Mastery of Light, Darkness, and the Mind.
Chase called himself "Poseidon" because of these 3 abilities, likening them to the three-pronged trident that the ancient god Poseidon carried around with him.
Darkness- He can control the shadows, and extract the very light out of a situation.
Light- He can create and diminish light, and harness it's energy quite effectively.
The Mind- Something of a "Psychic" nature. Chase has realised his ability to fiddle with people's minds, and yet, he has not even began to harness this skill yet.

Bio/History:
I'd like to keep this undisclosed for the roleplay's sake.

Personality:
Chase is a very moral, loyal and true-hearted man. He believe's in such principles as "only the strong survive" and that "mind is stronger than matter". These are two principles he live's by on a daily basis.
Where love and friendship are concerned, he is quick to trust anyone who has proven themselves worthy, but not so eager to trust anyone else. He has never been in love, saying that if he were to ever fall in love, he would fear it would distract him too much, and that he could make a mistake.
Making a mistake- something he is deeply, deeply afraid of doing.
