Personality

Nathaniel is a calm man, he hardly ever displays anger as he tries to fit in with this human world. He does not argue but listens in seemingly contented silence to his opponent before answering logically and calmly. Inside however he is often conflicted, he has wanted to argue and lash out many times but always forced himself down. If it were not for his blood drinking anyone would think him human from the way he controls his temper. Few compliments come from him, and he hardly ever smiles or laughs. He is not a man who broods over his past, and he does not need help with it. He simply finds himself unwilling to grow close to people, and refuses to examine the reason why. He may have room in his heart for one, but does not show it. He does, despite much debate amongst others, have a sense of humour although sometimes its hard to tell if he’s joking. Although he can be softened, if someone cared enough to try. He resents the old ways as even though he is a blue blood they once drove him to madness and he refuses to fall back to darkness.

Equipment

He has on his person a few tapes and a dictaphone the tapes are full, and Nathaniel hasn't listened to them since they came into his possession, their contents could drive him over the edge but without the he is lost.

History

Nathaniel’s life has been too long and eventful to be written down, although if he were to write it he would leave it bland and without detail, so this is how his biography will be written. If you were to meet him 100 or so years ago he would not be the same person, in fact he even went by a different name, one that people may have heard of and he does not disclose. His old name shows his old self and to be his old self would destroy him because of the memories and hate that it would bring. He was a child once, an ignorant and childish man with a great love that was his world, he and his love were turned and lived a hundred years together, however they could not display their love in public, to do so would be to break a taboo that we still live by today. He does not think of this love, this part of his life is merely empty to him now.

Less than a hundred years ago he became a monster. It was the betrayal of a human he trusted that killed his love and gave way to this monster. He killed many out of revenge. Again this is something that all who know about associate with a different name and a different man. Nathaniel was broken by this great evil, and spent many years wandering alone and weaning himself off of the blood of living humans, he refuses to kill them, he refuses to be violent, the loss of his love has damaged him deeply and he will kill no more.
