Description

Gamaliel is a towering figure, standing at 6’7 inches, exacting a determined look, and an unyielding gaze, which would pierce the heart of even the most bloodthirsty foe. His rust colored hair is long and his blue eyes compliment his bearded face, sporting a worn face of hardened maturity. Along with a well built frame, excellent physique, and a robustly toned gut, the man looks very well for his age, retaining almost as much vitality as he held in his youth.

Personality

A stern man, Gamaliel has seen his family murdered with his own eyes, harboring a hatred towards the ruling Riv’Narian royal family. Some of many traits range from seeming calculating, intelligent, straightforward when necessary, wiley, clever, very cautious, confident, somewhat stubborn, daring, and a bit of a realistic. He is a just man, though, and aside from his rather cautious approach to life and his hatred of the Riv'Narian royal family, is difficult to anger. Much of Gamaliel's paltry style of life derive from his disapproval of Riv'nar's poor living conditions and he is as much a soldier's man as he is leader, preferring to dine with his men than in extravagance. Some of is more notable traits come in the form of honorableness, bravery, keen awareness, and generally kind hearted intentions. He loves Riv'Nar, but not its royal family, despising the vast gaps between the rich and the poor and the general negligence that is and has affected the country. Nepotism plagues Riv'Nar from true greatness and its educational institutions rot with negligent decay. Gamaliel intends to eradicate many of the social, economic, and administrative faults and will stop at nothing to ensure his country's well being.

Equipment

Gamaliel usually wears a Kite Shield on him in times of battle and favors wielding a Double-Edged Battle Axe. A broadsword also hangs along the side of his belt when the occasion arises along with a pugio. Most of his weapons lack elegance as is evident of his thrifty nature and in the possession of weaponry and armor, he dislikes expensive or wasteful decorations. This being said, though, he wears a full set of gothic plate armor along with a sky blue cloak to remind him of his deceased wife, white mantle shirt, white tunic, black belt, grey cotton breeches, dark leather gloves, and black leather boots.
