Alli stared at the headline of the Tamonia News.

MAYORS DAUGHTER FOUND DEAD!

It practically screamed murder, even before reading the article. This was only one of the 5 murders so far. She sighed and put her forehead on her hands, "Ohmigawd. They're all vampires," she groaned, whoever was doing this, vampires obviously rubbed them the wrong way.

Alli picked up the newspaper and continued reading;

Around 5:30 this morning, one Mr. John Kingston was out for his daily jogs when he came upon a bloody, pale body. Alarmed with his discovery, he immediatly called the Tamonia Police, who rushed to the scene. In an interview with Mr. Kingston he told of his terrible discovery.

"At first, I thought it was a vampire-attack gone wrong, just an unknown human girl whose life she gave to a vampire, but paniced. When the TP came, and rolled her over, I was awestruck, not only was it a vampire it was the Mayor's Daughter!" he shook, his face going pale, "I just don't know how much longer this is all going to go on," he sighed, and asked if he could have a minute to gather himself.


Alli herself was awestruck. Who could kill a vampire? Another vampire, of course, but there'd be no reason for it. Human? No, not a single human could kill a young vampire like the mayor's girl. Several humans. The thought hit her. She sighed and looked around, immediatly paranoid.

Rafael sat in his gritty hideout, listening to the TV news. He lived in a very secluded place, where his neighboors barely even knew he existed. Almost all his walls were cramped with crates filled with weaponry and ammunition.
The coffee table in front of him is neatly lined with the separate parts of a M195 Sniper Rifle. He was busy cleaning and repairing his weapons.
The news of the murder of the Mayor's daughter caught his attention.
This didn't look like a random homicide....

Teseska grunted heavily, pushing her weight up again, while maintaining her balance. She came back up to a handstand, before slowly lowering her face to the ground, and again repeating the process. She wobbled slightly as she felt fatigue finally begin to grasp her. Sweat dripped from her head, dripping to the wooden flooring beneath it. She struggled as she pushed herself up again. Lifting her entire bodyweight was not easy... She did one last repitition, before bending her arms, and curling her body forward, causing her to roll backwards, and allow her to get in the upright position. She sighed heavily, and lie on her back. Her arm came forth, and wiped the perspiration from her face.

She finally sat forth, and stood up. She moved her hair behind her, and pontailed it, before walking into her kitchen from her gym. Retrieving a glass from the cabnet, she went to her sink, and filled it with cool water. She quickly helped herself to the water, downing the tall glass in seconds, before walking into her living room. Her apartment was simple and basic, but she had turned it into all she needed. She sat down on the small sofa, and reached to the television remote, flipping on the idiot box. What she saw was shocking. These was a report on how the Mayor's daughter had been killed. She set down the glass, and turned to watch with intrest, her indigo eyes peering into the screen. She examined the woman's as best as she could from television.... But got no trace.

She knew that this was probably her new employer's doings, and knew that it would be best not to question it. Still. She questioned weither or not Blood Lust was behind it. She digressed. At least another one of those blood-sucking freaks was in the ground now.

Alli stood up and frowned, hearing her tummy rumble, she walked over to her fridge. Opening the door she spotted her nurtients. Grimacing, she held the bag away from her and pulled out sandwhich stuff. After preparing the sandwhich like a human would, she then applied the fake blood. It wasn't that Alli was merciful to humans and refused to drink their blood, she was deathly allergic to it, so she had fake blood prepared for her at a Vampire Illness Center.

After finishing off her sandwhich, she happily plopped down on her couch and turned on the TV. Not wnating to know more about the murder, she flipped onto cartoons.

Rafael walked down the gritty streets of Tamonia, one of nastiest districts in the city. He needed to see his serum provider, and he had people he needed to kill.
The streets were definitly not a place to walk about at night, especially for humans. Street thugs, gangs, and bikers rode through the streets, laughing like hyenas.
" Somebody help! " cried a woman from one of the alleyways.
It appeared as though a human female was being chased by a group of thugs.
" Come on lady, we're just kindly asking for a quick sip? " Said one of them. They were cornering her against the wall.
One of them grabbed her by her hair and tilted her head to the side, revealing a smooth neck line. She closed her eyes, ready to accept her grim fate.
" Let her go. " Rafael ordered, walking into the alleyway.
They turned around, looking annoyed.
" You better fuck off before we rip you to pieces. " warned one of them.
" Run away, or you'll all die. " Rafael replied.
Each of them lunged at Rafael at alarming speeds, only to be torn apart one by one. Their blood splattered against the pavements in a matter of seconds.
" Oh my God.. I dont know how I should thank you.. " said the woman, wincing her eyes from the gore.
" This is not the time to be wandering about the streets woman. " Rafael replied, approaching her.
As he got close to her, he felt as though all his pores on his skin were contracting. His heartbeat rose by a multitude.
He knew he wanted her blood, wanted to feel it running down his esophagus and through his veins. He wanted to drain her down dry.
Rafael grimaced, grasping the side of his head.
" Just, get, out of here woman. Run! "
She was immediately alarmed and began to hurry down the streets.

Alli sighed, realising she would have to get to school if there was a murderer on the loose or not. She flipped her hair over her shoulders headed upstairs to get ready. Even getting dressed in the hot sticky weather felt like a chore to Alli, and she wasn't exactly the girl who liked chores. She yawned and tossed her bag over her shoulder and poked her head into her parents room, they were still asleep. Even though they weren't her real parents, she loved them like they were. Alli had been turned when she was 18, so she's been 18 for a long time now. She met Jen and Greg just outside Tamonia 30 years ago, and they took her as their kid, so they could have a happy family forever. They had lost their unborn baby when they were human, and had always wanted a child, so when one just appeared, they of course took her in.

Alli smiled and leaned over her parents bed, kissing them both on the cheek before turning and heading outside. She walked outside and felt the sun wash over her.
"Maybe I can get a tan," she joked, since vampires were always pale and couldn't exactly get tans. She pushed her hair behind her ear and started the walk towards school, not exactly looking forward to the other vampires teasing her about her infamous allergy to human blood while humans defended her shamelessly. she pursed her lips and continued walking.

The previous night, Rafael went up to see his serum provider, Alice Gabor, a vampire physician.
Her lab was a couple blocks up from the west bank of downtown. Rafael walked through the chilly coridors featuring several blood samples and test tubes. Alice was staring into her computer screen.
" Hey Rafa. " She greeted, looking at the screen.
" Out of serums so soon? "
Rafael walked up behind her and put his hand on her shoulder.
" Hows the research going? How are you doing? " He asked, eyeing the screen.
" Good, I guess, even though the metabolic chemical activity in a vampire is almost impossble to find a straight connection.. " She replied sarcastically.
She got up and walked over to a science refrigerator, taking out a full set of serums.
She was surprised when she actually looked at Rafael, with his clothes drenched in blood.
" Ugh, what happened to you? " She asked.
" Look,this isn't the first time you've seen me wearing my victims' blood? " Rafael replied, grinning.
" You know what I do for a living. "
Alice injected a shot with a full serum.
" Neighborhood thugs I bet. You're really the vigilante Rafa. " Alice scoffed.
She pulled up his sleeve and applied a anesthetic.
" You're a big boy right? " Alice asked, injecting him with the needle.
Rafael's face tightened. His legs began to shudder.
She pulled out the needle.
" I'll never get used to that taste.. " Rafael complained.
Alice discarded the serum and packed a full set of serums into a box, filling it with ice.
" I'm really proud of you for choosing this life-style Rafa. There should be more vampires like us. " Alice complimented.
" Yeah whatever.. " Rafael replied, pulling down his sleeve.
