Age: 11

Appearance: Jane is small for her age and extremely skinny. She isn't very athletic, but will engage in physical activity willingly enough. She has long arms and legs and is very slight at the shoulders, which certain shirts have a habit of falling off of. She is young in the face, with deep brown almond eyes that manage to be bright despite their dark color. Her hair is black and cut short at the level of her chin. Her appearance is distinctly Chinese.

Personality

Jane is a fairly upbeat girl, and she tends to be happy if left to her own devices. She isn't very deep at this point at her life, as she still is retaining most of her childish innocence, and tends to only see the good in people. That being so, she has a rather one-sided view of things -- luckily, that point of view is an optimistic one. She fancies herself to be a physicist someday, though she knows very little about it. She often repeats the phrases, "hot air rises," and "cold air sinks," and tries to apply them to each and every situation she can.

Equipment

She has three outfits in her suitcase, along with three pairs of underwear and a few long stockings. She has another pair of shoes that are rather dressy for everyday wear, but are comfortable enough. Besides her clothes, she has pink hair clip and a red, silk handkerchief with a crane embroidered on it. She also has a black and white picture of her family, including her father and herself when she was a baby.

History

Jane was born in China, but moved away before she was old enough to remember living there. She grew up without a father, whom her mother will not talk about. Jane is her English name, and her surname is from her late father.
