Personality: Akira, like his sister, has always been gifted when it came to the mind, but his personality, some say, is strangely dark. He doesn't talk to people much and usually focuses on his studies. Akira isn't really the rude type, but he does keep his distance and has ended up with the other students nicknaming him the "Cold Genius." On the other side, Akira has his caring moments, and at times will help someone for seemingly no reason; then walk away as they are thanking him. The only person he seems to open up to is his sister of whom he is protective.
History: Having been the top in his classes, Akira ended up leaving home at the age of 10 to study in a foreign exchange program. He had qualms about leaving his sister behind and was adamant about staying at first, but Akemi convinced him to go. "I don't want to be the one that holds Onii-chan back ne. If you don't go, Onii-chan won't get another chance will he? So don't worry about me. Just promise to write, okay Nii-chan?" And so Akira left to study in the United States for three years. He kept his promise and wrote home every month. After studying for three years in the U.S. Akira was given an offer to study in France as well. Then at some point Akemi stopped writing him back he became worried. After a year had passed by, Akira decided to return to Tokyo when he'd heard his father had passed on. He enrolled in Akemi's school and has decided to do his junior and senior year there.

Flaws: Akira is a little too blunt, most of the time without meaning to be, dishing out the truth as he sees it. This adds to his reputation of being cold.
Strengths: Aside from being good in class, Akira is also an unbelievable fighter and swordsman. He's almost mastered the styles of Judo, Karate, and a form of Brazilian Jujitsu. He combines these with his swordsmanship experience to make his own unique fighting style.
