Introduction

"There were Giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bore children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown." Gen 6:4

In the dawn of civilization, the Annunaki, the legendary Gods of the Sumerian mythos, came from the sky to the beautiful land known as the Crescent. They came in search of a new home, and they found it there, a land inhabited only by underdeveloped neanderthalers, primitive ape men. The Gods captured these primates as slaves, but found them unsuitable. Instead, they interbred with the race, and created Man, the perfect slave.

Humans served them for tens of thousands of years, suffering oppression, violence, rape and murder at the hands of the Gods, the Empire of Anu, and those who served it. Man was worked to death in the bottomless gold mines of the Empire, while their wives and daughters fell prey to the wicked servants of the Gods. It was only a matter of time before whispers of descent, even outright rebellion, began to spread in the Crescent.

While this is going on, in another part of Crescent, a group of powerful warriors known as the Nine, are resting up in a small village after their latest battles. They are heroes who have long served the Empire of Anu with their swords, protecting the Empire against vicious monsters that roam the lands, Barbaroi. It takes great courage and strength to fight Barbaroi, but the Nine are skilled warriors who have time and time again braved the creatures in fearless battle for the sake of the Empire, and their gods.

However, their time of rest is cut short when they are visited by none other than the General of the Imperial Army herself, the infamous warlord Inanna. She has a mission for the Nine; They are to travel with her to the war-torn Imperial province of Assur, and kill a human rebel leader, Seth, who have offended the Supreme God Anu by daring to pick up arms against the gods. They will help to crush his rebellion once and for all, and make an example out of the rebels.

But the mission is not as easy as it seems, as the Nine soon begin to wonder where best their loyalty is placed; with a man who seek the freedom of their own people, or with the mighty gods that rule them.

The Nine

A group of legendary heroes who have served the Empire of Anu loyally for many years. They are led by the half-god Gilgamesh, each member equally skilled in the arts of war. The Nine have become one of the most powerful tools of the Imperial Army, in its battles against the savage Barbaroi, as well as against the Nephilim and the Elohim. While fiercely loyal to the Empire of Anu, the Nine are, however, first and foremost loyal to each other.

Let's see...

Playable races (All are playable, but please, don't pick a neanderthaler as your character...)

- Humans (You know these. A genetically bred slave species created by and to serve the Annunaki, whom they believe are gods. They got the looks, the brains and some muscles from the genetic cocktail, but their superstition and lack of technology keep them cowed under the Annunaki's bootheels.)

- Annunaki (An alien race of human/reptile-like humanoids who came to Earth in search of a new home. They have superior technology and incredible intelligence. Led by the Supreme God Anu, they created and enslaved humanity to work in their gold mines. There are many good-hearted Annunaki who want to free humanity, however, they are still in a minority. Humans live under the superstitious belief that they are gods, and worship them. Annunaki also often possess psychic and spiritual abilities, some more than others.)

- Demigods (Half-gods or halfbreeds, demigods are born to one human and one Annunaki parent. They usually retain very little of their Annunaki parent's reptilian features. The few features they retain sometimes include reptilian-like eyes, reptilian-like but not scaled facial features, and occasionally, claws similar to those of the Annunaki. They often show a greater level of intelligence than regular humans, and also shows slightly greater agility. However, they are often looked down upon in Annunaki society, and their partially human blood have removed most of the psychic abilities that the Annunaki possesses.)

- Nephilim (An animal-like humanoid race who are not native to Crescent. They're uncommon, and usually attract unwanted attention to themselves. Most Nephilim are hateful enemies of the Annunaki, but there are, as always, exceptions, and some even think of the Annunaki as gods, like the humans do. The Nephilim have a clan-based, nomadic or hunter-gatherer civilization in distant lands, but are surprisingly advanced for such a society. Their religion is a nature religion similar to shamanism.)

- Elohim (Also known as giants, the Elohim are human-like humanoids, though they are slightly larger than an average human. They are pale-skinned, and usually have white or pale hair as well, but are fairly beautiful in their appearance. They like to decorate their skin with colorful tattoos. The Elohim are, like the Nephilim, rabid enemies of the Annunaki, but many of the Elohim have been enslaved by the Empire of Anu. The Elohim are known to be proud and noble warriors. They worship no gods, but rather the spirits of their ancestors.)

- The Helpers (Another racial creation by the Annunaki, the Helpers are (usually) mindless humanoids. They are often almost indistinguishable from humans at first sight, but they are not sentient and only capable of following orders. Some Helpers are cyborgs, part machine, and these are known as automatas. Automatas are used by the Annunaki as soldiers in times of war, and because of this are capable of independent thought, unlike other Helpers.)

- Barbaroi (A monstrous race of humanoid creatures who are known for their predatory nature. They prey on the weak, and are detested by all, and hunted by most. The Barbaroi are known to prey on defenseless human villages, though they never venture near the larger settlements that are controlled by the Annunaki. The Barbaroi were the first attempts by the Annunaki to create a sentient slave species, but they were considered a failure because of their bloodthirsty and unpredictable nature. Their society is based in hidden cities, and is surprisingly benevolent towards their own, but closed to outsiders. The Barbaroi have individual "abilities" when it comes to fighting, some magical, some physical, some psychic, but all of them equally freaky.)

- Neanderthalers
(Ugly, monkey-like freaks of nature. Stupid too. They were, in fact, too sucky to be used as slaves for the Annunaki, so the "Gods" took their DNA, and mixed it with their own, creating mankind. Neanderthalers are today hunted and preyed upon by the Annunaki, who seek their extinction. Humans, too, consider them a threat, and often attack them and chase them off on sight, sometimes going so far as to fight them over land. There have also been occasions where neanderthalers have attacked humans, over land, food or resources. But they really are stupid. And ugly. And I have no idea whatsoever if they have any form of civilization, but I seriously doubt it. Let's face it. Neanderthalers suck. :P

Rules

- No god-modi....oh, wait...actually, feel free to play one of the Annunaki, aka "Gods". You'll still play as a member of the Nine, though.

- No omnipresence or omnipotence. In other words; no all-powerful characters. Even the gods are little more than aliens anyway. ;) They do have the tech to back up those brass balls with, though...

- Don't be a jerk; be nice to everyone, even if they are neanderthalers.

- Try to write at least a couple of paragraphs in every post.

- And do be semi-literate at least.

- My way or the highway and all that crap. :D

- Enjoy!

- Oh, and don't bully the neanderthalers! They can't help it that they look like boiled monkey asses in the face. Besides, they've got muscles to back up their ugliness with...

- Most importantly: DON'T add or contact me on Facebook or MSN without contacting me here about it first. Thankyouuuuu.

Jag wrote:Upon reading the introduction for The Annunaki War, one immediately understands that this game wasn’t done by a beginner. The style and florid prose of the introduction details a unique fantasy setting with an elaborate set of inhabitants waiting to make the story jump from the page. While some of the elements used in the story and character classes borrow or align with the cliché, it’s important to remember that even the most cliché of elements can be used to astounding effect if used correct as they are in this game. The setting is strong and clearly defined for anyone brave enough to take up arms in the War. The writing style and quality of the game deserves a great deal of praise. While the grammar of the writers is by no means flawless, it is a step above the vast majority of the games on Gateway and the mistakes made in no way effect the ability for a reader to follow the story and the action of the characters. Strong descriptions and well-structured posts make each post a valuable addition to the game with no apparent “weak links” to be found at this stage – a rarity that should be deeply appreciated by all the members of the game. While the deeper story of the game and the real depth of the plot doesn’t seem to have kicked into high gear yet, the characterization of the story’s participants and their potential for conflict – both physical and emotion – sets them up well for the tasks at hand. In short, this is one of the most promising games I’ve seen in some time. I hope that the writers remain dedicated and continue to provide the high quality we’ve seen so far!

Your plot is clearly visible and I understand where and why the players fit into it. You did combine words without a hyphen twice, but the errors were very few in number and did not bring your score down. There was however one problem, the depth. You did well describing the inhabitants of the world you've created, but you didn't describe the world they live on! I assume this must've slipped your mind. However, it is crucial to give at least minor details on what the world is like. The lack of any description for the world was unfortunately a pretty big stickler. On the bright side, overall your roleplay was advanced. Looking at the rest of your roleplay, I can tell the depth problems merely slipped your mind. I /know/ you have the skill to earn an advanced on that, so I hope you take this knowledge and fix what little I could find to criticize. To get ideas for how to describe the world, simply compare it to earth. Is the weather more violent, is the planet mostly land? What sort of nature could one expect to find? How far has civilization spread? These are all things you could describe to give a player a feel for what the world is like.

The village was small, placed just on the banks of the Euphrates river, in the central regions of the Empire of Anu. It was little more than a collection of about a hundred sandstone buildings, surrounded on all sides except the river, by a wall built from the same sandstone. It only had a garrison of about thirty guards, but little more was necessary as not much happened there.

But that was why they were there, because of the calm and quiet. The Nine had come there after their latest battle, to rest, and recuperate from the wounds they had sustained in battle against the Barbaroi. Lately, the monstrous creatures had become more and more bold, openly attacking small human settlements deeper inside the Empire, leaving the Nine with more work than usual. Nobody knew why the Barbaroi attacks had increased - but it was only expected that a result of it was that some of the heroes that served with him would sustain injuries in the battles. Fortunately, none of their injuries had been very serious so far. Gilgamesh himself had suffered a gash to the side of his torso, but it was practically healed already.

But their battles had been great enough that they had been granted a reprieve in the small village, until new orders would arrive for them. The village was pleasant - there wasn't much to do, but that was the greatest charm of it. They had been given room at the village's guesthouse, where they were treated like the gods that they themselves served. Beautiful human servant girls provided them with everything they could possibly desire, while the priestesses at the local temple tended to the wounds of those who were harmed during their last battle. It was a perfect place to rest up after battle.

This morning, like every morning for the last week, Gilgamesh woke up early, roused by the loud snoring of his eight comrades, before they had even begun to wake up. They lay scattered in the large building, usually reserved for pilgrims, each covered in his or her blankets and with their weapons, clothes and armors resting next to them. Some of them also were surrounded by empty wine pitchers from the night before. There was an unmistakable smell of alcohol in the air. Had it not been for the open windows, it would have been even worse, of that, Gilgamesh was certain. Some of the Nine had been drinking the night before, celebrating and enjoying their rest, as most soldiers did when not in battle.

Gilgamesh left the guesthouse with only his clothes and sword, and wandered through the small village towards the close by river Euphrates. The air was still cool from the night, though it was gradually heating up. The humans were already up and starting their long working day. Some of them greeted him. Unlike most gods, the Nine were neither feared, worshipped nor hated by the humans. On the contrary, their fighting the Barbaroi, who mainly targeted the human slaves rather than the gods, had made them into heroes and protectors in the eyes of the humans. Of course, the stern-faced Gilgamesh returned their nods without smiling.

When he reached the river, Gilgamesh crouched along the waterline, putting his sword next to him and removing his shirt. There were other humans there, women filling urns of water, but most of them didn't look at him, out of some twisted sense of respect - something that Gilgamesh had never been able to understand with the humans outside his Nine. To him, it was more polite to look somebody in the eyes, than to go out of your way not to do it. But the humans made a point of rarely, if ever, looking their gods in the eyes. And the Nine were probably as close to gods as any of the humans in the village had ever seen. The Annunaki rarely went out of their way to small villages like this.

His body ached slightly from the wounds of the battle, when he removed his shirt, revealing pale scars running in zigzag patterns across his wiry torso and back. But they only caused a momentary stiffness in him. Soon, he began to wash himself clean, slowly waking up from his morning drowsiness. One last yawn marked his complete waking up, and he stretched his weary muscles as he began to get dressed again. Afterwards, as always, his next stop was the local inn, under which's hospitality they were there, and where they had eaten their meals every day since their arrival.

He felt certain he would meet his friends there when they woke up. Though it could take time, as many of them had spent the last few nights drinking far into the early mornings. When he entered the inn, a large and bright sandstone building with many open windows in its sandstone walls, he saw immediate traces of his comrades' drinking orgy from the night before, as there were still empty wine pitchers and clay goblets scattered on the tables. The inn keeper, busy cleaning up from the night before, greeted him respectfully. Gilgamesh lowered his head in a slight, but polite bow, and sat down heavily by a table. A servant girl was quick to put forth his food, and water with a smile and curtsy.

"Thank you." He said, without as much as a smile, before he began to eat.

The sun only provided a minor element of comfort for one such of Amebra, especially when one was coated in and even firmly entrenched with a vast quantity of steel and iron, mixed with another number of nerveless and solid, cold materials as a automatas like he was. The fact that the sun was unwelcoming and maybe even willfully ignorant to Mechanized man like he was little to none of the Aged machines concern as he festered in a world of thought and figures, one devoid of the trivial matters and un-shocking sights that a daily mortal life could only offer to an old machine like Amebra and thus the words, heat and events right then was no more than omnipresent than the air blowing in the world or the clouds hovering up above, in fact it might even be pushing it to say that Amebra was even giving the visual world that much attention even when compared to such barely noticed items in the earthen plain.

Amebra simply sat down in that inn, his body fully cloaked in the darkness and shades conducted by the bellies of the stone based walls around him as rested within the very corner between the two hulking and sand tinted lavished concrete that kept this simple structure alive, such a blight
of dark colours spiraled around that corner, as if all the possible nightly fashions and ethereal shadows had crept to the most smallest areas in attempt to withdraw as much as one could from the windows of the inn which whom was happily allowing the light to grace such a place with no sense of resistance at all, fortunately this darkness embraced that mixture of nerves and gears in the corner and of course in affect to this aided his frame from being seen by those around him. That display not only stick to the walls but onto the assortment of holy construction himself as he sat on a old and crippled chair, finely painted brown once more as if in hope to hide it cracks that crept up its four legs but alas did a poor job of doing so, unfortunately the paint would not save the furniture from negative judgement any way due to the seven inch hunk of wood being snapped directly from the spine of the wooden design, leaving only half of it to support the very rectangle one would rest their middle body on, making it creek just slightly as the automatas twitched his back for a brief moment when staring into the unknown visions of the world around him.

of course when his state was glanced at by anyone else would notice nothing more than a "man" inspecting a patch on the opposite wall intently for a long period of time, which he did in their eyes until the sounds of footsteps suddenly made the head move just a centre metre towards the door, revealing a black, marble like eye embedded within a scope out of the shadows he was in as Giglamesh walked into the warmth of the tavern.

Perhaps it was Amebra sense of order that made him take notice of his current commander while anyone else who made a sound would of been faced with treatment with apathy or absolutely ignored routinely by him when in such a trance but whatever his motivations to leave that world of his behind was of no concern, all that really mattered was his eyes were now all glowing apart from his scope which only let out a tiny orchestra of scratching circuits and devices inside to be heard for the flesh bound ears around him as the narrow piece of metal started to move forward and twist slowly before retreating back to its default position as before, despite the sudden examination Amebra was not making a move or hinting to any desire to approach Geglamesh, or him to do the same in any fashion, if anything his general appearance actually rather hostile socially to anyone that may of not been strongly devoted to the anu as gods as he wore that long shroud which draped against the ground weakly, giving the floor miniature strokes with there fabrics when being pushed by the weak bouts of wind that occurred every now and then, even if one was holy and fully understood and appreciated the decoration of holy writing, deadly deities and endlessly holy tails it was still a intimidating sight to behold.

The shadowy figure started to weakly let his fingers stroke his own metal carcass under his shroud, both of his upper limbs hidden as is standard with such a large area of clothing and sometimes needed for one in automatas line of work, notably now as the tool of the gods was not overly fond of being exposed to villages as he had worked many a occasions which required him to carry out executions and punishments upon places like this and knowing that he was here could evoke fear in the peasantry in such small and un-defended rural areas, definitely if sickness was to arise as wiping out with poison shots was his costume when attacking such puny Territories like this, so he just sat, un-willingly to draw any kind of attention to himself, even to the point that he left the others to bath in wine and celebration last night on their own. Aembra was not a partying person, it did not evoke his inner desires as he was a very strongly devoted holy character and earned that aspect to his identity with great reason but none the less the fact he could not drink or eat as other did was not helping him in enjoying the values of victory through material terms.

A sudden snort from one of her sleeping companions roused Derrewyn. She sat up quickly and remained there for a moment, orienting herself, before rising to her feet. The stench of alcohol reached her nostrils and she wrinkled her nose, disgusted. A cursory glance revealed Gilgamesh and Aembra were absent. She wondered briefly if the metal man needed to sleep, but soon banished such thoughts from her mind as she gathered her things and prepared to begin a new day. She pulled on her clothing, careful not to aggravate the cut on her back. She contemplated putting on her armor, as she felt naked without it, but decided she needed to wash. The presence of her companions, reeking of debauchery, caused her to feel unclean.

She walked toward the river, carrying her weapons and armor, and ignored the stares of the villagers. Apparently Elohim did not often come here, which was hardly surprising. Free Elohim would not come this far into the Empire, and slaves would have little use in a village this small. Still, she found their attention annoying. Why were the Nine called defend them? Did they not have their own warriors to defend themselves?

Humans were a puzzle to Derrewyn. They seemed incapable of solving their own problems. They were happy to whore themselves to the false gods in exchange for a sense of security. Perhaps they were made to need direction, like domesticated animals.

These thoughts kept her occupied until she reached the banks of the Euphrates. She unashamedly removed her clothing and placed her belongings in a neat pile within easy reach, blades on top; the result of a habit of hypervigilance. The water was cool and clean, and removing the layer of grime from spending the night in a room of drunkards was refreshing. She pulled her long white hair free of its braid and rinsed it, then returned to shore and dressed herself. If the humans were staring she did not notice.

After braiding her hair she took a moment to look toward her home and remember her ancestors. As she prayed, she wondered what had become of their spirits. Did they linger in that place, watching as the empire claimed it for their own? Or did the desecration of the land cause them to disperse and wander the world as she did? She added a new prayer; instead of praying for the help and guidance from her ancestors, she prayed for them.

This done, she finished preparing for the day by donning her armor and weapons. Her knives went in sheaths on her thighs and her unstrung bow was strapped to her back. She figured she could find Gilgamesh and Aembra at the inn, and went there. Sure enough, when she arrived she saw the half-Anu and metal man were both present. Derrewyn sat down across the table from Gilgamesh, greeting him with a curt nod, and was promptly given food and water by a young woman. She did not acknowledge her, but began eating.

Gilgamesh greeted Derrewyn with a short nod. Soon after, he also noticed that the automata of the Nine, Amebra, was in the room. After the two, the rest of the Nine slowly begun to filter into the inn for breakfast. Many of them hadn't bothered with washing beforehand, and reeked of alcohol. One of them even shouted out loud for food. Gilgamesh gritted his teeth hard, slammed his fork into the table, and stood up, catching their attention. An irritated wrinkle trembled on his forehead as he closed his eyes hard. Finally, he looked at them, and growled:

"I have given no order for you not to enjoy yourselves. But don't think to exploit this leniency of mine! You are no common soldiers - you are the Nine! Stop acting like mindless drunken scum! Go clean yourselves up before you come marching in here like an invading army! Now!" The warriors, sensing the irritation of their commander growing, made a hurried retreat towards the door, knowing very well that it was not wise to annoy him.

Gilgamesh sat down again with a heavy sigh, shaking his head muttering an inaudible curse.

Before the swordsmen reached the door, however, a scream reached everyone's ears. As one, their hands went to their swords, when a woman came in through the door, her face contorted in fear. Her eyes, naked with panic, searched the room until they fell on Gilgamesh, who she recognized by his long, white hair as the leader of the Nine. She ran towards him and fell on her knees at his side, grabbing his clothes.

"My Lord! Barbaroi! They're attacking the village from the Euphrates! They took my daughter! Please, you have to save her!"

"Barbaroi? That's impossible! No Barbaroi would venture this deep into the Empire!" Gilgamesh exclaimed, standing up so fast the chair fell down behind him. But a look at her face told him she wasn't lying. At the very least, she had some reason for her panic, and if it wasn't Barbaroi, it had to be something of equal horridness - it was difficult to mistake Barbaroi for any other creatures and races wandering the Crescent Lands. Gilgamesh gritted his teeth as he grabbed her arm, and surprisingly gently pulled her to her feet. Looking her in the eyes, he said: "Go home. This is a battle we're used to."

Without waiting for a response, he looked around at his Nine, and started dealing out orders:
"Get ready! Helios, scout out the river ahead. I want a full report when we arrive."

"Yes, commander!" The man exclaimed as he darted out the door with two others. Gilgamesh continued:

"Eliana - I need you to lead the town's defenses! Draw the attention of the Barbaroi so we can get behind their lines."

"As you wish, commander." Eliana said with a curt bow. She left with two others, leaving only two of the Nine behind with him. Gilgamesh turned to them.

"Derrewyn, Amebra, come with me. We head for the Euphrates!"

Without further ado he darted out the door and began to run down towards the river. It wasn't long before they saw smoke in the sky, from burning houses. When they reached the river, they saw the human defenders struggle to keep hordes of Barbaroi at bay on the bridge over the Euphrates. He stopped dead in his tracks, gritting his teeth. There were at least a hundred Barbaroi, a considerable force by any accounts, and only roughly forty humans to defend the village. The Barbaroi had already begun feeble attempts to swim across the Euphrates. Some of them even succeeded. But the humans had the Nine on their side. They could win.

"Listen to me. Amebra - you can fight the enemy from afar. I want you to watch our backs while we make it across the river. Derrewyn. You and I will cross the river and get behind the enemy forces. We have two things that needs doing; rescuing that woman's daughter, and killing the leader of the Barbaroi." He looked out at the embattled bridge. "It looks grim right now because they somehow managed to surprise us, but if we can do that, we have a chance at turning the tide. Derrewyn, go search for a boat along the river that can take us across. Amebra, you watch her back. I need to find Helios and hear his report about the situation."

He motioned with his head for them to get started, and then ran down towards the river without another word.

The hooded figure slowly let his head tilt it's angle by a few centre metres, an inch or so as the girl started to wander within the safety of the inn with such a display of her lung power, his ears or what could be considered his ears jumped slightly in alert when the shrieking of the biped mammal sieged his inner organs, making his long scope advanced forward slightly with a tiny twitch of metal scraping metal inside. The neck of Amebra slowly re-positioned itself once so his chin will now be in the middle of the width between his shoulders as he watched the display from the shadowy sectors of the room while the woman wailed and moaned about her predicament, Amebra was indeed merciful compared to others of his kin within the obedience of the holy gods but yet whenever a human, a creature even a god started to cry and panic he found it demoralizing and just outright annoying, one could be sure that if the deity serving machine could reveal expressions and emotional reactions that one such reaction right now would be a frown, a grumpy one with slightly sprung eyes from the shock of being rudely taken out of his own thoughts, perhaps it was the fact that the automatas was just too used to the silence of the woods and the hollow hummings of electricity in his birthplace had cheapen the value of noise to him throughout the untold number of years.

Amebra quickly rose from the shadows of his shaded nest and revealed a long, metal staff under his cloak, using it to walk with as they all begun to exit the warmth of the building and into the common grounds of peasantry and human folk when passing in the shadow of giglamesh to the designated attacking area, stopping as he ceased to move and finally pulling down his hood with his set of long, sparrow like claws which tinder and reflected slightly in the suns gaze as it removed the fabric from his face, revealing the mechanical being beneath and thus with that spread his arms to show his body, removing the scripted viel and allowing the metal staff to be seen as what it truly was, his gun and long ranged weapon that was crafted within the image of a holy palm striking the un-faithful. A few seconds passed as they grew closer to the lakes beginning and naturally with one with such a long range of sight, amembra let his long scope reach out as far it could while the red on his rectangle fashioned orb blinked when inspecting the masses of approaching enemies and mutations.

The humans neck twisted and turn, rearranging the various organs and components inside, gently letting out a chorus of working jumps of electricity and miniature yelps of gears twitching, turnning and spiraling as machines do when working in such a fashion, of course these where mostly drowned out by the large event of sounds regulating around them due to the panic of battle, while breaths where taken Amembra remained calm when he took his own, letting out breath in reply to his commanding officers orders although his own eyes never left the numerous number of enemies across the lake, only switching targets from the soon to be victims of his gods wrath to the two beside him as the seconds flew past after Giglamesh's words and simply let out a young but crackled, electric tone mixed with a sense of mannerism, almost British in ancient "Yes sir" and begun to let his light feet tread at a fast pace, producing not a single sound as he ran across the sand smothered terrain to a small hill of just a few metres away and suddenly lied down on his stomach with his weapon pointing outwards, his robe mixing well with the tint of the ground and the old, scriptures on his back, in fact the only real defining items from afar was metal of his eyes and the bronze of his gun as the ground slowly crept over his robes with the breeze and helped his writing and pictures be hidden slightly while he took aim.

A hard days sweat glistened on the brow of the Elohim. His muscles, already larger than your typical human's head, bulged, revealing a secondary layer or mound of muscle, as he hoisted the large sandstone block into place finishing the guard tower. It was his second one. In what would have taken weeks to assemble, the Elohim had done in a mere two days. The guards towers were approximately thirty feet high, made of ten foot wide blocks that weigh close to several hundred pounds each. Still, the giant wasn't tired yet. But, he took the moment after the stone was in place to fill his canteen.

He moved past the slaves and guards. He was enormous compared to them. Easily three times their size in weight, height and broadness. Reaching the well, he pulled the draw bucket with one simple tug to the surface and used it like a beer mug. He let the pristine and cool water flow over his half naked body, washing him of his sweaty stench and cleansing him of dirt and grime. This would have been done in his native lands in the highlands where it snowed often and the snow would blanket them and then melt washing them naturally.

Lifting his head after dumping a bucket full of water upon it, he looked up quizzically. He heard something, something distinct. Flipping his sopping hair back, he looked down at the pebbles upon the ground. They rattled with the marching of feet upon the ground. Odin's nose flared, inhaling the air. It was their way, the northern tribe relied on their senses heavily to hunt the most frightening of creatures. He stepped over to the gates surrounding the small outpost.

His hand fell on his sword, an immense weapon by any standard. Taller than any man, it was weighted like a tree. Its blade seven feet in length, and three across. It could cut swaths through lesser creatures. Part of the reason his people were known as barbarians, were for their savage 'tooth'n'nail' style of fighting. But truth be told, they were only barbaric to their enemies. The Annunaki were apart of that biased hatred and the only thing keeping him from causing absolute havoc was the collar around his throat-another tool that the Anunnaki employed to keep subjects that were ordinarily beyond their control like the Elohim, in their control. It could and often did sent shock waves through his massive build. But other than the collar, was the immense hatred for the Barbaroi.

Spotting the amassing force across the embankment. With a few 'steps', Odin was at the forefront of the confrontation. The score of Barbaroi began to advance around to where the waters were at their most shallow. Threatening to cross the delta, Odin followed along the beach head to the crossing point. Behind him, dragging the earth as though a tilling plow tearing it asunder. He carried it with little regard to its integrity, to him it was not to be honored. The warrior was to be honored. The weapon was just a tool like a plow to a farmer and the coin to a merchant.

With a blood-freezing battle cry, the barbaroi launched themselves across the bridge towards the village's meager defenses. In response, the militia, too, let out a battle cry, and counterattacked. Gilgamesh didn't reach the bridge before the attack. He turned around and saw the automata on a slope, firing at the barbaroi with deadly accuracy. Abandoning all thoughts on trying to keep his men organized - they were heroes, not soldiers, and they fought best when let loose rather than in disciplined formations - he unsheathed his sword, and with the shield in his left hand, rushed towards the bridge.

It was chaos. Friends and foes fought in an inferno of human and barbaroi bodies, chatocially mixed in a huge mess of maiming and killing. Blood began to splatter on the bridge under Gilgamesh's feet, making it slippery to move on. Dead bodies fell to all sides, both human and barbaroi. Gilgamesh himself managed to make his way to the point where the humans began to thin out and the barbaroi numbers were higher - the "line" if one wanted so. There, he was met by a huge, thin, bony mantis-like creature with huge claws on its arms. It was a Barbaroi, and truly one of the most disgusting he'd ever seen. He wasn't even sure it was sentient. His eyes widened in shock and horror when he saw it, and the creature raised its claws to kill him on the spot.

Gilgamesh leapt backwards, barely managing to avoid the creature's claws as they hit the wooden bridge. One of them stuck there, and the creature failed to pull it out. The other one, however, got free, and lashed out towards Gilgamesh's mid-section. He blocked it with his shield, and pushed it sideways, exposing the creature. With little hesitation, he let his nameless sword leap from the left to the right in a powerful backhand slash, cutting the creature's throat. It let out a shrill shriek as black blood pumped out, splattering Gilgamesh's armor, hair, and face, and the creature died in front of his eyes.

"Hold the line!" He yelled. "Do not retreat, or you will all be killed! Helios!" He added the name with a yell when he spotted the human among the militia. The human looked over to him after slaying a Barbaroi, and Gilgamesh continued: "Phalanx! If we can tighten the ranks, we will be able to hold them off!" He continued: "I need volunteers! We will have to push them back to give room to tighten our formations!"

Without waiting for a reply, he and several other warriors, some of them his own men, began to push forward with incredible battle-prowess, pushing back the Barbaroi filth and giving the room needed to tighten the formations to a phalanx. Gilgamesh had little time to study the fighters among their own ranks, but at one point he caught sight of a gigantic Elohim barbarian with platinum hair, wielding an enormous sword. The warrior wreaked havoc among the barbaroi, unlike anything Gilgamesh had ever seen before. He made a mental note to talk to the man after the battle - if they all survived, that was.

The Elohim scowled at the idea of running. There was no such thing to his kind. Fear was for the weak and fool hardy. There was a difference in being incapable and being useless. A difference between cowardice and knowing one was beaten. He didn't blame the humans, they were fragile; easily broken and easily slain.

He made a mental note to talk to the man after the battle - if they all survived, that was

This was the first battle in a long while, as he caught a leaping Barbaroi in his hand he drove his sword before the contingent before him. The width of the blade and the sheer size of the Elohim was enough to block the division that threatened to overwhelm. Gripping the head of the Barbaroi in his hand, he tore it free of the body with as much ease as it took to pry a cork from a wine bottle. The limp, lifeless body of the Barbaroi was then cast back into the ranks of the horde separating them and causing the stragglers to fall off the bridge entirely before he gripped his immense sword, retrieving it from its divergence of the very bridge they were on; lifting it like it were a gate, the enemy were ready were to advance but soon found that they were about several feet to shy.

Odin spun the blade in his hand like any human warrior could do ambidextrously with a similar blade relevant to their size. The only difference was, when he swung his blade horizontally, scores of Barbaoi were swept away as if a massive wave had over taken them. Indeed, the back draft of the winds separating as they passed coequally along the surface of the huge and seemingly cumbersome weapon were felt like shearing winds of a vortex. He continued forwards, a venerable wall at the fore front of the battle. Before he was sent spiraling into a beserker's rage.

Swinging his sword to his left he cleaved several barbaroi in twain before he he was struck by several spears. The weapons impaled his shoulder and abdomen, their jagged tips like serrated coral easily pierced his unarmored flesh. But grasping the spears themselves, he tore them, unrestrained, from his body. Blood flowed from his injuries, but this seemed to stop the titan, if only momentarily.

He suddenly speared the last remaining bit of the bridge, having advanced almost to the other side. His hands, mightily took a tightened grasp of the hilt; eyes now glowing with a fierce rage. A rage respected even by the Annunaki people as it was what made the Elohim such formidable enemies as well as slaves. Releasing an almost animal like bellow, he stepped to the side and forth, rending the enemies before himself and as he lifted the blade from the bridge, rent the very earth and sent a cataclysmic fissure emanating from his blade. Several yards of earthen soil were torn asunder, splitting like splitting logs for a fire and engulfing the ranks of the barbaroi in further chaos.

Behind him, with renewed conviction at Gilgamesh's commands, the automata 's expert shooting and Odin's slaughter, did the human forces rush forwards, spilling out onto the ruined landscape battling the Barbaroi on their own terms. Still blood crazed, Odin's swipes continued to grow more fearsome; splitting trees in half along with the fellowship of the ugly pestilence before him.

Through the eyes of a mechanical man hordes where seen amassing in the distance, each of their details revealed and open for him to explore and inspect at his leisure while any normal fellow would see but huddled mounds of flesh and blades swirling from such a length of paces he was from the belly of the beast that is war and this suited him with ease as his none-existent ears could relax when the sounds of rupturing earth and screaming casualties where but as loud as a breeze of air to him from this range. The singular camera scope begun it's designed purpose as the spine of it extended just a centre metre or so and stared emotionless at the various numbers of foes and enemies, showing nothing but the white circle reflection in his artificial eye produced by the suns rays, cindering slightly like that of water being kissed by the lights above as it made waves upon itself.

Just like water Amebra eyes glowed mystereously on the left side of his face while the other tinder along with his sandy cloak being brushed in wrinkles in that a similar fashion to waves of water where made, the same silence followed and the whispers of gentle humming winds trekked in the atmosphere and into the ears of those around, as if waiting for a shark to jump up from the waves and finally catch its prey before returning to the silent deep the tension built more and more before a sudden and very minute "Zzzt" escaped into the air. The open palm of his gods merely pushed against his wrist gently in reaction to this sound, making his shoulders bend back an inch along with his elbows in reaction before being pushed back into the default shooting position before, generating very gentle sounds of cloth scraping against sand, the same sound one would get if they stroked the tip of ones finger along the flat face of paper roughly.

The "zzzt" only had a moment freedom before another sound followed, a louder but swifter sound of something smacking into a soft substances, it was practically un-noticeable, no one reacted and silence once again ensued, it seemed it took a whole 20 seconds for one of the barbaroi to suddenly stop and fall to the ground with but a small leak of red liquids flowing out of his skull from a hole no bigger than a dot. As others gathered around him the same affect repeated and repeated every few seconds and one by one random troops fell. Some where decorated in noble clothing, others looked of peasantry and some even of monstrous proportions but none the less the same affect came to fulfillment. A split second occurred where the rhyme of death stopped as the robotic eyes of Amebra fell upon that massive solder whom was relinquishing his rage on those before him, a split second of his eyes suddenly flickering before another shot flew and instantly without warning made a Barbaroi left eye burst, splattering blood over the ground and thus rested the creature to a neutral state as it made it's new home upon the floor after trying to get close to Gilgamesh.

A slow moment stepped in as the long claws screeched gently as he swapped hands and moved his more humanoid set of fingers press a scripture on its arm before laying the gun down once again in its firing position and continuing his duty.

Between the giant Elohim and the automata hidden in the dunes behind the humans, Gilgamesh and his Nine, the enemy was pushed back to the bridgehead. Under the instructions of Helios, the human villagers and militiamen tightened together in a strong formation, a phalanx of spears and shields. Some rushed ahead to attack the enemy, but Gilgamesh and his Nine growled at them to get back. It was no time to get over-excited - though they had pushed the enemy back, a single mistake could be disastrous. Finally, Gilgamesh waved to his men to retreat to the phalanx. He then looked at the Elohim, and said:

"You fight bravely at the front of the battle, elohim slave. Now I ask of you that you join me in the phalanx." With that, he withdrew back to the front of the human battle formation, a perfect square of spear-armred humans, marching like one body towards the end of the bridge. The Barbaroi made another attack as the force that had pushed them back withdrew. They smashed against the phalanx like water against wavebreakers, but the phalanx, supported by scores of men lined up behind each other, did not flinch, nor did it waver. The Barbaroi could just as well have run into a wall.

That was when the real fighting began.

The phalanx began to push back. Spears impaled the monstrous creatures. Swords decapitated them, or sliced off their limbs. The Barbaroi threw themselves against the phalanx over and over again, only to once more be pushed back from the bridge as the human formation marched on towards the bridgehead. Soon, the ground was slippery with black Barbaroi blood, and the dead bodies of their kin. The enemy was being butchered. Gilgamesh commanded them, but without the courage of the humans, and of his own Nine, it would have been a disaster.

The battle continued for a short while after. After leaving the bridge, the human phalanx lost some of its advantages, but at that time the Barbaroi had been so badly beaten that they were too few in numbers to exploit it. As they attacked, they were being slaughtered. Soon, they broke, and fled. The humans responded to this by letting out a booming loud thunder of cheers. Gilgamesh, on the other hand, remained as stern as always.

He looked around, waving for Amebra to approach the bridge. Then, he turned towards the giant Elohim, and approached him.

"You fought well today, Elohim." He said. "I can see that you are a proud warrior, not a slave. I will offer you your freedom for the battle you fought here today to defend these humans. And I will offer you a place among my men, as a member of the Nine, if you will take it. I am sure your skill in battle would serve the Empire, and the humans it protects, very well. What say you?" Even when complimenting the Elohim, Gilgamesh didn't smile. He rarely did.

Even when complimenting the Elohim, Gilgamesh didn't smile. He rarely did.

The Elohim turned towards the general in control of the phalanx. He bore a strong resemblance of an Annunaki, but with the hint of something else. Perhaps it was human but he couldn't be certain. Turning the sword back handed, he thrust the sword into into the ground sharply and stepped up to the general. Even on his mount, the Annunaki only came up to the lower regions of his chest. He stopped before the general, then responded quite frankly.

"Make no mistake-your people invaded my lands, took me and my family as hostages with your strange, unnatural contraptions and work us like common mules. Now you ask me this day to join your group, to help defend and empire that has done nothing but wrought terror and strife upon these lands? If I did not have this amulet bound to me, I would kill you where you stand!"

His eyes burned with a passionate disdain for the Annunaki. His facial features showed contempt for his situation and that of his people.

"Why should I help you with your fight? What more will I become if you leave me here? I am a slave to them as I will be to you. Freedom is never free, especially when your dealing with an Anunnaki. You, you neither smell entirely Annunaki no ways. You're a hybrid. you ever been enslaved human?"

Gilgamesh looked up at the man for a moment. Then he looked down, as if speaking to himself.

"I will forgive your rudeness towards me, Elohim." He said with a low voice. But then his eyes flared as he looked up. "But I will not forgive you if you speak ill of the Empire." He still spoke calmly, but with a cold edge to his voice. His hand landed on his sword on the left hip of his light armor, and suddenly, he lashed out with it in a backhand strike at the giant. As he retreated a single step and sheathed the sword once more, the remains of the Elohim's slave collar fell to the ground.

"You - you can't do that!" One of the humans protested, but a sharp glare from Gilgamesh silenced him. The general turned back to the Elohim.

"I have no use for slaves. If you are to serve me, you will serve me as a free man, not as a slave." He said. "I am Gilgamesh, leader of the Nine and general in the armies of Anu. I am the son of an Annunaki general, and a human priestess. I am neither human, nor Annunaki, but an accursed halfbreed. Yet I have carved out a place for myself in the Empire, an empire that I will defend with my life. But I do not see eye to eye with all Annunaki. Some of "my" people would see all humans enslaved. I would see them protected. As I would all other people who fall under the influence of the Empire." He took a step closer, and landed a hand on the giant's arm, his voice taking an almost - almost - friendly tone.

"I will not ask you to throw away your life in defense of the Empire, Elohim. I will ask you to help me change it into something you would throw away your life to defend. For the good of the Empire, for the good of our Gods, and for the good of all who bask in the rays of their glorious divinity...fight by my side as a member of the Nine. Prove to the gods that your people are more than simple slaves. Help me change this country into something worth dying for."

Odin stood there, unflinching as the blade cut a swift swathe through the magical amulet that bound the Elohim from his truer power. While under the influence he was bound to one half of his power- now he was returned to his true strength. Suddenly, there was a great tension in the air as the elephantine man towered over the half-breed Anunnaki. But even as close as he was, to be able to perhaps, reach out and crush the Annunaki with his bare hands or rend him with his sword-nothing happened. He didn't move aggressively towards the general, or even reach for his sword.

Instead, he listened to his words. His eyes following the smaller man as he sauntered towards him and settled a hand on his immensely built arm. One blow from his hand was said to be like being hit from a charging rhino or stampeding elephant. But his hand didn't lift, even when all the a hatred for the Annunaki burned away at his pride as an Elohim. His hand was stilled by the general's words. And it was with his last statements, that he found that he actually held a respect for the commander.

Odin turned his head as the wind began to blow. The Elohim were, spiritual beings. They found the machines the Annunaki used as strange, unusual- unnatural. The Elohim believed that everything had a reason. Every event- every creation. Perhaps, this man was here to bring the winds of change to the Annunaki. The possibility of his people's salvation was to great a thing to bear against the pride of his own existence. He would do anything to save his people, even if he must be obligated to an Annunaki, but then again he was only half Annunaki.

Swallowing, as he knelt down to one knee before the general. Staring at him on more equal grounds. This was more than just about a sense of pride- he was accepting him and his group as a fellow tribe. Which he would sacrifice for, bleed and die for. This was the Elohim way. Once a tribe was accepted, they could not be severed. They would be bound until the day that the tribe was entirely destroyed.

"For my people, I will do as you command of me. My Oracle has stilled my rage, and found me unwilling to pass prejudice upon you. I hope you are sincere about bringing change to the Empire."

Amebra long scope slowly let out a tiny hum of twitching gears as the various designs within started to twist and turn when withdrawing the protruding mechanism within the composite of his robotic eye socket, letting the reflections of the sun bounce off the screen of his observer while the other four serenely glowed and flickered repeatively, swapping and lighting up over and over as if he was blinking before finally stopping after had thoroughly running his sight over the battlefield over and over. Every now and then after a few seconds a tiny "Zzzt" would break the silent conclusion of the fight that just had moment been very much roaring with energy, but now those swift bumps of sound where was all that left along with the gurgles of crawling survivors and bleeding injured opponents, it took only a few shots, how many is hard tell due to the swift and silent attacks the automatas produced when striking at his gods foes but wether the shots where ten or two the fact remained was that all that once had life, even life that was dripping from their hands was put to the beds of death by the stings of the mechanical tool.

As the last shots where taken and the organic liquids spilt on to the soil, Amebra eyes where put at ease with a final flicker of light from his orbs while, at the same time his claw slowly started to creep its blades from the belly of his gun and place the set of talons on the warm skin of the sand beneath him, spreading some of the minature grains of glass across the ground as he flexed the pumps in his metal limb, making a gentle sound of hissing when the small metal constructs scrapped across each other when acting like a muscle as they pulled and push, each being hot and producing steam like sounds after having been in the sun, building up heat from use and under the warmth of his cloak, although the high temperature was not a hindrance on the action of lifting the bio-machine up from the earth and on his knees. Amebra slowly stood up and let his weapon rest on the ground while being gripped by his fleshly fingers, hiding himself once more within his long cape as he started to travel down the sands up to Gilgamesh and the giant man before him with his guni n hand like a walking stick once more. It took am minute or so for Amebra to arrive at their position as he wasn't really in a rush of any sort nor was into attracting attention to himself, so naturally he only got there after a great deal of talking had been done and that once hulking giant was now tamely on his knees when his trek ceased.

The machine stood a metre or so away from them both, only looking down and staring at the being with a odd twitching emitting from his hood every few seconds before turning his neck to look at his commander" There are not any survivors, Gilgamesh..." He paused for a second as he noticed the broken remains of the mans collar on the ground and simply gave Gilgamesh the same silence he gave a stranger, as if to let the tension in the air do in place of his words of disapproval.

Gilgamesh watched with his usual cold eyes as the giant crouched in front of him. But his sheer size meant that even when crouching, he was almost at face level of the Annunaki General. He spoke, as the tension in the air broke: "For my people, I will do as you command of me. My Oracle has stilled my rage, and found me unwilling to pass prejudice upon you. I hope you are sincere about bringing change to the Empire."

Gilgamesh replied:
"Your oracle is as wise as they say, Elohim. I give you my word as a son of Anu, that I fight to protect this Empire, and the people who live in it, whether they are gods, or mortals. And I will change it to something the Nine would be proud of serving, or I will die trying. That is my oath to you, and all members of the Nine, who's lives have been touched less favorably by our gods."

Gilgamesh looked up as another member of the Nine made his appearance. It was the automata, Amebra, who came walking. Many of the humans backed away at the sight of an automata. The tension in the air returned, as they showed fear and concern over his presence. They had all heard the rumors of automatas being sent out by the Empire to wipe out entire villages. Yet this automata approached the leader of the Nine as if being one of his men, and the Nine were known to protect humans, even as they served the Empire.

"There were no survivors, Gilgamesh." The automata reported. Gilgamesh looked at him, and gave a short nod.

"It is, then, as it should be." He replied grimly. "The Barbaroi deserve no mercy." He looked around at the members of the Nine who started to gather around, and called out: "Spread out and make sure none got away." The warriors spread out, and began to disappear out of sight, though it was clear there would be no signs of any Barbaroi having fled during the battle. The automata was known to be very efficient in his work.

A sudden call from a human caught their attention. The human came running towards Gilgamesh. One of the Nine stepped forward, blocking his path with a sword, but Gilgamesh told him to let the man pass. And so the human reached Gilgamesh, and, while trying to catch his breath, informed him that a vimana, an Annunaki flying machine, was on its way to the village, escorted by many smaller vimanas. It looked like an important god was on his or her way there. Gilgamesh listened in silence to the human's words, and then looked around.

"All humans, return to the village and your lives. The gods do not like to be looked upon by mortals." None of the humans objected, and they began to filter away from the beaches of Euphrates, back to their homes.

Then, the vimanas came within sight. A heavy humming sound in the air alerted to their approach. There was a strange magnetic, almost electric field in the air as well, making the hair stand on end on people's skin, as the temple-like, pyramid-shaped vessel came within sight. It almost looked like a flying building made out of brown metal. Radiating in its bronze-like glory in the sun, the vessel was escorted not by dozens, but by hundreds, of smaller vessels circulating in the sky around it and the village. And then, the vimana landed, across the Euphrates where there was plenty of space.

A gate opened, and people left the air ship. One in particular came riding on a great, white horse of the large breed that the Annunaki used when they resorted to traveling by horse. And the woman on the horse was someone that Gilgamesh recognized very well. Her beauty, and her human face, with those subtle reptilian lines, and her soft, slightly revealing, white clothes...and most importantly, the elite Annunaki soldiers traveling around her. It all showed that she was not only a goddess of great stature. She was indeed the Goddess of War herself, Inanna.

"Bow." Gilgamesh sharply said to his men. Like one, the Nine fell to their knees, lowering their heads. Even Gilgamesh himself, himself a warrior of great stature, did not look her in the eyes as she approached on horseback. The drumming from the horse hoves as she crossed the bridge was the only thing telling him how close she was. Finally, she reached the beach on the near side of the bridge, and dismounted her horse. The bodyguards, wielding strange weapon contraptions that few non-Annunaki had ever seen, kept their weapons ready, and their eyes sharp on the Nine.

"It seems as if we missed a battle here, General of the Nine." The woman spoke as she stopped in front of the bowing general.
"I would not bother you with such a petty foe, Divine Lady." Gilgamesh replied politely, still without looking up at her. "They were a band of Barbaroi. We aided the humans in routing them from the beautiful grasslands of the Empire. They will no longer spoil the Earth the Divine Lady walks, by their presence."

"It makes me happy to hear that, General." She replied with a chuckle. She crouched in front of him, and caressed his cheek as she spoke in his ear. "You care a great deal for these humans, do you not, General?"
"Divine Lady, it is my duty to protect all citizens of the Empire, if I can." Gilgamesh replied. "However, my sword cuts only in the service of Anu, and for the glory of the Empire."

"I know, General. You are loyal, that you are." She stood up, and looked around. "So these are the mighty Nine? I have heard a lot about their immortal heroism. Will you introduce me, General?" Gilgamesh replied, passionately, yet with a monotone voice:
"Yes, Divine Lady." He turned his head back towards his men, and still without looking at the woman, spoke: "Blades of the Nine! Listen up, and heed well. You are in the presence of the Goddess of War, and General of the Imperial Army of the Empire of Anu, General Inanna herself! Mere mortal eyes like ours is not worthy of gazing upon her glory. Anyone who does will have his eyes put out, and be executed for the misdeed!"

The lady chuckled again.
"You are an impressive man, General. And I admire you so." She seemed almost amused by his words. Then her voice took a cold edge, and she spoke. "Heroes of the Nine. I have a mission for you. I ask you to once more risk your lives for the good of the Empire!"

(Firstly, I would like to say that I have not given up on this rp, I've just been handling my depression and been in and out of hospitals for my condition.)

The Elohim rose, lifting the bulk of him self to tower above the rest. His otherworldly eyes sifting through the masses of soldiers, farmers, and the ordinary men with no exceptional value. Though they were all slaves, only a chosen handful were allowed to make the difference. One of those few, a creation that was seen as "unnatural" to the Elohim because it was not perceptively, of nature. The Elohim viewed these Automatas with a weary uneasiness. It was not fear or reverence- but pity at the creation of an almost sentient being made in bondage with no notion of what true freedom was. Still, brave or foolish they would attack without heed nor hindrance. If they did have a soul in these, what the Elohim referred to as "Deus Ex Machina", they were courageous from a standpoint.

Elohim was perhaps, the only other being that felt the arriving presence of the Annunaki before it was purely evident. The Elohim were sensitive to the strange and aberrant. Turning his colossal form towards the floating palace, he had to admit- it was a spectacular sight. A bronze sheen reflected the day's burning sun off its glittering surface. The metal alloy was unlike anything he had seen in the wilderness. It had a bronze-copper appearance, but it gleamed brighter than cold. It emitted its own gravitational field that propelled it to and fro like it defied the planet's natrual tug, like him, it seemed to defy what what was generally accepted as truth.

When the machine landed, the troops began spilling out of the venerable structure in droves. Hundreds of guards spilled out over the landscape in a wide spread, all marching towards them. He watched the others, except for Gilgamesh and the Automata, stiffen with expectancy. The humans strayed off quickly with the smell of dread on them.

Odin could not bring himself to bow to this woman. Not because of her sex, there were plenty of hardy female warriors in the Elohim. No, it was because of HER race. He had vowed his allegiance to Gilgamesh and his forth coming efforts to make change. But this one, this one had made no such efforts that he was currently aware of. Remaining standing, he gripped the hilt of his immense sword, settling it across his shoulder with his arms dangling over its edges. He looked on sternly, not enacting upon his rage and attacking her on sight. Instead, he merely listened- for now.

(No worries, dude.)

Innana studied the defiant Elohim curiously for a moment. Several Annunaki soldiers made threatening moves towards him. Gilgamesh, noticing he was still standing, gritted his teeth hard. The female general and warlord looked down at him, and spoke: "It seems, General, that one of yours does not know his place. Perhaps we should show it to him?" Gilgamesh's eyes flashed from the Elohim to the woman, and, then, realizing he was looking at her he quickly averted his eyes downwards again.

"My apologies, Divine Lady." He said. Then, he called out sharply to the giant. "Elohim! I told you to kneel! I did not free you simply so that you could throw away your life defying the gods! You are a member of the Nine, now. The laws of the Nine say that any order from your commander are absolute. You will kneel to the General! The Nine must not be tainted by thoughtless defiance against the country it serves." He sent the giant an ice cold eye. "If your actions threaten the Nine, do not think I will hesitate for even a second to cut you down. Because what we fight for is more important than one new recruit to our ranks. What we fight for is more important than your petty defiance. I will ask you once more...drop to your knee. Kneel for the Divine Lady, or die at my hands."

His hand neared his hilt, as if to prove his point to the Elohim. The air was tense. The Annunaki soldiers seemed almost to be snarling at the barbarian, wanting nothing more than to kill him on the spot. The only thing that prevented them from doing it was Gilgamesh, who by his actions and words, kept them back.

Amebra simply let his head very slowly twist and bend a few inches, allowing his chin to peer at the ground while the long, sight piercing scope that protruded out of his hood started to flex outwards, using it's artificial assortment of muscles and gears to twitch the nose of the device in a complete circle which forced the reflections to spiral and transform when the base its foundation had half driven it into shade when being directed away from the sun rays. The other sets of rectangle each faced the floor in a vertical fashion when the sounds of hummings and soaring steel dragons came into earshot, The aged automatas refused to let them look upwards as he almost immediately knew what such a sound was being emitted from. It was not as if Amebra had not been in such a fortress, only for so long can one live without being allowed into places other are not..even if it is or was temporary.

The knees of the bio-mechanical being started to very gently let themselves bend, flexing the the twins of armored rubber bones within his legs as he did so, making only but a gentle humm like that of the ship when his feet sound disrupters where now facing the air, blowing the sand easily near his soles across the barrens fields. The machines robe twirled around him like a hand reaching out each of it's fingers to grasp someone, and just like that of a giant, the robes grab engulfed his entire frame, making him look nothing more than a pile of sand with inscriptions and holy tales upon them. The air slowly got rejected from his lungs with a loud exhale from the mask-like mouth he bares as he prepared for the arrival of a god. The gun that was once treaten as a staff now was being laid down before him, facing forward with its palm wide open, left un-touch and alone while each of his hands placed themselves by the side of the weapons spine as he went into a bowing position.

Amebra did not really make a sound nor a movement, remaining utterly still like a statue that had been randomly placed upon the ground when the commander, Gilgamesh and the goddess of war had started to converse, words flung between them both back and forth but naturally Amebra was not interested in petty talk, it was always in his nature to give stoic silence where assumptions can be made whenever a god talk to him in search of comfort, hobbies or approval, although to so he hasn't actually talked to gods would be false. His ears although non-existent simply absorbed a few of the lines, grasping the last few sentences with a slightly raised head, by a single inc. his neck twisted as a more dis-pleased air started to drift around the people there like a cloud of gas, yet the ancient weapon never moved or changed until asked to. Amebra took a second or two to allow Gilgamesh to finish his orders to the hulking Elohim before releasing a set of verbal expressions himself.

"Amebra.0040, Innana.Permission is granted to terminate nine members by command, goddess. They have no special privileges beyond my own judgement. There will be no repercussion legally from the other gods from a recorded stand point if you desire me to act upon disciplinary measures" A very quiet moment entered the air as he gave a long pause so the goddess could have a chance to reply in her own pace. The only action he took now was the retraction of his own scope as if he got himself ready to fight at a closer range incase such an order was given.

Odin's eyes were ablaze with pride, but just as he looked about ready to attack, his lips drew into a scowl as though a reprimanded dog.Gilgamesh had a point, however. He had given his fealty to him and him alone. Nevertheless, he didn't understand their ways. They were as foreign as the place he was now. Where he was from was the deep Russian woodlands in the mountains, where the cold could easily freeze a normal man and even the machines of the Annunaki had difficulty traversing because of the blizzards

His hand grasped the nearly three-hundred pounds of folded alloy;razor edge glinting in the sunlight. The motion to even lift the weapon was even a threatening movement to the guards that had quickly surrounded him. He gripped the weapon backhanded and plunged it back into the earth as the tattooed titan lifted his hands and placed them calmly on his head. Odin slowly knelt down to one knee then two, glancing around himself at the modicum of gathered warriors. Once down on his knees, both of them, he kept his hands on his head and his head tilted downwards.

"Amebra.0040, Innana.Permission is granted to terminate nine members by command, goddess. They have no special privileges beyond my own judgement. There will be no repercussion legally from the other gods from a recorded stand point if you desire me to act upon disciplinary measures." The words made a wry smile spread on the goddess' lips. Gilgamesh, on the other hand, remained emotionless, while upset whispers and murmurs coursed through the ranks of his Nine. Several of them sent hateful glares at the disloyal automata - but of course, Gilgamesh realized that his loyalty still lay with the Empire, not the Nine.

"Such a loyal automata, don't you think, General?" Innana chuckled. Gilgamesh replied almost mechanically:
"Yes, Divine Lady. He is a most loyal servant of the Empire."

The female warlord finally shook her head, at the automata.
"That is quite alright, automata." She replied. "Stand down. There will be no need for that at this time, though I do appreciate the gesture. Or what do you think, General? Do we need to let this automata cull your Nine, and remind them whom they serve?" She looked at Gilgamesh, who shook his head.

"No, Divine Lady. The Nine are loyal only to the Empire, yourself and Supreme God Anu." She snickered.
"So quick to answer. I wonder, General, are you and your "Nine" any different than this automata in your loyalty to the Empire? Do you serve humanity as much as you claim to serve your gods?" Gilgamesh didn't reply immediately, only staring into the ground. Then his eyes drifted to the elohim as the man lowered his sword, breaking the tension in the air. Even the Annunaki guards relaxed.

Few of the people around them noticed that, when the giant Elohim lowered his sword, Gilgamesh heaved a slight sigh of relief. He let his hand go of the sword, stood up, and walked up to the giant. Everyone, even Innana, seemed to watch their every moves as he did. Gilgamesh looked the giant in the eyes, and spoke, with a low voice that only the Elohim could hear: "You have sworn fealty to me, and you have followed through, trusted me, and proven your loyalty, Elohim. You have my word, I will not stray from the path I promised you I would forge for us. I will sooner die than waste the act you carried out here today." He surprised most of the Nine by reaching out, and offering his hand to the giant.

Afterwards, Gilgamesh turned around, bowing once again to his goddess.
"My apologies for the misunderstanding, Divine Lady." He said. "It has been settled. There will be no further disrespect from the Nine towards your great self."

Innana nodded, seemingly satisfied.
"I will let it slide this time, considering your loyal services to the Empire, General." She said. "Now, I must explain what is required of you, and be on my way. Tell me, General, are you familiar with the region of Assur?"

"Yes, Divine Lady. We fought there, once, against a band of Barbaroi. The humans there were great warriors, strong and of corageous hearts." Gilgamesh replied. "They aided us in routing the Barbaroi. We could not have won without them."

"Yes, so I was informed." Innana replied. "The humans that fought at your side were led by a great swordsman named Seth, as I recall. Fate has it so that you are destined to meet him again, or so it seems." Gilgamesh looked up at her in surprise, hurriedly looking away again before anyone could say anything. Innana smiled, silently ignoring his error, as she continued: "Seth has rebelled against the Empire, General. He is leading a great army of humans to war against Anu.

The Supreme God wishes for his demigod general, Gilgamesh, and his immortal Heroes of the Nine, to go to Assur, and crush the rebellion. An example must be made of these defiant humans who do not know their own place in the Circle of Life. They must be culled. General, you are to carry out this act for the glory of the Empire. Can you do it?" Gilgamesh gritted his teeth hard, not looking the female warlord in the eyes to show the dislike for the mission, that glimmered in his eyes. With a completely emotionless voice, he uttered a single, repeated phrase:

"...yes, Divine Lady."

She chuckled.
"I thought as much. You have never put the needs of humans before those of the Empire, General. I did not expect you to do so now, either. I wish you good luck, Heroes of the Nine." She called out to the warriors. "Do this for the Empire, and further shall the glory of the immortal Nine spread."

With those words, the woman turned around, and retreated towards her vimana. The guards followed her. Soon, the gates to the giant floating temple closed, and the thing began to rise up into the sky once more. Soon after, it was gone, leaving behind a group of soldiers, and an eerie silence. Gilgamesh himself stood up, staring up at the disappearing vimana with gritted teeth. He whispered to himself, a cold, angry but suppressed tone:

"He lied to me. Seth..." Then, looking at his Nine, he called out: "Heroes of the Nine! Gather your belongings and prepare to leave. We ride for Assur within the hour!"

Odin felt shamed, he had pledged his allegiance to Gilgamesh. But this woman, this Innana commanded respect from him she didn't deserve. She didn't show him fealty. She showed him a more sinister nature. But, at the behest of Gilgamesh, the half-Annunaki general that he had pledged his fealty he had surrendered his weapon much to the relief of many a guardsmen- and knelt and raised his hands behind his head. His oracle, a spiritual guide that was in tune with him like the seasons were to the woodland animals had told him to do so also.

All Elohim were bound a guide. Usually, they were the elders of the village that sacrificed themselves in order to become wise spirits that lived on in the clairvoyance of younger editions. These "spirits" as others would refer to them, gave their guidance free of will whenever they were asked. It wasn't until something dire arose did they ever place their input first without asking. Oracles had to be of sound and pure of mind before they were ever even acknowledged as such. Some were chosen from birth but also could change from their current lifestyle into a fully fledged Oracle.

He was surprised too by Gilgamesh's response to his kneeling even it was forced. Half expecting a reprimand, his words were not so severe they were encouraging rather. The giant lifted himself from the ground once the woman had left. He stared at the rising ship as it lifted off and ventured away from their position. Then, he turned his focus on the Annunaki warrior. He seemed as though he had been betrayed by someone he overly expected not to be. When he ordered the rest of the warriors to mount up, Odin grabbed his heavy sword and some logging chains. Fashioning the chins in an x-shape manner over his chest he had created a somewhat loose holster for the bulky weapon.

He then approached the general, standing by his commander as the tension built inside of him. He didn't look directly at him, rather, his eyes ventured across the landscape. While he knew nothing about this "Seth" character he tried to give an explanation through his own experience.

"I have no idea, who we are after. But its obvious its someone you thought you would never have to be fighting. You have to understand though, if he has rebelled it may be because of a similar goal you have. Not everyone envisions a peaceful coexistence with the Annunaki that you do. They don't necessarily want to wipe them out but rather, live peacefully not ruled by them. They want to believe separately in a different God or Gods as they may be. I know that no matter how many lashings an Elohim may receive, they will always believe only in the Earth Mother and the Sky Father. Not everyone accepts the Annunaki as their God."

Amebra remained in position with only his claw twitching its joints just a few centre metres as it awaited in anxiety for the orders of execution from the goddess, A few seconds filled the air in his mind as he took in every moment twice as long between her words when replying to his previously mentioned sentence but none of his tension reached a climax, only a release and relaxation of muscles when the suggestion was turned down after a few teasing sly grins from the war lady, his claws letting out a tiny scratching whisper from the sand grinding against his blades when letting his mind return once more to a none-combatant state, simply letting out a emotionless "Yes, Goddess" to her in acknowledgement before arching his neck up just an inch when the sound air thrusting against the earth once more took ahold of the scene. The ancient machine's long scope stretched out for a moment and twisted with a few electronic blips of sound as it examined the now distancing monolith of the Annunaki, his squares flickered very quickly, changing sight modes over and over within a single second before disregarding the object of worship for the sight of his commander, Gilgamesh. His arm did not make a move for a moment as he simply stared at the half-god, slowly twisting his neck a few inches to peer down at the out reaching palm that was his ordinance.

A second past and the words between the giant Elohim and the hybrid started to be exchanged in a trade of thought before the weaponry was finally wrapped in the fleshly display that were the five sets of tiny limbs known as fingers. His knuckles poked out as he held the construction in his palm and simply let the scope withdraw back into the shell of his skull while his hood was on, slowly doing the same with his arms and his gun, withdrawing them. Into the veil of his sacred robe before sitting up on his knees and then forcing his legs to let out a tiny twitch of gears as they moved his entire body into a standing position on there own. Amebra faced the direction of the former goddess for a moment when utterly concealed by his large cloak which waved just briefly in the air, being tugged in the opposite direction weakly for a moment, leaving only the sounds of the two voices in the background and a tiny whisper from the wind on the hidden, metallic ears of the automata.

A moment past, maybe a second or two, perhaps even enough to be considered starring into the abyss before the sacred equipment finally redirected is vision to the two behind him and slowly guided his feet which hadn't made a single sound as he walked towards them, looking like an old man when hidden from sight with his robe and his gun, used as if it was a walking stick. Amebra wandered to them, saying in an artificial voice and if possible, one filled with a sense of absense to it "The goddess has assigned us to a task" He paused for a moment and tilted his head with a fake "click" as if two metal items collided when looking at the Elohim, clearly inspecting the giant before looking back at his leader with a straight spine once more "Seth...is our target..a singular unit..?" He asked somewhat interested. Maybe his mind just flickered on when assassination where mentioned but his scope seem much more fluent, as if it was twisting now but such an event was hard to depict when it was barely viewable when hiding in his hood.

"The goddess has assigned us to a task. Seth...is our target..a singular unit..?"

Gilgamesh turned to the automata as he approached, nodding.
"Aye." He said. "As powerful a warrior as any human can be." He gazed up at the sky for a moment, then looked at his men once more. "You better go and prepare. We leave soon. We'll be taking a sidetrip before we head north. There's a mine to the north-west, where many humans are working. Most of them are slaves." He admitted, continuing: "The Nine will not be able to crush Seth on their own. We must raise an army, and I can think of no better place to look than there."

He turned as if to leave, but then stopped and looked at the automata.
"Even an automata has a free will. Do not ever offer the execution of me or my men to our gods in my presence again as you did before. If I cannot trust your judgment, then I have no room for you within the Nine, automata or no. Remember that." He turned around and left for the village, his cape fluttering in the wind as he did.

He returned to the building where the Nine had spent their nights. Several other members were also preparing to leave by packing. Gilgamesh did the same. He sent word for a human servant to prepare their horses, and then began to pack what little clothes and personal effects he had, into a leather bag. Then, at noon, he, along with others, walked out to the horses gathered outside. His own horse, a white stallion with intelligent brown eyes, carrying a beautifully decorated saddle, was trampling eagerly. Gilgamesh placed his effects in the saddle, and then mounted the horse.

"Heroes of the Nine!" He called out. "We ride for Nihal to raise an army! Then we ride for the land of Assur! The Assurians will know and fear the Nine and the Empire we serve!"

Soon, the Nine rode out of the tiny village, a small group of horses surrounded by a vast golden desert that seemed endless in its outstretched greatness.

He admitted, continuing: "The Nine will not be able to crush Seth on their own. We must raise an army, and I can think of no better place to look than there."

Odin nodded unhesitatingly, understanding the situation more clearly. Venturing away from Gilgamesh, even as he was berating the automata for its actions. The Elohim soon found himself at the barracks, but realized most if not all his belongings had be destroyed as they were sacrilege to the Annunaki Gods. Turning back around he ventured to the eastern shoreline, taking his sword with him. Finding himself a quiet reserve on the bank Odin placed his sword off to the side for now. He then drew a fairly large circle for an inner perimeter, inside he drew three 'corner' semi-circles; two top and one bottom. Then, with mathematical precision he drew several intricate lines that formed a heptagon with a seemingly inverted triangle. At three points; top and both sides of the triangle he had three circles which he had drawn strange alchemical symbols. When he finished with drawing the last outer circle, he had, in fact, created a human transmutation circle with all the alchemical symbolism that were the ingredients in his own flesh and blood body.

He plunged his sword into the depths of the circle and knelt swiftly, upholding his left hand with his thumb and forefingers fully straightened and directing towards the sky and his thumb to himself. He was worshiping his own beliefs. That everything, even Gods, die and return to the planet in due time. For as the sun sails on the winds and passes into darkness so shall his corporal body pass into its twilight. He wasn't worship for fear of death, but jubilation at the Sky Fathers and Earth Mother's fateful decisions to make him part of a movement that could help bring change and hopefully peace.

Standing once more, he gripped the sword by the hilt in a back-handed manner and removed it from its earthen tomb. He would have to march with the infantry, as there was no steed capable of carrying his bulky form. This didn't bother him. He liked horses, he liked all manner of creatures even those that would devour him if given a chance. Quite frankly, he thought it would seem unbecoming as it would look to ridiculous, this way he could march at the end of the platoon and watch from the rear if there was an ambush of any kind.

Amebra only let the the abyss of his hood shimmer and shiver over his flesh, not moving his neck to allow the light to shine on his skin as he stood before the commander, Gilgamesh. A small moment stepped in when his breath stopped as he absorbed all the verbal details given to him about the human: Seth as they called him and slowly nodded his head just a mila metre or two before keeping it still once more as the half god begun to alternate his body's direction. Amebra only let out a twitch as if to turn that scope in his skull about before suddenly getting a quick "bzzt" when retracting it at the quickest pace to it default position as the captain started to let out a number of words to scold him. A second past and the machine only stood straight in his position, holding his gun once more like a staff, placing the handle against the sand and slowly twisting it in the terrain when the warlord walked away. A tension arose once more in his frame as standed attention to the air, that breath came back and after having withdraw a supply of wind started to lift his feet in a slow but steady speed after the commander when going to the direction of the previous lodging. The machine's neck tilted slightly and forced the veiled eyes to peer at the floor as he headed to the desired area, the wind only seem to fill in for the silence as it brushed among the wrinkles of his cloak and swirl in the passage ways between his hoods inner workings and the artificial life forms flesh, for a moment, good enough to eat a minute: the whispers of the air took hold of the lack of words and acted as a orchestra for his budding thoughts. The heat was the only thing greeting the machine and yet such senses where of little importance to one such as Amebra, even if such things where to bring sensation to a being like an old Automatas such as Amebra it would do little good, for his mind had swallowed his focus and his concentration was one directed on the swirling theories and thoughts that slipped about like a python in the maze of his mind, one who had lived beyond any lower creature and designed for a fate like his had so many things to recall and the fact that such time and past information was resurfacing once more in his skull was apparent by the sheer sense of strength in the air, welding enough tension to strangle a Rhino.

Opening personal Log

Mission: Viom. Interaction with local inhabitant

I don't think you're weird

You don't?

I think you're interesting...what are doing here in the woods, when theres a village just down the hill? My dad would love to see you, he likes machines

I'm here because...I'm going to kill you're dad...and you're friends...their dads and moms too

why would you do that?....P-please...don't

..........I'm sorry....

A moment past as the mechanical man stared at the direction his various member where heading, seeing them in the distance as he started to slow down even more, he froze, remaining still for a moment before a small flicker of lights appeared in the darkness of his hood, remaining shaded after a brief glimpse of skin from the glow of his square shaped flashes from his other eyes, a second drifted out of the time he stood there before a simple but electronic "I'm sorry.." Bled from his masked lips, nothing followed, no shivers, no tears and no sign of stopping after that whisper to himself as he started to walk in a much more slow and carless speed before simply stopping, the servant stood there for a while, looking down and eyeing the sand as more memories re-enter his mind, much time was with him swimming in his previous events and past actions. Amebra, did not move at his efficient pace, he did not think of the mission as he would normally do and nor did he show any sign of hastening himself to catch anything that his commander may of said to the group, in fact for once the automatas was late, very late in fact as he only just cached the group heading to their stables. The machine simply tagged along with the group, remaining however a few steps behind the rest of them, simply staring at all the members as he tailed the lot to each of their horses before slowly getting on his own, quietly pulling himself onto a four legged animal cloaked completely apart from it's eyes in a light yellow clothe. The horses eyes where a brazen and strong mixture of brown and blue, making a lifeless gray pool for his irises to sit in before galloping off with his commander.

Re: [OOC] The Annunaki War

Goodday, everyone.

I just wanted ot inform that I have psoted. I was rather tired and woozy when I wrote this so I apologize if there arem sitakes Ih ave missed.

Re: [OOC] The Annunaki War

No, these automatas are rogue ones, true, so its likely they'll shoot on sight, even Amebra, since theyll automatically assume hes loyal to the Annunaki. Theyve basically gone totally start raving mad and bloodthirsty, deserted from the Annunaki, and are now indulging in mindless slaughtering of humans for their own pleasure. XD

Re: [OOC] The Annunaki War

Actually, I have to ask. Would Amebra simply approach the solders as they are fellow Automatas and talk to them, most likely requesting mission data. Hes also a very high ranking Automata so theres a chance he could simply order them to let the troops past as a part of important mission. Unless they are rogue.

But even then he would require mission data to see if they have actually gone rogue. If I interact with them can I have access to control of the Automats or?

Re: [OOC] The Annunaki War

No problem, dude. Im not exactly the most regular poster myself either right now. My computer just died horribly, forcing me to reinstall Windows, and now its not working as it should, so it might take some time before I can post again. Hopefully, I can post when I get back to the Army after my leave, though.

Re: [OOC] The Annunaki War

I apologise for my extreme tardyness in posting my emote but I have been somewhat occupied by mutiple things lately. I will try my best to have my post up by tonight or tomorrow.

I am sorry for sheer intensity of latness on my part, I understand if my excuse is of no comfort for my appauling lack of punctuality.

Re: [OOC] The Annunaki War

Sorry, boys. Not exactly high quality posting, but I wanted to give you something to do while I'll be away for the coming week or eight days or so on our final exercise in bootcamp. Until it's over I won't have access to any computers, as we'll be camped in the darkest swampy heart of Sweden. Blegh. Cya after that. :D

Re: [OOC] The Annunaki War

Yeah! No more excuses! D:<

On that note, those were fun days. ;)

Re: [OOC] The Annunaki War

Quick comment as I'm lacking in time, guys. Sorry for not having replied as I planned to. My schedule was messed up by lots of evening duty, and to boot, the day I had scheduled for roleplaying (friday), we were woken up at 02:30 in the morning by screaming officers, and sent out on empty stomachs to march for 19 hours. It was pretty fun. ;)

So, excuses aside, I'll make a post soon, in one of the next few days, I promise.

Re: [OOC] The Annunaki War

Hmm, do you two mind answering a question for me.

You see, I started a Role Play a whiel back it did not recieve one reply of interest, it was called Tream: Lies in a Truth.

I personally thought ir was ok but clearly people disagree, would you mind telling me what you think is wrong with it?

Re: [OOC] The Annunaki War

Good day everyone. Just want to inform that I have posted, again I apologize for the horrible amount of time but as I said before I have been held up. The post is not that great but it should allow us to move forward at least.

Re: [OOC] The Annunaki War

Don't worry about it, my man! I'm struggling to keep roleplaying myself as well, right now. There's a lot happening in life, bootcamp being the most obstructive, but I'm going to try and get back to posting here soon. If nothing else, I've only got another six weeks or so in bootcamp. Hopefully after that, I'm heading for the Navy, and hopefully, that means a bit more free time.

Even so I should be able to get back to roleplaying before that happens. ;)

Re: [OOC] The Annunaki War

FIrst, let me apologize for my extreme level of rudness that I have dispalyed over this week with my absence. I am afraid all I can supply is a shamful bow of the head and written plea of forgivness for the damage I may have done to the role play. I was and still am working on a picture that has rather literally taken me hours upon hours and for the most part exthausted any creative metnal strength I had to post in this role play.

I have not abandoned this acivity and if we are all still willing to post, I will try my absolute hardest to place my segment of the story between my colouring in of the image.

Re: [OOC] The Annunaki War

I apologize for my silent act for a while, but I have been working on my first Role Play where I am the GM. If you interested in looking it up, I have just posted it in the interest check section. I have also been directing a lot of creative enegry into a drawing project lately and so once again I am sorry for the delay in response.

I will try to post a emote tomorrow if possible. Oh.

I am getting a suit tomorrow, lucky for me the store is closing down, some items have been cut more than half of their value and this is a very classy store. At least to a middle class person like me.

Re: [OOC] The Annunaki War

I understand how hard bootcamp can be. I was in the ROTC after all, a program for training officers of the military. Was training for 2nd LT and a Ranger position-Rangers lead the way! ;) But, Its good to hear that you are doing well.

Re: [OOC] The Annunaki War

Thanks, guys. Not my most well-written post, but I s'pose it'll have to do. The time during leave just never seem to be enough.

Seraph, I'm doing pretty well, but you know, bootcamp's always exhausting. XD From the looks of it, though, I might be taking a different careeer path than I expected, and be transferred to the Navy to work onboard a ship, as a sailor, after I'm done in bootcamp. At my own request, I might add. So, I suppose we'll see where I end up in the end. At the very least, by then I'll have more free time. ;)

Re: [OOC] The Annunaki War

Hope you're okay Loxley.

Re: [OOC] The Annunaki War

It is ok, Loxley. I have good faith in you're determination to reply to us.

Re: [OOC] The Annunaki War

Sorry it's taking so long for me to reply, guys. The Army has been harsh with our free evenings this week, and I feel I should give the post the time it deserves rather than rush it on the short periods of leave that I have on the evenings. I'll be going home again this weekend, though, so I promise you I'll have a post up by then. :D

Re: [OOC] The Annunaki War

It ok, Loxely. I'll post again even it takes a while for it a start moving again. I am interested to see where we are gonig to next anyway.

Re: [OOC] The Annunaki War

I need to apologize, guys. I'm on leave right now, but I'm suffering from somewhat of a writer's block. I can't seem to get a post out right. I have a few evenings off during the week, so I'm going to post-pone posting until then. It should be up either monday or wednesday, and then we'll kick this roleplay back into action. :D
