Introduction
Their basement is full of monstrosities and evil creatures...
The Windsors bought their home when their first child was born. His name was Timothy. The house seemed normal. They bought it. At night, they heard terrible noises and awful voices saying awful things. Slamming and whispering plagued the home for days. Thats when they discovered a door that had not been there when they first bought the house. Opening it, they discovered it to be a massive basement. It was fully furnished with wall to wall rugs, working bathrooms, and furniture. It was like a normal floor. Exploring more, they realized that there were more doors leading further down into the basement. On the second basement floor, they found something horrible.
A human corpse screaming in pain in the bathtub.
The Windsors vowed never to go into the basement again, and barricaded the door. As neighbours grew to be their friends, they realized having a boarded up basement door would seem suspicious, so they simply locked it, as they had soon realized that even if the door was left open, the terible things would not come into the home without visible human prey.
Time passed, and it became normal. They had two other children, a girl named Kate and finally a baby boy named Jacob. They always taught their children never to go into the basement. They never told them why, except for Timothy, who was turning 16 at the time. Timothy had grown up listening to the haunted whispers. Everynight they talked through his vent. Sometimes if he looked down the vent, they would look back at him. They would tell him horrible things. Telling him to murder his parents, or to send the family dog into the basement. He found himself sleep walking sometimes, even sometimes standing in the basement. Even worse, he would sometimes think about doing the things they told him. One time, he dropped his pet hamster down a vent. He would sometimes open the door for them, and look down the dark stairs for the creatures.
Things slowly escalated, until one horrific night, when Timothy was 17, he led his brother into the basement.
He brought his brother down to the third floor, and told him to play hide and seek. Timothy left, and it was something else that found Jacob.
When his parents got home, and learned about what had happend there, they were driven to insanity. Taking Kate, they fled the home, leaving Timothy. Timothy continued to live in the home for three more years, even finishing highschool. For some strange reason, nobody ever sent the house mail, or knocked on the door. It was if the government had forgotten about the home, ignoring any electric or water bills the house incurred. Timothy would often sleep in the basement, or talk to his dead brother. It seemed he was a friend of the monsters, until he decided to go past the fourth floor. When the creatures who were his friends turned thier hunger onto him, he snapped out of the 20 year daze, and realized that he needed to destroy the beasts.
Tricking 5 neighbours his age, he would descend into the basement with them, locking the door behind them forever.

You are one of those people.
ONLY THREE SLOTS LEFT.
I will be Timothy Windsor, you are a neighbour of your design. The roleplay begins at a local community center where young adults meet and hang out.
The basement is not a concrete old basement, its fully furnished, with paintings and televisions and phones, there are bathrooms, and lights that can be turned on and off, both by you and the monsters. Monsters are all different. There can be many different types, they are all individuals. Along with the monsters, strange things happen in the basement. Wallpaper may change colours, furniture may move around. Rooms may shift around. Things may turn off and on at will. The nature of the basement means that you can describe the room you are in, or the creature you are facing at the time. You must run and hide. Once you create the monster you are running from, you can either end the encounter on your own, or ask me in the OOC to act out the monster. so it can be a surprise. There are many floors, all lit by lights, and sometimes completely dark. You have nothing but the clothes on your back.

Rules
-Romance is allowed, but keep it to a kiss. Then if you feel the necessity, take it to PM. The locale isn't really romantic though, so I don't think it really fits in.
-Swearing and violence are a part of any horror movie or suspenseful thriller. Don't worry about disturbing or vulgar descriptions
-Things are everchanging, so don't worry about how you describe a monster or room.
-No plot twists. If you want to introduce one, PM me, so that it can be a secret and a surprise to everyone :D
-Run and hide. You're prey here.
-No escape. Just like no plot twist.
-You aren't a Windsor. I will play Tim and any NPC's. And I mean every NPC. If you call someone on a basement phone, I will be the person on the other end. Same with tvs and radios.
-Grammar and spelling are important. Typos are understandable, obviously
-I might kill off your character if you decide to break any of these rules. I'm not going to be a dick, if it's a small breach, who cares? But if you and your cyber lover start banging on a couch for several back and forth posts, I'm probably going to get something to viciously murder you.

First off, I'll reserve the spots, by changing 5 to 4 and so on.
Second, I haven't actually seen that movie. Just as I was making this, everytime I used to words creatures, I paused and thought that it did kind of sounds like Don't Be Afraid of the Dark. This is actually based off this wierd dream I had last night. Basically, it started as a hockey game, and then randomly it kind of changed into a wierd house, and this person led me into the basement with a couple other random people. She said be really quiet and to hurry, which was wierd because I didn't know what we were doing. Then as I was trying to go back upstairs, I seen this wierd messed up guy on all fours, and he chased us and I hid behind a shower curtain. Wierd, considering I wasn't actually that scared.
I just thought the way the basement wasn't a typical basement was cool. Usually in horror movies, its made of rock and concrete and it's dark. I thought it would be freakier in something that looks like your living room.
I don't have a skelly, so just fill in the form. You should probably state your fears, because that'll help. Anime's fine, I'm not a big fan of it, but I don't see why you couldn't use it.
Also, come to think of it, Stephen King's short story about that hotel room served as a huge influence, as it gave me a cool idea about what happens when you use a phone or a television in the basement. I forget what the story was called, but I think it got adapted to be a movie.
Re: [OOC] The Basement
