Zane was walking home from school, he had an.... Okay day. As usual he was ridiculed and made fun of for being so into rocks and minerals. What Zane didn't notice is that he was being watched by a man across the street, the man crossed the street, and pulled a gun out and pointed it at Zane "Gimme all your money and valuables!" he yelled. "I don't have any money or valuables." Zane said he was telling the truth but the man didn't think so, the man raised his gun and shot at Zane, Zane had a rush of adrenaline, and zoned out into his inner self, as he raised his hand to protect himself a pillar of rock, thick as a tree, rose from the ground and absorbed the bullet. What just happened Zane thought to himself as he tried this again, the stone broke away and created a spike, Zane motioned and it launched itself at the man's gun hand, and disarmed him. While the man was in a daze over what just happened Zane ran and ran until he could run no more. Once he knew he was safe he ran home. That was weird Thought Zane.

"Why can I do this? How?" Adrian asked himelf as he walked in front of someone running.

He went towards the ground, and before he hit, he somehow used air, again, to cusion his falling. Seconds later he got up, thankful for not laanding on his scar from the fire, that still hurt. He looked down and saw the person who ran into him. He helped him up and said, "Uhhh... Sorry..."

Adrian started walking away in the direction the person was running.

After Zane was home he went outside, he lifted his hand and focused on a rock on the other side of the yard Rock, rise! he thought over and over but it didn't work. Zane tried to speak to the rock, Rock, Rise! he thought, but as he spoke it came out "Rie'si Sten'ar!" um? he thought. This time he tried to sense the rock, as if tentacles grew from his feet, though the ground, to the rock, and he didn't think or say anything, he focused on the rock and made a rising motion with his hand like a conductor, the rock began to float off the ground, Zane made a fist and the rock crumbled. Awesome! he thought.

Adrian saw something odd in his perepheral eye sight. Some teen breaking a rock. Adrian was training his powers, but for falling, well, he couldn't fly. He made a swirling thing with his fingers, and said, "Swir'les Pe'bla'sey." but he meant to say swirl pebbles.

The broken rock started to swirl like a tornado. He kept it swirling as Adrian smiled and started walking down the road somemore. He liked air. He always liked air. It's like he can do anything with it.

Zane thought he saw someone else making rocks float, so he followed him through the streets to find him swirling his fingers and making miniature tornadoes. I guess I'm not the only one he thought. Zane decided to test his theory so he tripped the guy by making the sidewalk rise in a little area, the guy tripped and sure enough stopped his with a gust of air. "Hey you." the guy looked at him, he looked a couple years older than him, and a little weathered. The guy turned around "Hey, I Saw what you did there." the guy turned to run but Zane pushed him into an alley and sealed the only exit with a wall of stone that some how sprung out of the ground I don't know how I did that but okay I guess that's what I wanted he thought "Don't worry, I'm like you, here I can prove it." Said Zane. Zane motioned with his hand and said "Sten'ar Rie'si" he meant to say 'Stone rise' but it came out wrong, as his words sometimes did, as a block of stone the size of a rubrics cube came out of the ground, Zane twirled his fingers and the block spun around. "See." said Zane. "I thought I was just messed up." Zane said with relief "So whats your name?" Asked Zane.

Adrian was tripped, then pushed into an ally. He pointed his right hand at the kid. He meant to say fly back, but it cam out like this, "F'le'y B'ba'ch"

The kid flew back, and hit his head on the wall he made. Adrian thought, Sorry dude, but never corner me.
Adrian went to the wall he was closest to. "A'r'ir S'i'llic'er" he said but meant to say Air Cutter.

A rectangle shape was cut out of the door. Adrian pushed the shape, and then he was out. He started running, and made it to the end of the ally when he noticed he was blocked again. "Why, kid, do you want to do this?" Adrian asked.

Zane heard the guy say something but he didn't understand what he said. he cut his second wall as easily as the first. Zane started to get tired from running after him, wait a second while Zane was running he made a up motion with his hand and and the pushed forward "Sten'ar pl'lte slei'theier." he meant to say sliding stone plate, but whatever this weird language was working. An inch thick plate of rock came out of the ground, Zane jumped on it and then he punched forward and the stone started floating and driving forward. Sick a hover board! I'll have to remember this spell thingy Zane forced the board faster by flicking all of his fingers forward and the board increased it's speed, Zane tripped the guy again, looking around to make sure nobody was watching, he said "Sten'ar Pris'ein." he meant to say stone prison ,he then made a pit where the guy was going to land, it was about eight feet deep with smooth stone walls and a soft bottom of soil so the guy wouldn't hurt himself. Finally I got him, and with these awesome powers! "Why did you run? I don't want to hurt you, just know that I can trust another of my kind." Amazing another one of my kind! AMAZING! Is what Zane really thought but he wasn't about to say it.

Jack wemt to admire his fish, he tapped on the fish tank "come on, wake up shadow, stop hiding." He lifted up his hand in a fist and the clear freshly changed water came up out of the large fish tank. "wow!" he exlamed as he swished the water from hand to hand. jack flung his and and relased his fist and the water shot into his white wall. " I should feed you then go to school." jack told his fish as he grabbed the big white jar of fish food and threw it into the fish tank, then ran out the door to catch the bus.

Adrian almost hit his left arm on the soft soil. Thank god that he didn't. "Okay k-kid, pl-please let me out," he said shakily.

Adrian knew he didn't have to do this. He could probably just fly out. But it's quite hard actually. "F'yy'lly!" Adrian said loudly.

He started to lift off the ground. He then shot forward, in the air. "Sorry kid, but I don't have time to answer your questions or listen to you!" he yelled as he flew away.

Thankyou god, for letting me have these powers. it's like air is like the best. Adrian thought, still flying.

((Later as Adrian's flying, he's going to fall.))

((He best. no god modding i said classic rules)) Damn it! Zane loathed, he had discovered one of his kind then lost him. Zane rode his stone plate home making it look like a skate board, so no one got suspicious. When Zane arrived home he practice some more, he made a target of soil with a stone backing, after he was done making the target the made a couple dozen stone spikes, he practiced by levitating the stone then hulling it at the target by flicking his wrist, it worked well but using the arm with his birth mark worked better. he was surprised that after just a little practice he could do it without talking in English or that odd language. When Zane's mom called "Dinner Zane." he made the rocks suddenly dissolve, but he left a small cube rock, and changed it's shape into a card, the stuffed it into his pocket just for entertainment he thought.

Adrian wondered how he could keep altitude. Just then he was falling. he didn't scream, or yell, he just free fell. He thought, Why do I need to be on this planet??? I could just die, and be with my parents.

When he was about to hit the ground, air picked him up abit and set him down gently. "On the run again," Adrian said to himself again.

He touched the mark on his face, and then felt the scar onhis left arm. Still tender. He started moving west.

after dinner Zane made a little ball out of the stone and began to throw it into the air and catch it, he looked at his pet lizard Draco and thought to himself he started making the sand in his cage into pictures. Zane got bored and decided to go to sleep. When Zane woke the next morning he got up showered and ate breakfast then he went to school, on the buss Zane saw one of his only friends, Jack, "Hey Jack, um I have to ask you a question, but you have to promise not to tell anyone, okay." He said, Jack nodded. Zane knew he could trust Jack they had known each other since they were four. "Okay good, well have you ever... umm controlled like air or earth, or um like any of the elements, like make them float,and do your will and stuff?" Zane was embarrassed for asking but he just had to know, he had noticed how Jack loves water and everything to do with it like how he loved rocks and minerals.

Saidi was sitting on the bus, when she noticed two of her friends Jack and Zane talking, she heard Zane say "have you ever like?, controlled the elements?" Saidi right there and then wanted to burst out and scream, but she withheld herself, Another one of my kind! Saidi didn't want to tell anyone but she could control fire ever since she was twelve, but she thought that if anyone found out they would out cast her. she leaned over to Zane and said "hey I heard what you said, well I don't like telling people they usually don't believe me but,... I can control fire." she whispered to Zane and Jack, they both looked stunned, but also like they were trying to hide something. "here I can show you." she held out her hand and put all her fingers together in a fist then released the fist, and there in her hand was an orb of flames, she tossed it from hand to hand, then when she made a fist again it disappeared. "See."

"wow awesome!" Zane said "hey Jack, Saidi, watch" said Zane as he pulled the stone card out of his pocket. he made it levitate the changed it into a cube, then a sphere, then he made a fist and it crumbled, the he took the Sand that the crumbled rock had created and turned it back into a card and shoved it into his pocket. "I love doing that." Zane said so there's more of us, plus if me and Saidi hook up we'll be unstoppable Zane always had an eye for Saidi, They had known each other, well, since they were born, Saidi and Zane's parents both worked for the same company and were very good friends, Zane and Saidi used to go to the city park together and catch butterflies and play on the equipment together, even then Zane had a crush on Saidi.

"Whoa, that's cool!" Said Saidi Cute and talented, Zane's awesome is what she really thought, she was embarrassed to ask him out or anything because most people picked on him, she usually felt very sorry for Zane. "what about you Jack, can you do anything?" Saidi asked. she smiled at Zane trying to get his attention, but he was also looking at Jack waiting for his answer.

Adrian stopped, and thought of going to the school. Just to see what it looks like. He wanted to fly but when he tried, he failed. So he just ran there. Adrian hid behind a tree, and started staring at the school. Then a bus pulled up. He wondered if he would see the earth kid again. But before he decided to stay, he left. "Hey, person over there, are you new to this school?" someone said, looking like he was the principle of the school, "Because a new kid is supposed to go here. Eighteen years old."

This has to be a coincidence, Adrian thought.

"What's my name?" he asked.

The principle looking guy said, "Mason Scott."

"Okay, that's me, so let's go in?" Ade said.

They walked inside, and the bus was still there, kids still getting out, the bus driver telling everybody to hurry up. Just then, an eighteen year-old looking person walked up to the principle and said, "I'm Mason Scott."

The principle just looked at him and said, "No, you're not. This is Mason Scott." He pointed at Adrian.

Adrian and the principle dude walked in, and Adrian mouthed to the real Mason Scott, I'm so sorry.

They walked inside and the principle showed Adrian to his locker.

Jack just didin't answer them, he looked embarresed. Zane was walking up the steps of the school when he noticed the guy from the other day. Zane pulled Saidi behind a wall and pointed at the guy, "You see him? the guy with the mark under his eye?" Questioned Zane, Saidi nodded. "He's like us, I had an... unfourtunate run in with him the other day, you know how you control fire, I control Earth, well he can control air." Zane said as he made sure Saidi unserstood.

Saidi was shocked another one? she thought. "What happened?" she asked as she stared at Zane.

"Uhh, nothing all you need to know is he's bad news stay away from him. Okay!" Zane said as he grabbed Saidi's shoulders.

"Yeah, Okay." Said Saidi as Zane relased her shoulders.

"I got to go, remember what I said." Said Zane as he walked away.

Another one eh? thought Saidi, as she observed the air guy, he looks kinda shifty she thought to herself.

"wait Saidi, Zane!" Jack called after them "I can control water, obsverve." he said, he clentched his fist, then unclentched, the water from his body came out and we wave around the water. jack clentched his fist yet again, and the water turned into ice, he used his other hand and broke the ice into nice sharp chunchs, he threw his fists and unclenched, the ice went into a thick tree. Saidi and Zane were dumbfounded. "ya, you like that? More where that came from!"

"Pretty cool but I'm better." Zane took his stone card, the split it into three, spikes and then raised a peice of turf from the ground as a target, he hurled the spikes without even touching them by flicking his wrist, all of the small lethal darts hit home in the center of the target. "Ha! best that Jack!" Zane laughed. I hope I impressed Saidi Zane thought, he looked back at Saidi, as he put his hand out and the rock returned his hand in the form of a card again.

Let's see how this turns out Thought Saidi as she looked at Zane He's cute when he does that She thought.

"ya well can you do this?" jack asked as he suked the moisture from the grass and soil, then made skeets and spikes out of ice. With the flick of each fing jack made all ten spikes into each blue skeet. "And for the finally." jack cockily said and pulled out a water bottle, the cap flew off, the bottled emptied under a second. A quick orb of water formed in between his hands and shot on his mark. I bet saidi so digs me right now because I dig her jack thought as he winked at her

Saidi giggled Jack's your hilarious thought Saidi

"Nice, good job, but I can top it, here follow me." said Zane as he walked behind the school, when they were behind the school Zane winked at Saidi, then looked at Jack "lets battle, water versus earth, no broken bones or dead people though, obviously." Zane smirked Lets go Zane thought, he then made a ring abot ten feet in diameter. "Our battle arena, nothing out of that ring got it?" Zane asked.

Saidi stared at both of them Boys have neverfought over me before, this is going to be fun. Thought Saidi. "I'll be the ref." Said Saidi.

"got it, was'sh'a ac'oona!" he mean't to say water caoon. Water swirled around zane trapping him in a vortex of water.

Zane was getting mad, he took out his card of stone, he turned it into a sphere so it wouldn't hurt too much, he levitated it and hurled it at Jack's head, as it hit him it messed up his foucus, then the cyclone stopped, "Sten'ar Levi'tatis" he meant to say floating stone, as he said this a stone came out of the ground and caught his fall, he then picked up Jack on a floating stone then made the stone crumble, as he was on the ground Zane yelled "Sten'ar Rest'rainintn" he meant to say stone restraints, then ropes of vines came out of the ground and tied Jack to the ground. Zane lowered to the ground on his hover board, he jumped off when he was four feet of the ground and approched Jack "Not so hot now are you?" Said Zane snickering.

"I think I am very hot right now, n'ice d'usisk!" Jack mean't to say ice disks. as he yelled three ice discks hurled toward zane one hit him in the groin the other two hit him in the head, ice spikes also rose and freed Jack. "Ha!" jack smirked as he bowed to Saidi

"Okay time to get it over with." Zane growled "Sten'ar Pres'ein!" he yelled as a ten foot deep hole appeared under Jack with soft soil on the bottom so it wouldn't hurt when he hit the bottom, Then Zane put a spike of stone to Jacks throught. "I win." he said as he made the spike crumble and the hole into flat ground. "good fight Jack I thought I was going to lose.

"not quite!" jack said as he threw the water orb, the recoil was too great, he was pushed back two feet backward.

Adrian escaped the school. He hated being by people. He noticed the person he saw yesterday go behind the building with two others. He wanted to snoop, but couldn't. He forced himself to, so he made his way to the back, hid behind a tree, and saw the events that took place. One of them, a male about thirteen fourteen, threw a lethal-loking water orb. He didn't really like being with people, but he also didn't really like lethal-looking water orbs. He said under his breath, "Air shield," but it came out as this, "Ai'ir S'heil'id."

The water orb hit the air and blew up. "Dannggg," Adrian said under his breath again, "That would've hurrttt!"
