Introduction
Day one of the outbreak…

This is all that is left of New York just twenty-two hours into the breakout. No one really knows the name of the virus nor do we know who bombed New York. All we know is that the first known case came from New York and that it turns human beings into mindless killing machines with a craving for human flesh. The government tried to quarantine New York but the virus struck every major city in the United States exactly two hours after the first report in New York. What went from a quarantine of New York quickly turned into a quarantine of the United States. We know that president Obama and his family fled to their holiday house in Hawaii shortly after the outbreak at what is now called ground zero. Now the UN, the coastguard, and the border patrol have fully locked down the United States. No one gets in and nothing gets out. We believe that the U.S Air Force was responsible for the bombing of New Your and every other major city.
Information on the infected and the virus: There is no name for the virus and no one knows of its origins. The virus is transferred though the blood of the infected. If you are bitten or get any of there blood in your mouth, eyes or in any open wounds then you have approximately one hour before the virus kills you and then another hour before it reanimates your body, turning you into a “zombie”. Infected individuals move at a slow pace until they get close to a living human being. When they get near a living human they will move much faster and with much more force. The only way to kill an infected individual is to break its spine, shoot, stab, ext it in its brain/head.
Date: 11-11-11
Day six of the out break…

Here is where you start your story. Georgia is the state that I have randomly picked to be the state we all start in. There is said to be a military base in Florida that is sending uninfected men and women to the UK. The rest of the story is going to unfold as the story advances but right now the United States is the only infected county. I may change that as the story advances. Also, there is only one type of zombie right now and that is the basic ones that I have listed above and yes animals can be infected too. Animals do not move as slow as human zombies, they move as fast as they did before they were infected. You do not have to be from Georgia but you do need to be in Georgia at the beginning of your first post or by the end of it.

Rules
1. This one goes without saying but I am going to say it anyway. NO godmoding.
2. Be realistic, don’t have you character driving around in a tank with a grenade launcher and a M60. Also be reasonable with your ammo and weapons. That means no pulling items/weapons and bullets out of thin air.
3. For now you can only have one character but if he/she dies then you can make another one.
4. No killing other characters without getting consent from the person that the character belongs too.
5. No one line posts and please write in detail.
6. Try to be creative. I don’t want a bunch of army or ex-army characters running around killing every zombie they see.
Please have some sort of experience with roleplaying here. I'm not asking for experts, but I want good punctuation and grammar, not necessarily perfect. (Please NO LEET SPEEK!)

Hold the hand of your best friend, look into their eyes Then watch them drift away
Some might say, we've done the wrong things, For way too long, for way too lonnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn” Kyle looked down at the CD player in the Jeep where the CD had just ejected. “Oh come the freak on. Was it to much to ask for just one freaking CD that isn’t f-ed up?” Kyle let out a deep sigh and picked up the CD, he then rolled down the driver side window and tossed the CD out.
“So much for tunes,” Kyle put his focus back to the road. He had been driving west on interstate 85 for a few hours now. A sign caught his eye. ‘Atlanta 50 miles’ Kyle looked in the back of the jeep. “I could use more gas,” Kyle let out another sigh.
“Maybe I can find some survivors too. It would be nice not to have to talk to myself so I don’t go insane,” Kyle chuckled a little and then returned his focus to the road. Kyle glanced at his wrist watch. ‘7:28 PM’
“Ok that’s it…. I have to find something to listen too!” Right after Kyle said that he saw something in the distance. It was about 500 yards away and it looked like it was blocking the roadway. Kyle looked around to make sure that there were no zombies on the road near his Jeep. When he saw none he reached over to between the drive and passenger seat and grabbed his 308. Kyle then slowly stepped out of his Jeep, still keeping an eye on his surroundings as he pulled the 308. up to what ever was on the road. He looked down the scope, there was a roadblock of seven vehicles on each side of the road. Kyle sat down in the Jeep and put the 308. in the passenger seat.
“Now what am I going to do?” Kyle thought it over for a few minutes and finally decided to see if he could move the cars out of the way. Kyle slowly and cautiously pulled up to the roadblock, he had not seen any movement but that did not mean anything. ‘There could always be something… like the last time’ Kyle thought to himself. Kyle thought back to when he had someone in the Jeep with him, but he quickly snapped his mind back to the task at hand.
(OOC) I am leaving this open just in case someone wants to join up with me or even just drive by and offer help.
OOC Notes
In the distance he saw it, his first ever fight with a zombie "Hey, you bird brain!" Taunting it as he took his sword out. "Come and get me!" He saw the zombie notice him, it started to walk ever so slowly over to him. Niko then started to walk towards it to get it walking faster. When they were about 50 feet away Niko took a fighting stance. The zombie started it pace quicker. Niko ran towards the zombie and...
...blood everywhere. Whose blood was it he had none on him, all blood landed behind him with the caucus. He then took a piece of clothing from the body that wasn't covered in blood and wiped his sword off, throw the cloth on the ground and started to run to a black figure in the distance. Arriving and the truck looking thing he thought to himself 'i think they call it a jeep in America.' He then took his sword back out and steeped closer to the vehicle he got closer and heard movement. He stepped a little closer this time his foot step made noise and he stopped there hoping the figure in the car didn't hear him.
(This is so you know im there.)
OOC Notes
"Atlanta 50 miles" he read the sign out loud frowning to himself... he should probably avoid areas that populated... but then again he needed food, water and fuel, this would be the best place to get it. he the road block coming up ahead and slowed down, then he noticed the movement in front of it and stopped completely. he reached up onto the dash board grabbing his M4 and opened the car door and slid out of his seat setting his rifle on the doors frame he looked down his rifles low power scope. He watched as one guy moved slowly towards another figure in a jeep. He decided not to act yet seeing how this would play out.
OOC Notes
'What an idiot.' she thought with a smirk. Her rotweiler, Ryu sat in the passenger seat, with his head out of the window. Amber saw a sign. "Atlanta 50 Miles." she read. She came upon a jeep and saw a figure creeping towards the figure inside the jeep. Her eyes widened and she hit the brakes. Amber grabbed her sheathed Katana and one of her pistols. She opened the car door and ran out. "Watch out!" she shouted at the man inside the car. She unsheathed her Katana and swung at the figure she thought was a zombie.
OOC Notes
Jericho shook his head. He didn't need to see that. If only he intervened quicker, maybe the boy would still be alive. He past a sign indicating that Atlanta was 50 miles out along. Finally he realized he was staring at another object ahead. Only it wasn't an object but a group of them. It seemed to be a roadblock and he noticed two figures standing near a parked Jeep. He also noticed a Charger with a figure looming near it with an assault rifle aiming in the direction of the Jeep.
Jericho knew he probably heard him, his Harley was too loud to not be noticed. Thus, realizing this man could be a threat slowed down and pulled his 1911 from his side holster and slowly drove over to the man with Jericho's .45 aimed at the stranger's head. He'd worry about the other two later. Jericho would never kill a man in cold blood but this guy was probably going to kill the innocents and take their supplies. He wasn't going to let that happen. Jericho yelled at the man over the low growl of his bike "Put down the gun! Nice and slow and we're gonna figure out why you're stalking these guys!"
OOC Notes
He left the station, always cautious, always peering the corners before going anywhere, never standing straight, always ready to sprint away. He was in Atlanta, Metropolis of the dead.

Jericho pulled out his binoculars and aimed it towards the Jeep, he noticed there was a man in the jeep and two people with what seemed to be Jap swords outside of it. Jericho chuckled to no one, "Whatever works I guess." Before putting away his binoculars he noticed some movement in the roadblock.
Slowly Jericho approached the man, throwing his hand out for a handshake. "I'm Jericho, if you're here to help these people then you're ok by me. These people don't look infected now whatever's moving in the roadblock... That's a different story."

"I'm sorry. I thought you were going to kill that guy in the jeep." she told him. She turned around to go back into the car ,but noticed two guys shaking hands. "How did I not notice them?" she asked herself. Ryu started barking wildly and Amber ran over to him. "What's wrong boy?" she asked him. He kept barking. Amber looked around and held up her pistol. "I think we might have company."

“SLOWLY PUT YOUR WEAPONS ON THE GROUND!” Kyle said in a commanding and firm voice that made him sound older then he really was. Kyle was keeping his gun steady and showing no signs that he was frightened but in reality he was scared out of his mind. Not because there were two people behind his Jeep but because he had not noticed they were there sooner.
Kyle then heard something moving in the roadblock. As Kyle glanced over to the roadblock he saw something that honestly almost made him crap on himself. Right there in front of him were three zombies on top of the roadblock coming towards them. That was not what scared him. What scared him was that they were running towards him! One of the zombies jumped in the air towards Kyle. Before Kyle could even think about what he was going to do his instincts and training had already kicked in. Kyle saw the stock of his AR-15 making contact with the left side of the zombie’s torso area. Kyle and the zombie were both thrown back by the force of the impact. The zombie was thrown onto one of the vehicles in the roadblock, leaving a streak of blood and rotten flesh on the hood of the vehicle. Kyle hit the roadway with a loud thud. If it had not been for the adrenalin Kyle probable would have stayed down for a few moments. Luckily for Kyle adrenalin was pumping and on impact to the road he rolled backwards and ended on his knees. Kyle lined his AR-15 up with the zombie that was now running at him again as if it had never been hit. “TAK TAK TAK” The sound of the AR-15 ripped through the crisp, silent air of I-85. The first two slugs nailed the zombie in the torso both missing the spine. The third slug however struck it right above its left eye sending it falling back. Kyle then lined his gun up to the next zombie that was running towards him.

Jericho pulled out his Bowie knife and was ready to hit it while he passed it. He drove past Hunter and Jericho started to close in. Jericho was moving too fast for the zombie and was close enough to grab the zombie and kiss him. That would be too crazy even for Jericho. Instead he stabbed his knife into the torso of the zombie and caused it to fly back. As soon as Jericho did this he slowed his bike to a stop. He looked back and noticed the zombie squirming and squealing on the ground. It looked like he was about to get up but Jericho jumped off his bike and closed the distance between him and the zombie in the blink of an eye. He shoved his boot onto the neck of the evil creature with enough force to utterly destroy a normal man's throat. But these zombies survive almost everything except a headshot or just utter destruction to the brain. He knew the Bowie knife to the heart wouldn't kill it, just slow it down. Jericho pulled out his 1911, looked around at everyone else, looked down and aimed his pistol at its head. "May God save you..."
Jericho pulled the hair trigger and felt the .45 caliber bullet leave its resting place in the pistol. He heard the bang, didn't see much of the flash though cause he was looking at the bloodshot eyes of the thing. Then suddenly its eyes flew in different directions, along with everything else in its head. Painting the ground with blood and brain matter. He noticed some blood got on his shirt and face, Jericho pulled out a rag and wiped most of it off. He pulled his Bowie knife out and looked around and noticed the kid. He shook his head as he cleaned his knife and made it spotless...

Hunter did a quick sweep for more zombies he didnt see any but that didnt mean they werent there, which ment this next part was going to be tricky, and he had to do it fast he kept his weapon up at the ready watching all three of them closely. "was anyone bitten!?"
OOC Notes
"Thanks for the ride, sir!" a girl of 18 yelled, as she waved him goodbye. He did a double take, and started cussing her out but his truck was already on the move. "Au revior!" And with that she blew him a kiss.
She brushed the dirt off her legs and turned around to see the group of people, slightly bloodied but obviously not infected. She cocked her head in curiosity and marched off to meet them.
They didn't appear too familiar with each other. Some had some heavy duty weaponry with them, others not as much. What she did notice was all the cars.
"Aw hell no," she started, with a shake of her head. She turned to a man she recognized as some sort of military. She could tell because her dad was Air Force and it was obvious which of his friends were too.
"Hi I'm new around Atlanta. My name's Paz, like "peace" except for the lack of peace these days. I was wondering, is everyone here together? And are these your cars? Because there's no way anyone should be driving during World War Z."
OOC Notes
So Jericho slowly walked over to Hunter and said "There is no reason to be uncivil about this. If they were bitten somewhere important we'd probably see it by now. We'll check their bodies for other bites later. For now it looks like we have a visitor..." Jericho put his hand on top of Hunter's M4 and applied some small pressure to indicate to him to stand down. This young girl seemed to pop out of nowhere and she walked towards Hunter and asked him questions and something about a World War Z. This newcomer had some sort of positive aura around her. Jericho smiled, it wasn't a wide grin or anything but it was still to the smallest degree a smile. It was good to see some light after traveling in all this darkness. She did ,however, have a bulge in her jacket. Jericho figured she was packing some small pistol. He thought he better not seem like a threat to her, a shootout would not be needed. He didn't want to kill anyone. Especially these younger people, like the little preteen boy or these two teenage girls, they all have a whole life in front of them.
Jericho looked at Paz and offered his hand for a handshake. "My name is Jericho, like the city. I'm not sure if anyone here was together but I was just passing by. I don't have a car I have that bike over there. And this can't be a World War Z... The infection hasn't left America yet." Jericho prayed he was right. But deep down he knew maybe she was right. Suddenly Jericho felt a deep concern about his parents. His dad was a Screaming Eagle, if something happened he could take on anyone or in this case anything. That gave Jericho some comfort knowing this. Jericho continued "Why shouldn't we drive? If we have fuel and make it all the way to Florida we dont ever have to worry about those things giving chase. Sure they'll attract attention but is there another reason?"
Jericho then remembered the other people. He motioned for them to come over to the conversation. He wanted to keep them safe and away from the barricade. Hopefully they would listen to him.

"Jericho, Sargent Kahr, glad to meet you both," she shook hands. "The reason for my concern regarding the cars is that if this virus gets any worse, I have a feeling that other countries will feel less like exporting their oil here when their crew becomes endangered. And when gas runs out, our luck runs out. And there'll be no plowing through ghouls because the cars can only take so much," she explained. "No I have a feeling that soon enough we'll all be on bikes." Her face grew blank as her mind wandered, thinking about when that day would come.
"And I'd like to think this won't go global, but it's inevitable. Even with our high security at airports and such, someone will eventually slip through the ranks." Paz shivered at the thought.
Her hazel eyes roamed across the terrain. There were a lot of cars either wrecked or abandoned it seemed. She turned again to Jericho and Hunter. "Would you mind terribly if I were to-?" she motioned towards a nearby van, implying she wanted to go rummage through and look for supplies. Maybe even weapons.
OOC Notes
Paz's comment about the security made sense too. His experience in Africa told him this was true. There was always quarentines in some of the places he went to and there was always someone getting out. Jericho prayed his family made it somewhere safe. Maybe they made contact with his extended family in Spain, he knew there was a safe house there. His family had a history of being warriors and survivors so he wouldn't be surprised if he found out the safehouse was armed to the teeth. Jericho smiled at the thought.
Jericho noticed Paz motioning towards a van. He looked around to see if there were any Zacks around. Jericho had heard people calling the zombies Zacks, the nickname was somewhat easier to say so every once in awhile he'd revert to the nickname. Jericho didn't want to say no to this girl but suddenly he cared about her safety. He actually cared about the safety of all of the younger kids. Jericho motioned for her to stop and strode over to the van. He pulled out his pistol and knife. He looked back over to Paz and Hunter. It appeared that Hunter was covering them. Hunter seemed to be cool and collective. He seemed to know his Marine stuff. Jericho always like the Army more but he wasn't prejudice against the different forces, they all fought for the US after all. Jericho suddenly remember a joke about the Marines, Muscles Are Required Intelligence not NEcesSary. He smiled again.
Looking away from Hunter Jericho thought he saw another bulge in Paz's jacket but it seemed to be in the shape of a knife, a big one not unlike Jericho's own. Jericho smiled again, this girl knew how to take care of herself and apparently had a good taste in knives. Jericho liked this girl more and more each second, she might as well be related to Jericho from all the qualities he's seen in her so far. Jericho then realized he had smiled a few times today. He hadn't smiled since the infection began. He liked this feeling.
Jericho motioned for Paz and Hunter to cover his back when he opened the slide door on the van. He waited for their signal

1. The shot to the zombie's right eye WOULD have dropped it right there.
2. Not all zombies run. It takes six days of being infected before a zombie can run.
3. All of your post are looking pretty good :)
4. You can almost never give to much detail. Try to put as much detail into your post as you can. It make's smaller post longer and give's everyone a clearer picture of what is going on with your character.
I was also wondering if I could get some feedback on my post...
Your GM Arige.
