Neon, otherwise known as Alexi Wolfe, paced about his room at Titans South. He was angry with himself; he felt as if he had let his team down. And now he had called the other Titans in for help. With a sigh and a shake of his head, he made his way across his room to the door, and left the room. 'At least I did what was right for the team...' he thought with a frown. He wasn't happy that he had to do it though. He had figured they would be able to take on the Brotherhood themselves. But things had just happened too fast, and he had begun to doubt his leadership skills. He knew that he was a god leader, though; He knew it... So why hadn't things gone his way? He just didn't have the answer for that...

Making his way down to the gathering room, he gazed around. It didn't seem to him that anyone else had arrived yet, and he wasn't exactly sure where the rest of his team members were. So he just sat on the overstuffed couch, and flipped on the large television in front of him. Flipping through some channels, he found something to calm his mind, and so with a smile, he began to watch it. He was pretty sure that no one else would find it interesting though, but he didn't care - it was Russian Opera, and he loved it.

Reclining back against the back of the couch, he closed his eyes to enjoy his music, the thoughts of the Brotherhood far from his mind for the moment.

Gemini was rustling through a pile of rubble a couple hundred yards from the desecrated Titans South Tower, searching for any spellbooks of hers that she may be able to salvage. "Sigh... all of my favorite books have been destroyed, it seems." she moped, her head hanging low. She discovered a couple that were heavily burnt, but she figured it was better to take them back then to just leave them. With a couple of the damaged tomes under her arm, she took out her scepter and pointed it towards her feet. "Aeomia Desolum" she recited from memory, conjuring a disk of white light with which to levitate on. She soared through the air towards the tower, taking note of the sun moving nearer and nearer to the horizon.

She flew in through the large void where the main room windows use to be, landing on the carpet as her light disk dissipated. She was immediately distracted by the unpleasant sound of loud opera music on the tv, which she was shocked was still working. She noticed Neon sleeping on the couch with his head reclined. "Hmm... you seem rather relaxed considering all the chaos that's recently ensued around here..." she said, making a point to not sound as if she were being condescending to her friend. She set her ravaged books on the floor and plopped herself down indian style, flipping through the pages and copying down all the intact spells onto separate pieces of paper. She could tell Neon was upset; she could only imagine the guilt he was feeling. She was feeling it too, and she was only second in command.

"It must be pretty hard on him..." she thought.

"You can't feel guilty about what happened." she started, breaking the silence, still copying down spells. "We were all responsible... we were caught between a rock and a hard place..."

"Hmm... you seem rather relaxed considering all the chaos that's recently ensued around here..."

Neon opened one eye to look over at Gemini, who was now sitting Indian Style on the floor. Like his normal self, a grin spread across his face. "I'm not relaxed..." he began, though the grin still remained. He knew that she was only playing around with him. But she had been with him through it all too - she knew exactly what he had been through.

"You can't feel guilty about what happened. We were all responsible... we were caught between a rock and a hard place..."

Neon now had both of his eyes open, and was slouching slightly, looking over at the female. "But I can't help but feel guilty. Its my responsibility to see that things run smoothly. And they didn't..." He grabbed the remote, and turned the volume on the TV down until it was almost silent. Like Gemini had been, he too was surprised that it still worked. They were lucky that this floor really hadn't been as damaged as some of the others...

"Oh. And it wasn't just a rock and a hard place. It was a rock slide and an unbreakable wall." Smiling a bit at his comment, he began to look at what the female was making on the floor. It appeared to be a bunch of tattered books - they looked like her spell books - and she was copying down what she could read from them. Neon couldn't help but frown again. That too, he felt, was his fault. If he had been a better leader, Gemini would still have all of her spells.

Laying down on the couch, the light Russian Opera music still playing in the background, Neon summoned up a pink energy orb between his hands. If this were to touch something, it might feel like a pinch, but not a hard one. Pink colored orbs were his weakest orbs, and the ones that he frequently played with around his teammates - they also took the least amount of energy to produce, so making hundreds of them at a time didn't even faze him.

Tossing the ball of neon colored energy between his hands, he continued to play around with the orb of energy. "Say, Gemini. Have you heard anything about the other Titans arrival yet?" He stopped playing with the neon pink ball just long enough to hear an answer from her, his eyes focused on her as she continued to write down different things from her tattered books.

Demi/Emilia (Titans West)

She could not comprehend, how they could so easily get close to falling. No, it was not understandable. Only the weak are defeated so easily, though perhaps all the hype and commotion about these people called Teen Titans, was just that. The towers were far from eachother, not close enough to walk by foot. However, this was not about to stop her from doing just that, going by foot. A shadowy figure could be seen on the top of the Titans Tower of the west area. It was still, almost so still that one would second guess whether or not it was human or not. The figure had stood there for nearly an hour, as this place was the figure's favorite spot. Within seconds, the being jumped off the top of the Titan's Tower, seemingly plummeting to the surface. But no, the figure only landed gracefully, and on one foot. The figure's other foot slowly making itself to the ground. Immeditely, it started running forward, its speed not that of a human, its figure no longer able to be seen. The only thing that could be seen was a blur of shadows. If one looked closely, they could see the figure was a female, her long hair flowing behined her. The figure immediately mad her way to another building, using the side of another to jump up between the both of them, and land on the top of one. It wasn't long before the figure was seen hopping from building to building. Quick, graceful, effortless.

"They are foolish." Em said out loud, as she hopped from the top of a building, towards a lower one beneath her. With every jump, she landed on one foot, and only continued to run. Despite the distance and speed, she did not tire. That is mean of you, you do not know what happened! You should not judge! Emilia thought to Em. Unlike Em, who was easily able to read Emilia's thought's Emilia was not able to read Em's. If Em was able to communicate with Emilia while occupying her body, it was through speech. Why must you travel on your own? Emilia asked in a high childish voice. Em was silent, uninterested in Emilia's thoughts. Cars and people could be heard beneath her, though to most of the naked eye she could not be seen, or her presence was too confusing to others to figure out. The distance would have been long to most, but Em, was not most people.

Some time later, Em stopped on a building adjacent to the build of Titan's south. It would have looked just like that of the west building, had it not had some wear and tear. Em stood still, observing the building. "I need you to get me on top of the building." she said, her voice lacking any emotion at all, her tone flat and boardering dark. Emilia, whom had be watching through the eyes of her own body, though sitting back and letting Em control it, immediately took control, Em now in the background. The eyes of the girl were now soft, she now had an innocence to her. The girl closed her eyes, and soon something emerged from mid air. It was a bird, barely visible. This bird was large in size, and was made of the wind element. Emilia looked up at the bird and smiled at it. The bird was silent, but eyed her quickly. As she raised her hand, the bird took hold of her with its claws made of wind, the wind itself lightly surrounded her body. Her dress, slightly visible, was flowing as she seemed to float towards the top of the south Titan's tower. As she landed, the bird then dissapeared, as did the innocence on the girl's face.

Em, then continued on her way towards the edge of the building. A blank expression on her face. Do you hear that? I think it's music. Emilia said to Em. Em then found the edge of the building and did a slow front flip, while grabbing what was a metal bar of some sort. As she did so, a small dagger slowly released itself from inside her right arm. No blood was visible, and no pain felt. As she fell down about a story, she landed gently on what was a windowsill, and grabbed the dagger, which immediately, turned into an umbrella of sorts. The umbrella was white in color, and made of material. Slight transparent. Em then turned around, observing what was behined the window. It was two people, two people which seemed to be in a relaxed state. How foolish. She thought to herself. "Operah music! I hear it!" Emilia shouted. However, Em did not shout it, it was purely of the mind and not heard.

The window, was only cracked, as to recieve some air, and was locked from inside. Em, unimpressed, closed her umbrella, and put it under the window, which seemed to cause some sort of electronic security malfunction within the window. Though was not heard. It was then Em forced the window open, and made her way inside. Not one for human interaction, socializing, nor normal entrances, Em walked towards the people and simply stood in front of them. In that moment, she challenged that of a marble statue. Emilia, had long blonde hair, with dark brown eyes, long black eyelashes, and was pale. She was somewhat short, and slim, and wore a black and white dress with black knee high boots and goves. The look on her face might have been morbid. Her expression was blank, there was no life in her eyes, as if she had no soul. It was almost impossible to even see her breath. A heartbeat could not be heard. Thoughts not read. It was as if she stared through the people in front of her, and not at them. While Emilia was excited to meet new people, and wished to help them, Em was unimpressed. "I am from the west tower. What is it that you need." It sounded like a statement, more than a question.

(My apologies!! I completely spaced on that one hahah)

Gemini was still copying down spells, struggling slightly with the ones who had just certain letters singed off the pages. "Ugh... Azarathian... I hate that language." she thought to herself, dipping her pen into a small inkwell to refill it.

"But I can't help but feel guilty. Its my responsibility to see that things run smoothly. And they didn't..." Neon spoke, hushing the volume on the tv. "Oh. And it wasn't just a rock and a hard place. It was a rock slide and an unbreakable wall."

Gemini giggled at his comment, still writing. "Most of these spells are still legible... the important ones, anyway." She replied, as if reading his mind about the guilt he felt for her books. Neon began tossing around a pink energy ball, one which she knew from experience was the weakest he could produce. She had often seen him tossing these about when bored.

"Say, Gemini. Have you heard anything about the other Titans arrival yet?"

"Mm, no unfortunately. Although I do hope they get here soon... we could certainly use the help cleaning up around here..." In her mind, she was actually anxious to have the other titans around just in case the Brotherhood decided to kick them while they were down, in which case, they would never be able to take them on their own. But her other half was worried about what might happen should they try to assault Titans Towers North, East, and West while they were open for attack. That was what bothered her the most about having to call in her fellow crime fighters. "Maybe I'm just worrying too much" she thought to herself. "Hmm.. Leg.... Legirium... Legirium..." she spoke to herself, trying to make out this one spell. "I don't remember this one... Legirium.. Orphaxus?" as she spoke it aloud, a bright white ball of light manifested itself from her scepter and shot up at lightning speed at the ceiling, blasting another hole in it. "Oopsie..." she covered her mouth with her two fingers, looking up at the ceiling which had so many holes in it from the attack it looked like swiss cheese. "Oh well, not like one more hole makes a difference at this point" she giggled trying to brush off her mistake.

Suddenly, she realized that somebody had been standing perfectly still in the middle of the living room. "Oh my goodness, how long have you been standing there..???" but there was no reply. She was very confused, wondering if maybe the twilight was getting to her. "Do you see the girl?" she turned to Neon.

"I am from the west tower. What is it that you need." she suddenly spoke.

"OH Demi!!" Mentally, Gemini was slapping her forehead. She could never remember all the titans from the other towers.. "Well things are kind of a mess right now... maybe we could use some help cleaning up first? What do you think, Neon?" She asked, addressing him as both her superior and her friend.

A slight gurgle rang in the young man's throat, blood escaping past his lips as the giant lifted him off the ground via the spines sticking through his gut. His remaining eye vaguely registered his opponent's other arm reeling back, the enormous fist morphing into a hammer of sorts.

"Fuck."

The spines that were the abomination's other hand suddenly became jagged as the force of the other hand's strike ejected their quarry to the other side of the room, ripping chunks of flesh and rupturing organs as they exited his body. He himself struck the far wall with an oddly wet 'Clang!', the holes in his armour leaking blood and other such vital fluids all over the floor.

His insides destroyed, his flesh torn, his bones broken, the inevitable was clear;

John Kernow was about to die.

There were no tears, no regrets, none of that dramatic garbage perpetuated by Hollywood. He had destroyed the doctor's device, he had saved the city, his friends and pretty well everything else that mattered.

His vision failing, Vigil adjusted the beam cannon attatched to his arm one last time as the shape-shifting beast approached to finish the job.

No, there was nothing to regret.

As the monster merged it's hands together in one giant blade, raised high and ready for the final blow, the young hero gathered up his last reserves of strength and hacked a wound into the beast's abdomen with a knife in one hand, and jammed the other one as far into the wound as it would go.

From inside the beast, the weapon emitted a steadily growing whine. Vigil couldn't help but show a defiant grin.

"...Owned."

There was a flash, and then there was nothing.



Vigil shook the memory from his head as he walked through the familiar halls of the tower, his visor scanning for any bombs, monitoring devices and other such things the Brotherhood may have left behind. It'd been two years since he fought in that underground facility, cut off from his team and unable to warn them of the mutagen bomb about to be unleashed upon Edge City. He would have died there, too, had the explosions on the mountain not immediately caught the attention of the other Titans and prompted them to investigate.

It took months to rebuild him, his body being damaged far beyond any hope of healing and forcing doctors to begin replacing organs and bodyparts with artificial substitutes, making him more machine than man. Even after that was done and over with, things never really got back to normal.

He could not go out on patrol, as his body was still adjusting to it's new composition and he hadn't built his current armour yet, and conversations with the other Titans were just never the same again. After another couple of months, he asked Gemini to take over as second-in-command in earnest, retired from the organization all together and went back home to Toronto, where, by some irony, he soon found himself doing the hero thing again anyway.

Having found nothing but rubble and dust by the time he reached the doors to the gathering room, he pushed the familiar portals open and entered, the sensors in his visor making note of little details like the room's temperature, the conductor of the opera and the year of the recording and the velocity of whatever the hell that was that Gemini just put through the ceiling.

"Oopsie..."

He smiled, some things never change.

As he approached his former colleagues he paused mentally as he noted the unfamiliar figure standing alongside them, his sensors picking up several... abnormalities in her biometrics.

Though curiosity nagged at him to do flip his scanner on and take a closer look, it is generally accepted that staring at strangers for no explained reason can lead to some serious misunderstandings. Instead, the young man pushed his curiousity to the back of his mind and removed his helmet, returning his vision to normal.

"Hey, guys..." he greeted as he took a seat on a slab of concrete the was once part of the ceiling "...Long time, no see."

'They are coming Andrew, move move move move move!' his thoughts echoed in his mind
Andrew urged himself to stand before the rock behemoth that towered over him outside the Titan's South Tower. He bit his lip making it bleed, the blood dripping to the wound flowing out of his side where he had been slashed with a blade.

He trembled for a moment and then prepared himself for the large colossal arm of rock that was descending towards his head. He lifted his arms, pushed the energy into his finger tips. Releasing the bright yellow oval of energy in front of him Repel It began to turn anti clockwise and as the arm was about to hit him he forced it up above his head and top body.

The arm flew back the way it came, repelled, the colossal rock giant groaned as the arm was repelled into his chest. Andrew fell to his knees in exhaustion, panting his arms holding him up and preventing him from collapsing into the ground. He couldn't give in, not yet. The arm was heading towards him again this time for his chest and front body, which would hit his lower body and head as well. "Dam it all" Andrew shouted and attempted to from another sphere, it was weak, but it was all he could manage Deflect The shield shattered in front of Andrew as the rock arm hit it like a battering ram on a glass door.

He was sent flying through the air as the arm broke through the shattered shield and hit his body, making him spew blood out of his mouth. Darkness covered his eyes.

Andrew opened his eyes he was sitting on top of the Titan's South Tower. He had failed back then but now he was determined to never allow himself to fall like he had, on that day. He cursed and stood on the edge and looked down, he saw a familiar figure moving into the tower below. Vigil He smiled and walked back towards the roof's exit and towards the inside of the tower. "~It's time to meet everyone again~" He said musically his khaki cream looknig cape flapping around him in the wind.

Sorahime opened her eyes for the third time that morning, trying to continue her nice slumber. She hadn't slept very well that night, and she was determined to regrasp the sleep she had lost. She squeezed her eyes tightly and threw the gray covers over her purple-haired head, burrowing deeper into her matress.

Suddenly, she heard music slithering into her room from down the hall. Ugh, she thought disdainfully, why did I agree to the room right down the hall from the living room? She decided that sleep wouldn't come to her, so she pulled herself from the mess-of-a-bed and stood very still on the cold, hard floor. She focused on the music for a minute, trying to decide on it's origin. Russian, maybe? She pondered, listening more closely. It started to decrease in sound, making it harder for her to decyfer the melody, so she merely shrugged and went to get dressed.

Before entering the living room area, she scanned to see who was there; Neon, she saw, with Gemini. They were conversing about something, and she felt the odd impulse not to interfer, as she didn't want to interupt a private conservation. She stood in the darkness of the hall for a minute, unsure of what to do, as she could hear their talk anyways. She decided to just go and sit, as it was about the same as standing foolishly in the dark. She padded quickly down the few stairs before the hallway and buzzed to the couch, blurring as she sat. She soon blushed, releazing she used her powers without knowing; she had that problem, and she was trying to get it under control.

"Hello, tomodachi-tashi." She smiled sweetly and looked at the two, running a hand through her dark purple hair. She averted her eyes to the screen, seeing it was indeed Russian. She grinned to herself then, folding her hands in her lap.

((I apologize for my epic lateness in posting. I'm still getting over taking the AP Exams. My brain and hand still hurt... Gah...))


"Leg... Legirium... Legirium... I don't remember this one... Legirium... Orphaxus?"

Neon flinched as a hole was blown in the ceiling - it was relatively small, and pretty much insignificant compared to the other holes that were already in the ceiling. But he couldn't help but sigh anyway. It was, after all, another hole that would need to be fixed.

"Oopsie..."

'Oh Gemini' he thought, a slightly amused look on his face. 'Always doing something to cheer me up, whether you know it or not...'

It was at that moment that he noticed that Gemini and himself were not alone. The orb that was in his hand began to glow a darker red color, but faded out almost as fast as soon as he recognized who was standing before them. "I am from the west tower. What is it that you need."

Neon grinned - finally, some of the others were arriving. Gemini spoke first, mentioning about cleaning. Neon nodded, looking about the room.

"Yeah. This place needs a bit of tiding up. There's no way that this will be fixed right away, but... some of the rubble should probably be moved. That, and we all need to be on guard for when the Brotherhood members decide to show their faces again." He frowned, standing up.

Vigil made his way into the room, greeting Neon. The black haired male couldn't help but grin towards him. "Yes. Long time, no see..." Neon said, making his way over to some rubble, pushing a lot of it into a pile. He was happy to be seeing Vigil again - they had grown close over the time that they had known each other...

Sorahime also made her way into the room, and Neon nodded to her in greeting as he continued to push smaller pieces of rubble into a large pile.



White Light found herself staring up at the mass that was Titans South. It was blatantly obvious that they had been under attack, and that the building was in dire need of fixing.

Eyes glowing, she walked into the building, her telekinetic abilities clearing the path for her. Making her way around, she followed the sound of loud opera music, the sound slowly diminishing as she found herself standing outside of what would be the living room. Looking into the room, she noticed that there were a lot of people there already. With a smile, she walked into the room, announcing her presence as she brushed her long blonde-white hair over her shoulder.

"I hope its okay, but I left myself in the front door..." She looked around, her eyes slowly loosing their glow as she left her powers die down. "I'm White Light, and I'm here to help in any way I can."
