Introduction
It's just like any other day. You find yourself heading off to work or school or whatever it is you do when you see an advert on the door to your apartment, or in the local news paper recruiting people. It reads:
Are you aspiring to be a writer, musician or an artist? Want some peace and quiet so you can relax and get your work done with no worries? Well we have just the thing. Kerplinski's. Yes, that's right, Kerplinski's. Kerplinski's is a mansion on the island Tahoe located in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. It's a private Island which has been cut off to the public for years, but over the next few weeks we are looking for applicants to go to the following website: www.kerpliski.com and fill out a form if interested in applying. The cost you ask. Nothing. This is all on us. Flights and food included. The only cost you need to worry about is the one getting to the airport. Once you apply more details will follow afterwards.
Interested, you decide to check out the website. It won't hurt. The worse that could happen is that the website is linked to some porn site or a virus, and even then you could do it on a public computer as not to ruin the home one or make sure all your virus checkers and things are up to date. It doesn't hurt to check out the questionnaire either. If it wants really personal details and/or credit card details and anything like that for identity theft then you simply don't fill it in.
Upon typing in the address on the internet, the site comes up and has a quick link to the questionnaire. It's simple and shows no sign of getting too personal and seems just like any normal questionnaire. It couldn't hurt to fill it out and you seem hesitant that anything will ever come of it. They don't even ask for an address, just an email so they can send more information later when they pick the lucky few to go on this 'vacation'.
The question is: Is it just a vacation for aspiring writers, artists, and musicians; or is it something more?
The questionnaire on the site is going to be the character sheet. So basically, when applying just use the character format used there but I'll tell you here what I want in each part.
Description: I would like: Age [17+], gender, marital status, appearance [including height, weight, hair and eye colour] and a general description of looks and clothes.
Personality: General description of personality; three or four sentences describing themselves; Likes and dislikes.
Biography: A paragraph about themselves; why they want to be a - writer, musician, artist; and then why they think they should be one of the lucky few picked to attend.

OOC Notes
"...Accepted... Accepted... Accepted... Everything is going just as planned." The male voice spoke. "Soon my plans will be complete and everything will be sorted."
"Is there anything else I can do for you, sir?"
"No. Everything is ready for our guests though, I take it?"
"Yes, sir. Everything was finished this morning."
"Good, good. Then we should be fine." He told the man in front of him. "Now, if you just leave me alone I have some private matters to sort out."
"Yes, sir. If you need anything, just call."
"I will do."
With that, the second man turned around and left, the only noise to be heard was the closing of the door behind him.
Kaiden soon found himself standing in front of a grand mansion. The place looked like it had been built in the 50's it looked that old and to him out of date. He just laughed to himself as he studied the building. His 'butler', well the guy that had drove him from the airport to him had told him to wait outside until the others arrived and as he turned away from the mansion he could see three other identical black limo's pulling up. Whoever ran this place had serious money, the male found himself thinking. Though, as long as their were females here he wouldn't care. Maybe he'd be able to get a girl and his work done. This thought the made the male grin as he watched the cars pull up and kept his attention on them to see who exited. If they were three girls, he'd be in for a fun time, and again, that thought kept the smile plastered on his face.
The young lad ran a hand through his messy brown hair, hoping it would add to his bad boy look. After all a good first impression with the ladies wouldn't hurt him. It actually made him think about how he'd gotten into this situation in the first place. The boy remembered seeing an article attached to the door of his apartment. Normally he didn't take much notice to those sorts of things, but this one was different and he thought that it wouldn't hurt to get away for a bit. Kind of like a vacation. It couldn't hurt either way, he decided. So, he'd sat down at his computer and filled out the application like it had told him and he clicked send. Kaiden really thought that it was a joke and nothing would come of it so when a letter came through saying that tickets were waiting for him at the airport and to call the number to confirm he did. And it wasn't a hoax. Kaiden couldn't believe his luck and he couldn't get to the airport fast enough.
And now, after a long flight and a short car journey to the mansion here he stood waiting to see who else had gotten lucky.

OOC Notes
Tatum Elise Jennings straightened her canary yellow floral sundress around her knees before sliding across the seat of a limo in which she had observed carefully during the ride. She’d never been in a vehicle as nice as this one, hell she was lucky if she could even afford a taxi back in the city. Once the black floral pattern was no longer creased she was content and pushed opened the door letting her feet hit the earth lightly as she pushed herself out of the limousine and pulled her black duffle bag packed with things along with her. Her honey blonde curls lay in spirals over her shoulders pulled out of her face by a headbands with a giant black flower formed of lace and silk attached to it. The only thing simple about the outfit would be the plain black heels she wore, that was if they didn’t have hand painted heels done personally by her own hair to imitate the pattern of the dress she wore. Nothing was ever simple looking if it was attached to Tatum.
She reached across the seat grabbing her wooden canvas and her bag containing her paints and brushes…She somehow managed to wobble on the heels pulling along all of her belongings with her hands full and a large bag slung over her shoulder. For a small woman this was pretty impressive, actually as the bag in itself probably weighed more than she did. Though, she was used to doing for herself and would accept no ones help even if they offered it. She dragged everything along reaching the front of the mansion and looking up at it. Beautiful. she thought observing each curve of architecture and each imperfection of the place that gave it more charm in her eyes. “I’ll have to sketch that…” She mused quietly to herself as the limousine driver attempted to take her bag.
“I’ve got it” She nearly snapped her gaze shooting to the short and stout man who withdrew from her apologizing. She hadn’t meant to be rude, but he’d startled her while she was in deep thought and that was never wise to do to Tatum Elise…Usually her own train of mind wasn’t kept on the same track for long, and interrupting only causes her frustration.

I like this idea, I really hope it kicks off the ground. Maybe try making another Roleplayers Wanted thread?

Re: [OOC] The Advertisement
Yea, they've been accepted. :) I was going to send a PM to everyone letting them know they'd been accepted and that I'd written an IC when I had. I'm hoping to do that today and get things rolling.
Re: [OOC] The Advertisement
Haha, lovely. :]
Oh, and if our character shows up does that mean it's been accepted? I'm not sure how this whole new system works it's frazzling my simple mind here.
