Introduction
C-Energy Is the source of all life, all thought, all magic. The High Elves have built a civilization based on abusing C-Energy. Now C-Energy has escaped its confines and horrifying mutants and undead now walk the land preying on the the innocent and the weak.
The time to shape the destiny of the world has come. Are you going to save Khanlor or hurl it into the fiery abyss?
Player Races:
Seraphim:(female only) These Angelic guardians were once the holders of C-Energy. They entrusted it to the high elves so they could rejoin the Creator. Now they have returned to deal with C-Energy monsters that the high elves abuses have created.
Originate from the Seraphim isles. They use holy magics and are extremely powerful against Undead and lesser servants of the Inquisition. Masters of swords and bladed weapons. Poor with ranged weapons.
Elf: Standard Fantasy race divided into two groups (high elves, and wood elves).
Wood Elves come from the Itherian Forest and prefer to avoid the use of C-Energy. Very little magic (nature related only). Make excellent archers, but poor front-line fighters. No knowledge of C-Energy weapons.
High Elves come from the Calrin Empire. Very powerful spell-casters. Lacking in weapons skills (shadow warriors). Good with C-Energy devices.
Human: You should be living and breathing the human existence. Humans live in a medieval society.
Originate from the kingdom of Hur. They have no great streaghts or weaknesses and can become proficient in any thing. (can only master one skill)
Temple Guardian: Once part of the Great Machine these cybernetic warriors are few in number. These beings are powered by C-Energy, and their left arm ends in a C-Energy blaster.
Now Temple Guardians come from the Temple Ruins. Masters of C-Energy devices, cannot use bows, crossbows or two handed weapons. Good swordsman and unarmed fighters (due to right wrist combat blades). No magic but May use raw C-Energy (pm me what what you use C-Energy to do).
Shadow Warrior:(male only) Once great champions of men brought back to fight for the high elves. The process involves the use of C-Energy and drags the soul of the warrior back from the underworld.
Originate from the Fields of Heroes. They can us shadow magics and and can become masters of illusions. Masters of two handed weapons. Good with C-Energy weapons. Poor archers and spell casters
Forces of Darkness:
Order of the Inquisition: The Dark heart of the High Elves church. They seem to have a large stockpile of C-Energy weapons. The lower file tend to master two weapon fighting. They seek to gain total control of C-Energy.
Undead Legion: These skeletal warriors were reanimated by exposure to C-Energy. There purpose is unknown and they seam to be lead by Liches (Powerful undead mages) each with its own goals.
Kolbolds:These small ugly gnome like creatures. They are a recent development in Khanlor but their numbers seam to be on the rise. Their weapons tend to be crude, but their shamans magic is very powerful. They only seam to be interested in waylaying travelers but could they have a darker purpose.....
C-Energy Creatures:These beings were once a member of the many races of Khanlor. Now they are twisted monsters seeking only to cause destruction and pain. (some C-Energy weapons and Temple Guardian uses of C-Energy can transform beings into these)
Weapons:
Most are standard Fantasy weapons, if you want to start with a really powerful weapon pm me its powers and qualities. (this is for approval purposes)
C-Energy weapons looks like energy weapons (star wars blasters, light-sabers, and other sci-fi energy weapons) very powerful but have healing effect on C-Energy Creatures.
Rules:
1. No being a god.
2. Romance is ok but keep it PG-13 or less (anything else take it to pm)
3.Only I (CoordinatorKurita) will bring the forces of Darkness Into play
4. It is ok to let the monsters hurt you. (I wont kill you unless you agree to it. Also there are resection monoliths so permanent death only occurs to people who want to write up a new character)
5. One character for every one. (only exception is me as i will be controlling the forces of darkness as well)

OOC Notes
Ferris awakened the world coming into focus as his systems rebooted. As his motor systems activate he leaves the alcove in which he had been secreted during the High-Elves assault on the Temple. As he approaches the center of the room he notices that the Great Machine is missing. Suddenly a hologram of another Temple Guardian appears. "Unit-000134 has reactivated, Ferris your mission is to affect the destiny of the world." "Acknowledged," Ferris replies. The Hologram deactivates. Then Ferris begins to move toward the exit of the Temple.
OOC Notes
It was dark when Lorelei reached the Temple. Her ivory skin and golden highlights in her long wavy hair reflected under the pale moonlight while her black attire was camouflaged by the night. Dark grey eyes stared at their aim, quickly walking to the entrance of the ruins.
It was not something the Seraphim was pleased to see, but she had plenty of time to accommodate to the view as she flew there. It was worst than what she had word of. So many years had she fought and worked to make the world a peaceful and secure place. To her, it was just a matter of time until everything would fall apart. That's what she despised; That although she had dedicated most of her life to this, it would still be in vain in the end. The constant fighting was tiring. Now she witnessed their failure. For a moment she stopped, sighing as all these thoughts took hold of her. She was way too emotional to her liking. Many memories from here were held in her mind; Each very intense and troubling, either at the time it happened or in contrast to now.
The guardian had flown from her duties for many reasons, but coming back after a long but temporary rest was more painful after all. There were things she acknowledged that she would never forget or make peace with. She was sent here against her will, but she had to make her part and serve just as each of her kind did. After spending many years doing almost nothing, she had used more than all the free time that she was allowed.
Low and sounding noises suddenly erupted from the Temple while Lorelei was nearing the building. She averted quickly to the side and pressed herself against the large rocks that used to enclose the room. Unsheathing her sword quietly, she carefully listened to the sounds that paced towards her. If anything went wrong, and it did, anyone and everyone was to blame. It was already a surprise to see that she was the only one here; Let alone guess who was called here and why. No other Seraphim was sent when she left. The remaining sane High Elves would have expected and greeted her. No human would be wandering here alone. She doubted a lone Shadow Warrior would be here by himself as they needed C-Energy to be revived. There might be Temple Guardians left in the ruins, but would any of them be filled with enough C-Energy to work? She hoped so, because she wasn't yet ready to face any other creature. We should have kept the essence of life, these earthly beings were not ready for such a task... she thought for herself, regretting the elders decisions that had left such a precious resource and an important danger in the hands of such vile and futile nations.
"We're all to blame..." she repeated in a low voice as her eyes resigned from staring at the ground to watch the entrance. Lorelei felt as if she could faintly hear engines purr and gears mechanisms clang together, but she held her long sword in one hand just in case, its sharp end resting on the ground while she waited for the creature to show itself.

Ferris heads to the Guardians Armory. On the way there he passes a few more deactivated Temple Guardians, none of which he believes still function. At the Armory he retrieves a longsword and mace which he attaches to his waist equipment slots. Now I have proper equipment to survive outside the Temple, he thinks. Ferris heads to the entrance. As he arrives he notices a small group of Kobolds have begun tinkering with a Cleaner. He tries to pass by them, however they notice the sounds of his movement and begin to throw stones.
Ferris notes that the stones just bounce off his armor. He proceeds to the out of the entrance and notices that the Kobolds have changed tactics. Now they are running at him carrying long knives which in their hands function as short swords. "Threat identified, targeting hostile forces, engaging," He says. He aims his left hand toward the fifteen rushing creatures and opens fire. He manages to kill five of the wretched creatures before the others reach him. Ferris begins backing up as he fights them to prevent them from surrounding him. He draws the longsword and drives forward running one Kolbold through on his blade.
Ferris notes that the stones just bounce off his armor. He proceeds to the out of the entrance and notices that the Kobolds have changed tactics. OOC Notes
Hearing the commotion nearby, Lorelei made a few steps closer as she saw a Temple Guardian attacked by small despicable and seemingly annoying creatures. They ran towards the machine, poking him with their short blades before he struck back. The angelic guardian neared the end of the group and swung her sword forward, sending the little monsters in the air and cutting their flesh deep. The small beasts crippled on the ground, slowly dying of their mortal wounds. Dark liquid filled the floor and infiltrated the cavities between the rocks that formed the path to the Temple. They started cracking and rotting while light smoke rose from the ground.
But the pale beauty paid no attention to it as she gave violent keen blows to the remaining kobolds. Turning her head to see where a low grumbling but continuous sound came from, the Seraphim noticed one of them was hiding and calling for greater forces. She paced towards it to stop its incantation, but an animated totem made of rock suddenly emerged from under the caster. Lorelei swept the dust on the ground as her large wings extended and elevated her towards the sky. Hitting the rock golem with her sword didn't seem to hurt him much, and she doubted her pure magics would do something either. She couldn't get closer to the shaman that was protected by the large arms of the golem, trying to stun Lorelei in her flight while she carefully dodged his attacks.

Ferris notices the entrance of the Seraphim. Together the two of them make short work of the Kolbolds. Unfortunately they don't notice the Kolbold's shaman in time to stop it from summoning the Stone Golem. Ferris quickly analyzes the situation. "New threat detected, classification: Artificial construct. Composition: Stone, Threat level: high." Before acting he examines the shaman next. He identifies that the shaman is keeping the golem active. Speaking to the Seraphim, "Seraphim, keep the construct distracted. I will terminate the caster."
He braces his feet on the ground, and turns to face the caster and golem. He aims his left hand at the pair and it begins to reconfigure. "Charging C-Energy capacitors. Identifying target, aiming." the emitter on his left hand glows with the distinctive blue glow of C-energy. "Firing." The blue light leaps from his hand in a powerful beam. When the light strikes the golem it cleaves through its arm and slams into the shaman. The Kolbold screeches as it burst into blue flame. "Target neutralized," Ferris says. He then begins to scan the area.
