"Suddenly, I Know I'm Not Sleeping."
There was a rumble that shook the forest like an electric shockwave, sending clouds of birds out of the trees and every animal running. Trayla's eyes fluttered open at a crash akin to thunder, and was able to move just in time to avoid being flattened by one of the more obscure creatures of the Vanaheim Forest. The young forest girl peeked out from behind a large tree, studying the creature as it bulldozed through the thick underbrush. Normally a calm creature, the Aural was not easily frightened from its nesting and feeding grounds in the south side of the forest. Whatever that shockwave that had sent the Vanaheim into a frenzy, it was dangerous. Trayla could tell just by the reaction of the entire wood... and it unsettled her.

:s u m m a r y:
Strange shockwaves have been hitting the land of Testra, particularly in the darker, unexplored regions such as the Vanaheim Forest. Something is growing, something the Overlord calls the Darkwave; and it's not just a rumor that it's out for the death of the Testran people, using disease, famine, drought, and fire as its weapons. But why? Legend has it that several hundred years ago, the Darkwave was supressed by the Testran people; particularily those people of the Vanaheim Forest, who are rumoured to have all died in the process.
The Overlord Vaan (may he live forever) has ordered the best fighters in the kingdom of Testra to come together and combat the Darkwave that plagues the peaceful life of the people. He sends them off on their journey, possibly to their deaths. These people don't know the layout of the forest or what creatures to expect — no one does — so it comes as a large shock when they meet two people who have lived in the forest all their lives. The last of the Vanaheimians.

- Rule of Cool: If it's awesome and it moves the story foreward, go for it, as long as it's not utter power-playing bullcrap.

I do. I just started at the ripe old age of sixteen, and I've taught myself Ode to Joy. Le skillz! Yeah, I got it as a present for Xmas, cuz all I ever did was bitch and moan about how I wanted to play sooo bad. I already play the piano and the clarinet, so I wanted to try the violin. I've always loved the gorgeous melencholy violin music that you hear in darker anime, and I didn't want to play it on the piano cuz it just didn't sound right. Anyway, my boss got it for me as a 'Thanks for being our only adopted daughter' present, mostly. I have named it Alois, after Alois Trancy from Black Butler. Such a sexy little minx. Its nicknames are Danna-sama, and Your Highness; and it inspired me to name my piano Claude. xD
I'm fine. I was watching Black Butler and Alois died. I just started crying and I couldn't stop. Now, I've had his two themes playing on repeat for the past fourteen hours. xD I'm cool now, though. No problems.
