Introduction
The City of Lights, they call it; a jewel that glitters with countless lights at night when you happen to come to it by sea. A place fitting for romantic getaways and inspirations.
Since anyone can remember, there's been a saying here that if you manage to count your life's "lights", then you'd reach whatever dream you're searching. And that its these people's lights that make up the bright 'Chandelier' of the city.
I'd usually love to comment on that, but I ran out of things to say about it after hearing it again and again for so long. It's a nice story to hear if you're a tourist, I guess.
But that's just probably what it is: a story. Four years in the city that everyone knows and loves will make you see that its just like any other place. People still live normal lives here. People still struggle and work here. Sometimes, there are people who succeed, but most of the time, you'd have to accept that even this city isn't spared from being spit in the face by unhealthy amounts of reality. Guess all that 'shine' kinda goes away after a while. Or maybe that bright scene of the city only shows itself to people who want to see it.

So this is an open RP for people who'd like to relax and take their RPing leisurely. An RP about the lives of certain people in the Chandelier Coast, their lives about to be changed by the mysterious legend that's been passed on in the city since anyone can remember. Its an open-ended RP, so the characters can pretty much be in any genre or situation (provided that it doesn't get too far-fetched).
As an added feature, any new members joining can PM me for a personal location in the RP for their character :D. Have fun!

Rules
1. (Not really a rule, but important) Be sure to make good use of the Chat RP system for posting. It'll help, seriously.
2. I really don't mind short posts as I believe that sometimes replies don't need to be over extended. But still, I'd really appreciate it if you look out for two very annoying literary crimes: one-liners and ridiculous amounts of grammatical error (a couple in a post is fine by me)
3. Be mindful of others' posts. You wouldn't want others to overlook details in your post, would you?
4. I'd appreciate it if you PM me first about important stuff about the RP's plot.
5. Be nice to other players. It's a given.
6. Have fun :D

OOC Notes
Holding a cup of coffee in one hand, Windrelli trodded on the grassy field one cold morning. His eyes drooping obviously because of drinking too much the other night, he finally settled down on a bench just in front of the big fountain, massaging his temples, which to him were throbbing like hell. He looked at his watch and saw 7:43, immediately explaining the lack of people around. He also wondered to himself why he woke up this early as his day usually starts his day at a healthy time of 10. He simply shrugged off the fact and leaned back. Thinking was making his head hurt worse.
OOC Notes
Vanessa scrambled about her house looking for her favorite purple blouse. It was made of a sheer material that was loose and flowy, very optimal for a stuffy day indoor. Pulling it on and making sure to tuck it into her slacks Vanessa pulled her leather coat on and headed out of her house making sure to grab her keys on the way. She had an eight o'clock appointment with a rather uptight 15 year old girl. Rushing out of her apartment Vanessa cursed as cold air bit at her cheeks. Check her cell phone she bit her lip. It was 7:48, she really didn't want to be late. Rushing past the water fountain that she usually stopped at, Vanessa tossed a coin in as she passed. The coin making soft whirl of metal in the air before it plopped into the water. She had to do that at least, for another wish that she would make it big time some day.
