This is a roleplay based off of the show on MTV called "The Challenge." This is a competition game show where past castmembers of "The Real World" compete against each other for money until there is one man or team standing to win all the money. Though this is based on the show, it is an original title and premise and I have made up every challenge myself, some with inspiration from past seasons.
You are probably thinking that this will be stupid because if you are voted out the first round than you barely get to post. To avoid this problem, PLEASE make two or more characters. One will be used as a quick elimination in the first couple weeks so everyone will get to post for a while until theres only the last five.
Location
The location for this season is in the woods of Southern New Zealand. It sits at the end of the woods, overlooking a small lake and mountains behind. The house has four rooms, each with five beds(2 bunk and one single in each). There is also an indoor swimming pool and spa. A large deck in the back, overlooking the lake with an outdoor fireplace.
Gameplay and Rules
So this season is called The Challenge: Rush. There will be twenty contestants, ten girls and ten guys. At the beginning, they will be dropped off a mile away from the stands where they pick teams. They must race to the finish line and the first person there gets to pick their partner of the opposite sex. The second place, third, fourth and so on. There will be ten teams by the end. Then they will head to their house.
The Reward Challenge
This is what begins each challenge day. All contestants will compete in a single challenge that is either based on the best time, or the most amount of tokens that could be anything, for example however many basketsballs are made in the hoop. The winning team of this challenge are the ones that get to choose the first team that goes into elimination.
The Voting Ceremony
Once the reward challenge is over, like said above, the winning team chooses the one team they wish to go into the survival challenge. Then, the team that was sent in gets to choose who they compete against. These two teams will compete against each other to stay in the challenge and fight another week.
The Survival Challenge
This challenge will be unlike most survival challenges. Each elimination challenge will take tons of endurance. Each challenge will be the length of three miles. They will be racing to the finish line, and could be kayaking, running or even climbing. It changes every time, but the challengers will need strength and ecspecially endurance. No team wins unless both are across the finish line.
The Final Challenge
This is the final challenge where the final three teams will race over ten miles on all terrain to win the final prize of $400,000. Second place will win fifty thousand, and third wins nothing. This challenge has the most prize money ever in the three seasons.
Rules
Anything goes as for the challenges. Hit, kick, trip, whatever it takes to win as long as you follow ALL rules of the challenge. If you fail to listen to the rules or to complete the challenge, you will automatically be disqualified from the challenge and hurt your chances of winning.
Posting
If you were not part of any of the Real Worlds or Challenges, than read over this to know the way we post. Since this is supposed to be a reality roleplay we post a little different. To make it seem more like a reality show we put narrations of what is going on, or what someone is feeling at the time, like in a reality show. So, whenever your character is going to narrate something going on just skip a line and make a narration like your character is speaking to the reader. Put this in bold.

Bob and Jill ran down the hill, but as they made their way down, Jill tripped over a rock.

OOC Notes
"My name is A.J. and I'm from Real World: Seattle. This is my first challenge, but that doesn't matter, I'm going to win this."
A.J. hopped out of the van and looked at where they were dropped off. They were in a large feild with grass up to his shins. Around the feild, he could see more hills and then small mountains in the background. He was in New Zealand, and it was the fall. It was a bit cold here, and he was happy that he was wearing a hoodie, like he usually did. Anyone who saw his season would know that that was all he wore almost.
He looked around at the group, hoping someone else from his season would be here, so he could make an alliance. As long as it wasn't a guy from it. None of them completely liked him. There was no house in front of them, and he was hoping for dear life that they'd actually have one this season. Derrick stood ahead of them, ready to announce what they would be doing.
Claire hopped out of the same van and joined in the large group that was forming. She was ready for this.
"I've been training for the past year, since I didn't do too well last Challenge I was on. I'm gonna win the money this time hopefully for me and Alex. We're engaged. No big deal," she said smiling and winking at the camera.
Matt also came out and awaited for the announcement from Derrick. He had made sure that this time they'd have a house, because in the Jungle, they had little shelters, and it was the worst time he ever had even though he did pretty well.
"I just hope Jackson isn't here. I hate that guy."
"Welcome challengers, to the Challenge: Rush!" began Derrick once everyone came out. "As you can see, we aren't at the house yet. This is because we need teams. All will be explained later, all you need to know now is that you will have an advantage in team picking based on your time. You all must run for a mile to the stands where we will pick teams. Understand?" he asked, waiting for nodding. "Ready? Go!" He sounded the horn as a start for them to begin running to the finish line.

OOC Notes
Angel had butterflyes in her stomach. First-this was the first time she travelled outside America and second- the first time shen went on a challenge that required physical skills. Obsering the view she ties her hair into a bun.
"Hello. I'm Angel, I'm scared, but anxious. I don't know if I can win this, but I sure as hell want to."
In the car with her was another competitor Dylan. He was tall, lean and very well build. He kept a warm smile on his face.
"I'm Dylan. It's my second time in The Challenge, but this time it's different: I've trained harder, gotten stronger, and gonna play my way arround people's
minds"
As soon as the car came to a stop, both of them, stepped out of it. Dylan smiled at Derrick and looked at the other competitors. Both dylan and Angel listen carefully to the instructions and at the sound of go, they both strted runing.
Dylan kept a medium pace, knowing not to force himself until the final meters. Angel on the other hand, being a very good runner, but terrible at experince, run as fast as she could.

"I'm back bitches! And this time...I'm not sure what I'm gonna do. As long as I'm not getting targeted like last time," said Jackson.
Jackson hopped out of the van, and immediately saw Matt, over across, coming out of the other van. "Great," he said under his breath, not too excited to see this familiar face. He kept his distance, not wanting to start drama, and got ready for whatever Derrick had in store for the group. Charlie followed out, and moved over to stand next to Jackson, smiling. Even though he didn't want to come back, he was happy to be back. For some reason he liked these challenges, even if he had to deal with all the drama.
"Beleive it or not, me and Jackson are actually pretty close now. I know he can be a jerk, but I got his back this time around, and he has mine."
Addie walked out, looking out to the feild ahead of her. She was one of the few rookies here this year, but was ready. "I'm back and I'm having mixed emotions...I'm not sure how this years going to work out for me." Lola said wondering about who would be here from when she was playing the first time.
Lola was sharing a van with two others. One she recognized to be Nicholas, the other was someone new. She didn't look like she would cause any trouble so hopefully she wouldn't.
"Here is another year of misfortune for me..." Nicholas said solemnly.
Nicholas sat in the van so freezing that he couldn't read or talk, he probably wouldn't speak anyways though.
"Hi, it's me Emily, and I'm back. I can't wait to play this game with tons of new people to manipulate to my advantage" Emily said sweetly
Emily was the only one in the van. It was cold so she took out a sweater and put it on. She was really hoping that this year the place they were living in would be luxurious, because if she had to live in another shelter she was going to claw some eyes out. She was also hoping that Lola wouldn't be back this year because she hated her, and wouldn't be able to be nice to her which would totally ruin her reputation.
"Well this is going to be a boring time." Violet said
Violet got bored in the van so she decided to go to sleep until they got there.

Davis was in a van going to some destination to participate in a show called The Challenge: Rush, and he was extremely nervous...his hands were clammy and moist. Next to him, in the van was a woman and she seemed like she meant business...not someone who he wanted to mess with. 'I wonder how many other people are like her' Davis thought to himself. 'How will I ever be able to win this' he wonder worriedly. 'Maybe she's not so bad Davis...just try talking to her...' "Hi I'm Davi-" his voice cracked HIS VOICE CRACKED! Beads of sweat were rolling down his forehead even in the chilly weather. 'Relax Davis, she probably didn't even notice' Davis thought to himself. "I'm Davis" he said finally putting a hand out to shake.
"I blew that didn't I" Davis said with a long face.
Sophie was riding in a van with another guy for quite sometime in silence, which she was okay with because she was deep in thought about how she wanted this game to turn out. He was kind of cute but then the guy began speaking. In mid sentence his voice broke, Sophie was holding herself back from laughing a bit which she succeeded in doing. Then he acted as if nothing had happened and introduced himself. "I'm Sophie" she said shaking his hand it was bursting with sweat she pulled back and there was silence once again.
"Yuck!" Sophie screamed.
As soon as Derrick stopped explaining the rules they started running. Sophie was running as fast as she could determined to win while Davis was taking his time keeping his breath, scared of how this would turn out.
"I blew that didn't I" Davis said with a long face.

((Ok, I'm going to go ahead and post to move things along. Since this is a race, I think I'll just randomly make a list of winners so we don't get confused. Also, since they are pairs, we'll keep the abandoned characters and just pair them up with active ones. Oh and for the list, I might be changing some things to make it realistic.))
The challengers continued running, some people falling back, and others taking over easily. Finally, the first person broke through the finish line, and shortly after, the rest came in, out of breath, and ready to get this over with. The group was now at the stands where they would be picking their teams. This is the lineup:

"Well, I got sixth. At least I don't have last pick. I wanted Emily, because I know for sure she's good at these things, but I guess I won't get her. But who knows, right..." said AJ.
"So, Dylan, go ahead and pick your teammate," said Derrick. "Take it away."
"I didn't get last!" yelled Claire, doing a dance in front of the camera happily.

All of the teams were finally picked, and they were all partnered up. "Alright everyone," began Derrick. "Now that we're all partnered up, I can explain the rules. As you can see, we're doing a new format again for the challenge, this one is called The Challenge: Rush. Don't worry, you will be staying in an actual house this time. It'd be too cruel to make you all sleep outside in this weather."
"Thank god!" cried Matt. "I think I still have scars from all the bug bites I got in that disease infested rainforest!"
"Okay, so you are all partnered up, which means each reward challenge we have will be done as a team, with one winning partnership and the rest get nothing. What's in it for the winners? You get immunity from the elimination challenge, and you also get to choose the first couple that goes into the elimination round."

The group all left and headed to the house. Once they got there, they all got out and saw a huge cabin in the woods in front of them. It was beautiful with bright light shining through making it look warm and nice. Claire ran in right after she got out of the van. She dashed upstairs and quickly found the room she liked the best, and took the top bunk to one of the beds.
"Angel, we should sleep on the same bunk so we can communicate better as a team. I want to win this." He walked inside and took the bottom bunk of one of the beds.
Matthew took his time coming in and set his bags aside to look around the huge cabin. When he turned the corner he noticed a huge room with windows covering the walls. It was a indoor pool.
"No way, that is f**king awesome!" yelled Matt. "They owe us that for making us sleep on sticks and leaves last season."
"Thank god!" cried Matt. "I think I still have scars from all the bug bites I got in that disease infested rainforest!"
"Okay, so you are all partnered up, which means each reward challenge we have will be done as a team, with one winning partnership and the rest get nothing. What's in it for the winners? You get immunity from the elimination challenge, and you also get to choose the first couple that goes into the elimination round."

The group all left and headed to the house. Once they got there, they all got out and saw a huge cabin in the woods in front of them. It was beautiful with bright light shining through making it look warm and nice. Claire ran in right after she got out of the van. She dashed upstairs and quickly found the room she liked the best, and took the top bunk to one of the beds.
"Angel, we should sleep on the same bunk so we can communicate better as a team. I want to win this." He walked inside and took the bottom bunk of one of the beds.
Matthew took his time coming in and set his bags aside to look around the huge cabin. When he turned the corner he noticed a huge room with windows covering the walls. It was a indoor pool.
"No way, that is f**king awesome!" yelled Matt. "They owe us that for making us sleep on sticks and leaves last season."

Davis walked up and mumbled "Violet" while he was fumbling his thumbs. She did better then Nikole which was the only other choice, which is why he chose her.

Addie: She smiled over to Nick, feeling bad that he was the last guy chosen. To be honest, she would have picked him earlier if she could. He was smart, and it wasn't only the strength that got you through the challenge. There was logic involved. "Nick, come on over," she said and wrapped her arm around him. "We're gonna win this."

Sophie walked up. It was obvious who she was going to pick. That Nicholas would just slow down whoever got him, which would be Addie who she beat anyways. "Gerard, I choose you." Sophie said making proper game decisions.

AJ: He looked over all of the girls. Sadly, all of the girls that weren't in the top didn't seem to athletic. The only one he thought could do well was Angel, and since they were somewhat close from RW: Seattle, he decided to pick her. "Angel! Come on over here girl," he said smiling.

No order.but you can't write for more than one at a time. You have to wait till at least one other has chosen before your next character chooses. Cool?
