupid headache...She again pushed the book away, listening to them playing.

Amy Sorensen sat on the wooden park bench, her acoustic Blues King held in her hands. Every string felt familiar and comforting to her now. Amy didn't notice she was quietly humming as she strummed, her fingers sliding over the fretboard, putting the perfect pressure on the perfect strings. Her mind wandered as to what she would do next with her life, she couldn't play rent and was about 10 days from getting evicted from her residence. Maybe she shouldn't have blown so much money on guitars.

James Warhart looks up at the sound of the acoustic guitar. he sees the girl with the acoustic and listens to her playing for a bit. without a word too the other two he gets up and goes to sit on the bench.

Amy Sorensen stopped playing as the stranger sat down next to her, her hand clamping around the neck and the strings, cutting off any sound and looks up to him. "Hey... Can I help you?" She grinned, a stark contrast contrast to the panic she was feeling over her current housing issues.

Axleia looked as James went and sat with the girl with the acoustic. She just went back to practicing chords.

Flower Moreno tilted her head as James got up and went to the new girl and then looked at Amy questioningly. She tilted her head and coughed a few times. "She is good, yes? Good sound?" she questioned with her thick accent, tapping her hand to the beat again.

James Warhart smiles back at the girl. "i was listening to you playing, it sounded really good." he tells her, messing with the frets on his guitar. "how long have you been playing? he asks

Amy Sorensen nods, "Oh, well.. Thanks. 4 years, but I mean 4 years of only this." She sighed and went back to playing, playing the first song to same to mind, oddly enough it was 'Stairway to Heaven.' one of the most well recognized intro riffs ever. She peered over to his guitar, "You play too?"

Axleia nodded to Flower and sat down beside her and started playing still.

Flower Moreno smiled a bit, being able to guess it. She splayed her hands across the dictionary and began to play the keys from memory on the pages, looking over at James and the other girl out of the corner of her eye. She looked over as Alexa sat next to her and smiled slightly again.

"i have been playing for a little over seven years now. have you done anything professionally?" he asks

Amy Sorensen shrugs, "Sort of, I work in a bar now, playing a few nights a week." She looks at the two other girls, "Who are they? Sisters, friends.. 'more than friend' friends?"

Flower Moreno nodded distracted as she continued to play a phantom keyboard, looking over her vocabulary again. "Embell...Embelle...Emblellishedmente...Embellishment," she finally fumbled out, letting out a huge breath and falling backward dramatically.
