The Challenge: The Lagoon
This is a roleplay based off of the show on MTV called "The Challenge." This is a competition game show where past castmembers of "The Real World" compete against each other for money until there is one man or team standing to win all the money. Though this is based on the show, it is an original title and premise and I have made up every challenge myself, some with inspiration from past seasons. Also, this roleplay is somewhat a spin-off of a past roleplay called "The Real World: West Palm Beach, FL" which had cast members that will compete in this roleplay as well as new competetors.
You are probably thinking that this will be stupid because if you are voted out the first round than you barely get to post. To avoid this problem, PLEASE make two or more characters. One will be used as a quick elimination in the first couple weeks so everyone will get to post for a while until theres only the last five.
Location
The location of the house the competetors will stay in is in Australia near the Glenrock Lagoon. All challenges will take place in the lagoon or in the woods surrounding it. This is what the lagoon looked like.
Gameplay and Rules
It's going to be hard to get every little detail down so don't get angry if I remember a rule when you break one I forgot to put down.
The Reward Challenge
This is what begins each challenge day. All teams will compete in a single challenge that is either based on the best time, or the most amount of tokens that could be anything, for example however many basketsballs are made in the hoop. Many of the challenges will be taking place at the lagoon, and a few will be in the woods on the perimeter of the lagoon. There will be four teams of five competetors. Each reward challenge, there will be two teams that win immunity and the other two teams must move on the elimination round where competetors will be sent home.
The Voting Ceremony
Once the reward challenge is over and two teams have lost, they must decide on one girl and one male to send into the survival challenge. The result of the voting ceremony will be two girls and two guys, each from opposite teams that must compete for safety for the next week. This vote will be from all of the teams whether they won or lost. They will each vote for a girl from each team and a guy from each team.
The Survival Challenge
Once the voting is over, a girl and a guy from each of the two teams that lost the reward challenge will be sent back to the lagoon, without the rest of their team to compete for survival in the next round. The female competetor from one losing team will battle against the female from the second losing team for safety. This will be repeated for the two male competetors. Once these battles are over, two challengers WILL go home. It could even be the girl and the guy from the same team going home.
The Final Challenge
This is the final challenge that the final FIVE will compete against during. These five could all be from the same team, or they could all be from different ones, whatever happens, these five will compete against each other for the grand prize of $200,000. One will remain standing at the end.
Rules
Anything goes as for the challenges. Hit, kick, trip, whatever it takes to win as long as you follow ALL rules of the challenge. If you fail to listen to the rules or to complete the challenge, you will automatically be disqualified from the challenge and hurt your teams score.
Posting
If you were not part of "The Real World: West Palm Beach" than read over this to know the way we post. Since this is supposed to be a reality roleplay we post a little different. To make it seem more like a reality show we put narrations of what is going on, or what someone is feeling at the time, like in a reality show. So, whenever your character is going to narrate something going on just skip a line and make a narration like your character is speaking to the reader. Put this in bold.
Example
Bob and Jill ran down the hill, but as they made their way down, Jill tripped over a rock.
"So, Jill trips over this rock on the hill and busted her ankle," says Bob laughing.

Challenge Description
Called Leaping Stones(ya how original. give me a break on the names). Teams must jump from platform to platform which are suspended high above the lagoon. Each platform grows farther and farther away until you must jump seven feet to the final platform. All of the team must make it to the final platform, otherwise you must keep trying. Your time ends at 30 minutes. If incomplete by that time, your team is disqualified and automatically in elimination. (Go to OOC for more info and diagram)

OOC Notes
((In case anybody was unaware, we will start off on the night before the first challenge. This will be the first night when everyone arrives. We'll get in introductions and a few encounters and then we'll skip to the next morning. By the way, I'll be playing the host.))
Week One: Night Before First Challenge: 7:00 pm
Landon walked inside the large, stone mansion that was placed in the middle of the forest surrounding Glenrock Lagoon. Landon looked around at the large hall and wide living rooms, one to each side of the large main staircase. "Damn," he said as he looked around the house. It was the biggest house he had ever seen. In the middle of the hallway, on top of a round table was a large, wooden box with a stand-up sign on top of it saying The Challenge: The Lagoon in large letters. Under it it said, Take your assigned card inside the box to locate your room, where you and your team will be staying overnight.
Landon walked over to the table, opened the box and searched for his card. He found his finally, which had his picture on it and his name. It had a red background and said, RED TEAM and ROOM 2. He walked upstairs to find out where Room 2 was, to begin unpacking. Maybe some of his teammates would be up there.
As Landon opened the door to his room, he walked into a room, probably the size of his living room at home. It had three bunk beds, though one only had a top bunk, and under it there was a chair and lamp. So he had four others on his team. Hopefully they didn't suck at sports. He threw his bags on one of the lower bunks and sat down. Right after, a girl walked out of the bathroom and saw Landon. She made a small smile and looked him up and down as if she was sizing him up. "Uh, hey, I'm Landon." He stood up and reached his hand out to shake. She hesitantly shook it and said, "Maggie."
"What's her problem?"
Claire had already unpacked her things in her team's room and had gone down to the living room to talk to a few others that had arrived. Joey, Holt and Naomi. She hadn't seen someone else from her season of the Real World yet, and was anxiously waiting to see who would be coming other than her. She was quickly answered as Zac walked through the front door and called for anyone else here. "Zac!" Claire yelled. She stood up and ran over to Zac at the front door, jumping into a hug.
"Hey Claire," said Zac smiling, knowing there was a friendly face here before he had even walked into the door. "How are you?"
"Great," said Claire. "I'm on the blue team, what about you?" she asked, waiting for him to open his personal letter.
"Gold." Zac stared at Claire with a playfully evil look. "Looks like we're enemies." He smiled and then walked up to his room upstairs, and Claire went back to the group, slowly forming in the living room.

Richard shyly walked into the big mansion. That was the moment he realised this game was serious and people were there to fight and win. That was confiremed when he saw a well built male(Zac). He went over to a table that had a wooden box on. He opened the box and found a picture of himslef. 'Room 4"he said to himslef , picked up his bags and walked down the hall to look for the room. He entered the room with a "Here I go".
Alex was over confident when he entered the mansion. : "I am so going to win this" he tought . His greath dream was broken when he saw Zac. But Claire was there. "Babe" he shouted walking faster towards where she was standing. He hugged her tight to him and kissed her cheek> "I so missed you". He then glared at Zac" Hello there, pal. Get ready to loose." Alex glances at Zac's and Claire's papers with the rooms. He then picks up his paper. 'Room 1 Blue team. Hell yeah babe. " he hugged Claire again. "We're enemies, Zac boy."he smirked . "Shall we, Claire?" he asked the blonde girl pointing to the hall that led to the rooms.

She smiled widely when she kicked open the door to the big mansion, she didn't even stop to admire the house, she was too busy trying to scope out her other cast mates from Real world. She stood in the main room and dropped her rolling luggage by the door as she looked around, her rainbow hair had grown to her mid-back and she currently had it up in a high ponytail with messy bags as she looked around. "Starflower is hereeee! Viv? Claire? Zac? Alex!? Lyle!?!?!" She yelled, about to take a second to thinking about weither she forgot someone when she saw the wooden box and slid over, reaching around until she pulled out her own. "Silver, room 4!" she said and hoped someone she knew would be on her team as she went to retrieve her bags.
She walked down the hall, pouting as she dragged her bags down the hall way. It wasn't until her eyes lifted into the passing rooms that she saw her old friends, "OH MAH GOSH!" She squealed, running in one room to tackle Claire, Alex and Zac then went off to tackle Vivien she she spotted her and let out excited squeals. "I missed you guys sooooo much!" She said, sounding close to tears as she let out a dramatic wail before standing back to look at all of them, "Pleaseeee tell me at least one of you is on the Silver team?" She pleaded with her hands clasped in front of her.
She walked down the hall, pouting as she dragged her bags down the hall way. It wasn't until her eyes lifted into the passing rooms that she saw her old friends, "OH MAH GOSH!" Emmie stopped outside of the mansion, taking in her surroundings. The lush trees, and the larges house she had ever seen before smirking. This would be easy. The physical challenges should be no problem, and the socializing, well, it shouldn’t be that hard. She continued walking into the house, carrying her luggage with her head held high. It was when she stepped through the doorway that she saw everyone and the wonder of being here hit here. She really could win money, but she would have to fight for it first.
Emmie focused on the sound of her heels hitting the ground and the people standing near the table as she walked up to the table. They looked straight in the middle of some grand reuniting experience, so she decided to to push herself right in the middle of that group.
“ Excuse me. “ She muttered simply, offering them a bright smile as she moved past them to grab the card with her name on it. Emmie took a few steps away from he group before looking down at the card. The gold background was almost reflective, but she could clearly see the black, bold text that read GOLD TEAM, ROOM 3. Her heart fluttered with excitement, it would be like having a party all week, with the exception of the challenges.
After she had gone up the main stairs, it didn’t take too long to find room three, and so far no one else was in there, so she chose the bed in the far back of the room, setting her luggage down on the bed. Asher walked through the doors to the house and smiled. He saw everyone, some who were reuniting from past seasons, and people who were making their way up to their rooms. He was hoping to be able to get to know everyone here, and that they would have some awesome parties. As of now, the money would just be a bonus.
He pulled his luggage over to the table, where people seemed to cluster, and looked for his name on a card. Asher eventually found his card and grabbed it.. So, blue team it was. He hoped that this would be the winning team. Looking up from his card, he glanced over to the group of obviously returning players. He decided he would get to his luggage later, and walked up to the group.
“ Hey guys, the name is Asher. Anyone else on the blue team? “ He asked in a friendly tone, looking them all over. He was just hoping that this wouldn’t already strong alliance, which was an advantage that the returning players had.
Adrianna was so happy to be here, and the smile on her face was proof of that as she walked in the house. Her blonde hair was pulled back into a high ponytail with the exception of a few loose strands, and her eyes were excitedly scanning her surroundings. She saw the table with the cards on it, but she also saw the group of players, and decided instead of going to get her card first, she would go talk to everyone first. Because then she could get to know everyone before she had to look at them as enemies.
“ Oh my gosh, hi everyone! I’m Adrianna, but call me Adri. I’m so excited to be here and meet you guys! “ She said in a bright and bubbly tone. Adri was a people person, after all.

Claire smiled as Alex walked in and she side hugged him as he kissed her on the cheek. "Hey," she said and then looked over to Zac. He looked a little angry that Alex was here also. Alex just liked to bother Zac and no matter how much anyone asked him not to, he always kept doing it, even if Claire tried.
"I hope Alex doesn't start any drama with Zac, but knowing him, well..."

Claire ran up to her and hugged her and then Starflower came in after. "Oh my jesus," she said with her mouth hanging open. "STAR!" She ran over to Star and jumped into her arms and bear hugged her. "My partner in crime is here!" Claire backed off and let Star walk in though. "I'm on the blue team with Al."
Zac smiled brightly when he saw Vivien walk in. "Hey Viv," he said. He gave her a hug and then glared at Alex. "We'll see what happens. Too bad Claire'll have to go through this whole challenge without you." He looked away as Alex and Vivien walked upstairs. He and Vivien followed after them with Star alongside. "Sorry, me and Vivien are on the gold team. But, I promise I won't vote for you, unless you turn out to be awesome at sports. Then I'll have no choice," he grinned, jokingly over to her and then followed Vivien into their room.
Claire heard a man come up behind her and Alex and flipped around to see a tall, handsome man walk in. "Hi, we're both on the blue team. I'm Claire."
"He seems easy to get along with. Here's hoping."
Landon turned around to see Adrianna walk in with a bright smile on her face. "Hey. I'm Landon." Thank god someone else on their team walked in. It was awkward with Maggie saying one word to his every question as they unpacked. He had tried to make conversation, but she was being very secluded and rude. Maybe he'd vote her off the first day. Unless she was good. Then he'd have to deal with her for a while. He turned his attention back to Adrianna.
"Are you on the red team?"
"She's hot." Landon raised his eyebrows and made a big grin.
"I hope Alex doesn't start any drama with Zac, but knowing him, well..."
Claire smiled when she saw Zac's face light up after Alex's comments. She looked at the front door, where Zac was looking and saw Vivien walk in. "Vivien!" Claire ran up to her and hugged her and then Starflower came in after. "Oh my jesus," she said with her mouth hanging open. "STAR!" She ran over to Star and jumped into her arms and bear hugged her. Claire heard a man come up behind her and Alex and flipped around to see a tall, handsome man walk in. "Hi, we're both on the blue team. I'm Claire."

Landon turned around to see Adrianna walk in with a bright smile on her face. "Hey. I'm Landon." Thank god someone else on their team walked in. It was awkward with Maggie saying one word to his every question as they unpacked. He had tried to make conversation, but she was being very secluded and rude. Maybe he'd vote her off the first day. Unless she was good. Then he'd have to deal with her for a while. He turned his attention back to Adrianna.
"Are you on the red team?"
"She's hot." Landon raised his eyebrows and made a big grin.

Will grinned as he lugged his two large bags to the front of the stone mansion and walked in. "I'm baaaack." He mumbled slowly before taking in the atmosphere of the place. He took a card from the wooden table and found his name and picturein one of them. "Red - Room two." It read out.
"Hope everyone will be as surprised as I am to come back on TV." *Grins evily into the camera.* "Wait a sec, you're the same guy that filmed me in 'The Real World.' Well, as real in the world as that bullshit goes for.
Will avoided the crowd in the centre of the room and made his way up the stairs, carrying his bags up with some difficulty but managed to get to the second floor. "The Real World" at least taught him a thing or two about gyms as he had a decent muscle build but nothing to be proud of or brag about. He walked past the rooms catching glimpses of his former roomates and simple smiled at them as he passed their rooms. Waving is kind impossible when dragging two luggage bags.
Of course he had reached Room two and dragged his bags filled with books and clothes inside the room, finding a black guy and a couple of girls inside. So he let go of his bags and reached out his hand for a handshake. "My name's Will." He said, not even questioning if this was the right room.

Candice tossed her bags over her shoulder and rolled her suitcase up to the house, looking at it with one thin eyebrow raised. She walked into the main room, seeing everybody there, learning their enimies. Candice went up to the wooden table and pulled out the card with her name and picture on it. 'Blue Team- Room 1' it read. She shrugged and walked back to the main room, putting her card in her pocket. She had worn her silver belly top and her grey skinnies, along with her strappy black heels. If they had to do a competition now, Candice would still be able to do it in the outfit. She listened in until she heard someone named Asher announce he was on the blue team also. She smiled and did a little wave.
"I'm Candice Mayhem, Blue Team." She announced smiling.
"So my first night there, everyones all 'OH MY GOSH YOU'RE ON MY TEAM AHHHH!" *pauses and looks at the camera with one eyebrow raised. "I don't do that crap. This is a game, I'm here to win. Candice walked up the steps, her heels clicking with her as she made her way to Room 1. She pushed her bags underneath the bunkbeds, and tossed her other bag on the top bunk. She wasn't going to ask if anyone had already called that spot. Candice always got the top bunk. She hated bottom bunks. She walked back downstairs to the main room, and decided to make friends, even if they were on other teams. That meant better competition.

Candice raised one thin eyebrow and her grey eyes glistened for a moment. She glanced at the guy who just shook her hand, his name Alex, and could almost read his thoughts just by looking in his eyes. She slid her hand in his, smiling at him a little bit.

And she wasn't gonna share it with anyone, unless they were on her team and they were someone she could trust. But she knew if it had to do with the competition, she better get up and running right away. She tossed her long legs over the side of the top bunk, climbing down the steps carefully in her fuzzy white slippers that spelled "Live, Love, Lust". She walked downstairs to see a small envelope on the table and she picked it up. She decided not to read it until everyone was awake and downstairs, and she knew it wouldn't take long considering the loud sounds.
"Okay, so I used to be a huge morning person when I was little. But now, I don't like that. One of the things I hate is being forced to get up. But whatever. If that's what its gonna take to win this thing, I'm all for it."

Landon woke up to a loud noise that sounded like an airhorn being blasted troughout the house. He jumped up and looked around wondering what was going on. The horn stopped for a few seconds, and then began again. It stopped, now for good, hopefully. Landon rolled out of bed and guessed that it was their first challenge. He stood out of bed and stretched. He was wearing a sideless shirt and pajama bottoms and didn't bother to change into anything else. He looked around as the others woke up. Instead of waiting for any of them, Landon walked heavy-footed downstairs to where the noise had come from.
"Uh...what the hell. We better not be waking up like this every challenge day."
He came down and saw a letter, opened by Candice who was already downstairs with a couple others. He went over to it and picked it up to read it.

Ok, I think I'm going to change the way we vote for the people to go into the exile challenge. Instead of the winning teams voting only, I'm going to let everyone vote, two girls and two guys, but still one from each team. I realized that if we only let the winning teams vote then they'll pick the best players and then at the end we'll be left with a bunch of stupid, unathletic botards at the end (ahem Claire.) :)
Oh and we'll start tomorrow, and I'll make quick profiles for the NPC's so we know how to play them. If anyone wants to make extra characters, feel free :D

Well I think so we don't spend too much time with stupid crap we'll start with the night before the challenge, like maybe 8:00 pm and have some first night fun and meeting people. Then the next day we'll start the day with competing. I'm thinking morning wake up with an airhorn at 6 in the morning :D I'm evil. No team leaders, but some might shine as team leaders.
Also I think since we don't have half the characters, we'll eliminate random people as much as I hate to. I'll get people to take over the character in elimination that day just to make the person seem like they suck. Then when we get to the top 10, we'll get to the real eliminations.
